DiSalvo's in Williamsport proved to be an exceptional dining choice on Saturday evening. Upon entering, we were struck by the elegant, multi-level space featuring refined linen table settings. Our seating in the 'kitchen area' offered an engaging, behind-the-scenes perspective on the culinary team's expertise and the wood-fired oven's warmth. Once seated, the refreshing Paloma cocktails and warm rolls with dipping oil complemented our exploration of the menu and evening's specials. The appetizers – a dozen fresh oysters and the innovative Duck Roll, blending duck confit, crispy cabbage, and Asian flavors – set the tone for an outstanding meal. We were already happy. Our main courses, roasted chicken (with Thanksgiving type aromas) and homemade cheese ravioli with substantial meatballs, paired beautifully with the house red wine. We only ate half because we wanted dessert and glad we did. A decadent cheesecake and spumoni concluded the meal on a high note. The place was warm and cozy. Cody, our attentive server, ensured a memorable experience. We departed content, with delicious leftovers, and look forward to returning.
We stopped in on a Thursday early evening for dinner while traveling through the area after a recommendation from a friend. We shared an appetizer, caprese salad and a pasta dish. The food was amazing, specifically the Pappardelle Pescatore. Our server was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was relaxed. There were not a lot of people dining in the front dining room where we were so it was quiet. They have another indoor dining area and an outdoor patio. Very good place to have an Italian meal in Williamsport.
You can never go wrong with dinner from DiSalvo’s. Went for date night and as always service and food was amazing. Highly recommend making reservations.

This afternoon, I paid a visit to this restaurant for a late lunch. Upon arrival, I noticed that the venue was largely unoccupied, with only one other table filled. My dining companion and I selected a cozy corner booth and began perusing the menus provided by our server. I decided on a Reuben sandwich paired with a side of French onion soup. Conversely, my husband chose a half dozen wings and an appetizer called pork sliders. Our food was served in a prompt manner. The French onion soup was hot and flavorful, boasting a rich flavor and a generous helping of melted cheese. The Reuben was equally tasty, featuring an abundance of corned beef and tangy sauerkraut. While my husband's wings were enjoyable, the true standout of his meal was the pork sliders. These consisted of four sliders filled with pulled pork, sauerkraut, thousand island dressing, and topped with a cherry cranberry compote. Although this combination may seem unusual, the flavors melded together surprisingly well. Throughout our meal, our server provided attentive and friendly service, and the restaurant maintained a clean and welcoming atmosphere. We are already anticipating our next visit.
Update: 4-24 posted latest menu. The menu has changed quite a bit but still has some decent vegetarian and meat options. Food was good: swordfish dinner, cheeseburger, and gruyere cheese and veggie sandwich. Bonus is to go when the jazz group is playing. Update 2-23 Breakfast is very good. Omelettes are large with plenty of fillings. The pancake is huge but very nicely done. Can soon fruit fire the starches on the side. Update 12-22: Mahi mahi dinner is a little bland but the piece of fish is quite small, I'd estimate less than 1/3 lb. If you have a big appetite, don't get it. The chickpeas with tofu dinner was reportedly excellent! Update 10-21 The newly renovated indoor restaurant has opened. It is completely different from before. It is much brighter with more windows. The bar is as you walk in and much sleeker. Nicely decorated. Food is basically as it was outside in the summer for lunch. Haven't been for dinner. Update 6- 2021: Outdoor seating from about April through mid-October is quite nice. They've added some large converted areas for hot days and have some heaters for child evenings Lunch choices are quite good-- falafel and sweet potato fries. From a while ago: Choices are ok but the kitchen is inconsistent. Individual pizzas are good but very salty. Shrimp quesadilla is fine. Mahi mahi is good.
WOW! We were looking for a place to eat after seeing the abandoned bunkers. We checked in, and the concierge told me about the restaurant located in the hotel. We ordered the Brussel appetizer and the burger with sweet fries. Both were delicious. The sprouts were so tasty. I usually don't eat them. The patty on the burger was cooked just right. No pink, not dry, & not greasy. I would give them a 100..... complements to the chef. Our waitress Kayla was sweet and paid attention to the details. Thank you for your kindness. All the staff is wonderful and amazing.

We made a lunch stop on our way out of town and ordered several hot dogs, including a chili dog, kraut dog, chili cheese dog, and Chicago-style dog, accompanied by chips, with a request to substitute fries for one order. Although our hot dogs were flavorful, the fries were not delivered, and we requested cancellation after completing our meal. The venue was clean and tidy, with attentive service, marred only by the mistake with our order.
Cheap and consistent food. Nothing magical, nothing you wanna write home about, but always good quality ingredients prepared well with good taste. Really great value for the price! Staff are awesome, friendly, cool people. Incredible beer selection, almost entirely local/small breweries.
Was passing through and looked up restaurants with vegan options. This and a couple other places came up, we chose Kimball’s. We are very satisfied. The tempeh fries are to die for, so addicting. The veggie tempeh cheesesteak style was also super good. The tofu wings are the best we’ve had thus far. Absolutely recommend for vegetarians/vegans. Yummy options. Will be back next time we’re in the area.

Visiting our daughter at college and a Google Maps search for food landed us at Barrel 135. The reviews sold us and after stepping inside, we were not disappointed! The cocktail menu had a lot of great options, we tried 4 or 5 and were impressed with each one for different reasons. Food was not what I expected walking in, but was right up our alley for something different. The short rib ramen was great, nice big chunks of meat, a good kick in the broth, and was something that I wouldn’t typically land on at a first-time visit… but glad I did. The poke bowl and seared tuna were also great options and tasted great. Desserts were out of this world, we literally each got our own because we couldn’t decide on one to share. Again, zero disappointment in that decision and would do it again. Our server was fun and energetic, made us feel like we had been friends for years, and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We will most certainly take this stop again when we’re back in the area.
This place is bar far the best brunch in town and it’s always delicious. I’ve been looking for something i don’t like about the place but I can’t seem to find it. Staff is warm welcoming, cocktails great, and most importantly the food is amazing. Also when I do go to dinner Fried Chicken Sandwich is my go to, never misses.
Unique menu and very friendly staff. Had the tuna special Friday and short rib tacos on Saturday, and both were excellent! Good selection of appetizers and drink.

Did I really just spend $15 on an appetizer that literally just barely covered the bottom of the box? OR did my door dasher help himself on the way here???? It’s only an appetizer but seriously? I’ve never seen a $15 calamari that was so disgraceful. It’s sad I was really looking forward to eating from here. You took 42$ outta my account and my ticket says 31$???? My apologies to Stonehouse. I wouldn’t suggest using DoorDash AT ALL! Again my apologies.
The best pizza and chicken parm we’ve ever had. Waitress was wonderful. Good prices. Nice atmosphere. Would go here daily if we weren’t 3 hours away!
Traveling through and stopped for lunch. It was pretty early so not busy. We were seated quickly, food was served piping hot, pizza was super thin, so good! Green beans were real good too! I would definitely eat here again.

This place was great! We are on our way to Bills Old Bike Barn and needed some lunch and decided to stop at Harvest Moon. I got the meat lovers scrambler, my daughter got the build your own pancake and our waitress brought all the toppings for her. my son got the Oreo stuffed French toast and loved it. My boyfriend got the 8 oz black diamond breakfast and it was amazing. The steak was perfect! So good. The service was awesome as well :)and we got the crab tater tots as an entree and those were so yummy. We definitely got too much to eat. the ONLY thing that I could say is that an ant got into their chocolate chip container or something because my boyfriend ate a dead one with the chocolate chip he plucked from the toppings for my daughters pancakes. If it was a cockroach or something I’d be more grossed out but an ant is understandable lol. All in all it was a cute stop on our little weekend trip and we would stop again if we come back out here again :) we spent around $89 including the tip for 4 people.
Passing through the area and always looking for Mom & Pop shops. Excellent food, large portions, served hot. Ordered 2 apps - perogies and crab tots - black diamond breakfast and the Flying Pig sandwich. Everything was hot and well prepared. Delicious!
This is your quintessential hometown diner. It seems everyone knows someone. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food is excellent. The only issue is we don't live closer. I'm happy to go out of my way for The Boss, though.

The Villa never disappoints! The food is always great. We generally get the filet mignon but have had the lobster as well. You can't go wrong eating here. The waitresses are very friendly and check back with you to make sure everything is to your liking.
The food was fine; I loved the eggplant! The waitress was in too much of a hurry, and we had to ask her to refill our coffee. But we still had a wonderful time visiting with an old friend.
Probably the most consistent place we go. No matter what we order, we know it will be just as delicious as it was before. The waitresses are so friendly, most have been there so long that you feel like they know you, sauce is delicious, ravioli, gnocchi, meatballs..... house made. And ALWAYS choose the house dressing!!!

This is my wife’s favorite place to eat. We went here on a date tonight. The service was excellent and so was the food. Great portions and very reasonable pricing. Very good service. Highly recommend you have a reservation on Friday night. A Williamsport classic with excellent food and a great friendly atmosphere.
Sauce too watery. Chicken on salad had no flavor. Atmosphere is a little drab. Service was good for the most part. Probably wouldn't go back.
Iconic cafe located in Williamsport specializes in steak, hamburgers and Italian fare. The food lacks distinctive flavor and the portions on the small size. Salads are non distinctive. Crowd is older.

I went in expecting an English pub and was surprised with what I found! It is more of an English pub with an American twist... You won't find malt vinegar or HP Sauce on the tables, and the chips on the menu aren't chunky chips, they're lovely thick-cut homemade potato crisps. I recommend giving them a go. In general, flavor profiles are not what you'll find in England, such as a nice fennel sausage in your sausage roll. Speaking of sausage rolls and no brown sauce, the dish is served with petal sauce (ketchup, mayo, garlic), which was new for me! The food is good quality and nicely prepared and presented. Admittedly, it's a bit on the pricey side. The staff are super friendly and easy to chat with. Our glasses are kept full, and we were given just the right level of attention.
My son, daughter-in-law, and I went for Sunday Brunch. The menu had a sizable selection of English Breakfast fare. The server was helpful and pleasant. And the food was prepared well and delicious. Just a note - I ordered hot tea and many places bring you a box with a selection of different teas plus extra hot water in order to enjoy a second cup (Most tea bags are designed to have a second serving) I WAS asked what type of tea but not able to make my own selection and also was not given extra water. I know it seems like a small detail but when paying $3 for one tea bag the details are what turns a good experience into a delightful one.
Had brunch there today with delicious hash, English 2nd breakfast, and the Benedict a la Goose which included fried pig ear. Let me tell you, it was all SO good! Not to mention I had the the most amazing espresso martini I’ve ever had! Great service, incredible food, and a great birthday experience!

This was my husband and I’s first time here. We have wanted to try it for ages, but never got around to it. As I told the man when we paid “we will definitely be back!” The atmosphere is so fun and the food was delicious! A friend recommended the guacamole and it was the best we have ever had. The free chips and salsa were also very good. We got a margarita flight and they were all great as well! My husband got the jumbo burrito and I got the Yolanda’s Enchiladas - both were filling and so tasty! Prices are extremely reasonable averaging about $12/meal. Cannot wait to go back!
Very disappointed with quality, portion for the price and flavor. I’ve order the flagship steak from menu. Don Patron Steak very small and thing cut of t-bone no flavor, just a dry piece of steak maybe 6oz The shrimp looked like it came from a box of Asian noodles. And when I asked for the tortillas I was charge an extra $2.50 and $1.50 for a little bit of canned jalapeños. Wow. Shocks me the audacity to charge people for this things, when every single full service Mexican restaurant serves large dishes with tortillas an at least some salad. Very disappointed.
For this geographical area of Pennsylvania, the Mexican cuisine was fantastic. It's the real deal. From the menu selection to the restaurant decor. They can mix up a standard Spanish Margarita or the Slashes if you prefer. No hamburger taco here.

Great place to grab delicious food that leaves you feeling content and not overstuffed. The food is well worth the price for how it’s thoughtfully crafted and presented. The basement area was cozy and highlighted many football (soccer) teams. Great experience, highly recommend!
I desperately wanted to give five stars, but after consideration, it is not warranted. The first thing is the waitress, who was very nice, completely forgot that I had ordered two appetizers. When she came back with the wine, she asked if we wanted an appetizer. I immediately reminded her that I'd already ordered them and began to tell her the two dishes when she cut me off, saying she was sure she put it in but hadn't written it down. When the Brussels came out without the Octopus, I assumed maybe it was going to come out. It never did. So now she missed what I ordered not once, but twice. I really wanted to try the Octopus too. As others have stated the portions tend to be small and the Brussels were no exception. I know that this is actually an appropriate portion but for two of us it went quickly. It was very good. If we'd had the second one I might not have thought of the small portions. The entrees came and they were pretty and good but the portions disappointed again. There were five smaller scallops, and a duck leg. Not a leg and a thigh or a breast, but just a leg. They were both well executed and delicious. They had run out of the tiramisu, which is silly because it was only 7:30. Make more for Saturday nights. Overall, the place was beautiful but it's overrated. There are other options nearby that are a better value for the money.
First time in Williamsport so we look for a nice place for dinner. Website pics look great so we call and book a reservation for the John Ryan expecting a nice meal and good atmosphere. From the second we walked in the front door we knew we had made a great decision. The John Ryan is a AWESOME PLACE. BEAUTIFULLY RESTORED BEYOND WORDS. YOU HAVE TO SEE IT FOR YOURSELF. BUT...., IT GETS BETTER. OUR WAITRESS, Stacey greets us and gives us a nice and interesting history of the house and probably the finest wait service we have ever experienced. The menu was interesting and food was prepared beyond our expectations. We did a private tour of the house and it was BEAUTIFUL AND BEYOND BELIEF. FINISHED THE WONDERFUL NIGHT WITH A COFFEE DRINK AND THE BAR. I WILL BE DRIVING 2 AND 1/2 HOURS BACK HERE IN THE FUTURE FIR ROUND 2. THANKS EVERYONE WHO MADE OUR NIGHT AND VISIT SO EXCEPTIONAL!!

Food was delicious, portion sizes were generous, restaurant and bathrooms were clean, and volume level was low enough that it was easy to have a conversation. Staff members were friendly, knowledgeable, and went out of their way to make sure I was able to order a vegan meal. My parents are not vegan, and they enjoyed their meals, too!
One of my favorite resturants in Williamsport. Famous for Hibachi Shows and high quality sushi. Friendly staff and clean environment. Coupons can be found in the Webb Weekly.
Fantastic food, it was delicious hibachi! I got the shrimp and scallops combo, which you get a large portion. My friend and I visited for my birthday and the staff was kind enough to sing and have me ring the gong haha

I went here for lunch around 1 pm on a Friday. Which may have accounted for the slowness of the service. The food did not get to the table till after 2 pm. Also the restaurant was a bit loud for my taste. The food, however, was excellent. The Blue Burger I had was juicy, perfectly cooked, and full of cheese. Also, the fried jalapenos were a delicious touch. The sweet potato fries were also very good. To drink I ordered the Stephen King inspired Cider Graf w/marionberries. It was not too sweet which I liked, and was unlike any cider I'd tried before.
This review STARTS in 2005. I happened upon this place 19 years ago on an impromptu road trip with a dear friend I’ve been meaning to come back for Almost 20 years! Tonight was the night. I was absolutely mind blown at the menu, as a strict Plant eater (I’m not culturally vegan but I eat their diet) I was elated to find the menu very much in my favor. The food was to die for, the beer was incredible, the atmosphere was serendipitous, welcoming, and just downright awesome, and as I write this an hour later, my tummy is happy. My only regret about this place is that it is a 3 Hour Trek from my home. I loved it 20 years ago, I loved it now. Amazing beer, Top quality food, and cool people
Awesome place, love the atmosphere! We were slightly concerned when the pretzel came out and looked like baguette (as New Yorkers, this was unfamiliar to us lol) but it was the best pretzel we ever had! And finally, a brewery that nailed the cheese sauce. Mac and cheese was perfectly cooked and creamy, wings were crispy with a delicious sweet sticky bourbon BBQ sauce. All 8 beers we tried were outstanding as well. Parking wasn't great but would not stop us from recommending or going back when in the area!
