Best Restaurants Open for Newyears Eve this year in Vermilion – 2024

Fresh, Delicious and generous amount of Food. Actually this is the most served food for a Chinese restaurant I ever been, I wished other restaurant do the same.

It was very fast and easy ordering for pickup, good customer service. The food was good, the ginger beef was perfect and the wonton soup was really good. Sadly my favourite sweet and sour pork did not come with enough sauce but overall it was very tasty would eat here again!

This place!!!! Best chinese food experience, price, taste, and value for $$$.. I have to drive 50km to get it, but the difference in gas still comes in cheaper than my home town place and the quality of their food at Swan is Wayyyyy above!.. this meal i have shown (dinner for 5) feeds 3 of us for 2.5 days! And no our plates are never small plus all soups were included... Well worth the drive to Vermillion for their product!!

Nice local coffee and snack shop, offers various health products as well. Coffee was okay but they have a weird rule of coffee cup size as when I asked for a large cappuccino the lady told me she can’t do that as her machine works with bla bla bla .. I ended up by ordering 2 cappuccinos to fit a large one .. atmosphere and decorations are nice and welcoming

Quaint local spot with good selection. Unique touch with fresh farm eggs sold here. Cup size restriction and higher prices was a little bit if a surprise.

Amazing coffee and delicious food. Gorgeous and cute cafe in Vermilion. Extremely friendly staff and owner. Would highly recommend stopping by whenever you're in Vermilion. Wish we had this cafe in Lloyd. Mema and H

What a lovely hidden gem! We stopped by for a glass of wine and charcuterie board on their beautiful patio. All of their delicious cheeses are made in house. You can also purchase some on your way out!

We are so lucky to have such a shop in our town! The variety of cheeses and other locally made goods they have available is really wonderful and the service and passion for their craft is excellent. Our farm partnered with the Cheesery to make custom snack packages and they were an absolute hit and Val had them ready so quickly.

This is a really unique place; take the 2-hour drive from Edmonton and have yourself a wine tasting with locally made cheese. The owners and staff are really wonderful people. And make sure you take some Caraway cheddar cheese home delicious!

This was a quaint little place, not busy at the time we were there, service was great from start to finish. Our meals were good except we ordered from the senior menu and one was a regular meal. Food was good and hot and plenty to fill you up. The menu prices are on the higher side. Worth a try for sure.

Stopped and got pizza on my way through and it's fantastic pizza for the price! Friendly waitress/bartender and pretty standard small town lounge

I ordered full order of veal cutlets, it arrived with olive oil spreading around the plate. Started in at it and was unable to keep eating. Talked with staff and was told. They could try again, I was out of time and was not able and maybe willing to try again. I asked my waitress if I could pay for a half ordered as I did eat half of it. And she didn't spell English and was unable to talk back with me. The the head waitress come out yelling at me passing back and forth, then even yelling she was calling the cops and she would have to pay the difference out of her own money, then said the own says you pay. I told her that I did want to talk to him. But he was not there. Can't believe I was bullied by her to pay. When I was being fair with paying at all. Half order is only 5$ less. I've gone back left my name and number and have received no call back. Other that waitress has not given it to him or the care is shown.

The food just wasn't good. I really like Mexican food. There was hardly any flavor. My meal was supposed to come with beans, but I didn't get any. The chips were over cooked, rice had no flavor. The salsa just tasted like tomato paste. My meal was over $30. This place is not for me.

Wonderful atmosphere, the gentleman working there made some suggestions and I was not disappointed. I had the Queso Fundido Con Chorizo as an appetizer and it was delicious. I than had Quesabirria and that was delicious as well. Also had the Cafe de Olla (coffee) was the first time I had coffee without sugar and cream. 100% would recommend this place and everyone should at least eat here once. You won't be disappointed

The food was very good with good service. The flautas were really good (I hope you can tell for the half eaten picture). I loved the quesabirria tacos (second picture) they were delicious after seeing them on tiktok I knew I had to try them. The beef tacos were also really good. The flan was also very yummy. However, the portion sizes are small but you could try multiple different items and was decently priced per portion. Will be coming back to try other items :)

Ordered hot and sour soup.. Was pretty good.. appeared to be canned mushrooms , i may be wrong but i much preferred fresh in soup.. overall is a great serving of soup and very tasteful.. only glitch is my kid said the cashier gave him a dirty look as he didn't leave a tip for a 7$ soup... I hope that wasnt the case.. but will definitely buy from here again as food is good quality...

Stopped here for lunch on way home from Edmonton to Saskatchewan. Ordered beef n greens, sweet n sour pork and chow mein. It came quickly. Was piping hot and delicious and huge portions. We both stuffed ourselves and left with 3 full containers of left overs. The place could use a coat of paint and re fresh but it was the best Chinese food I’ve had in a long time. Will definitely stop in our travels again.

Seriously love this place. Order from here all the time. They have an awesome selection and wide variety of pizzas. Never thought I'd try certain ones. But I'm never disappointed when I try a new pizza here. Tropical Hawaiian is amazing, I could keep listing good pizzas. But I'm just getting hungry.

First 2 pizzas were amazing, next 4 were terrible! One was burnt, one was missing toppings, the salami wasn't pizza salami anymore but peppercorn salami & not underneath the cheese so it was burnt to a crisp. First donar was amazing, next 2 were terrible; missing toppings, wrong meat and missing toppings so this time I decided to call. Delivery driver came picked up the wrong donars & brought 2 more back saying they had been remade but they hadn't; some toppings had been removed & some added but the pita's were the original ones as I had placed 2 blue dots on each which the remade ones came back with so they were so soggy the donars fell apart. Bad business; save a few cents but now lost a customer. 11 yr old boy said 'frozen pizzas are better' Update: main delivery driver allows his dogs & cats to climb all over the delivery bags & food. Whines ppl don't tip enough and that the business isn't paying him. Doesn't wash his hands or delivery bags yet claims he has c-diff & isn't seeking medical treatment for something very contagious & caused by fecal matter.

I got the donair pizza, it was fantastic. Delivery was great.

Spent alot on food but burgers were cooked so much was basically a hockey puck. She looked like she was annoyed we came and ordered. Poutine was good tho

Wing night wings were fantastically cooked, bartender was great, the place is a little dark and damp feeling, kind of like a dungeon. Great place overall though.

I’d give it ZERO stars if that was possible. This place is horrendous. It’s ducking disgusting (yes I noticed that the word was spelt incorrectly, more likely to be accepted by google) dirty and if you aren’t a local, well chances that you are accepted I to the atmosphere is VERY low. Don’t even waste your time. The place is worse than an old cow barn turned into a bar with 100x the rules. So go and drink rufied drinks at your own risk and make sure you go in a group of at least 10, to avoid issues with the locals.

We have celebrated our simple Silver Wedding Anniversary lunch on this location as they opened at 11am and was speechless on the food that we ordered cooked by Chef Vishnu and served by his wife Miss Divina. I tried their steak and prawns then my wife grab their cordon bleu. There is nothing left on the plate after 25mins for they cooked and served our orders that every bite we truly enjoyed. A must try, worth every cent to spend place to have a healthy meal.

Your typical small town restaurant, but the food was fresh and delicious, really good for a smaller center and better than half the stuff you find in the city. Thanks for the great meal and will visit again!

My coworkers and I came here for a birthday supper and many of us said that their meals were the best they’ve ever had. Highly recommend the Dijon salmon, grilled chicken Alfredo, pad tai, and chicken cordon blue. We did not reserve a spot, so food took little longer but was WELL worth the wait. After tax,tip and drink it’s around $20-$30 with some exceptions. Best restraint in vermillion by far.

Too loud for the two of us to have a conversation. Sound bounced off the walls and ceiling. Sounded like a packed bus station. No, I have been in nicer bus stations when it comes to to noise. Something is needed to kill the echoes. Not just a BP issue, many restaurants and coffee shops have a lack of sound deadening materials. It might be to save money during construction.

Boston pizza is usually a save bet for simple food! We ordered our usuals but it came cold (pizza crust hard and Cactus cut chips were more like kettle chips they were so hard) and we sent back one of our dips as it tasted like it had turned (rotten) and they brought us a new one and it also tasted the same. so not the best experience at the many Boston pizzas we visit.

Couldn’t believe my eyes when I went to use the facilities and was graced by one of the largest Nigerian sponge logs I’ve ever seen on my life in the urinal. Food was still frozen and cost more than I think is appropriate

I came with a couple friends and we all enjoyed our meals. I had the coconut lime chicken curry which was really good! Service however wasn't good. After the waitress gave us our food we did not see her again until it was time to pay, and we had to wait awhile before she appeared. There were 4 other people in the restaurant.

Came on a Sunday long weekend evening with my girlfriend when it was almost completely empty. Service was fast considering they only had 2 employees working. Food was very good, I had the hot wings which were very crispy and tasty and the coconut chicken bowl which I loved the sauce for. My girlfriend had the strip loin with fries, the steak was cooked wonderfully and the fries were not bad either. Prices are very fair for food quality and portion sizes. I will definitely be visiting again if I’m ever around vermillion.

We have been coming here fairly regularly for the past couple years, it has a wonderful, relaxed atmosphere, we never feel rushed to leave after enjoying our meal. As with most restaurants they have suffered at times with inconsistent front of house . The kitchen has been consistent, the food has been good. The issue isn’t the quality or quantity of the food , it is that in over two years the menu has not changed, we have literally eaten the menu at least once, we have been going to other restaurants just to increase the variety. The kitchen has proven to be able to be consistent so let them flex their culinary skills and change up the menu. Not everything needs to be taken out though to keep less diehard customers than us coming back there needs to be change.

Stopped in for a quick snack on the road. Ordered poutine with easy cheese curds and extra. There was like maybe 3 curds, which cool ok, but barely and fries or gravy. Went back and the staff put in some gravy. The gravy was burnt and extra salty. Dont recommend.

Service was slow. I was the only customer inside at the counter to order and it took nearly 10 min to have my order taken. Seems all fast food restaurants prioritize their drive through lines instead of the customers that go inside. Very disappointing that it's gone this way. If someone can't be bothered to get out of their vehicles to go inside then they should be the ones to wait.

Ordered a burger and onion rings. Burger was cold for the second time in 2 days of ordering them. Onions rings were not edible. Foul smell of used foul smelling fryer grease. Tried to eat a bit of the onion ring coating and that was it for the onion rings. Always had good food here in the past but recently has went downhill fast. Food quality has really slipped.
