Best Restaurants Open for Newyears Eve this year in Woodstock – 2024

I had the linguine & broccoli with a request to add onions and mushrooms. The vegetables were sautéed just right and were very tasty. The server, Jordan , was very attentive and responsive to any special request I had and there were a couple of those. I have been here in the past when he was the server. Just as good then. Nice atmosphere. Will certainly be back when I’m in the area. When a person goes to a restaurant on three different occasions over a six month period and orders the same meal with the same special requests and is served by the same server and everything is just as good and made the same each time, that is the kind of repeatability that most of us are looking for in restaurants. Job well done Ipp’s.

Atmosphere was lit ..! Amazing vibe ..! Food was good for the most part except the chicken pesto pizza .. felt like it hardly had any pesto sauce on it .. as a pesto fan, I was disappointed with it ..complimentary garlic rolls were so soft and delicious..! Add chili sauce to it and it’ll be amazing..!

Went for lunch, salad and sandwich for me and my husband tried a wood fired pizza. They bring out garlic knots beforehand, all delicious!

Service was par but the food was EXCELLENT. We stopped otw back from white water rafting in Tennessee and we were very hungry. We chose to sit outside but the atmosphere inside was very nice. Dim but a very intentional design. The food came out in a reasonable time and was well plated and seasoned. I forgot to take a picture of all our meals. Not sure if it was be cause we were an 8 top, outside, or something else, but our server just seemed like she wasn’t happy about taking our party…. Oh…and as we were checking out a bird decided to land on the pretty string light and POOP ON MY FRIEND. friend got pooped. I know it’s an act of nature but our server was very indifferent about the incident. I’d definitely come back but will probably sit at the bar or make sure we have someone different.

What you'd expect from a gastropub atmosphere. The patio is nice at night. Unfortunately an outdated menu led me here, because the fish tacos I wanted aren't offered any longer. That being said, the calamari and fish and chips are respectable. The latter is MASSIVE. I split an order with my date and we were shocked to find it's literally 2 entire big plates full. So the price point isn't as bad as it looks, at least for that dish.

We came here for lunch to celebrate a couple of family members' birthdays. Our server was very friendly and attentive, and she had no problem answering various dietary questions about the menu and even accommodating a couple of special requests. Pictured are the Beef Wraps, Rockefeller Oysters and the Smoked Salmon Tostadas. Of these, our favorites were the Beef Wraps, as they were PACKED with flavor and something not commonly found on other menus. Overall the food was good, but the service was the shining part of our meal.

Made a reservation for the roof top. It was really busy this Saturday… we did get a lovely table for two with a great view. The drinks menu looked great unfortunately we were not drinking alcohol so can’t comment much on it but the menu looked good We had the pimento cheese as an appetizer and it was so good Did the salmon and pork for our mains … both were very good. Pork was very tender. If you are looking for a laid back rooftop with a great view and good food you have to go here

Absolutely love this restaurant! Second visit for me; first for my husband. The food was amazing! Ordered the bacon wrapped shrimp and the scallops entree. The difference this time, was the extraordinary service we received from our server, Bella! Rootstock is lucky to have her. You can tell she genuinely loves her job and it shows! Thank you, Rootstock…I will be back!!

We booked the private party room upstairs and the whole experience was amazing!! Cassandra was so helpful and answered all my emails/texts in a timely manner. The food was wonderful and we have been hearing from multiple partygoers how amazing the experience one. The bartender we had was awesome and made really good drinks. If you’re looking for a place to host an event, look no further! Side note: we got there early and had a drink with David at the downstairs bar and he was so fun! He made great drink suggestions. We tried the ricotta shareable and it was delicious!

Bartenders suck and all have funny attitudes. Food is ok. Bar staff always seems to annoy me when I come here. Need better staff but that’s a tall order nowadays. Hard to find good help.

So, this is one of my go-to places. Best burgers and the salmon is great. Ya gotta get the pretzel too! I’ve never gotten anything bad. Service is always good and people are friendly. It’s loud and busy like a bar which is the only reason I gave a 4 for atmosphere. It’s not a swanky place at all but never disappoints with food! I will always be a fan of Guston’s and I highly recommend it to everyone I know regularly!

We went in blind. Didn't know anything about it. Pricing is high-end. This is a high-level steak house. With that said, the food was amazing. We got a crab cake appetizer, which was awesome. My wife got a steak, and I got a pork chop. We did the wild mushrooms as a side. It was all phenomenal. Our server was very friendly but also seemed a little overwhelmed. While at our table, she was knowledgeable and made good suggestions. There were some periods where we went a long time without seeing her. The staff worked well as a team with multiple people running food, checking on tables, and handling refills. Didn't expect the price in downtown Woodstock, but the overall service and food were well worth it.

The food and service at Prime 120 are TOP NOTCH! We have not tried anything we did not like They also have a Happy Hour from 4-5pm with small bite specials that are definitely worth checking out! Highly recommend stopping by, you will not be disappointed!

Pros - Food is to die for, great selection, amazing atmosphere. The best around. Outdoor seating. Cons - They charge for steak sauce after you buy the steak. 10oz pours of local beers for $8 (no pints). Valet parking guys will tell you they work for tips only. Spent well over $100 p.person.

Thank you Tuscany for making our son's rehearsal dinner a success. The food was amazing. The staff, Malek, Simona, Adriana, Matthew and Carolina were wonderful and made certain we had everything we needed. Tuscany is so amazing! My husband and I love every dish we try when we come here. Gabriel is charismatic, personable, and provides absolutely wonderful service. He always gives the best recommendations and explains the menu choices so well, which makes us end up trying something new and delicious each time. The atmosphere here is beautiful and we always have a great experience. Highly recommend Tuscany to anyone in or visiting Woodstock.

My wife and I were seated immediately in the corner with a view. Not too loud, intimate, inviting dining room. Had the white pizza and the toasted ravioli for our appetizers. The rolls they give you are fabulous. Got the Tour of Italy and the salmon for our entrees. Both were delicious with great portions. For dessert, we got the limoncello special and pistachio gelato. Our server Gabriel was knowledgeable, charismatic, engaged and on top of things! We were very happy and will be back.

I ordered the Sunflower seeds crusted chicken salad. The portion was great, dressing just fine. The chicken was 2 tenderloins (I assumed it would be a breast) and it was very over cooked. A picture explains it all. Too bad! I was really looking for a refreshing lunch.

My niece and I went here the other day. It was really good. We had the crab Parmesan dip as an appetizer with homemade saltine crackers, so good!! Then she had a burger with truffle fries and I had a chicken panini with onion rings. Highly recommend this place and those dishes.

My husband and I sat at the bar and shared the prime rib dip, wings, truffle fries, and the honey bourbon bread pudding. Soooo yummy. I recommend the espresso martini and the Grapefruit Ricky! This was our first experience at Marlow’s and we really enjoyed it. Thank you Taylor for your great service! :)

Tried out a new place to us and we all enjoyed it! The food was excellent, the service was great, and the location was right in the heart of Woodstock. The only tough thing was that parking was hard to find as it was shared by all the other businesses in the area. Prices were great, and there was a wide selection of items. A note, the Sunday menu is slightly limited to accommodate the higher traffic. It was busy at 11 but our party of 6 was seated within a few minutes. We will be back!

My boyfriend took me here for breakfast and holyyyy cow! They have corned beef hash, a rare find in my opinion! Everything we got was delicious. The regular coffee was also really good.

This is not only the best restaurant in Woodstock, but it has become my favorite restaurant I’ve ever been to. We’ve been here dozens of times over the past year and every single dish is AMAZING. My personal favorites are the Fried Green Tomatoes and the Blackened Pan Roasted Salmon. The prices are a steal for the amazing food you get. We’ve never had to wait for a seat, regardless of the time or day of week we’ve gone. The staff members are all wonderful. I could not recommend this place enough!

This place was fabulous. From the moment you walk in and the Hostess sat us. You can sit inside or outside. We chose to eat inside because it was so hot out today. We will be going back in the Fall so we can eat outside. The home had a lot of old charm to it which we loved. Has a lot of tables and chairs outside and on the porch. Our waiter's name was Connor. He was very sweet and we asked for some of his favorites. We decided on the fried green tomatoes, which were so delicious. Then we decided to split a French dip with caramelized onions and light horseradish. It was also served with french fries and a side salad. It was so scrumptious. That was our first time and it will not be our last time.

I’m in love with this restaurant. Especially the Brussels sprouts! So many places advertise “crispy” sprouts but these truly live up to the description. I absolutely love the fried green tomato BLT, the Bahn Mi and the Korean fried chicken sandwich (pictured below). I recommend them to everyone.

Great burger, awesome shake, exceptional fries!… BUT $24 is so steep

2 burgers, 1 fries for 30 dollars ( no drinks). It might be normal in 2024, but it's not worth it at this restaurant. The main flavor for the burger was from the aluminum foil wrap. I tasted aluminum and metal in my mouth. This chain is extremely overrated.

I visited Vive Guys for their burgers, but the experience was underwhelming. The burgers were small, and one order came out wrong. While the food wasn't bad, the service was just okay, and I felt the prices didn't match the portion sizes or quality. There are better burger spots for the price in the area.

I had a Truffle Burger and she had a 90° Burger, we shared crinkle fries and I had water and she had a diet coke. This cost right about $25. She really liked her burger and I felt like mine was more cooked than I preferred, but still good. I would choose the smash burger next time. Atmosphere and vibe were great. The servers who deliver your food were great. Lots of people go there on a Saturday. Very family friendly. You can eat inside or out. Fun experience if you're in downtown Woodstock.

I feel gross after stomaching this food. The burgers were cold, barely warm… like the patties are just microwaved. No grill flavor. Pre-formed, frozen, can’t even get them medium rare. They looked liked my cafeteria burgers from high school that were boiled. Flavorless, no juice. My husband’s burger was so sad looking…. $38 for two burgers and two fries. The bun tasted stale, it wasn’t soft, hard and plastic feeling. Absolutely horrible food, we will never eat here again. This is no different than McDonald’s to me. Cheap cheap cheap food for $$$

What a gem! We've talked about going here for over a year and finally did - I'm mad at myself for not going earlier. I had the Flamethrower, wife had the Bacon Jam burger. Both were outstanding. Tater tots and fries, both top notch...not greasy, perfectly fried. This place is instantly a go-to for us...service is awesome, and the atmosphere is patriotic.

I love this restaurant and especially what they stand for. Ralph and Carrie are awesome people and have really made something special here. The burgers are excellent and the wings are some of the best I've had - super meaty and delicious. I love the new location with the extra space and much larger bar. Great food and atmosphere. 10/10 I would strongly recommend!!!

Great lunch spot with cool menu selections for burgers and sandwiches. I had the Mustang Burger and it was very enjoyable. Cooked exactly as I asked and served with a smile. Service here was quick and courteous and employees were cleanly dressed. It doesn't even seem like there is a wait for your food due to all of the military memorabilia and pictures to view. Reminded me of the 57th Airborne restaurant over by PDK, however still maintaining a diner like feel. The place is spacious with plenty of seating and a bar lounge as well. Cleanest public bathroom I have seen is quite sometime, actually took a photo it was so clean. The rest of the place was very clean and tidy as well. Located in a shopping plaza over by the Sam's club in Woodstock so provides for plenty of parking as well. Over all a very good dining experience and will definitely be going back to try more of the menu.

SO good!!! We stopped in for dinner, based on other positive reviews. We absolutely loved the food, and the service was great as well. Everything was seasoned to perfection, cooked wonderfully, and everything tasted fresh! It might take a few minutes for food to come out, but it's cooked fresh. They freshly chopped the Tabuloah, so this did come out a little later than the rest of our food, but it was worth the wait. The prices were very reasonable, especially compared to the portion sizes and how filling the food was, and they offered a military discount, which I am always grateful for! The only downside we could see, if any, was that the seating could be limited at peak times. It is a smaller seating area. We definitely will be returning!

This was some of the best Mediterranean food I've had. I want to cover everything I will ever eat in that toum sauce. If only Woodstock wasn't so far, I'd be in there every single day. They would be sick of me!!!

Food was absolutely incredible, great flavors, reasonably priced with good portion sizes. Sad that I’m just now trying this place after living a mile away for three years, we will be back frequently. If you haven’t tried Sahara Grill don’t make my same mistake, try it now.

We live nearby and heard great things about this place so we decided to check it out! The food is outstanding you can taste the fresh ingredients and love that was put into every dish! Everyone working there has a huge smile on their face and it’s just an overall homey and cozy atmosphere! We want to Shoutout Nicole who was super sweet and very attentive to us! Today was my first visit to Make Street Biscuit. Typically I'm not easily impressed, however they managed to hit it out of the park. The staff was very nice and personable. Place is clean and has a nice atmosphere. I ordered the Five and Dime, and I was so delightfully surprised with how exceptional the taste of the food was. You could tell by the look and taste of the food that it's a quality place to eat. I will be going back for sure. Nice job guys!!!

This is a really fun and unique concept. The picture well describes the casual, youthful atmosphere, but the customers were a mix of young and old, upper class and working class. We give this two enthusiastic thumbs up! They have a full bar and the bartenders are fun and attentive. The way the food works is that they bring in a different food truck every day and park it out back. You go down and order your food and bring it back in to eat it at your table. The day that we went the food truck was Hoagie Bros, but they had an interesting mix of Mediterranean, Italian, Cuban, and American. I had St. Louis ribs which were great, and L had a Cuban. Prices were very reasonable for downtown Woodstock.

Excellent atmosphere with rotating selections of beer and seltzers and a full bar as well. They have food trucks throughout the week so you can get some food. Definitely worth a visit if you're hopping around downtown Woodstock

Went in last nite again to get food and was very disappointed. The pizza was not cooked and they forgot the flavored crust. How do you forget that...didn't read the order slip properly. Not worth complaining about because nothing gets done about the problem anymore in this day and age. And btw where did the old owner go did he sell again.

Their pizza is amazing. The perfect amount of topping. I asked for well done, and it was cooked to perfection. The staff are very friendly. The app is easy to navigate when you order online, and if you are not tec savvy, their staff are there for you to order in the store. Great location, and It's easy to find with plenty of free parking. They even have tables if you want to eat in. I highly recommend this location

Well let's just say for 61 bucks I thought I was get a massive pizza and wings turns out I got a pizza that didn't have toppings 4 inches from edges ( 4 inches of crust all the way around , wings where small , was told there was no pizza and wing combos

My wife always visits Dixie Lee when we visit NB, her absolute favorite has always been the coleslaw. However, recipe has apparently been changed (I understand it's under new ownership?) and the coleslaw isn't great anymore. Everything else seemed pretty similar as previous.

This place is just awful under the new management. It's a viscous cycle. You order take out, get the order home only to find out they messed it up somehow. Tonight I stopped after work and ordered two three piece fish and chips. After being burnt before I verified the order only to find out there was only one meal. This after waiting and waiting while listening to the cook berate customers thru the window. The manager or owner has zero people skills and often just sits there glaring at the customers. The sad thing about this is, if you do manage to get what you ordered, the food is pretty damn good. Verify your order but be ready to wait longer while they fix their mistakes.

The store is SOOOOO clean!! I didn't think I've seen such a clean looking restaurant. Dinning room is clean, not dusty, tables freshly wiped. Looking into the kitchen from the counter the kitchen looks spotless as well; I couldnt find dust and I tried!! Lol. The food was ABSOLUTE AMAZING and I got the fish which was perfectly cooked, just crispy enough, and full if fish not air! I cannot express how much I recommend this location. I would travel the 2.5 hours again in a heart beat to come here.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Food was great, the best breakfast wrap with veggies, and the turkey roll Doug had looked delicious. Plenty on the plate.

Stopped at Murray's restaurant for lunch. This restaurant is in the Irving, a good truck stop location. Food was good and was very quick to come out.

From the burger to the fries , Is service was fantastic. Tristan our waitress was on top of her game. So if you're ever at murray's and you see Tristan You're going to get great service.

I stopped in for lunch because I don't often have Chinese food. I opted for the buffet. Now, if I'm being honest, the selection is not big. But, what they do offer is not bad. You will certainly be able to find enough to satisfy your appetite. The waitress was very good and attentive. You can see she works hard and knows some of the regulars. The price was reasonable, and the restaurant looked clean. I was good with my choice of eating here over a fast food choice. Give them a try.

I have eaten Chinese food at many restaurants across North America and this was without a doubt the worst I have ever had. The rice tasted like burned oil, the chow mein was chopped cabbage with 2 indiscernible pieces of chicken and the biggest insult… the chicken balls came from a box (and batter balls is a better description). The only pleasant thing about the whole visit was our waitress.

Worst Chinese food ever. Two tiny pieces of chicken in the rice and a ribs were so fatty I was hard pressed to find meat on them. Will never order from there again.
