Passed by this place several times and finally decided to stop. Great atmosphere, though it was crowded food came out relatively quick, was served hot, and had good flavor. Loved how you are given a random card and have to listen for your name. Overall a fun, good place to eat. We will return.

Definitely fulfilled the craving for great seafood! The sea bass and risotto were delicious! Unfortunately, the asparagus was stringy and chewy. The service was great! We had a newer waiter who did a great job and was very friendly! The atmosphere and the area is beautiful. I loved walking outside and seeing the river area. Definitely a have to visit in Waco.
This was a nice restaurant right on the Brazos River. They have a beautiful deck that looks over the river and where you can watch cute little turtles swim by. They have an extremely long list of cocktails, Wine, beer, and more. All of which we tried was delicious. Food wise it was also all scrumptious. It has great true Cajun flavors from Jambalaya to fry baskets. Our servers Alex and Suzanne were sweet, enthusiastic, and attentive. Would definitely come here again.
We had a very nice dinner at Brazos, and it has that hidden gem vibe. The service and the food were excellent. Suzanne was so good at taking care of us. One thing to note, they do not serve any of the boils at the bar. Highly recommended to anyone visiting to drop off their child at Baylor. The drinks are excellent;)

Magnolia table shines through with tasteful design elements (no surprise right) as you would expect from Joanna Gaines. The food was good but not great. We had a table of 7 people with a variety of different plate options. Overall we were stratified with all plate choices with the exception of the Bloody Mary. The serving was super small for the price but still tasty. One of our group stated the burger was a bit dry. The different butter option for the bread was excellent. We would definitely return. Great atmosphere.
I'm still thinking about the pumpkin bread, it was amazing! Moist on the inside, a light crust on the outside, absolutely perfect! Our waiter was attentive (I believe his name was either Angelo or Angel, i think?), he made sure we were taken care of. The restaurant was super cute and the presentation was on point. I loved my breakfast sandwich, I ate about half of it before I realized I needed to take a picture of it! I also bit into it and the yolk gushed out, now that's a sign of a good egg! My boyfriend also had some delicious biscuits with his eggs and gravy. I would totally eat here again.
They didn’t have reservations so we stopped in, put our name in and then had an hour to explore the town, when they page you, you have 10 minutes to get back to claim your table. It was worth the wait. Breakfast was perfectly cooked and the biscuits…oh my goodness were they good!! The strawberry butter was icing on an already wonderful bite. The donut holes by themselves seemed a little overcooked but the chopped apples were cooked perfectly and the flavor balance was spot on. Mimosas were nicely done and service was friendly. There were lots of things on other tables that I would have loved to try, I’d definitely be back if I lived close.
L&L Hawaiian Barbecue is a vibrant dining establishment that brings the authentic flavors of Hawaii to the mainland. Established with the goal of sharing the rich culinary…
Stopped by on way to Grandma's house ease of Waco. We like Hawaiian food on Kauai and Maui. The chicken kudzo was cooked nicely. The sauce was too gelatinous, seems like it should be watered down and heated. The rice, macaroni salad and french fries were cooked well. On the BBQ mixed plate, the pork was good and the beef was good. The rib was sliced really thinly and was a bit tough to eat. The atmosphere is good, quirky and near many other eateries downtown. The staff are very friendly.
First time trying! I love Hawaiian Cuisine! My choice is always Loco Moco! Hamburger patty with gravy topped with sunny side up eggs....side of rice and macaroni salad! This place didn't disappoint me at all! I had it delivered!
Customer service was fantastic. They were very patient with us. The food was delicious! As a poly it was nostalgic to eat the food I loved growing up. The atmosphere was welcoming and enjoyable. 5/5 stars all across the board, will come again.

I recently visited Jake’s Texas Teahouse and tried a few of their offerings. The atmosphere is really charming, and the service was excellent—friendly and attentive throughout our meal. As for the food, I had the chicken fried steak with fries and fried okra. While the sides were tasty, the chicken fried steak wasn’t quite my favorite. I felt the gravy could use a little more flavor to complement the dish. On the bright side, I also had the Cadillac Melt with a Caesar salad, and it was pretty good! However, a touch of salt and pepper would have made it even better. The decor is cozy and nostalgic, filled with classic touches that create a welcoming, throwback vibe. It’s a great spot for families with kids and anyone who enjoys taking in some old-school charm while they dine. Overall, the dining experience was enjoyable thanks to the warm service and great atmosphere. I’m sure with a few small tweaks to the seasoning, this place will be even better!
A bit of a wait but so well worth it. Our server told us they were short staffed but indeed did her absolute best and made sure we never needed to top our drinks off, made sure our meals were to our liking and did it all with a bright sincere and pleasant smile. Well enjoy this restaurant, the food, the fabulous eye candy set up and the incredible dessert. Highly recommended if you travel through Waco. You won’t be disappointed.
I've visited a few local restaurants in Waco, and all of them were really good, I went here for lunch to see if I could keep up that streak, and this restaurant surely didn't break it. Food ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Me and my parents got rather basic meals, but even then, they were all really good. I recommend trying their more interesting foods though, I'm sure those are even better. I got the BLT, my mom got the regular burger, and my dad got a chicken sandwich, all came with a side of fries, for my meal I added some watermelon along with my side of fries as well. Everything tasted really fresh and was packed with flavor. The buns were toasted perfectly along with the meat, and the mayo and condiments were really good as well. My watermelon was pretty good too, I was expecting an average watermelon, but the freshness and the nice balance of sweetness and flavor made it a little extra special. The only thing I didn't enjoy as much were the fries. They were a little mushy but had a home style taste. I appreciated that it wasn't loaded with salt too, but I would've liked more seasoning on it. It's not enough to bring it down a star because I enjoyed it overall, including the meals. Definitely recommend the food. Service ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The waiters were nice and consistently checked up on us to see how we liked the food or if we needed anything else. It wasn't anything special, but it was great overall. The food came out pretty quickly, and we spent about 30 minutes in the restaurant, great service overall and there weren't any major problems Atmosphere ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I think an atmosphere deserves five stars when it's not just good, but great, and special in a way. This place had so much old fashioned detail and there was a lot to look at while you sat down. Something else I thought was neat was that there were notes inside the crevices in the brick wall of the restaurant. They each had a message inside to read and was something I distracted myself with while I waited for my food. Another cool detail was that the food was served in hubcaps, you can't tell with my pictures, since it was covered in food and was shown on the bottom of the plate. Overall, really awesome atmosphere and it wasn't too cramped either. I was really satisfied with this place overall. The atmosphere and the food is what made this place stand out among the rest. I wanted to try their pies but ended up being too full. That's something else this place is known for apparently. Props to the owner for a great restaurant!

The parking is not very good, but possible. Once you get in the atmosphere is very welcoming. Our waitress was amazing and very attentive to us as well as 2 large groups. Major kudos. The food was pretty good!!!! The onion rings were phenomenal! The cornbread has whole corn and jalapeños inside and was so moist! We will be back. My only regret was not coming sooner.
We came here for dinner and let me tell you, the atmosphere was unparalleled. I was very impressed with the vibe and the unique place that this is. The chicken fried steak is fantastic and the drinks are large! They have great prices, nice staff, and so many TVs for sports. I would definitely recommend this for someone who wants a unique Waco place to eat.
George’s Restaurant Bar & Catering is a great spot to watch sports, have a beer, and get some grub. The chicken tenders and fries were great and the sides are really good. The place was quite busy which makes sense for college football Saturdays. The shrimp wrapped in bacon kept coming by and I’ll be ordering that next time.

There’s wasn’t any wait when I arrived. The order is placed at the register, you receive a number and find a seat. Food came out promptly- Hot & SPICY, like I like it. I only ordered the Crawfish Etouffe-Poutin Fries, which is an appetizer but also a sufficient lunch portion. It was mostly enjoyable, but something wasn’t fresh. I could taste it, but couldn’t pinpoint which ingredient it was. Id still recommend it.
Texas...now I'm happy. Steaks are great, BBQ 's are the bomb but this splash of Southern and Cajun was music to my mouth! Everything we tried had great flavor. Spicy without it being hot, but of course you can add some extra heat do your dishes. They have a bunch of spices you can try. I'm not sure I can pick a favorite dish. Catfish was fresh, fat and flaky tasting. The gumbo was good and I'm not a big bean lover but the red beans and rice had so much flavor. Kinda smoky with some hame bacon kinda flavor. I dunno, I just know it's good. The people working there were super friendly and helpful. You may be tempted to go to the more touristy te-jun cajun but if you do stick to the crab pots because all the other food will never compare to this place. I promise you. I'm heading back to my home now and I'm actually craving their food already. I'm gonna miss you Texas and it's Cajun Craft!!! If I come back to this area I will definitely eat here again.
First of all the staff was super friendly! The cook (George) came out and was spoke to everyone, and he was so nice. Second, the food was delicious! We got the bacon wrapped stuffed jalapeños, and the trio of red beans and rice, craw fish étouffée and gumbo, all were super tasty. The restaurant is small but nicely done, fun atmosphere and even though it got crowded there was
