They have a wonderful location with a lively bar area and wonderful views of the water ways and Mare Island. The food is always dependable, but not spectacular. But with that said I have been here many times and will go again. The service is always great. They’ve got a wonderful group of folks working there. It’s a great spot to dine at before or after getting your wine fix at Vino Godfather on Mare Island.

We had a great view by the water. Food was delicious. Nice ambience. I had the Chicken Parm...and my husband had Gnocchi Pesto & added Salmon. Ashley was awesome! Professional, courteous and made some great drinks. I would definitely recommend Zio Fraedos.

This place is amazing we gave our mothers 79th birthday party on a short notice the owner Sherry made it happen for us. Just wanted to say thank you again for your services.

I have been coming here for nearly two years when I visit my friend every month. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the food is delicious and everything tastes fresh! We usually get Salad, Minestrone Soup, Raviolis and a Mediterranean Pizza and it comes with garlic bread, so yummy!

This Prime Rib was ordered at 8pm. There is only a one size option at $25.99 comes with two side choices. It's a good roasted Prime Rib and the raw horseradish was kickin! Service was good just don't be afraid to ask.

We stopped here on the way to Napa to grab an easy breakfast. The food is classic diner style but definitely better than most diners I’ve been to. There also a touch of Latin inspiration in the food which is great. The portions are huge, much more than we could eat and the prices are around $15 per plate. The service was fast and friendly. I’d recommend coming here!

The staff is both welcoming and prompt in their service, which is always a plus in any dining establishment. I recommend their chicken fried steak, which is my standard breakfast in any diner. My wife especially loves their chicken sausage omelet with spinach, mushrooms, and avocado. Food service is quick and on point, plus they're always efficient in refills for your coffee. Try them out, and they won't disappoint, highly recommended

Small little place, the food was Soooooo Delishious!!!! Great service from our server, food came fast. The shrimp and grits we're amazing. My daughter loved the linguiça and eggs. The potatoes are super flavorful. Will definitely come and visit here again next time I come to Vallejo to visit.

I said I was in a hurry. Ordered hash browns plus a biscuit and gravy. I asked to pay the bill ahead of time so I could leave when done eating. She said "everything will be a la carte is that okay?" Yes. I was given the receipt (pictured here) which didn't explain line items, just a total and a line for tip. I thought it was high at $28 but as I said I was in a hurry. Paid with generous tip. Waitress later served me a plate of hash browns and a whole order of biscuits (4 halves) and gravy. I told her I only ordered one. How is a full order a la carte? She got another waitress. Told her the same thing. They just stared at me like "And?!" Neither offered to fix the problem or my bill. So I reiterated that I only ordered one and please give the leftovers to a needy person when I leave. I took one biscuit onto my plate and left the rest. What else can a customer do at that point? Bill was already paid. The right response would have been to take away the dish, slide 1 biscuit onto a plate, and fix my bill. Instead I paid for a waitress error and they likely threw the food in the trash. Food was normal diner food. The more I think back about it, the more I feel taken advantage of. Also, how in the world is the price $28? That's wild.

Breakfast on Dec 24, so my wife and I hit this restaurant for brunch while in Vallejo for my birthday. It was packed, but we were seated within 5 minutes and presented with coffee while we perused the menu. I was excited about cheese grits, and my Wife wanted the cinnamon biscuit with cream cheese frosting. We then ordered the Tex-Mex scramble and the pork chop breakfast. Seriously, MORE food than we thought and was better than expected... except the cold, lumpy cheese grits. Photos can't do the description properly, but 2 bites was all I could suffer. The scramble had to be 5-6 eggs with the appropriate mix-ins and potatoes, piled with cheese, cilantro, salsa, and black beans. Her 2 pork chops were enormous, and she could only eat a partial one, but she did eat her entire biscuit! The service was prompt until our food arrived, then almost non-existent as we had only the original of coffee and ZERO water to suffice until the bill was delivered. Yes, they were swamped with customers, but I feel they're used to it, so why stop?! Will I return? Maybe, but they have to fix the grits situation and offer better service once the food has been delivered.

A must! Owners are 4 sisters Try the Ox tails and rice, so so good.. The Curry beef, yesss ‍♀️baby Some of the desserts ,carrot cake, black velvet cake, Chocolate lava cake with ice cream. All Made Fresh daily. Going back to try more goodies on the Menu.

Please support black owned businesses in Vallejo. The owners are affable and knowledgeable about food cuisine. The types of foods are an electic mix of Caribbean, California, and Mexico. The food is fresh and authentic and full of flavor. I would savory every bit of morsel in my mouth as my sense of taste created a picturesque feeling of a bit of heavenly goodness. The restaurant has a warm an inviting atmosphere. You can have a cocktail nestled by the fireplace looking out the window gazing at the artistic views of downtown. The chef is exciting and innovative and is always creating another masterpiece. This place reminds me of cocinas I have visited during my visit to Mexico and Cuba. Next time you are out and want to try a new restaurant, then go ahead and give this place a visit.

My wife and have lived in Vallejo for nearly 18years, we have been looking for an excellent soul food place and we found it. Urban Cocina food is cook with love its in the taste. THE BEST SOUL FOOD restaurant in Vallejo, CHECK IT OUT. And its cozy with nice jazz and R&B music. Oh by the way nice people too.

We were searching for a great poutine, and found it! We also tried the broccoli, bacon Mac and the blue-cheese burger… And finished with the apple crisp. I didn’t realize that we would not be seated at the table and served, you do order at a counter when you arrive and then walk over to a different counter to pick up your food. No big deal, just didn’t know that before going

This is an unplanned visit but turns out to be a good time here. This taproom gave a friendly and cozy place for you while waiting for the ferry. Beers are good, fish chips is good especially the chips tasted wonderful. Family friendly as I can see many families with younger kids here.

Great beer selection and small bites co-located to the ferry in Vallejo. The bar bite are excellent as are the views. The fries are a must!

Came in with the family for lunch on a Sunday. It was busy, but we didn't have to wait to be seated. We had the fried cheese to start, which was delicious. We had 3 entrees a ravioli, a scampi, and a tour of Italy platter. All were great and a generous portion. The service was good. It did take a bit for our entrees to come out, but that gave us time to get a second on soup and salad.

Can never go wrong with Olive Garden. Was a little disappointed to see my pasta did not have as much sauce as it used to. As far as dessert, the Italian doughnuts are THE BEST!

The pasta is delicious, very nice place to eat with the family. The bread sticks with butter were amazing. The service was on point.

Same great food but since this past December they're at a new location! This is DEFINITELY an upgrade from the original spot at least 3x bigger than the old location. You can also take in scenic views of the water while enjoying your meal - it's reminiscent of waterfront restaurants in Oakland/Alameda and the San Leandro Marina (except it's not as cold in Vallejo). The ferry port is just a short walk from the restaurant. A few people came fishing on the dock while we were there. Brought my dad here for his birthday and Mora did an amazing job in making sure we enjoyed the experience! When she realized she'd brought the wrong salad to our table she came and apologized for the mistake and wanted to make it right. When we told her it was fine she went ahead and sent us home with the salad we did order. Steak was cooked perfectly. Chilean sea bass was also amazing! Salmon was done right too. This service was something I hadn't seen for a while and was quite refreshing! After finding out we were celebrating my dad's birthday she had the live band (yes they also have a live band now and a full bar) play happy birthday for him. We'll definitely be back and with the size of this new location, hosting parties here is also an option now. If you're in the area definitely stop by!

I have tried both the new and old locations now and the food is good but nothing to write home about. My partner and I both ordered the rib eye cooked the same, and he literally chewed up and had to spit out 1/3 of the meat, but mine was great. The server was nice but he kept complaining about how busy it was and then apologizing. The first 5-10 minutes we were ignored and you could tell the servers were debating on whose table we were sat at… then the male server said in the annoyed tone “ I guess I’ll be your server then.” I would give it one more chance based on the lack of options for a nice meal with a view in Vallejo.

My only complaint is that it was a little hot in the restaurant, but it was a very warm day. Food was good ordered the surf and turf and ahi tuna appetizer both were great choices. I can’t complain.

A large selection of local craft beers on-tap and an incredible selection of local beers in the can. Delicious food menu to compliment the beer. Indoor seating and a comfortable outdoor patio. The owner is very friendly and knows her beer. On-street parking. The beer and food menu are changed up on Thursdays to keep things fresh. Definitely a great addition to the Vallejo pubs

Super good! They allow dogs on the patio. They have a doggie plate of broccoli and chicken.. little water bowls for dogs. I got the veggie Mac and cheese it had tomatoes and broccoli in it, very scrumptious. We ordered a chicken sandwich and it was fried to perfection. The French fries on the side were crunchy with a side of ranch. We had a good time, we will be back! The lady up front was so great

My husband and I came here without knowing much. We saw beer and 4.9 star review on google so we hopped in the car - I’m so glad we did! As soon as we entered we were greeted by the owner (we assume, she had that vibe!) and given a rundown of the options for food and beer. We ordered at the counter and headed out back to a great porch area with seating, heat lamps, and greenery! We sipped on delicious beer while we waited for our food to come out while we listened to an amazing eurodance soundtrack over the speakers. The vibe was so chill and cool, and there were clearly regulars present! Overall the beer was a knock out with so many amazing local options, everyone will be satisfied. We also loved love loved the food. It’s like bar food but even better. We split the pulled pork Mac and cheese which was so yummy and satisfying. We also split a pretzel with beer cheese that was just perfect. All in all I highly recommend this place!

We were visting the Vallejo area to see Mare Island and stopped in for lunch. I thought I knew good BBQ, but WOW. Many places say smoked for 9 hours and they prove it with sawdust ribs. Gracie's ribs are moist, tender, lean and TASTY. They have excellent smoked flavor. The corn bread has corn pieces and is moist too. The green beans had good flavor. The chili is very meaty with several bean types. The swamp juice was good and the tea was was very flavorful! Best ice tea ever! Worth the trip to Vallejo!

This is AUTHENTIC BBQ! Probably the best I have had! We ordered the hot link sandwich and pulled pork sandwich which were amazing!!! Strawberry lemonade so refreshing. The atmosphere was clean, fresh, and modern. The staff was on point! Can’t wait to come again!

Great BBq! Sweet Tea has perfect sweetness and pairs well with the savory barbecue meats. Sausage was spiced well, and meat is tender, juicy, and flavorful. Great value as well! Will definitely go again!

This is a quaint little restaurant in Vallejo with a warm and welcoming staff and atmosphere. It can be a little crowded inside but the patio area is more enjoyable and relaxing. We ordered the fried chicken sandwich, avocado toast, and a delicious appetizer i forgot the name but it was the best dish

Love the atmosphere, overall design, and feel of the restaurant. We were seated immediately upon arrival. The staff there were attentive and helpful. I had the bottomless mimosas, summer toast (seasonal item), and chicken and waffles. This was my second visit.

Great restaurant for Vallejo and fun atmosphere. The cheese curds were delicious!!! The wagyu burger was a little lacking; two pickle slices and three onion rounds??? (I do love my raw onion so I may be a little biased) could punch up the flavor a bit but the fries and salad were phenomenal. The wallpaper in the bathroom though!!! Def superior bay vibes. The desserts were good too. My girl is vegan and had plenty to choose from which helped.

My brother and I had the pleasure of having dinner here on Sunday, which featured the 7 course menu. The vibe was really chill and laid back. The service was phenomenal and very personable. The flavor of the food was so good, and there was a hint of complexity. We spent time trying to figure out the seasonings or ingredients that made everything so good. For this type of meal, you are getting it at a lesser price than you would in other cities. Definitely try it out.

The most unpretentious high end dining experience in the area. The venue is quaint with seating for about 20. Great choice of music playing softly in the background. I loved the husband/wife team approach. They seem to have the timing of everything really dialed in. They were both very pleasant and took turns serving the guests. The food was very good although the cheese plate with a huge slab of brioche bread was not my favorite course. My favorite dish was the morel with caviar. I also really enjoyed the carbonated pears. I recommend that you give it a shot. I will most likely dine there again.

I know it’s a high-end restaurant with fancy, tiny dishes, but honestly, we spent over a hundred dollars per person, and none of us feel satisfied. I understand it’s about the experience, but at least make sure guests are satisfied, right? We were all still hungry afterward… why not increase portion or add more food , ugh.

Food is retro. Service is amazing and friendly. View is unbeatable. A classic spot, even though the prices are out of control. $32 seafood Louie salad w bay shrimp and crab. 6 years ago it was $20.95 so that's a full 50% increase.

We enjoyed this marina restaurant. We sat inside with a better view. The food was great. Fish galore. I had a spinach salad. Hubby had fish and chips. Lovely atmosphere. Recommend and would go again. Moderately priced. Kobe burgers I think.

We had the combo rice pilaf, fish n chips and the crab sandwich. I had the rice pilaf combo and I didn't like it. It was a lot of food but it was lacking in flavor. I didn't eat it. My hubby shared his fish and chips and that has been the best fish and chips I've had in a delicious! It was light and crispy but not oily and had great flavor. I also tried a couple of bites of the crab sandwich and it was so delicous! The service was great and friendly. I'm only giving it 3 stars because I didn't like my dish.

Best case of mistaken identity ever! I walked in mistaking it for Vallejo Brewing Company right after they closed for the night, but the menu was so enticing I had to come back during business hours! The red beans and rice with Cajun shrimp is an INSTANT comfort food go-to, and not to start drama, but a certain barbecue place on the block could learn a thing or two about making amazing cornbread from this chef! The perfect, fresh baked, sweet and buttery portion of cornbread I've had since my mom's recipe. The $7 cocktail special was also amazing, not too powerful but not so watered down you couldn't feel it! The gal working the counter was sweet as can be both times I've been in as well. I can't wait to bring everyone I know here!

Oh my goodness exactly the type of place I was looking for to satisfy my comfort meal craving! Catfish seasoning is crazy, I know fried chicken is popular, but not everyone can fry fish to perfection, and they do that every time. I went back twice in a week for the same order. Only reason why it's not 5 stars is because they're pretty bad at answering the phone. Don't order online though, apparently they don't get the order and I had to show them I paid for them to make the food. They told me to call next time, so I called 4x to place an order, I kid you not, and then ended up just walking in just to find only 1 customer waiting. So why couldn't anyone answer the phone to place my order! lol it's okay it was worth the wait but that can be improved upon. Go check them out though, soul food that's good and not in Oakland is rare ☺️

House of Soul; a culinary masterpiece, nestled in Vallejo, is a culinary gem serving up soulful delights and satisfy the soul. I’ve been craving good soul food like my Granny used to make and House of Soul was on point. We had smothered turkey wings, black eyed peas and collard greens. The other dish was fried catfish, mashed potatoes and mac & cheese. Will definitely be back next week!

It seems to be more focused on take-out orders (we ate in). Very generous portions. Very good country fried steak. Yams and green beans were yummy. We were bummed that they were out of collard greens, but the green beans were just as tasty.

After a morning photoshoot on Mare Island I found this DIAMOND! I ordered the M.I.B.C. Burger Jr. & a Soft Pretzel with cheese sauce. The burger was amazing. The grilled onions were perfect. The fries were crispy. The pretzel was great with the cheese sauce, but the mustard they had, is a MUST try it's a honey mustard. If they had it for sale, I would have purchased a bottle. There are two pinball machines, a foosball table and two dart boards. Plenty of seats inside and outside. There was also a large projector with sports playing.

Great location on the water with lots of room to relax. The beer is excellent as always and the staff were hospitable. There was a food truck, but I don't know if it rotates or not, either way, the food I had was good...French Dip!

One of the best Breweries I been too right on the waterfront at Mare Island built in one the historical buildings with plenty of room to roam around excellent customer service with a great menu if you’re hungry for something to eat I recommend taking a walk around the neighborhood after you have your fill beautiful historical buildings to look at with a wonderful park close by
