Food is always tasty and amazing. Everything is A La Carte. Bruschetta this time was not good. Tomatoes were sour and extremely bland. Could not taste the Garlic nor Basil like other times. Cannot complain about our meals, but the Bread Pudding was so - so. Lacking flavor. Will I return? Absolutely. Still my favorite place. Limoncellos are always delicious as well. YS
Probably a 3.5 star. We went on a Sat night, not too busy. We were seated in a room to the side that reminded me of being at the office, standard drop ceiling, florescent lights, etc. NO ambiance. We started with an off menu appetizer of Prosciutto and Bocconcini cheese with tomatoes and pesto. The pesto was maybe a 1/4 teaspoon. I ask for more, and the waiter brought me a decent size amount, but charged me extra for it. Not cool when the appetizer was $24 already. We ordered the Scallops and a special mixed seafood Carbonara. The Carbonara was good (not great) it was creamy, but could have used more Parmesan and garlic. The Scallops with mushroom risotto was just ok. The risotto was a bit dry and bland, it could have been richer and creamier, the scallops were cooked well, but lacked flavor. We got the creme Brulé for dessert (normally one of our favorite desserts) but this one was an odd texture, and we didn't eat most of it. Service was good, but the overall dinning experience was just OK. The prices were way to high for the quality of food we received. If you follow my reviews you know I don't have an issue spending money on good food. I felt $130 (with no drinks) was way to much for this dining experience.
Our aunt’s 90th birthday celebration could not have been better. Josiah was an amazing waiter who handled our party of 10 with consummate professionalism - he was patient, informative, witty, and charming. The food was delicious, especially the truffle ravioli, bacon wrapped dates, calamari, and the steaks. Thank you so much!

This is an upscale restaurant hidden in a shopping center. The employees were really nice and patient with us since it was our first visit. The food was great, as was the server. My wife had the lasagna, and I had the fettuccine alfredo. Both were great. The only real problem is the signage outside. If you didn't have the map plotting the destination, you would certainly drive right past it and miss out on a premo restaurant.
We hosted a private event at and it was fantastic. The private room was spacious enough to comfortably fit our group of and it had a great atmosphere both cozy and elegant. Ashley’s service was outstanding and very accommodating; she took care of everything with such attention to detail, making the night stress-free The food was solid—well-prepared and tasty. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d highly recommend [Restaurant Name] for anyone looking for a private event space with excellent service!
Excellent food. Very clean restaurant with nice staff attending to you. Spaghetti with meat balls is particularly good. The music was nice and even the pictures on the wall are nice. Highly recommend.

My dilemma; a tossup between the Free-Range Chicken sandwich and the cobb salad. A logical compromise; the Free-Range Chicken sandwich and a side salad. The house dressings described by the waiter, sounded bland, so back to fries for the side. My wife ordered a large “The Auto Bank Salad” with a fruity description of having strawberries, apples and pecans. The chicken sandwich had a nice large portion of flattened, fried, egg battered chicken breast. No sign of the Buffalo sauce that attracted me to the sandwich. It did have mayonnaise, not mentioned in the description. Maybe it had been marinated in a little Buffalo sauce. Regardless, bland and unsatisfying. I kept looking at my wife’s salad while I was eating. It was the most god-awful, boring looking, excuse for a salad I had ever seen. I commented to that. She replied that it was far from what she expected. The reason, it was not what she ordered. At this point in the meal, she had suffered through most of the miserable salad, too late for a redo. The waiter had indeed, placed the proper order with the kitchen as indicated on our receipt. The kitchen staff, apparently exercising their prerogative, subsisted her order with a terrible Hearts of Palm salad. The waiter could have salvaged the experience if he had checked what he was delivering to the table. When the waiter delivered the check, I pointed the failure documented on the receipt. He apologized for the mishap. The restaurant was a disappointment from start to finish.
The dining experience was relaxing, refreshing, and rejuvenating! I had the crusted salmon with spiral veggies with orange rouille! Our waitress was kind and very knowledgeable of the menu! Tell them Sallie sent you. Lol, they font even know me!!
Neat venue with great service and amazing food! We sat at the bar and the bartender, Emmy, was 10/10! She was attentive and intentional about making drinks and meeting our food requests. Amazing talent and delicious cocktails.

Very comfortable, relaxing restaurant with excellent food and service. In an old building, with a classy decor inside that makes for a great dining atmosphere. We were there right after the lunch crowd had cleared. Food and service were excellent. The turkey sandwich and the fish and chips were delicious. The turkey sandwich was enormous. The shoestring fries (their signature side) were perfect. When I walked out I was full, happy and relaxed. I was really surprised; I didn't expect such great food and service from a place called "The Tavern."
Loved it. Waiter was fantastic, however I forgot his name. Food was phenomenal. I had the club, deviled eggs, and Brussel Sprouts. Definitely recommend! My husband had the French Dip and risotto also fantastic. Atmosphere was classic for this area of Tulsa.
One of my favorite and most consistent spots in Tulsa Open late! Checkout their 1/2 off burger special after 9 pm I like to sub the fries for Brussels sprouts

There was a wait for a table (Fruday at 7pm), but once we got seated, service was very good. I can't say enough about the food, though. Their famous tomato soup is so hearty, that it's almost a chili. The steak was cooked perfectly -absolutely melted in my mouth. Veggies were also excellent- green beans and glazed carrots.
I have been to Spudder on a few occasions over the years. The portions were large and prepared to perfection. However, my boyfriend has never dined here before...so when he asked where I wanted to go for our anniversary dinner I chose Spudder. I made such a fuss over how great the meat selections were, and sadly ended up eating my words (pun intended) When our meals were served his ribeye was as thin as a breakfast ham. It was so thin it couldn't even be cooked at a proper medium temp, it ended up well done. The photo I attached shows my KC strip on the right cooked medium well and his ribeye on the left cooked medium. He's not one to complain, but at $50 a plate I will!! So I said something to the waitress and she basically told us it's cut to weight and implied there's nothing wrong. About 10-15 minutes later the manager was making his rounds so I asked him what he thought and he was in agreement it was cut too thin. But to my surprise, he didnt offer up anything else! However, the waitress did circle back and give us a free slice of pie. Which I don't think is a fair exchange for a botched $50 ribeye cut. The rest of the food was exceptional, but unfortunately the botched cut and the lack of effort to make it right was unacceptable.
Nestled in Tulsa, The Spudder restaurant offers a unique dining experience that combines rustic charm with top-notch cuisine. On my recent visit, I had the pleasure of trying their KC strip steak, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The KC strip steak was juicy and perfectly cooked to my liking. Each bite was a delightful blend of tenderness and rich, savory flavors. The steak had a beautiful sear on the outside, locking in all the juices, while the inside remained succulent and flavorful. The hickory smoke flavor added a wonderful depth, making every mouthful a true delight. Accompanying the steak were sides that complemented the main dish perfectly. The potato soup was light and garlicky, a pleasant surprise even for someone who typically isn’t a fan of potato soup. The salad, though a bit heavy on the dressing, was fresh and crisp. The bread rolls, served in a charming old lunch box, were a fun touch, though a bit on the hard side. The ambiance of The Spudder is another highlight. The restaurant is adorned with oilfield memorabilia, giving it a cozy, nostalgic feel. The service was attentive, despite the busy evening, ensuring that our drinks were always full and our needs promptly met. Overall, The Spudder is a gem in Tulsa, offering a dining experience that is both unique and satisfying. The KC strip steak alone is worth the visit, and I look forward to returning to explore more of their menu.

Was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and the atmosphere here. I hadn’t ever been and really wasn’t sure what to expect. I found it to be another hidden gem in downtown with quality food and service. I didn’t even know the hotel attached existed so this place really flies under the radar. I didn’t order a main entree but instead had a salad, soup, and some fried green tomatoes yet I left fully satisfied and looking forward to another visit.
This was my first time eating at The Chalkboard restaurant and I was very impressed. I absolutely loved this restaurant! The food itself reminds me of Gordon Ramsey's signature dishes: Lamb Lollipops, Beef Wellington, Sticky Toffee Pudding, ECT. But the food was delicious and beautifully plated. The atmosphere is dimly lit with a dark grey color themed and notes of gold ascent pieces. A smell of a sweet scented wood fireplace comes through as soon as you walk into the front door. The decoration and style of the restaurant is very unique with a romantic vibe. The restaurant is more on the pricey side but for the quality of the food and atmosphere, I think it's worth the experience.
The Chalkboard Kitchen is a restaurant that should be exploding with exceptional reviews. If the food matched the ambiance, Google and Yelp would be forced by customer demand to add a star to the rating scale. There are in fact, many enticing 5 stars reviews on both the Yelp and Google platforms. But the negative reviews, describing mediocre dining experiences are too recurrent. Discerning diners expect perfection, when the restaurant is posh and they have to open their wallets wide, to buy a plate of food. The Chalkboard Kitchen has been on my to-try list for years. Today is the day. I had my mind set on a delicious Wedge Salad and a cup of soup. Wanting to eat a fairly simple meal today. Well, I am still hoping to find that delicious Wedge Salad someday, somewhere in Tulsa. The tomatoes had gone bad days ago. Limp mushy little red sacks. A pile of lettuce. The salad was not the crisp, fresh dense, sharp cut wedge I had imagined. Plenty of Blue Cheese crumbles and bacon didn’t make up for the disappointing salad. Check the picture. The soup wasn’t bad. An unusual cumin potato soup with a few cilantro or parsley leaves. My wife had the mild tasting crab cake burger with great fries. Decent, no complaints. My wife loved the comfortable, classy ambiance of the restaurant a lot. I agree it is one of the nicest that I have been in, in Tulsa. The décor created the ambiance. The pictures I posted describe the setting more accurately and efficiently than I can with words. The staff is friendly, personable and attentive. Good service. So, it is time to pay the bill. Where does that leave us?…… a mercy rating of 4 Stars. Yep, only because my wife would like to give The Chalkboard Kitchen a redo. Next time, with a large glass of wine… and for me, something other than a Wedge Salad!

Glad to finally give this place a try. Was nervous at first because the look the bartender gave us but will say she was actually really nice and made some great suggestions. We had the pork belly app. The burger and pork chop. The food was all very delicious especially the pork belly appetizer. Would definitely recommend this place price was on point as well not bad at all.
We had an exceptional dining experience at Smoke for our date night. We wanted to eat somewhere upscale but not too fancy. This setting fits that vibe perfectly. Our server recommended the pork belly starter, which was a journey in itself. I love the variety of local beer available, and the wine and spirits menu offers a lot of variety as well. They offer daily specials that aren't on the menu, which is a nice touch. The scallops were cooked perfectly and seemed like good quality. We will definitely be returning and looking forward to trying more items on the menu.
Hidden top shelf! Place is nicely appointed with a cozy nostalgic feel. The menu is full of very interesting items for sure steaks but meatloaf, fish etc. and look at the sides way unique. The appetizers are also quite different, we had the pork and it was fantastic! I had the meatloaf, very tasty and prepared kinda crispy with a delicious sauce. One of my guests had the bone-in pork chop... He says he puts it at a 10... The absolute best he's ever eaten and this guy eats out a lot! The other 2 guests had the filet mignon cuts and they commented just like carving butter. All in all, this place has a legit chef, not a cook, and they put out 5 Star level food at a lessor price than others. Make this a place to try...oh the bread is also fantastic.

Super festive place to go over the holidays!! Food and drinks were very good and service was excellent! A fun lights show with music every 30 minutes for your holiday viewing pleasure! Make sure your whole party is there or they won’t seat you because they don’t take reservations this time of year.
You wouldn’t happen to have a couple of Tic Tacs that you could spare, would you? Well, it looks like all you all, have already been here and have written reviews. So…. For me I’m nearing the bottom of my Tulsa places to try list. Roosevelt’s is up. The reason why I have delayed has nothing to do with the restaurant. I am not fond of this stretch of 15th street. There is nothing “Cherry” about it. Too much traffic, too little parking, and too many people. And in my opinion, judging from the many reviews that I have read, only one or two of the restaurants in the area are really stand outs. In this review I will briefly review a couple of the salads and share some fairly uncommon nude photos of the inside of the restaurant. Nude, meaning pictures of the inside of the restaurant without the famous Christmas decorations. Check the pictures…. My wife had the Southwest Chicken Salad, fair, but not spectacular. It needs a flavor boost. A little more spice would help. Everything in the bowl was fresh. Not an enormous bowl, but a filling amount. The Smoked Salmon Salad for me. Smokey salmon, creamy tangy goat cheese, mild spicy aromatic red onion and crunchy fresh croutons, finished with a slightly sweet white wine vinaigrette dressing. A perfect complement. The main components of this salad (fish, onion and cheese) are a trifecta of aromas that can be appetizing to some or malodorous. My wife can’t stand the smell of the goat cheese. I loved the salad, but I was immediately afflicted with toxic halitosis. Bring Tic Tacs, Altoids or a tooth brush if you have plans for the evening. Good service in a relaxing environment. A vast beverage offering with deliciously described food options on the menu. I could see bringing an out-of-town guest here for comfortable dining and drinks.
Service was great, and the atmosphere (ceiling) was not as busy as other points in the year. The food was very good... The only but - the artisan bread crust was too hard to be able to eat - I should have ordered a bowl of soup to dunk it in. Everything else was excellent, and we tried more than shown in the photos. Will try this place again another time...

My wife and I were traveling for a bowling tournament and stopped at Nola’s. Heard good things about this place. They were $$$ but delivered 5 star service and 6 star food. The lobster tail and filet was delicious. Appreciate the attention to detail. If you drink beer go with the French ale.
Nola's Creole and Cocktails is a total vibe! The atmosphere is stunning—elegant yet chill. The service was excellent, adding to the overall experience. I had the fried okra, deviled eggs, scallops, and bread pudding. While the food could use a bit more seasoning, it was still enjoyable. The standout for me was the bread pudding; I would go back every day just for that! Despite the need for a little extra flavor, the overall experience was delightful, and I would recommend giving it a try.
Always great! A little pricey, but a good deal considering the full experience. The food could be a little more well-seasoned. There seem to be some herbs and spices involved, but it's never as full-bodied as you'd expect.

This was our first time here. We were celebrating our anniversary and I have to say Mahogany is exceptional! We had the surf and turf trio special and it was wonderful. Service was outstanding and so were the drinks! I would like to thank Jordan and Monique our servers, as well as Mallory and Amy the managers. They were very kind, and go above and beyond for each guest! I would definitely recommend for any occasion
Everything here was high class and perfect for my husband birthday. They even gave him a card and a gift of chocolates in a cute little box. Our servers (one was named Jordan, and I can't remember the other young lady's name, sorry) were great. The manager Amy was also there to make sure we were taken care of. I ordered the lobster cargot. Wow it was perfection. The jumbo shrimps were so big I felt like I was eating mini lobsters. The side portions are large enough to share. The best surprise was the final price. Everything we had and it was still affordable. I can bring the entire family the next time. Thanks for everyone making it special.
Went here with a group of six late on a Friday night. We had a 745 reservation but weren’t able to get seated until about 8 so that was unfortunate but the quality of the meal made up for it. I had a ribeye, wedge salad, and baked potato. The salad was a little small for the price but it tasted good. Potato was about the size I like and the toppings were great. The steak was a little undercooked and the server offered to throw it on the grill a little longer but I chose to go with I had rather than risk ruining it altogether. Service was friendly and thorough, server was very helpful with the dietary restrictions of one of my guests. We ended up at a round table near the bar so it was noisier than I would have liked but again, the quality of the meal and service made up for this. I think next time, I’d prefer a quieter area and I’d likely go with a different salad.

I really want to rate this place higher, esp since this was our 2nd time there… the 1st time being much better. This time around, not so much. Pluses: Good creative drinks - albeit pricey and perhaps a tad too sweet. Lamb chops were cooked perfectly. Misses: Service, flavor, and Same-o Same-o. We arrived early for our reservation with hardly anyone there but got seated in the middle of the room instead of by a window and away from traffic. We requested to be moved but was told “no” from the waitress and maitre d - only to be told “yes” a few minutes later. They brought a small table from the outside and placed it by the window… we appreciated the gesture but was annoyed by their initial response and approach. More importantly though - food this time around was just okay. Flavor was lacking overall, with everything almost tasting the same - and also not that much different from when we were here almost a year ago. Same menu for the most part even. Will likely not be back - expecting a lot more, esp for the price we paid… plenty other options locally.
Great service and good food in a nice location downtown. I don’t order an entree as I wanted to try a few of the other items on the menu instead. I opted for the mushroom soup and wedge salad as well as something the bar. The drinks were great. Well prepared and tasty. The soup was very good, especially with the French bread. My wedge salad was also good but I opted for the ranch dressing as I’m not a fan of blue cheese. I only knock the food on the lack of vegan and gluten free options for my wife. She ended up with a simple salad as there really were no other options on the menu. The others in our large party enjoyed their meals as well. EDIT: been back several times for lunch as I really enjoy those offerings. They are prepared well and the environment is a nice change from the pace of many places at lunch time. Again, the staff is top can’t be beat.
My husband and I just went here for the first time tonight. We would hands-down give this restaurant the highest score possible, a five 5️⃣ . The food was absolutely divine and our waitress, Sarah, was marvelous!. First, we were served an amuse bouche which was a truffle egg-salad bite and it was delightfully good. Then we ordered an appetizer which was a mushroom tart and my husband loved it. He said he would give it a five 5️⃣. Next, we ordered a soup and salad and the soup was divine. It was a red leak and potato soup and words can’t describe how delightful yummy it was. I’m so glad we got it. Then we got our main courses and we would also rate them a five 5️⃣, they were wonderful. Then my husband ordered the Osso Buco and he thought it was absolutely delicious. The veal shank was so tender that it was falling off the bone and he said it was incredibly rich and beefy. I had the halibut in a cream sauce with crab. The fish was cooked to perfection and it was absolutely divine. I cannot tell you how good it was and I would clearly give it a five. 5️⃣. Our waitress’s name was Sarah and she was incredibly nice. Not only was she very attentive, but she took the time to explain the various dishes to us while being very personable as well. Not only do I recommend this restaurant, but would come again. We live approximately 2 1/2 hours from this restaurant and we would travel again to come back to it. It was definitely one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in quite some time.

Lovely spot with speakeasy vibes. The location is secretly tucked down an alley and away from the main street which makes you wonder if this could really be the entrance. But it is. Once inside – it all beings. EXTREMELY dark and can at times get loud with the piano music but it’s all part of the experience. The backroom is amazing, but it is a bit weird to walk from the main room through the staff service area to get into the back dinning area. I always love a good wine wall and theirs is tucked away in that room - it’s an absolute shame that most guests won’t get to experience it. We were a large group of 8. Service throughout the evening was wonderful and spot on. Absolutely a great staff team from start to finish. The libations were delicious! The printed menu is rather limited but there were a number of specials as well. We started with 1/2 salads, a number of appetizers and ended up with table dishes to share for the mains and dessert which consisted of two massive Bone in Filets from the Specials Menu accompanied by a number of sides and the Towering Ice Creme and Brûlée. The Hand-Cut Bacon = that’s HAM where I come from. LOL but it was okay. I don’t know why Pasta & Red Sauce is a thing with steak – but I guess it works for some. Overall, the steaks were good but the desserts out did the steak for me this trip! Definitely an enjoyable evening out.
Great atmosphere for a date night! At 8, the pianist started playing which makes me happy. We ordered a caesar salad and split it, my husband had an appetizer of oysters that he loved. We split the table steak, potatoes egan and crispy brussel sprouts. The steak and potatoes were incredible. My husband loved the sprouts. We rounded out the meal with the chocolate cake. I had a Mary Pickford, and he had the table martini service and both were excellent.
Fantastic. Love the atmosphere. The entrance. The vibe. Ate at the bar with a party of eight. Wonderful service from the bartender. Everyone was happy and impressed.

Delectable cuisine, innovative interior design with a touch of whimsy as you enter. Ivy hanging from the ceiling and on the walls. Your table will be graced with antique dishes as you order your meal. We dine here frequently and forget to take pictures of the food because we demolish each savory bite! Snapped a pic of the gluten free goat cheese cheesecake which was divine! Do not miss the hummus and flatbread.

This restaurant is a must try! We started out with the empanadas and the hummus with flatbread. Both were very good, but the hummus was next-level, probably the best I've ever had. For the entrees, we went with the 8oz filet mignon and the salmon. The filet was cooked perfectly, as well as the salmon. For dessert, you can't go wrong with a slice of chocolate pie. Thank you, Amelia's, for the wonderful experience! We will be back!
