Best Restaurants Open for Newyears Eve this year in Winslow – 2024

Charming place to eat at a cool location. I had a Texas Dog and my wife had a Take It Easy Dog. They were large, have to use knives and forks to eat them. Tasted good, but a little pricey at $12.99 each. But, that's inflation for you.

Came here for snacks after taking pictures on The Corner. We weren't disappointed! We got a root beer float, pistachio ice cream and a crepe with raspberry and nutella. (You pay extra for more toppings) I was pleasantly surprised with the presentation of my crepe. And it was delicious! The service is quick and the staff are nice. The atmosphere is a cool vintage vibe, shiny barstools and all. It was crowded, which says something of the shop. Don't hesitate to give in to your sweet tooth when you're in the area and drop in for a crepe or ice cream!

We were staying here in Winslow, and our hotel recommended eating here. We had hot dogs. These are not your small hot dogs. You need a knife and fork to eat them. They are fantastic! The people at the table next to us had a huge banana split. They have shakes, ice cream, and a variety of meal items. This is right on the corner across from the Standing on the Corner. We will stop here again the next time we go through Winslow.

Whenever I eat at McDonald's, it's simply for convenience sake. But, I must admit that the double cheese burger and the fries are pretty good. I also enjoy their egg mcmuffin and hash browns. There's not much else to write about. Everyone has been to McDonald's, at least once or twice during their lifetime. Enjoy and safe travels.

Food was made to order. Staff was actually really friendly. Usually in AZ & NM the Indian ppl can be pretty mean and racist. But not at this McDonald's....even the customers were cool friendly and engaging. Nice vibe. Thanks folks...guess it's hope for this world ❤️

The food was usual McDonald's standard. We bought FOUR Happy Meals, a Big Mac combo, and two McDoubles. The server expected us to carry all that with one small sack. We had to ask for a large bag to carry every thing in.

Phenomenal food! We came into Winslow looking to dine at the Turquoise Room. But found the prices were higher. So we came across the street to this casual diner and the food was out of this world Chile Relleno and and Navajo Taco. Highly recommend!!!

This is a wonderful little diner in Winslow. The food is diner-quality, and quite good. I can tell it was made fresh for me. Everything was made to order and correct. The complimentary salsa was very spicy. The coffee was hot, and of good quality. Great atmosphere, plenty of on site parking, and excellent prices.

The food is very good. I don't usually eat beans, but this time, I ate them all! Hosts and waitresses are very welcoming.

Customer service was pleasant . The food was typical fast food, nothing extraordinary . 40 bucks for three people. 2 singles and a specialty burger. All mediums are way too expensive. Take you 40 bucks and eat healthy..

The below reply from CJ had an insufficient link to connect further... I've had better flavor and texture from vending machine burgers. Bun was stale and burger over charred. And one burger was missing a patty, although bringing more sand to the beach doesn't make the beach any better. Service was excellent - five star. Except they closed the lobby on us due to low staff.

Supposedly short staffed had the main door locked with people inside. I was hauling a trailer which wouldn’t fit through the drive through luckily someone was exiting while I was walking around trying to get in. They just didn’t seem to care about helping or really interested in even working it was a quick meal I would probably pass it up next time

I wish we could’ve had more food, everything looked amazing! We tried the fry bread with honey-and the local honey was so yummy! The fry bread was cooked to perfection! The nacho fries were perfect and crispy and all the toppings were so yummy! We got our food quick and the service was very friendly! We were just stopping by the town and so glad we stopped in to try!!! Wish I could give 10/10!!

Must stop in Winslow! Wonderful food. Fresh and Fast! Staff was very nice and welcoming. Clean restaurant. Definitely recommended to all. Something of everybody! Sun. 12/1/24

Stopped in for Navajo Frybread. Was delicious, the owner visited with us a bit and everyone was very friendly. If you’re in the area highly recommend this place! You have to stop.

Arrived at three o'clock. Friday. One customer there. Sat down. Bartender never acknowledged my presence. No how are you doing. No what can I get you. No nothing. Not even eye contact. I laid a twenty on the bar expecting her to take my order..... Nothing. She walked behind the bar and disappeared. I waited ten minutes and got up and left. Happy that the owner has a monopoly on bars in Winslow. Anyone else opened one he would be out of business. Never going back. Going to make it a point to tell anyone who I might think is going to get close to this bar not to go.

While walking out a rude and miserable looking woman walked out as she cut us off. This comes in play later. We go in and a lady in black dress serves us drinks. Our first drink goes empty as we sit and soak in this really odd environment. Figured I’d get one more beer. I waited a while and then the miserable lady comes in behind bar and the black dress lady goes on customer side of bar. The bartender had left the property because she had pulled out in her truck. A customer was filling in for her. After she came back later she tapped her finger on bar at me and just says “ready for the next?” So rude, no personality, clothes weren’t clean, she spilled a drink. This place is horrible! We left and will NEVER come back! Looked neat from the outside. Pics of our drinks as they sat empty.

Local neighborhood bar with reasonable prices. Locals were nice, bartender was nice, if you're standing on a corner in Winslow, AZ, definitely worth going to.

Captain Tony's was my first job back in '99. We had taco's , garlic sticks, pizza. Everything tastes the same, great flavor and great service. Try the tacos and garlic cheese sticks.

No buffet that's okay... If you're in a rush call ahead of time. Ordered my lasagna ( authentic made from scratch ) they let me enjoy a salad and my drink while I waited. Excellent staff. I'm headed back to the East Coast talking bout this place love it.

I really liked the atmosphere here but not the food so much. The beer was great, but it took a long time to find someone old enough to serve. The pizza was OK but the wings weren't very good. The ranch sauce saved the meal. The staff was very friendly. This was our first time here.

Whatever you do, do NOT order the tacos!!!!! It’s just a slab of a hamburger patty with no seasoning and was probably one of the worst meals I’ve had in a long time. I hate leaving a bad review because everyone was very nice but WOW I was so hungry and looking forward to some yummy food and was shocked to find a literal patty inside my taco…

Stopped by here to grab a late lunch passing thru. Food was good, service was great (Morgan did a great job) definitely recommend. Chicken fry was good as well as the chicken quesadilla.

Great family diner. Big plates, friendly fast service. Prices were better than many places in town. Recommend philly steak sandwich. Real fried potatoes. Yum.

This food is delicious, we arrived just before noon for lunch. We spent $32 for 2 ppl. I'm not used to homemade egg rolls and they were delicious. The teriyaki chicken is the best I've had by far. The sauce seems to be homemade vs a store bought sauce. The fried rice is wonderful. I would definitely recommend this spot for a quick bite to eat.

It is a nice quiet place. The noodles have the best delicate flavor I've ever had. And it's safe for sulphur allergy. I've had em several times.

On our travels, we frequently stop in Winslow, Arizona, to rest before heading off to another destination. One place that we love to dine at is The Turquoise Room. We have always had a great experience with wonderful and delicious food and an excellent guest service experience. Their service is impeccable, and the staff is always friendly. It's great when staff members remember you and have a conversation. This just shows how welcoming they are. The staff is very knowledgeable about the menu items and will help you with your choices. The service was so great that they even reserved us a table for Thanksgiving Dinner. They were very accommodating even when they knew they were full for Thanksgiving. The staff members are all very professional. The restaurant is beautiful and wonderfully decorated with native American art and rugs. The dining room is spacious and offers plenty of seating for their patrons. The restaurant also offers a bar area. We have dined here numerous times, and the food has always been delicious. From breakfast, lunch, and dinner, the food was phenomenal and delicious. My favorite part, of course, would be desserts. The Turquoise Room is definitely a restaurant that everyone should try. From the delicious food and excellent service, you definitely enjoy your meal.

Very friendly competent staff. Our food looked and tasted excellent. It was almost like stepping back to the Fred Harvey era. We certainly enjoyed the restaurant's and the hotels early 20rh century feeling. Highly recommended!

Absolutely excellent! We stopped in for a weekday lunch and dined in the bar area. Host was great and the bartender was super friendly & efficient (young man, receipt indicates #41) and the food is excellent. Carnitas tacos & Caesar salad = superb. The lounge was comfortable, super cute gift shop, beautiful artwork and absolutely impeccable space. Highest recommendation!

Review for Denny’s Restaurant in Winslow, Arizona (Address: 400 Transcon Ln, Winslow, AZ 86047) Recently, I visited this restaurant and was extremely disappointed with the service. I approached the staff and asked if they had chicken soup or beef soup. They said “just a moment” and left. After some time, they came back and informed me that they had chicken soup. I said I would like to purchase it, but they didn’t even respond and simply left again. I had to wait a long time, calling the waiters to take my order. When someone finally approached, they were again very slow. After I checked on the status of my order, they prepared it just as slowly. In the end, they brought me the soup, and it was only half a portion. I am very upset with such poor service. I will not be coming back to this restaurant. The service and overall experience were very disappointing..

We ordered the sirloin steak and eggs which were good. I really love their multigrain toast. We ordered a side of Brioche French toast and they complete missed the ball on that one! We waited forever to get it. Not the waitresses fault, she was very nice. I think the cook just missed it in the kitchen.

11.9.2024 I came twice for lunch and dinner I had a day job the girl was very nice polite and does her job well now the night shift is not very good at all the girl was young she doesn't pay attention doesn't even offer a menu I stood 10 minutes at the entrance while I waited to ask no then I went inside and waited there 25 minutes until I asked myself
