We were recommended to try the lobster by Cathy from Waterside Cabins where we were staying. First time we ordered 2 1.25 lb lobsters so smaller ones and they were only $14 each so $28 for both cooked and cracked. The prices were incredible! Be aware that the last cook is 5pm so you need to have your order in before then otherwise they don’t have enough time to cook them as they close at 6pm. The second time I arrived after 5 so we bought 2 about 2lb lobsters that were already cooked and had them crack them. They were just over $21 and $22 respectively. Then we just reheated them on boiling water for 2-3 minutes so they wouldn’t get soggy. It was so good and so filling with the bigger ones! You have to try this at least once as the prices are so crazy compared to what we are used to paying for a lobster dinner, like $60+ for one person. Buy some garlic butter sticks from Foodland and the Twice Baked Potato dish goes great along with some veggies! This is the best place to buy lobster!
They had the freshest lobsters and crabs I've ever tasted. So sweet. The owners were very kind and helped us pick lobsters. The lady also cooked them for us since we were just passing through town. It's a simple boil but with ingredients this good the taste of nature was even more pronounced. The prices are affordable too. Recommended
Very friendly service. They can cook the crabs and lobsters for 2$/lb extra, about 40 minutes wait (we went to visit the lighthouse in the meantime). Very good deal. We ordered 2 lobsters and 3 crabs for around 120$ total. One of the best experiences on my trip!

We were so delighted by our experience at Pier 39. We are here for lunch and arrived at opening - and we’re seated right away. We were brought menus - which were written by hand! I was delighted to order the roasted red pepper soup - which came with bread and was extraordinary. My husband had the lobster roll - which blew him away. So much quality lobster meat, on a croissant, and a side of Cesar salad. I ordered the Black Forest cake for dessert - which was moist and flavorful. Overall we had delicious food and fair prices, with really efficient service. Would highly recommend!
We tried local lobster cooked in two styles- baked with cheese and as a lobster roll. Both were good Like almost everywhere in this region - no wine list and no choice, only the simplest and cheapest house wine. There were two of us in the restaurant, which seemed strange in summer season. The waitress was friendly, and all restaurant employees been waiting patiently for us to finish our dinner☺️
This place has insanely delicious food! The lobster chowder was incredible! Had huge chunks of lobster! I’ve never had chowder that delicious in my whole entire life! The lobster roll was amazing! It was very tasty and it was served in a freshly baked croissant accompanied by a Caesar salad.

The best food is here. I went here for breakfast twice and had their toutons and tea, they were the best toutons I’ve ever had. I pre-ordered their Jiggs dinner and took it back to the cottage where I was staying and it was just as good as my nanny’s jiggs dinner! I also bought date squares and ate the entire batch in 2 days they were that good! Such a cute place and very inexpensive but cash only. The older ladies working there were the sweetest people I’ve ever met. They remembered me when I returned and were so excited to see me, we had such nice conversations, their food and our chats made my day!
A must visit when in Twillingate! A true Newfoundland dining experience, delicious traditional Newfoundland food with beautiful traditional Newfoundland hospitality. We had the opportunity to meet the owners, Joyce and Jo, and they were so lovely, I wish them all the BEST, they deserve it! We will definitely be back here if we are ever in Twillingate again, as this was our favourite dining experience throughout our time in Newfoundland, its a wholesome Gem you don't want to miss.
Only 8 tables but had to leave hungry after waiting over an hour. Two people that came in 15 mins after us (and ordered the same thing), were served before us. The food I saw on others' plates looked good though.

This place is terrible. I took my 86 year old grandmother here the weekend past she is a severe diabetic asked for a glass of cold water the girl give her a bowl of warm water like she was a dog. I stated to her that she was trying not to faint cause she was dizzy. Her response being snippy " i told her its all i got "The one with the short blonde hair that was working Saturday gone you should be ashamed of yourself. Not to mention the food was not the greatest and the bathrooms were really dirty I also video taped it in case anything happened to my poor grandmother that day ! Awful service and piss poor staff I reached out to the comment below and never heard back. I think they do that to make it look like they care about customers. I will be posting this on the tourist site as well.
we are travelling from Ottawa, Ontario and we had a great lunch here since they also have branches in Ottawa and I find that their chicken here at this location is better cooked so moist and the service was great and friendly staff and also we met their manager and was very friendly and we even have photos with them. A must stop when visiting twillingate, NL.
I had a really unfortunate experience with Wanda at this location. After a few of us purchased 50$ of food, we returned because a small tater was missing. Instead of expressing regret and offering to make it right, Wanda resisted and suggested I was maybe lying in an attempt to get free food. Wanda was also passive aggressive and sarcastic during the exchange. It's really unfortunate. A better initial quality control would have heped avoid this unpleasant interaction, and a better customer service experience would have really helped me feel better about having to drive all the way back for a small tater. I'm hoping the franchise owner / corporate can read this. I do not have the impression that my experience is an isolated one with Wanda.

Stopped in for a quick beverage. Fantastic view, great live music, delicious drink and very friendly atmosphere. Update a year later, great spot by the water for delicious beverages, fantastic service, lovely entertainment and yummy eats. A bucket list must when in the area!
We lucked out, and got to have lunch here one day on our trip. (It had been closed due to bad weather, and no boat tours going out). It’s a simple restaurant, where you order from a small (but great) menu at the counter, find your seat, and have a delicious meal. We had the lobster roll with chips, which was to die for. It was absolutely perfect. This restaurant is in a beautiful location in the Twillingate Harbour, where you can see icebergs from the windows. During nice weather there is plenty of seating outside. Parking is shared with Annie’s Restaurant next door.
Great location! Great service! Great drink selection! We enjoyed some beers on the patio while listening to live music and it was such a fun way to spend the afternoon. The staff were amazing and accommodating! Definitely stop by here if you are in Twillingate.

We had dinner and breakfast at Annie’s Harbour Restaurant during our stay in Twillingate. Our breakfast was included as part of our accommodations stay at Harbour Inn. They recommended making a reservation for breakfast, and we were glad we did! The place filled up quickly. We were surprised that it didn’t open until 9 AM (we were there in on a weekday in August). There was a line of people at the door on a weekday. We were heading out on a road trip and wanted to eat earlier. Our breakfast was good, and served reasonably fast considering how busy it was. We enjoyed our dinner the night before. The views from Annie’s are lovely. It was busy at dinner too, but service time was still good. We didn’t make a reservation, but were fortunate to get a table when we arrived later in the evening with minimal wait. We would have no concern about returning to Annie’s.
Enjoyed our first dinner here as part of a few days of visiting beautiful Twillingate. Very friendly service, honest recommendations from the menu, and the food arrived promptly and was delicious. The cod was so good and it was nice to have options instead of chips with the fish. Will be back!
Absolutely loved their fish and chips. Loved it so much that we went back again for dinner. This time I ordered 2 pieces of fish and chips. The fish is fresh and the batter is light. Didn't feel like I was eating a thick layer of batter. The tartar sauce is thick and tangy which goes well with the fish.
