The Wave Kitchen & Bar is a vibrant dining establishment that offers an exceptional culinary experience, combining the best of contemporary cuisine with a warm and inviting…
The Wave Kitchen and Bar has a great beachside vibe, perfect for a relaxed getaway feel. The ambiance is spot-on for a resort setting, and they offer some delicious shareables—highly recommend the octopus ceviche and shrimp cocktail with the spicy cocktail sauce! However, a few of the main dishes could use a bit of work. The Cubano was on the dry side, the omelette could’ve used more seasoning, and the chorizo breakfast tacos lacked the bold flavors you’d expect. Despite that, it’s a fantastic spot for bottomless mimosas and Bloody Marys, with a lively atmosphere. Worth a visit for the vibes alone and bottomless drinks but I would move on for a meal after that.
What’s a shame about this restaurant is that it could be incredible! But unfortunately despite the lovely view, the service and food were not great. Especially considering the cost. I ordered the crème brûlée oatmeal with the grapefruit with ripe fruit and received plain oatmeal (not the crème brûlée) and it was dry. See pics, and waitress forgot or didn’t look at her notes that I had ordered it. My friends ordered the avocado salad and eggs Benedict. The salad was good, the Benedict were overdone and of course the waitress gave it with potatoes despite the fact that we had asked grits. And so she had to return with a new plate. What’s odd is that it wasn’t busy, most of the waitresses were standing around the bar area. So we don’t really know why it took so long. I arrived at 9;55 got one coffee, then she returned when my friends arrived at 10:45 and asked if I wanted a refill. Then we got out meals around 11:40 after ordering at 10:55 ( I know the time as breakfast ended at 11:00 before brunch. ) in the end, we were really disappointed. We always go to Cobalt but wanted to try this out. I guess we’ll continue giving our hard earned money to the Competitor. I do not recommend this place.
We went for 25th anniversary dinner and could not have been happier with our experience. The dining room wasn’t packed so didn’t have noise issues noted in other posts. Our waiter David was attentive, knowledgeable and professional and kind. We enjoyed the Seafood paella and the Gloria Chicken. Everything was excellent. The dining room overlooks the pool with a distant ocean view. Outside there’s a bar and tables but will try that in the cooler months. The menu is a nice change of pace compared to other Vero restaurants. David was kind enough to bring us a complimentary dessert despite us telling him we were gilled. Thanks David and our wonderful hostess for making our evening memorable

We stopped in for lunch because of its great rating. The atmosphere is attractive and clean. There is seating indoors and out. Unfortunately, I sat on one of the benches which was uncomfortably high compared to the chairs and my legs were squeezed by the table. Both of us ordered gyros. Mine was Greek and she got the Falafel. Mine was ok, but I’ve had better. The side salad was adequate but I’m not a fan of breaded fries. The service was good enough but I don’t think we’re coming back.
Real greek food. Huge portions and friendly staff. We had an amazing experience and we would 100% go again. Love it!!
We walked in and were unsure if we were supposed to stand there to be seated or seat ourselves. The ladies I assumed worked there were busy talking to other customers. when she was free, she asked if we were dining in or taking out. We decided to dine in. kind of small seating area nothing exciting to look at. Where we were sat we had a straight line view to the dessert display case. The server was friendly, forgot a couple things but nothing major. We ordered calamari and falafel appetizers. Calamari was average nothing spectacular however, they get points for having tentacles and rings and not all rings and it looks battered and fried in house. The falafel were delicious , nice size and very pleasant to eat. My friend ordered the shrimp dish. I tried souvlaki for the first time. It was flavorful. I don't have any other to compare it to so it passes in my book. The Tzatziki was so dang good, I thought about ordering some to take home. The greek potatoes were good and the salad was huge. Nice place to eat. Next time I'm in Vero beach, I know I have a place to get good greek.

My son and I enjoyed a delicious dinner. We sat on the patio. This is probably one of the more upscale restaurants in vero beach. It is only 2 blocls from the beach. My grouper with lump crab and Burre blanc was delicious. The crab fritters were a great texture and good flavor. My son had the Ahi and he seemed to enjoy it. Rachel who brought out our dishes was very kind. Next time I am in Florida we will probably come back and eat here.
Great Food and service. Our server Brian took time to explain dishes, get answers from the kitchen on possible preparations, and made helpful suggestions. The food was top notch, a swordfish special prepared nut free and a brined pork chop that was possibly the best Ive ever eaten. Nice wine list as well with a good selection of wines by the glass. We will be back.
This was one of my favorite restaurants. Upscale in all ways. The service was top notch and the staff was very attentive. Never did you have an empty glass or a dirty plate or cutlery in front of you. The restaurant was immaculate. The atmosphere was relaxing and cozy. The drinks were very nicely presented and glassware was spotless, which is important to note the fine details. This leads to the quality of the food. All six meals and appetizers were made of fresh ingredients and the meats were cooked perfectly and to order. The oysters, scallops, stead, and pork chops were a big hit with our group. The plates were hot when the food came out and the presentation was professional. After dinner we were presented with an assortment of desserts. The cheesecake was perfect as well as the flourless cake, so rich and smooth. I would highly recommend this restaurant. We left with a goodby from our server and mangers and that was a nice way to end the experience. Thank you to everyone at The Tides, you have a fine restaurant that will be around for many decades to come.

A very picturesque bar and seafood pub, tucked into a dockside setting with outdoor seating and a nice view of the Indian River and bridge in the background. The food was good. The service was friendly. The portions were a bit on the small side for my tastes, but as a tourists I tend not to focus so much on the little things, and appreciate the entirety of the experience. This place is worth the experience.
Went with our car group today. 30+ people. Food was great . service was great. Nice place! Not too fancy but relaxing. The mahi sandwich . The French dip. & the fries and coleslaw were good . Fish was generous sized & well cooked( blackened)
The food was decent, although my fish and chips could have been better. The fish was undercooked. I think the dish is normally really good. The flavor was great, not too greasy, battered just right. Fries were perfect, and the coleslaw was also good. We will give it another shot soon.

This is my second time here. The first time I ordered the raw Oysters and that was fresh and tasty Virginia oysters. This time I ordered the fried grouper sandwich, which cost $22. I was expecting an actual fillet, or at least a nice piece of one fir that price. What I got was sorely disappointing. More breading than fish, it was so thinly sliced it didn't even cover the bun. The fish was the same size as the tomato. While I don't like giving bad reviews, I felt obligated to call out the cook/chef for producing such a poor quality product that doesn't represent the brand of this restaurant. The server and manager were awesome and agreed this is not typical. So if you order this meal, make sure you are getting what you paid for. Pics included to illustrate my point. But kudos for the waitress and manager. Back to school for the cook.
Amazing location, beautiful view of the ocean. Live music, delicious food, very good service. Access to the beach, chairs on the patio with a view to the ocean and you can enjoy it while having a drink and listening to live music. Sports fans have a lot of tv’s to enjoy the games. Dog friendly program.
Mulligans Beach House was okay. We ordered chicken nachos to start. The for entrees we got the lobster roll, chicken tenders with fries and a salad. The service was ok. Could have been better if it was faster. The area is mostly comprised of the older crowd. The food flavor was ok but nothing to rave about. Overall it was a positive experience but I’m probably not returning. If you’re in Vero Beach and want to check it out, go for it. Maybe you’ll love it.

Great food, staff was friendly. Donna was awesome. Love the ford pick up truck inside. You get your food from the “pick up window”. Good vibes
Our waiter was also our bartender when we first arrived. He was so enthusiastic and friendly. His recommendations were spot on. My son and I both had the snapper. Get the angel hair. It's amazing. The winner of the night was the baked bacon. It was delicious. The ocean views and ambiance are great. This would be a good place for a date or dinner with family and friends. Son appetite!
Lovely atmosphere, right on the ocean. I ordered the special which was grilled salmon on a salad. They left the skin on the salmon so it tasted a little fishy and there wasn't much to the salad. Sorry, I wish I could give a 5 star review.

Hope took great care of us and attended to our every need. We opted for the outside seating and were very comfortable. The Samon was easily some of the best I've ever eaten which I enjoyed with the Ceaser Salad and Sangria. My wife had the Chicken Picata and absolutely raved about it. I highly recommend the Scampi Grille!! We'll be back soon.
We love this place! If you’re in the mood for a great Italian cuisine, make a reservation! They often have early bird specials and a creative “daily specials” menu. Of course, the standard menu offers many options you are sure to enjoy! Great atmosphere! Great service! Great food!
Love the interior. All the food was great and the service was excellent. Stand outs were the bruschetta, ravioli, chicken francesca, risotto, and the tiramisu. Nothing was bad though, everything was delicious. The wine list was big and seemed to be priced reasonably well but I didnt order wine. I want to eat here again to try more of their dishes!

Very nice themed breakfast spot here in Vero Beach! Love how every the place is decorated with car memorabilia such as license plates and old school business plaques. The menu was inside two licensed plates which was very nice touch! I had the Dixie Highway which consisted of two medium eggs, home fries, and smoked ham with some orange juice. My father had the Mechanic’s Favorite. His consistent of scrambled eggs, home fries, two sausage links and some biscuits. Service was great, can’t complain.
WOW, Yummy, Fun! We ate a Yummy breakfast here with the FUN, Fast & Entertaining Stingray. She checked back on us a couple of times, entertained us with her quick wit. The food was Delicious the atmosphere was geared towards Filling Stations- FUN! THANK YOU!!
Its like walking onto another world with the different car parts on display. Don t be fooled the food was great and served fast and hot. The menu was two different license plates with the menu clipped between, nice.

Not only does this restaurant have an outstanding menu but the service is fabulous and the view of the runway is a sweet bonus. My husband liked the fried green tomatoes and patty melt. My sister-in-law liked her patty melt and mac and cheese. My father-in-law's Colorado burger smelled amazing. My California salad was huge and very tasty. I look forward to returning when we come back to the area.
Everything was great. Great variety of food for all tastes. The Natural Salad was delish and enough for 2 or 3 people. Steaks were delicious as well as the pasta and the veggy burger. Some desserts are included with your meal and they are tasty! About the Atmosphere, The music was a bit too loud in order to be able to have a normal conversation. Our waitress was great.
It was so well worth it to eat the delicious Coconut Fried Shrimp with the marmalade sauce! It's an iconic place with a nice view of the runway. A thumbs up too for the friendly and knowledgeable staff at the restaurant.

Hands down, Very chill, calm atmosphere. It’s hard to see & find! It’s in the 17th street plaza. I found it by accident, but am glad I did! Decor was simple-yet contemporary. Went for lunch and enjoyed the Cuban Sandwich and soup. Started with a cauliflower soup which I must say was very tasty. Cuban sandwich with a twist-plantain spread on it, side of macaroni salad which wakes up the taste buds with its zest, also a side of unconventional coleslaw, Very good! I have no complaints. Service was great, Stacey as my server. Was told they close at 2:30-5:00 open back up for dinner. Will definitely go again! Thank you for the twist!
Incredible food in a beautiful space created by Chef Michael. We had the crab cake and the burrata appetizers and the scallop special for dinner. The food was amazing and the staff was absolutely lovely. This is a gem I highly recommend!
Got take out twice this week from River Twist. The service is great. The food is outstanding! The 1st day we had the BLTE absolutely excellent comes with great sides. The next day, we had the chicken flat bread. Rivertwist It's a great little hideaway in Vero Beach beach. Excellent food, give them a try you will not be disappointed!

This place is incredible! The decor was AMAZING! They have it completely decked out for Halloween right now! The ambiance lighting is so fun and colorful! We all had different things for entrees and we all left so full and unable to stop talking about our meals! Between the incredibly fresh fish and savory sauces, to the perfectly cooked steak and the ridiculously tasty stuffed mushrooms, we will be recommending this place to everyone. We can't wait to come back for our next beach getaway vacation!
Great food and staff. The place is slightly dated but that adds to the charm along with the history and location. We had a steak and panko crusted red snapper (Oscar style) and they were both very good. The Baked Brie was good as well. We both ordered cocktails, which were not that good. The old fashioned tasted like watered down bitters but I won’t hold that against them. Everything else tasted and looked great. Will return when we’re in the area.
Delightful! A wonderful florida experience with ocean views, happy vibes, excellent food, delicious drinks and gracious service. Lots of party decor for Halloween.

Bobbi Jo, my server was absolutely amazing and fun. I sat outside on the deck and I had a beautiful seafood gumbo that you actually had to eat with a fork because the shrimp and the scallops were huge. I also had a side salad with blue cheese dressing, and coconut shrimp with an apricot glaze that was amazingly delicious
I have to say that the Green Marlin is one of our favorite spots for lunch. My husband insists they have the best French onion soup. The service is always good and the food is consistent. If you do have an issue, they will make it sure to make things right for you. My only wish is that they would start carrying High Noons (any citrus would be great) I'm definitely a big fan of their muscles and if you ask for their burger menu, you will find some tasty options. Pictured are the szechwan shrimp app, the French onion soup, and their mahi tacos.
As someone that can’t really eat shellfish - I feel guilty reviewing the Green Marlin, but the rest of my table LOVED the shrimp! All was not lost, as the chicken was really great as well, and the tuna poké nachos were a huge hut. This was a quick lunch stop on a sightseeing day, and our server was fantastic. Everything was quick, hot, fresh, and delicious. The happy hour drink specials were almost enough to keep us all there for an afternoon - but would repeat here for sure!

Food was great. Service was decent... wouldn't stop me from coming back. The restaurant itself is an open concept. Gets loud when full. Cool outside back patio on the water to offer a different experience. The crap cake was phenomenal and the hot honey wings where a must.
A very cute place tucked into a shopping plaza. There’s an outdoor seating area along side river docks. The waitress was extremely friendly and attentive. The food was good. My daughter is a picky eater, but cleaned her plate.
A simple, quaint place in a strip mall in Vero Beach. The menu says it's a family-owned business. Modest, down-to-earth decor. The service was very good. Waitress was very attentive. We ordered Caribbean Rice that came in a pineapple. This stuff was very tasty. We also had clams strips, which could have been fried slightly longer for a more crispy texture. They have fresh veggies. We had potatoes and corn. Both were very good. The garlic bread was soft and tasty. I had an appetizer of Clam Chowder that while it tasted fine, it seemed similar to Campbell's canned chowder, so I'm not sure if it was house-made. Overall, it was a good meal, but it might not blow you away. We ate there on a Saturday afternoon, yet the restaurant was already out of Blue Crabs, Oysters, and Catfish. That should not happen to a seafood restaurant, especially so close to the sea.

This was a great place to eat, the food was delicious. It's a throwback from the past and still going strong. The fish dip was the best I've had in years and the coconut shrimp and the grouper sandwich along with the potato wedges were very yummy. I gave the service 3 stars, due to the server not being very attentive to our table and having to ask other waitresses for our waiter. We were there for 1.5 hours for lunch and other tables that he was serving received their food before us and they were seated after us by 20 to 30 minutes. I'm not sure if he was new or what the issue was, but with that said he was nice and very polite. I would definitely recommend you give this place a try, I'm sure you will love it!!!!
I had not been to Waldo’s since I was a kid, so when I was in town with my daughter I made sure to take her. We lucked out in a post-storm lull, and went on a week night. They still had great live music, great seaside atmosphere, and great fried seafood… just like I remembered, and loved. It’s eclectic. It’s fun. It’s friendly. As I sit in my northern suburban home, it’s exactly the kind of place I want to be back at. People overuse the word “vibe” but if you want a Florida seaside bar vibe? Waldo’s is what you are looking for!
A great day to chill out here. Happy hour is going on. Good food, great service. Prices are alright. Definitely family orientated. Bathrooms are clean. Go ahead and check them out on the weekends. Also great music.
