Best Restaurants Open for Newyears Eve this year in Yuba City – 2024

Wanted to find a place to take my dad out for his birthday, which wasn't too fancy, but had good food and a good selection. This place seem to fit the bill. We were seated right away, but it was midweek, so not sure what it might be like on busy nights. Our server, Ivy, came to our table right away to get our drink order. Later we had questions about the menu and she was a wealth of information, and obviously knew the menu well. Her service was awesome and very attentive. My dad ordered the Steak Sandwich. It was fairly large. And it was a real Steak not some chopped up meat. He ordered it plain but you can get various goodies added to it. He ordered the salad with it instead of the fries, so can't comment on the fries. He loved it! I ordered the Filet Mignon with the garlic mashed potatoes side and brandy cream sauce. I asked for it medium rare. It was cooked to perfection! Which is a huge deal for me. As many restaurants can't get that right. The Steak was super tender, as it should, and that sauce was amazing. I would order that again in a heartbeat! The potatoes were really good too. The veggies that were served with it were alright. I think they could have been seasoned a little better. I think they were steamed, which isn't my favorite way to cook veggies. But that aside, it was a great meal. For dessert, my dad got the carrot cake. He really liked it. Because it was a large slice, he only ate half and took the rest to go. I ordered the Molten Chocolate Cake. Which came with a few scoops of ice cream and whip cream. It was a lot, but so good. I ate it all. Ha ha Why only 4 stars if everything was so good? I have high standards for 5 stars. There was one element that was not ideal. We were sat at a booth, by my request. But the booth we were sat at was at the end of the row. Which meant the spacing between the table and the seat was extremely large. If I were a large person, I can see being seated there. But my dad and I are fairly normal sized people. As it was, I adjusted the table so it was a normal spacing for him. As a result, I had to sit at the edge of the bench and the table was still far away from me. Very awkward way to eat. I would have asked for a different table, but it's not easy for my dad to get up. Bottom line, I'd be happy to go back. I actually can't wait. There were a number of items on the menu I want to try.

Good old-fashioned Steak House worth numerous trips! It has a great menu selection of large portions. Prices are reasonable, and the service is top-tier. The volume was low on the Tuesday night we visited, and it was appreciated, considering the open dining room. Their Bleu Bread has my approval; one order might not be enough!

We were there when they first opened, first timers. Were seated and served quickly. Should have asked more questions. Prime rib was way too big and cooked too much for me, paid 50$ for it it should have been cooked to perfection. Waitress did not check back for awhile as the restaurant was filling up, so I did not get a timely chance to let her know it was not good. Everything else was good.

Tried for the 1st time on a Taco Tuesday Lunch. Just let me tell you, their street tacos are very Tasty & DeliciouS!! Can't wait to try for dinner since they have a Rack of Lamb on the Menu!!

Fernando's is my husband and my favorite restaurant in Yuba City! Their food is always delicious and chef definitely uses fresh and local ingredients! I take all my friends and clients there. Their weekly specials menu always has a nice variety of options. To me, it's a Mexican/Italian type of restaurant. You won't be disappointed!

We walked in and were asked to look over the specials for the day. We went and sat down. I took a picture of the specials in case I couldn’t see them. I ordered the NY steak dinner it was listed at 17.95. Well when the check came they changed the price to $26.95 and refused to honor what the board of specials said 0 stars

Met some family from Roseville here, we all plan on meeting here again. Everyone was very happy with their meals. The rolls they serve are pretty good, the beans they serve with the bread are fabulous. I meant to order beans to go they were so yummy. We had a Onion Blossom which was tasty. I found the perfect plate, the Sizzling Steak Bites w/ Mushrooms and Texas Toast..I didn't want a big steak so it was perfect for what I was wanting. My husband prime rib he said was delicious. He also has the lobster Mac and cheese which was amazing!! Can't wait to go back!!

The customer service was so great I love the energy ☺️ there but the food was not for me My Husband love the Burger. I got the steak it was chewy they had big mushrooms with the steak. I had steak bits they also put the toast on top of the steak bits the bread was wet I also got shrimp it was ok and the potato soup was ok. I even got bacon Mac and cheese that was ok. They gave you a free yest roll with garlic butter that was good and they gave you free beans I didn't like that but overall it was ok. no veggies come with the meal you have to pay extra .

We did a date night, and dinner was great! Lots of food. We did have the onion blossom and it was good, a teeny hint of spice, but good. Only thing that was disappointing was the dessert, at the price, the portions did not stay consistent with dinner. We each had the chocolate cake and strawberry pizza, but they almost seemed like they were half servings. Either way, we enjoyed ourselves, but for almost $200 for two people we were not happy with the dessert portions.

I have been to India 8 times, out of literally 1000 Indian restaurants, this is the second best I have experienced. The food is fresh and delicious, they spice it as you like and the variety is superb.

The food was very basic, the name boards say authentic Indian food but it's nowhere near authentic flavors. I had samosas, malai chicken, chicken tandoori, butter chicken and garlic naan. All of the dishes were pretty average almost no salt and taste. Butter naan was like a pizza base, and butter chicken was just nothing more than a tomato sauce without salt. Malai chicken was decent but the portion was too less. Chicken tandoori was dry, saltless and small portions as well. Any of the dishes were as authentic as the one I have at bay area or in my city Chico also overpriced. There is a board at the counter saying we have increased $2 on each item. We spent all the time with $65 also we traveled just for the food all the way from Chico return disappointed. I won't suggest this restaurant if you are someone who wants to try good Indian food. I received a rude response to this review, we had this take overs left on our fridge for two days, how come they forget the to go box had given. Moreover I don't understand why the previous rude comment has been removed. If you can't take the honest opinion, please don't keep the review option open

This place exceeded our expectations! The chili chicken is what drew the us in to try and we loved it! Chef and ower, Vic was friendly and informative. The fish pakora was my personal favorite. Tons of flavor and the perfect crisp on it. The Chicken Malai was an Indian take on a chicken salad with greens and ranch, but the star of that was the chicken. Extremely tender.. like falls apart tender. So yummy. The place is large but the staff make it friendly. Nicely decorated and very clean. We will definitely be back.

I LOVE this place!! Soooooo good!!! You just have to make sure you put a lot of the sauce in your bowl in order to have the best flavor!!

Delicious! It's great to have a Mongolian BBQ in the Marysville/Yuba City area. Service was great and friendly. The atmosphere is nice too. Smaller place with a more cozy, family feel. Prices are good too. You get a nice, big bowl to add meat and veggies to and a variety of sauces to add at the end. The person running the grill is efficient and you'll soon be sitting down to enjoy a super delicious Mongolian BBQ. I'll be back very soon

This is my favorite restaurant! The food there is amazing. It's always fresh and tasty. You can order in and its all you can eat or make your food and take it home which is what we usually do. If you pack your bowl just right you can bring home a really good amount of food. Plus you get there chips and this sweet red dip that is so good. We try to go as often as we can. Everyone should eat there at least once. Best restaurant in town I think.

Let me start off by saying WOW!!! This place has amazing Customer service and the Food is on a different level . 10 Starz is what this place deserves everything was fresh from the Garlic Bread to the food. Every bite was tasteful. We will definitely return to this restaurant. We drive all the way from Sacramento to eat here and it was worth every mile . We will be back to try more of the menu . If you’re in the area and want a taste of Italy look no further.

They have very good food, the service is always great and it has a nice atmosphere. Definitely recommend. Every dish I’ve had tasted great.

They make their sauces, pasta, and pizza dough in-house along with other things. Very delicious food, and if you bring your own wine, the corking fee is only $13. I enjoyed the atmosphere. It was dim and candlelit, which made for an intimate environment.

What a surprise this place is! Went for Bloody Mary's... ended up getting delicious, southern inspired food and beignets for a sweet treat. Awesome hospitality and charming bayou decor made for a super fun lunch date. Definitely will be visiting again!

I came from Australia to see my wife and she took me to Huckleberry's. The food is excellent, the waiters are friendly and welcoming and the value for money is great aswell. It's a lovely restaurant and when I return back to the United States on another holiday I will be coming back here I know you Americans love their portion sizes but wow the chicken and waffles came out mammoth on the plate Thankyou!!

The food was delicious. Warm and friendly staff. Clean, with a cozy atmosphere.

You want good Italian food have you tried the dancing tomato there spaghetti & meatball is very good.. the French bread that comes with that spaghetti and meatballs is so soft and oh so tasty it is awesome! And I think what brings it all together is the waitress was just super nice , she also Came to my table 3 time to make sure everything Was alright... To me that makes for a good Restaurant... Our customers service here was top notch. The staff seemed to really enjoy working here and it showed in our service. Our waiters super helpful and gave great recommendations. Great portions sizes that fit the price of menu items. The garlic bread was phenomenal, the lasagna delectable, meatballs were huge and flavorful. Honestly there wasn't a pasta dish we had there that wasn't good and had a pleasantly surprised good clam chowder as well. Overall, a nice family eatery that will fill you up and with such wonderful customer service will have you coming back.

The food tastes great and the flavors are superb. Although service is alright, it takes a while to receive the food and because i was on my lunch hour there wasn't enough time to finish. I had to wait half an hour before my food arrived at the table.

Very deceptive online ordering practices. Went to order on November 11th and when you go to their page first thing that pops up is $10 off an order of $50! Ordered $100+ of food an did in person pickup only to get there and have them tell me the offer expired… over a year ago. Way to bait and switch!!

The Thai Shrimp are my fave!! Mai was amazing. She was kind, efficient, and funny!

The food is pretty good, but not super great. Service is excellent, and remained excellent all evening. Live band playing on this Friday evening. Update - After being to this establishment several times, I would rate it a 5 stars, and this is due to the continuous excellent service provided by Michelle. Always personable and prompt, she exemplifies and is the personification of how a server/bartender should be.

My husband and I came in and were immediately greeted and sat with our drink order taken. Tammy AKA The Candy Witch, is amazing, fast, and so friendly. We shared the chicken fried steak and biscuits and gravy; it was all so yummy. We will be coming back for the food, the service, and the people. I recommend this place for sure!!

Great service and food was 10/10 . Havent came here in years and it was as good as I Remember years ago . Will bring my family soon to eat here . Get the smash burger , it’s really good

Super bland food, very disappointing. I have business lunches here sometimes and usually they are good, but the last 2x it’s been really bad. Bland and cold food . Ordered the soup and the meat looked like canned tuna .

Placed a to go order around 6pm on a Monday. Was quoted 20 mins and it was ready at exactly 20 mins. The triple dipper was everything I wanted and served with 3 containers of ranch, which was great! The mozzarella sticks were spicy but the perfect amount of crisp, the tenders were saucy, and the sliders were juicy! The ultimate Cajun pasta was great, served with a piece of garlic bread!

Great service and the food we ordered was cooked to perfection. Customer service was wonderful and they are all very nice.

We always get good service when we go here and I don’t think our order has ever been wrong. Even with the long lines it seems to move quickly. They always have someone walking around cleaning which is a big thing with such a busy restaurant. The food is always cooked well. It’s definitely a family favorite when we don’t feel like cooking.

This place is always our first stop as soon as we reach USA. Animal fries and burgers made animal style are to die for…. Their prices are still not too bad. Their customer service is really good, one of the friendliest staff .. The Yuba city location is always busy be it drive through or the restaurant itself. Plus I do love to see chickens in the parking lot.. Definitely will be back next time we are in town.. can’t wait.

I stopped in here on a drive and I’m not kidding. This is the friendliest In-N-Out I’ve ever been to. The staff at this location is so kind. My experience was that there was plenty of parking. I walked right in. There’s also plenty of seating. I connected with one of the workers and was able to order quickly. I walked outside, and I was going to eat out there, but I noticed there were some chickens. Yeah, you read that right, there are chickens that live here! So I went back inside and eat in there. The staff was great. My food was perfect. This is one of the best In-N-Out that I’ve ever been to in my entire life.

Food and service was wonderful and prices were very reasonable. Beer specials and lots of entertainment made this dinner night with family one to remember.

Highly recommend bringing your family have a exhalent time Good strong drinks the best menu in town Everything I've ever picked off there menu has been absolutely cooked the way I ordered kids menu has great choices vegetarian menu. Wonderful atmosphere here employees are the friendliest employees. Very helpful with choice's Mix and match your order to better serve your taste buds. Good family environment. Always a treat to be able to come over and enjoy your food and drinks. Video games for the children and plenty TV's to watch your favorite sports.

I hold my Fantasy Football Draft here every season. Between the beer selection, TVs galore, and the food options. It’s the place to be. My wife and I are “eat-at-home” people and order take-out here all the time. The garlic fries are a must, their burgers are good and my kiddos like their chicken strips. The pizza and wings are also winners as well. During football season, they are packed because they have every game on. This may sound like a deterrent, but you NEED to be there in a Sunday to root for your favorite team. It’s a great experience. The staff is always friendly. The owners are wonderful people as well, and are always giving back to the community. Support them. 5/5 ⭐️

Great place, friendly service, amazing food if you r in the area you should stop by. German inspired food and good beer! They have gluten free options, and did I mention everything was delicious?

I'm going 5 stars cause the beer and service was really good. The food was fine, but was missing a little something on the BLAT, the Reuben and the Beer Cheese. They were all good and we ate them all, but they were just missing a little more seasoning. Still a 5 star stop and definitely worth going to.

Get the Thai Pizza!! Best pizza I’ve had in years! Service was very friendly and beers were good. Stout was the best!

My husband and I love the food and service at Lumberjack’s. Large servings, healthy options, breakfast or lunch or dinner. The cushions on the seats are needing an update since they are a bit hard. I highly recommend this place as the food is awesome!

Really enjoyed our breakfast here while waiting for family having surgery nearby. We felt like we were starving by the time we arrived, but we got a table pretty quickly and got the coffee we were craving very fast! Our food was really good, cooked just like home cooking! I love some country sausage gravy and was super happy and satisfied with my dish! If I'm ever in Yuba City again, I'll be sure to stop by to try something new! Or feels like family, and I recommend this place for sure!

Biggest hamburger I've ever tried to eat. Great price. I'm a big eater, couldn't finish it. Very friendly service. I really enjoyed the experience.
