A wonderful experience :) the staff was extremely friendly, I dont dine out for steak a lot so I didnt know what to order based on my like. She helped me out and patiently explained me the differences. The steak was out perfectly and juicy. I’d highly recommend to everyone.
Food is really good especially the Paella and Tango Mixed Grill! Love the ambience and server is awesome. However, it took a little bit of time before they got back to us once we've seated. And also, the menu prices in the website is not updated which will somehow surprise you when you see the actual menu.
Wrap was good had a bit of olive flavour not my favourite. The burger had a bit over powering cumin taste and top half had lettuce and tomato bottom was some fine sliced onions and barely any mayonnaise. Misleading written In Menus, ketchup, mustard, and relish or pickles would make this better. Ketchup came with cold chips but barely enough for anything. I assume chips come cold. Would have liked better if they were still warm at least. Burger was barely warm place was dead so no excuse for that. Price was fair 41.44 with tax for two meal lunch not great but not horrible. Probably return to try steak dinner. Not going outta my way to return especially with Baileys so close.

We heard Enoteca was revamping so we had to visit them before they did! And it didn’t disappoint! A lot restaurants in Winnipeg nowadays are adapting to the sharing plates style and I love it as we get to try almost a bit of everything in the menu. We had 4 dishes for 2 people with average stomachs and it was enough to fill us up. Favourite dishes were probably the pappardelle and cauliflower! Flavours were amazing in both dishes and you could really taste the crab within the pappardelle. Would definitely order that one again. We did find the pork belly a little harder to eat and I would say the sauce is definitely needed for that one but other than that, it was yummy. The pickle in that dish was delicious. Atmosphere was good! Reserved online and got seated promptly when we arrived. We can’t wait to see what Enoteca’s next iteration will be!!
Impressed by Enoteca's ambiance. The service was excellent as well. Our server was attentive and friendly, always making sure our glasses were filled and our needs were met. But the true star of the show was the food. Everything we ordered was delicious and cooked to perfection. We will definitely be back to Enoteca again soon!
What a nice little eatery! Found it online, read the reviews and decided to give it a shot for date night with the wife. The food was absolutely amazing! I was a bit skeptical at first and concerned about portions seeing that I was hungry and the dishes had to be shared but was pleasantly surprised that it was perfect to share. The only downside to this lovely dining experience was that we were seated close to the flimsy entrance and within an hour I couldn’t feel my toes as it was COLD. It’s a busy place so the doors were opening regularly. I suggest a portable fireplace or something to keep the diners warm.

As a big fan of seafood, I tied the shrimp plate, and it was awesome, cooked to perfection and full of flavor. Also tried the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo, which was really delicious. The staff were friendly, but the restaurant was quite crowded, that’s no surprise given how good the food is.
Always a classic place to go out for some spaghetti and drinks! Their salad is one of my absolute favourites and I think about it often. The gluten-free rotini is just okay - I wish there were some more sauce options or ways to spice it up. The yummy drinks make up for it though.
We recently dined at Olive Garden, my favorite was the classic fettuccine alfredo, which was creamy and rich. The breadsticks , soup and salad were also delicious, as always. A special shoutout to our server, LORD who made the experience even better. He was attentive, polite, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend both the food and service at Olive Garden!

What a beautiful and fun experience. We attended the 2nd season of the Le Petit Chef in Winnipeg mainly on a whim. The food, service and experience was excellent and I highly recommend the event. Our server Rod was engaging and the food was delicious. The only caution I would provide that it is an elevated cost adventure and might not be for everyone.
We attended Le Petit Chef late last year with its debut at The Velvet Glove Restaurant (Fairmont Hotel) and it was an unforgettable experience for my partner and I. The service was top notch, the food was delectable and the show was so unique. It definitely exceeded both of our expectations and was so memorable. We’re so excited to attend Le Petit Chef & Friends this time around and we can’t wait to bring our little one to a future show!
We brought my adult daughter for her birthday, what a cool experience. I added on the wine pairing and extra cake, it does come with a dessert , but since it was her birthday, I wanted something a little extra. Service was impeccable, food was good and most importantly the animation itself was awesome!! My only critique would be the special occasion add on cake that was a bit of a let down. It is pricey, but honestly for such a unique experience or for a special occasion, it’s totally worth it! If you haven’t already, book your seats, you will not be disappointed.

It was a fun night out with friends. The club is small but friendly. A place for all genders to mingle. The night we went there were mostly happy lesbians but it was still a nice vibe. The music reminded me of the queer as folk.
It is a good place; music isn't something they are famous for, but drag queens are fabulous. Would be nice if they invested a bit more in training their DJs or looked for someone else.

Phenomenal. Everything from the warm welcome, to the service, and the food. It was me and my sisters birthdays and we decided to dine here. Our waiter was Andrew, and he made the experience! He gave us a lovely little bit of history to Hy's and went through the menu with us. He was very friendly and we shared some laughs throughout our time there. The food was incredible! I can't say enough good things. Perfectly cooked. Tasted great. They even surprised us with "Happy Birthday" written in chocolate on the plate with our desserts.
Best Anniversary Celebration on Oct,26, Hy’s was the greatest dinner experience I’ve ever had. The staff, the food and restaurant were 5 out of 5 hands down. My wife loved the food, especially the scallops.
This is a very fine dining experience. The waiters are very refined in their etiquette and knowledge of the menu. The French Onion soup was the best I've ever had, I had to order a second one to go at the end of the meal. The entrees were cooked perfectly and we enjoyed every bite. The table side Bananas Foster was also a fun experience and tasted amazing. The room is a bit crowded table and chair wise, we happened to go when it wasn't very busy but if the room was full I think it may have felt very crowded and conversation noise would have made it feel quite loud.

I made a reservation here for Thanksgiving, drawn in by the elegant atmosphere and excited for what I hoped would be a memorable meal. Unfortunately, the experience was far from what I anticipated. The turkey was particularly disappointing. The dark meat was cold and tucked beneath dry white meat slices, which were served with only a small amount of gravy. When I politely brought this to the server’s attention, his response was dismissive, stating, “That’s how it is,” without offering any solution. We ended up packing our meals and giving the leftovers to a homeless group nearby. Considering the price—$75 per adult and $35 per child, with a total bill exceeding $300—I expected far better quality and service. Regrettably, this experience has left me with no desire to return. In hindsight, I should have opted for a home-cooked Thanksgiving dinner, which would have been both more enjoyable and more satisfying. —————————————————————— Thank you for responding to my review! I appreciate you taking the time to acknowledge it. However, I was hoping for some insight regarding the specific issues I mentioned, especially the server’s dismissive response when I brought up concerns about the meal. Hearing ‘That’s how it is’ without any attempt to address the issue felt disappointing, particularly given the occasion and the meal’s cost. Addressing situations like this could make a big difference for future guests, and I’d appreciate knowing if any steps are being taken to improve in these areas. Thanks again!
We booked a private room for our wedding dinner (small party of 9) in the Clockwork Parlour. Oh my goodness the food was beyond delicious! The quality is absolutely top notch! The service was quick and so accommodating. It was the most perfect wedding dinner! I absolutely recommend having special event dinners here, it was a great experience!!
This is a small restaurant inside Fort Garry. The room is incredibly tall so it doesn't feel closed in but the atmosphere definitely leans more intimate and quiet. The surroundings are beautiful and elegant. The staff are all warm personalities and know their menu very well and we enjoyed more than one recommendation from them. We dined here twice and both times had full dinner entrees followed by desserts. The open faced salmon sandwich was the only let down, it was too difficult to eat as the bread didn't hold the toppings so had to use fork and knife and it was tough to cut. The chuck flat was tender and a very healthy portion. The lemon tart and chocolate pate desserts were delicious and a perfect size and they are rich.

My family and I had an amazing dinner at this location when we visited Winnipeg. Special thanks to our server, Justin, who made sure we were well taken care of! 10/10 food and ambiance
Yummy steaks and shrimp, our server was top notch and the miners pie never fails being so delicious. Only thing was we were put beside an exit door that kinda dims the atmosphere 1 star. I know someone has to sit there but wished it wasn’t us haha. And it would be helpful to have a chair in washroom for nursing babies. Just a suggestion.
The Keg is our go to place for steak, we had a delicious meal and drinks. We are happy customers and thanks to a very nice server named Kayla. She truly have attention to details to what her customers need. We will look for her the next time we dine at the keg.

Last time we were in it was very busy. I appreciate that and was willing to make allowances. However after sitting and waiting over half an hour without even being offered a coffee refill we were starting to feel we had been forgotten. After almost 40 minutes we flagged down another server and asked if they could check on our order. Apparently at that point it hadn’t even been started yet. We asked if we could just cancel but were told no. Finally food arrived and it was obvious they had rushed through to get it out after our inquiry. Buns for nips were cold ( usually they are nice and warm). Patty was just warm not hot and even the fried onions were only warmish. Part of the patty also looked a little pink. We were very disappointed as we love Sal’s and were so looking forward to our nip platters. I understand when you are busy but please stop by and keep your customers updated on any delay. At least we wouldn’t have felt abandoned.
Popped in quick just to pick up 6 donuts to go. They had 8, but I was told they could not sell me any because future customers may want them and they don’t want to sell out… This doesn’t make any sense, I’m not sure why I would be refused the product in the chance someone else may want it.
Ordered off the silver menu. Breakfast was good. Service was good. Restaurant was clean. Friendly people.
Olive Garden Italian Restaurant is a renowned dining establishment that brings the rich flavors and traditions of Italian cuisine to a welcoming and family-friendly atmosphere….
Although there was a mix up when we first arrived and no one knew who had our table, it was fixed and taken care of immediately. Manager even came to our table and offered us a free appetizer, which was very kind. Our server, Kylie, was delightful! Very attentive, great sense of humour, and friendly. Our food was hot when it arrived and very delicious.
Melissa was an absolutely amazing sever. Quick with drink refills. Always asking if we need anything else, and if we did it was fast. One of the top 3 waitress I have ever had at any restaurant. Any restaurant should be happy to have her! Food was good. Came out hot. No complaints.
On Friday, l had lunch at the restaurant. Will was our server. He provided great serve. Always attentive and one step ahead, providing refills before we even had to request them and always checking on us. The food was served fast and it was hot and very good. Thank you to all the kitchen staff (and Rob) working in the background. You provided a great and very enjoyable meal.

Edit: first of all, still great, meanwhile one event them had one of a worst DJ in the in my life. (definitely could be worse but considering how good they position their great taste of of drinks and interior) Drink is 10/10 but bring your headphone and have your own streaming music service. Wonderful services and 10/10 environment at a 17 degree sunny day. Not gonna say best beer but very tasty and there are way more to explore. first time here and will be back. please don’t be a crowded place but stay longer in the city.
A superb brewery with funky (good funky!) beers, delicious wines and ciders, and a gorgeous space. Their lager was clean and refreshing, and their sours range from tart and fruity, to incredibly funky. The wines and ciders are worth checking out, too!
Loved my flight. Picked at random and loved them all! Thank you. I drove to Sookram's but was confused where to park. Decided to drive nearby to Low Life and so glad we did! Parking, great friendly service, and selection has for sure become my fave. Thanks again, Low Life! I'll be back!

We took in a fringe show and then off to Peasant Cookery for a late dinner. Attentive service in a warm homey atmosphere was a perfect way to end the evening. Started with a warm beet and spinach salad that could have been my main dish, so tasty. I had the bison that was potted with potatoes, mushrooms, carrots and flavourful gravy. I don’t think I picked up my knife as it was fall away perfect. Wonderful and tasty, very good. Our table also had flatbread pizza and steak frites both also well received. We had room for dessert but the mini donuts by the cube we calling us. A great experience as usual and we need to get back more often.
I had the best food in Winnipeg here! Delicious! The service was great, I had starters, Calamari GF ! I loved it. And the ribs. But the best was coming! The peasant pie is to die for! My kind of super tasty comfort food. I had a blast. The bison bourguignon was very good but the meat was a bit dry, which should not happen in a bourguignon. Portions were very generous. I would have shared the calamari instead of ordering two starters. No place for dessert for me, they looked good though, so order wisely. The place was nice and definitely worth stopping by!
Loved it here. Bohemian chiq atmosphere with nice high ceilings and plenty of space. The food was also outstanding. My steak was a far larger cut than I expected, was seasoned perfectly and the cook was spot on. Beverages were classy (also pricey), and the charcuterie board was half off on this particular night. My boy's pappardelle was delicious according to him, and my girl loved her flatbread. We all split a bday carrot cake, very very little room to spare but we managed to wolf it all down - sweet and delectable. Great spot!

We went to this place as this has been recommended so much on blogs and other social media. I’ve had it on my “Want to Go” list for a long time. Finally had a chance to go tonight. You can book a spot about 4 weeks out from preferred date. Reservation online was easy with no problems at all. Parking is NOT free at The Forks. I wish they would pay for your parking if you spend a certain $$$ at the restaurant. Expect to stay about 2 hours for dinner. We were seated right away and our server was nice, friendly, and attentive to our needs in a timely manner. We ordered a variety of items on the menu as it’s our first time here and wanted to try a bunch of different things. We got the pounded cheese and classic beef tartare as appetizers. The beef tartare was great and the pounded cheese was good. They were both served with the right amount of sourdough. Appetizers came first. For mains, we had to wait a while. We ordered the buttermilk fried half chicken and 10oz berkshire pork chop with a side of brussels sprouts. To be honest, the mains and side were underwhelming. The fried chicken was not cooked and seasoned evenly. The top half was less done than the bottom half and the bottom half was more seasoned (therefore, more salty). On the good side, chicken was tender. The buttermilk dressing was just ok. The pork chop was smaller than I expected… and personally not a fan of it. The meat wasn’t as flavourful as I hoped it would be. The Brussels sprouts were a bigger serving than expected. But it had a weird taste to it. Wasn’t too happy as well that the mains are priced so high but you have to pay extra for the sides. For the cocktails, I had good ones and the sangria was ok too. Had the paper plane and oaxaca, 5pm. We ate only half of the mains so we had leftovers to take home. This is our first and mostly likely will be our last time here. For the price, I expected way better tasting food and a more remarkable overall dining experience.
Very nice atmosphere. The burger is one of the best I've had in a long time. Great service, delicious cocktails, friendly staff. Highly recommended.
I was very underwhelmed with the food. Only had a few bites of both my appetizer (blackened albacore tuna) and main (pickerel). However my drink was fantastic. I had two of the Kool Jams. Delicious cherry drink. The hostess was on the phone when I approached and she did not even smile at me or apologize for being on the phone for so long. Eventually a server came and sat me when he saw I was getting annoyed standing there for so long. My server was very good. This is not a restaurant I would return to.

First time here, came for a late lunch on a Friday, so it was quiet. We were greeted warmly and seated promptly. The place is clean and spacious but has a nice, cozy atmosphere, with a basic but stylish decor. There is a nice outdoor seating area as well. The lovely young lady who was our server was friendly, and attentive and engaging. There are many options in the menu to choose from. We also had the option to order from the breakfast menu. Ordered the yam Fries, mango prawn salad and the hot prime rib sandwich. Everything was fresh and delicous, and our orders came fast. It was nice to be able to taste the flavours of the meat in the sandwich, instead of it being salty. The salad was very large and had a light, unique, slightly fruity flavour. The water tasted very good as well, no chlorine taste. Always glad for this as we prefer water, but many establishments don't have good water. Our experience here was very good and we enjoyed our time. We especially love it when we find a restaurant that can compare to healthy, home cooking, such as this one! Will return.
08/05/2024 Very good breakfast. We enjoyed the breakfast special. There were great options with the special. My better half likes French toast and this was an option that is provided at no extra charge. Wow! This is the first time we have been at the Cork & Flame in many years. It is about 5 minutes from our current home. It is well worth the visit. It is very nice inside and there is a patio tucked away in the back. The washrooms were nice and clean. The service was very good. There was also lots of parking available. We were there about 9:20. The owner tragically left us on 01/24/2024. He left a legacy of good will and an exceptional place to get together and share a good time. It is well worth the visit, enjoy!
I met a friend for lunch and enjoyed the restaurant immensely. We were cordially greeted and welcomed and seated immediately. The menu is extensive and everything we had was delicious and more than ample. The service was awesome. I would highly recommend the Cork and Flame to anyone.

I recently visited The Forks Market in Winnipeg and had a fantastic experience! I tried the pizza from Red Amber, and it was absolutely delicious—crispy, flavorful, and topped just right. The market offers plenty of seating, so it's easy to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. With a wide variety of food options to choose from, there's something for everyone. The overall ambience was lively and welcoming, making it a great place to spend time with friends or family. Highly recommend a visit!
It sure has changed. Love the new Lounge spot upstairs. Lots of custom shops and food choices to fill you up. It was my spot back in my younger days. When they had The Market And my old friend worked there... you should bring it back.. it was Nice getting local produce. It was a meeting point for my friends alike as the bike trails led to it or started from it. They definitely ruined The old trail in Whittier Park For new development. Why Bridge still off limits.?
I liked this place over a decade ago the last time I visited Winnipeg and I still like it now. Lots of changes since then. Much more selection of food from what I remember, lots of seating, more shops to explore, and very clean. Definitely worth a visit.

Went to le petit chef for anniversary date night and absolutely loved it! The meal was wonderful and excellent attentive and friendly service. Would absolutely return and recommend. Fun experience. The spin on a caprese salad was probably my favourite dish surprisingly, it was amazing! It should be returning next year and we are absolutely planning on going again
We had their Afternoon Tea service. The service was good and the atmosphere was nice enough, but the menu heavily featured baked goods, which all tasted a bit stale, as if they were prepared several days ago. Given the price for the quality, I can’t recommend their Afternoon Tea.
Have been multiple times and always had an excellent experience at the Velvet Glove Lounge at the Fairmont. Exceptional service and wide selection of cocktails and fine eats. We had cauliflower wings that might be the best I've had. Nice atmosphere and the staff were very accommodating - serving us breakfast outside of the usual hours. Really enjoyed our visit to both the hotel and the restaurant.

This was our first time visiting and it was great. The atmosphere was incredibly welcoming yet felt upscale from the moment you crossed the front door. Our server was so knowledgeable and attentive, yet never intrusive. The dishes were full of flavor and their presentation was elegant and inviting. Kudos to every single person who made our evening such a success! Highly recommended!
Definitely exquisite dining experience. Mike is a very friendly and helpful waiter. The food quality spots on. I never expect to find a gem in italian restaurants in Winnipeg. I came in one person but the service was beyond the expectation. The Kale Salad is my favorite because i usually judge a restaurant’s food quality by tasting the salad or side dish first. The moment i tasted the kale salad, i knew the rest of the itiems were going to be good. The sauces in all dishes here had complex taste that just kept making me keep eating even i was almost full. The pasta tagliatelle is extremely out of question.
Harth Mozza and Wine Bar is a hidden gem that truly delivers an exceptional dining experience. The atmosphere is incredibly cozy with a beautifully designed interior that immediately sets a warm and inviting tone. The lighting is just right, creating a perfect ambiance that adds to the overall charm of the place. The food is absolutely spectacular. Every dish is expertly prepared, and the flavors are simply divine. While the menu may be a bit limited, the selection is unique and carefully curated, ensuring that each item is of the highest quality. The prices are fair, especially considering the superb quality of the food and the delightful dining experience. Service at Harth is unmatched. The staff is attentive, friendly, and goes above and beyond to make sure your visit is nothing less than perfect. Parking is generally spacious enough, though it can get a bit crowded during the weekends when the restaurant is at its busiest. Overall, Harth Mozza and Wine Bar is a must-visit for anyone looking for a cozy atmosphere, incredible food, and top-notch service.

I can’t tell you how sorry I am to have to write this review. I took my brother and sister to the keg for a celebration. I chose the restaurant because I had been here before and absolutely loved it. Which is why it was so disappointing to have the experience that we had. The ambiance as usual was very good and the baked potato I had was good. That’s about all the Pros I can come up with on this occasion. All of our steaks (all three of us had one) Were very chewy and not as tender as medium rare should be. The flavour and the seasoning was spot on, but the steaks took some effort to eat . The jumbo shrimp that my brother and I had were very tasty but rubbery . I must admit the vegetables were cooked to perfection mind you. Even the Caesar salad seemed watery compared to the last time I had had it . And to add insult injury, our server was very inattentive. So any concerns we had were not promptly addressed. The worst part of this whole experience was the fact that I chose this restaurant and was bragging about how much they would love it. I haven’t been to this restaurant in a couple of years and I can’t believe how much the experience has changed. I may go to The Keg in the distant future, but not this location.
Had a great anniversary dinner with our tween daughters. The menu hasn’t charged much over the years but we were happy to see our classic favourite - the Sirloin Oscar, grilled to perfection! Main reason we gave 4 vs 5 stars was because adding a chicken breast to a Caesar salad cost an extra $16! But sadly that’s likely due to inflation, just seems a bit over priced for a simple grilled chicken breast. Other than that the food and service was 5 Stars, and when the waitress found out it was our anniversary she brought a complementary Billy Miner Pie even without us asking, a classic favourite that never disappoints. Likely one of my favourite restaurant desserts city wide!
Great first experience at The Keg. Our server was very friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu when we asked any questions. We really enjoyed the shrimp cocktail (not pictured), there were 5 good sized shrimp, and they were very fresh tasting for a restaurant in the Prairies. The prime rib was full of flavor, and I was happy that the roasted vegetables on the side were cooked perfectly. I find at some restaurants, some vegetables will be overcooked or some not cooked enough - that was not the case here. Lastly I highly recommend trying the patio on a nice evening, but inside the restaurant looked nice too!

My husband and I enjoyed our dinner together where we received exceptional service. I ordered the Arogosta with lobster, prawns, scallops, and bacon with a sherry wine cream sauce that was served over spaghetti, which was excellent. I highly recommend this dish, as the combination of flavours were amazing. My husband on the other hand had the Pappardelle Bolognese with a veal and pork sauce topped with pecorino that was pretty disappointing. We finished with a chocolate cheesecake which wasn't the best, and we wouldn't order this again either. It was light, but dry, and not your typical cheesecake. The presentation was nice, but don't let that fool you.
Bellissimo is an authentic Italian cuisine restaurant with great menu options. Staff is really nice and take care of your needs as required. Great atmosphere with a very nice patio option for summers. A must try spot, very busy check for a spot before you walkin.
First time trying Bellissimo and it was delicious! Made an early reservation and opted to sit outside since it was a nice day. Ordered a charcuterie appetizer which was yummy; was odd that crostinis didn’t come with it, thought it would’ve been better to go with the cheeses/meats. The carbonara was decadent! Was so creamy and such a flavour burst with each bite. Took home half of it since we had filled up on the appetizer and bread beforehand. Tried their seasonal strawberry basil lemonade cocktail and it was so refreshing and very aesthetic. Opted for the lemon meringue cheesecake for dessert, generous portion! Was so fluffy and creamy, with lemon flavour. Would come back to try their other menu items!
The Blue Marble Restaurant & Lounge is a premier dining destination that offers a unique blend of culinary excellence and vibrant ambiance. Nestled in the heart of the city…
Very yummy chicken quesadilla which came fast. Very fresh accompanying salad. Cheerful service. It was very quiet when we walked in .
Was hungry at the airport of Winnipeg so we went to Blue Marble restaurant which is a 5 minute walk distance. Ordered their fried calamari with 2 drinks. The fried calamari portion was small and the salad was okay. The vinaigrette was not that tasty was a bit too sour for me. Service-wise it was perfect. Great atmosphere. There were no crowd.
Consistently great food and service! Every time we have gone here for dinner (I think this was our fourth time), the food has been prepared beautifully, the flavours paired nicely, the service polite and attentive, and the portions and prices impressive. I can honestly say that some of my favorite dishes I have ever had in Winnipeg have been at The Blue Marble. The atmosphere is very nice and calm, and I enjoyed the choice of music playing over the speaker while we dined, so that's a bonus. I will be thinking of that dessert for a long time: Banana bread french toast with apple cinnamon ice cream...mmmm! We will definitely be back.
