Wharf Casual Seafood Valdosta is a vibrant and inviting dining destination that specializes in delivering a unique seafood experience. Nestled in the heart of Valdosta, Georgia,…
The experience was unique! The customer service was impeccable! The food was delicious! Portions were probably the proper size but I felt for the price they were a little small. The flavors of the blackened Destin platter were bold. Nothing bland about this food at all! However, I was not impressed with the texture of the crab cake but the flavor was fantastic. When I eat a crab cake I don't expect it to mush apart like this one did. We ordered the garlic green beans as a side and omg they were amazing! The side salad was a bag salad mix that was fancied up with some halved grape tomatoes and sliced almonds. The balsamic vinaigrette I got with the salad was perfect. All in all it was worth the visit!
Server was Amazing! Catfish was greasy. Salad was great. Honey pecan shrimp was full of flavor. Cajun shrimp and grits were just ok…. Did I mention the server was amazing.
Kind people, chill atmosphere, INCREDIBLE seafood. We had the blackened catfish, smashed potatoes, and dried green tomatoes, and the carrot cake. Everything was top notch. The fried green tomatoes alone warranted 5 stars, but every stage was progressively better at each stage. The catfish literally melted in my mouth. The flavor was strong, but not overpowering. The carrot cake tasted home made. Soft and fluffy with a decadent cream cheese icing and chopped walnuts topping. Atmosphere was a casual environment, but definitely appropriate for business casual small groups as well. The restaurant itself was easy to find with plenty of parking in a nice area of town.

The food was amazing. Staff was very nice. Love the paintings and ambiance. However, for the prices you pay, I don't expect shrimp to come with the tail on and I have to take it off. They had big flies in the window. I killed three of them. They may need some kind of bug catcher in the dinning room. Menus could be laminated cause the paper ones were covered in stains.
Food and atmosphere was lovely. James, our server was amazing. So nice and he actually ran a half a block to get my purse to me that I left behind. Great service and loved the atmosphere. Highly recommended!
This is a high-class establishment with excellent food. A must in Valdosta.

I have to tell you that the staff at Southern Shore Seafood are a bunch of really nice people! They make you feel like you're family, the kind you want to be around. It was very refreshing to actually have someone explain to you what's on the menu in detail. The food was ok but I cleaned my plate because I was hungry and it was late. I tried the alligator tail with the boom sauce and it was really delicious! My dinner entree was the Alabama catfish fingers with steak fries and macaroni and cheese. When it came out, I told the waiter I had only ordered one serving and I thought it was a mistake. The plate was overflowing with food! It was enough for two people! You'll surely get your money's worth! Plus they offer free refills on the soft drinks. I ended up taking a little over half back to my room.
I recently dined at southern shores, and it was an unforgettable experience. Everything I had to eat was terrific, specifically The hush puppies, shrimp, pollock, clam strips, and grits were the best I’ve ever tasted, all bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked. The sides and sauces, almost all handmade, added an extra layer of deliciousness to the meal. The showstopper was the sweet potato soufflé, you won’t be disappointed! The customer service was top-notch, with the managers going above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Our waitress, Breezy, was a delight—efficient, knowledgeable, and incredibly kind. Everything was reasonably priced with big portion sizes, I can't recommend this place enough. A true gem for seafood lovers! Will definitely be back :)
What can I say about this place? Clean, excellent customer service, good food, clean bathrooms. This is my first time visiting and it was a pleasant experience ☺️ We were assisted by Amarei and she was great. She has such a welcoming smile and pleasant attitude which was refreshing to see in a restaurant. The atmosphere is great I love the decorations you really feel like your eating at an ocean dock restaurant, minus the ocean... anyway I will definitely visit here again and tell my friends and family who pass through to visit. I also want to note that the entire staff was pleasant as well, if they see anyone standing around they ask if you need to be helped with a smile on their face. Great experience for this seafood market located in a strip mall.

Delicious food, excellent service! Dined here with my family on our way back home (Illinois) from Florida. We were in the mood for BBQ and this place did not disappoint! I had the baby back ribs with a side of green beans, corn on the cob and mac n cheese. Finger linking good. Our server was great. Would highly recommend!
Anytime I pass through Valdosta I always try to stop here for a bite. You can never go wrong with the salad bar but I didn't have it today. Andrew T was great ask for him if you stop by. The wings were the highlight for me today, I tried the kicking bourbon and they were 60 cents each (wed promotion). I will stop back in again down the line for sure
Came across this restaurant on the way from our trip from Florida. Do not miss the sign that says Exit 22. Food not as tasty as I expected. Loved the atmosphere and ambiance. The staff seemed quite friendly.

Not bad. Typical home fare food items. Paid $35 for wife and I. We don't eat enough to make this a regular stop but it's nice to not have to cook. Baked chicken was dry but was better that way for calories and being heart healthy ❤️. Only splurge item was what I thought was pumpkin pie ... it's a vegetable, right? Turned out to be sweet potato. Very sweet. I ate it without taking a picture. Don't keep evidence of your sins around. Lol
If you were looking for affordable food I would say this is the place to go. They definitely have a little bit of everything to offer for somebody. A lot of it is fried food but that is the spirit of southern cooking. If you were not somebody that likes fried food there are definitely other options for you as well. These smoked chicken is really good, and when they have the ribs it is definitely well worth going. I think we're certainly on the weekend though. If you want a place that has a salad bar this definitely does not disappoint. Overall we like this place a lot more than Mama June's as Mama June's is almost always only fried food. We particularly liked the grits, green beans, and potatoe salad. We didn't think the desserts were anything special. But for the price, it is great to get to try everything.
I was on vacation from Indianapolis Indiana and I can say I truly loved this place. I normally don't eat seconds but I had to ate this place and everything that me and my daughter touched was delicious.
Mom & Dad’s Italian Restaurant is a family-owned dining establishment dedicated to bringing authentic Italian cuisine to our community. Nestled in a warm and inviting…
My wife and I celebrated our anniversary here and it was a very nice experience. We were stationed at Aviano, Italy and we loved the food and the culture. We had some of the best Italian food ever. Funny cause we always laugh at the times we called Olive Garden Italian food. Anyways, I had the Linguini with Mussels and Clams and it was extremely good. I can eat that sauce all day! I’m so shocked there aren’t a lot of reviews about it because it’s so good. What really took us back was the bread with the herbs, oil and vinaigrette. We def asked for more! My wife had the Tortellini and for desert we share the tiramisu which was delicious. The waitress and other servers were very nice. Overall it was great and I would def go back. One dish I wish they had was seafood risotto or just risotto in general.
The service and atmosphere were great. But the food was really bad. It was totally overrated and didn’t taste authentic at all. Even the tiramisu was not fresh. I’ve never seen a tiramisu decorated with a mint leaf.
It’s been at least 20 years since we’ve been to Mom and Dad’s. We ordered the Chicken Florentino and it was exceptional. The portion size filled is up and our server Jalissa was so nice and proficient. We look forward to coming back real soon. It was also nice to see Massimo and equally nice that he took the time to talk with us.

Perfect place for a nice date night. The food was amazing, the service was great and the atmosphere was perfect. The fishes we had were so authentic, it feels greek indeed. The ice cream was really good too.
I'm only giving them 2 stars because it's a family owned little mom and pop place but the food wasn't good at all and the house isn't kept nice and clean either. It smells like a nursing home My meal was suppose to come with the salad but I still got charged an extra 7$ for something I didn't eat because it was soggy I saw the reviews for the spinach pie saying it was good but I literally couldn't take more then a bite If your standards are low when it comes to flavor and quality you'll enjoy it here But if your looking for good Italian you've got better luck with chef boy r d
Dining at Giulio's was nothing short of therapeutic. I was immediately charmed by the ambience and decor of this family-owned business; the atmosphere was attractive and cozy, the staff was warm and attentive, and the food was decadent and delicious. I ordered the branzino special, which literally made me do a happy dance as I ate it. The fish was cooked perfectly, the lemon butter sauce with capers was delightful, and I could have eaten a whole plate of the sauteed veggies that came with it. I got the lentil soup with my meal, and there was something so comforting about that cup of soup - like somebody's grandma made it, and grandma is a classically trained chef. It not only tasted good, it felt good in my soul. I also had tiramisu for dessert, and it was one of the best tiramisu I've ever had. I was spoiled years ago by a French chef who made the best tiramisu of my life, and no tiramisu has ever satisfied me since then -- UNTIL NOW. I nearly licked the dish clean and asked for another. I loved every moment of my dining experience and cannot wait to return.

I went to Friends several nights ago and it was incredible. We got the pimento cheese appetizer, the filet and the chicken thighs. The homemade chips that came with the appetizer were crisp and a little spicy which added to the flavor of the whole bite. I ordered my steak medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. Extremely tender and the sauce was great. My boyfriend had the chicken thighs which were tender as well and had a great flavor. The wait staff was nice and attentive. We will always come back to Friends!
The goat n parm appetizer was Delicious! And the Honey Bee drink is like a Moscow Mule meets a Lemon Drop . I would absolutely order both again
This is the third time I have eaten here. I have mixed reviews about Friends. Definitely, the food is expensive, but it can be hit or miss. Rosemary Chicken was good. There are not too many options. Flatbread was delicious, too. I would recommend people to try at your own risk.

Our waiter Ray was awesome...very attentive and interactive. We were not expecting the adventure we went on. It was kinda crowded which was understandable...but the area we were seated in was so close together. It was more like a club setting...the music blaring, people doing hookah, drinking, getting checked and purses searched, cursing all around, seeing a lot of people's bodies, etc. It's a bit pricey( thank God since it was our 1st time we only got specials but our other party went in and got chicken dinners which gave you the choice of either 3 chicken wings or 1 chicken thigh with 2 sides for $21) as well in my opinion and the atmosphere is something else. But to each their own. . Oh yeah I was told you can't bring kids in after 6 ...idk if it's certain days or what though...
Hubby and I ate brunch here for my birthday. I loved the $5 mimosas special that comes with a pitcher. We ate the All-Star Breakfast and Chicken and Waffles. The ambiance was amazing and it was a great vibe.
We traveled 2 hrs to check this place out after hearing great reviews. We get here and had to wait in a line. Ok, cool we don’t mind waiting for a great experience. After about a 15-20 min wait we noticed that people were walking up with reservations and being seated. So we still stood in the line. Next we noticed people coming to the door saying people outside were with them and security let them in. Then we noticed someone coming to the door saying they only had seats for two more people. I’ve never been somewhere like this. If the building is at capacity let people know so we can go elsewhere. Why should people be standing out side for long periods of time wondering if they’re going to get in like it’s a club. I was under the impression that this was a restaurant. So excuse me if I’m wrong. Even if we would have waited 1hr it was crowds of people walking up with reservations being seated immediately upon their arrival. I understand restaurants have wait times. But to not update people on why they’re waiting and what they’re waiting on is annoying. We were just standing there while people walk up and say I got a reservation. Then boom! They can get in. Of course security did ask us how many of us. We told her 3 she said she’ll be back. She came back and told us that we can wait for someone to not show up with their reservation. But if they show up we will still be waiting. Sooooo why are we waiting again?? Are waiting to be seated, order food, or to get in?? What are we waiting for? We never been here. We was just coming to enjoy a girls day out, eat food, vibe, and have a good time. ATP I forgot why we were here. Never again! It seems like we were waiting in line because we didn’t have reservations. That’s what I got from this, because if we’re staying in line and a family walks out of the mall and go right in while we’re waiting it’s clear you need reservations to get in here. So how is there only room for 2 more people and a family of four gets in without waiting, two parties of 3 people get in, and the people that said this and that person is with me let them in.

First time at this location but not my first time at Cheddar's. I was thoroughly impressed with everything from the seating to the service to the food to the ease of paying the check and leaving. Bathrooms were clean and well kept and I have absolutely nothing to complain about. I would definitely visit again if I'm ever in Valdosta again
Pleased with our visit The salmon was very good Portion size good (5ounce) The chicken strips were good. Our waitress Makayla was A+
The warmth of the sun on the patio created a mood for enjoyment and high expectations. We were not disappointed! Justice was our server and he was very attentive, professional, and fun to be around. He met our needs and the food was delicious except for the steak. But of course, Justice took care of that item. We had the Cajun Chicken bowl, salad, talipia and shrimp, and steak. All items except for the steak met our expectations.

My family and I stopped by after driving AWHILE. Guys, this place was worth the wait for food on our long ride! Everyone was super friendly but efficient and about their service. The food came out ridiculously fast and was delicious. Prices were a steal for how great it was. Truly awesome place!
Not gonna lie, I’ve been here 3 times in the past two weeks for the exact same meal. The snow crab dinner, 4 clusters and 2 sides for $36?? That’s amazing! The crab is so juicy and the staff are amazing people! I love eating here & love the food!
An excellent spot to eat. Fast service. Great food, in a cool looking and clean restaurant. Only 2 mins off the interstate. As an Australian, it was a real fun piece of Americana.

The new location is amazing. I went with a group of 5, and everyone enjoyed their food and the ambiance. The server and hostesses were great as well.
We stopped at Big Nick's on the way back from the beach. We all love good Bar-B-Que and Big Nick's delivered! Our 6 year old had been wanting bone in wings since last week, when we saw Big Nick's on BBQ restaurants near the area we were in, we decided this was the best time for wings. He usually gets buffalo sauced wings, but these were a bit too spicy for him. No one's fault here, I wanted to leave a review because the young lady up front swung by our table frequently to check on us and she was genuinely concerned with him not fully enjoying the wings because of the heat. She offered numerous times to bring a different order but he insisted he was already done after a few bites, which isn't abnormal either . My plate, Garlic Cheese Parmesan wings were phenomenal along with their baked beans and fried okra. Their baked beans DO NOT taste like some run of the mill "dumped from a can" only, yet they had that familiar taste of brown sugar and green bell peppers just like mama does them in the oven! Their French fries and okra were both crispy and fresh! Our son also wanted something out of one of the quarter machines and one of the fine gentlemen advised us they've been having trouble with them and it may take our money and give no prize. I thought that was very respectable of him. All in all I would definitely recommend!
I had Big Nick for the first time in 2021. When he had the dressing stuffed turkey leg. I stop by here every time Im coming out of Orlando or Tampa. Though thry no longer serve this dish I still enjoy it. I had an issue this visit and requested a partial refund. Big Nick came out and was so apologetic and tried to make it right. I really appreciated how he handled the situation. It speaks volumes as to how he values his customers. This was my first time ordering the corn bread and collard greens. And let me tell you THEY ARE SO GOOD. The cornbread is so soft and isnt grainy at all. Taste as smooth as it looks. And the collard greens taste like Sunday afternoon after church in your grandma kitchen. I was so mad the portion size was as small as it was because I wanted more! The fish sandwhich was good also, just wish it was a little more crunchy.

My Little Princess and I vsited Valdosta for a ride on the Azalea Sprinter in Nashville. Decided on 306 for an evening meal. Our drink selections were a Peartini and an Old Smokey. Our dining selections were Fried Chop with Asparagus and Mushrooms, Fried Shrimp, Wedge, Okra and Tomatoes, Potatoes, and She Crab Soup. Most excellent! Diana was an excellent server, the drinks were perfect, Atlanta fine dining at Valdosta pricing. If you are spending some time in Valdosta, consider this restaurant for your list. Most interesting were the pomegranates trimmed as bushes, yet full of fruit!
