Best Restaurants Open for Newyears Eve this year in Tucson – 2024

This place has a huge menu. Bigger downside is in Opentable , they don’t differentiate between happy hour and standard seating. We were seated in the restaurant and when we asked for the happy hour menu, our server mentioned that we cannot order happy hour prices from standard seating (for a 750sqft place!) We were then seated in the bar area, which was not bad either. The sautéed mushrooms are nice. Fish is average, small portions. When the menu says Jumbo crab cake, and for $20 you expect something larger than regular. Now I wonder what size their regular crab cake is! The staff is friendly and efficient. Housewine is great for $6. When you make the reservation, make sure you ask for happy hour seating. I was expecting something like LeRende Vous from the about, pictures and menu, but was halfway disappointed. For someone looking for a quite of a date night ambience, go to Rende Vouz for the same prices, better taste and portions, or Vivace, same prices but far ahead in everything.

Food - for appetizer bone marrow and also meat trio. Bone marrow was excellent! Very good taste. For entrees, prime rib with mashed and squash. Very good. Baseball steak with rice and asparagus. Excellent! Also kangaroo was excellent. Went well with mashed potatoes and corn. Drinks - Manhattan, good. 110 degrees in the shade was excellent Service - Katie did an excellent job! Atmosphere- was cute and very comfortable

We ordered several of the appetizers to try a variety of things. We got the Meat Trio (bison, kangaroo, and bison), the Escargot, and the Prime Rib Strips (served on mashed potatoes), and everything tasted phenomenal!!! It was cooked to perfection and the flavors were outstanding. The sauce pairs for each was unique and we'll paired. Our water glasses were never empty, and they provided additional bread for the escort go on request. We also got the bread appetizer and it had two different types of bread that were hot and tasty. One was a garlic fluffy bread and the other had a crispy outside, all served with a flavored butter. And the atmosphere was cozy. The only thing that they fell short on was the restrooms seemed to be outdated, seemed to not match the rest of the atmosphere, and were extremely tight quarters.

I heard and read good things about the place so I wanted to try it for our anniversary wedding. It didn't disappoint. Service was great. They answered our questions and the chef was also talking with everyone. I really liked that. The atmosphere was nice to. Not too much noise. We had a reservation at 7 pm. At that time many people was already leaving. Talking about the meal. I had a cocktail: ambassador black. It was good, not sweet as I like and kind of strong. We had the squash blossoms that were delicious (even though I'm not a fan of ricotta). The octopus was fresh and tender, really good. My husband ordered the onglet. It was good. He liked it. He really enjoyed the potato terrine. I ordered the branzino. It was excellent, really fresh. It said that it was filled with potatoes, tomatoes and olives. I found one piece of potato, one tomato and one olive. It was really good. I don't think it needed any filling but if it says "filled with" so should find more than one piece of each. Anyway it was really good and it filled me up. The desserts weren't our favorite. We ordered the pistachio custard and pavlova. Like I said it's just our taste. I read in another review that the custard is the best dessert they have tried but my husband and I didn't enjoyed. So it will depend on your taste. The pavlova was huge. It was good but nothing special for us. We'll be back? I would love too. It's a little expensive for us to come regularly but maybe for our next wedding anniversary.

I had never been to Feast before despite driving by many times. A close friend chose Feast for her birthday dinner. It seems clear that Feast is trying to offer a fine dining experience. Indeed the atmosphere and service all fit that rubric. However the food was simply not worthy of the prices in my opinion. The one stand out was the lobster bread pudding which was excellent. The other main meals were simply average. The duck with pancake was bizarre tasting, the salmon with noodles quite boring and ahi tuna with rice was just plain. I had an enjoyable evening due to great company and good servers. However I left feeling the meal was a poor value considering the relatively high prices and relatively lack of deliciousness.

We had a really nice casual business dinner here. The restaurant was highly accommodating and responsive to my requests before we ever showed up. The wine menu is extensive, much longer than the food menu! The food was great, and we were able to carry on conversations without needing to yell, which is always a good thing. The setting is very casual.

We had a fun date night out at Wildflower! Food was so delicious the Scallops and Ravioli were to die for. Every bite was fantastic. Loved that we could share smaller pours of specialty wines with ease. Service was amazing, our waiter was so in tune with every need and very fast and helpful.

Our first night in Tucson and found this place with the help of Google. Upon arrival for our 8pm reservation we had to wait for our table to be setup. I think the hostess forgot about us waiting outside and only plates were set but no silverware. Then I went in to remind her we are still waiting. She finally called us to sit but the table in the corner was wet from the misters which means our food & drink would soon be wet as well. When our server, Samantha, came out to greet & welcome us, that's when the magic happened. She was a great server from start to finish. The first question I asked was to move us to another table and she did with no hesitation. Now our entire family was in a comfortable spot without misters spraying our food. Samantha gave us recommendations for dinner and shared one of her favorites was fish & chips. That's what I ordered and it was fantastic. My wife ordered the braised short-rib. Also delicious and highly recommended. Lots to choose from on the menu. Overall, this place was great and would definitely come back.

We had a lovely family lunch here to celebrate my recent engagement to my partner. The food was incredibly delicious! I also enjoyed the sangria. Our server was very kind and made the experience truly special.

I visited with a large group, and we enjoyed a variety of dishes served buffet-style. Everything was absolutely delicious—I only wish I had a bigger appetite! The selection was impressive, featuring hummus, mac and cheese, salmon, fried chicken, tiramisu, feta bread spread, salad, and Brussels sprouts. My personal favorites were the hummus and mac and cheese. The service was excellent, and the overall vibe of the place really stood out. It’s easy to see why people come here not just for the food but for the unique experience and atmosphere. The space is fun, hip, and trendy, with a focus on wholesome games like corn hole and ping pong. Highly recommend for a lively and memorable outing!

The menu is limited. If you're looking for a bar and grill type menu this is not it. They don't have steak sauce. It's not the type of restaurant I would crave but the atmosphere and concept of the restaurant is what keeps me coming back. There was a 45 minute wait for a table for 2 which was fine when you can play ping pong or bags (I'm not fond of the term corn hole). In fact I would prefer to have to wait for a table. It gives you time to play a few rounds before you get focused on the reason you go out to eat. It's like having dinner and an entertaining night out. Despite spending $80 for an appetizer, 1 alcoholic drink, and 2 entrees it still costs less than going out for dinner and entertainment pretty much anywhere else. In a nutshell I don't come because of the food. I come for the atmosphere, games, and extended couches they have for tables. It's definitely not like other restaurants that's for sure!

They were out of eggs so that was disappointing. The steak was good for a chain restaurant. You’ll have to give your ID to play games as that’s how they ensure they get the game equipment back. I told the waitress to bring the appetizers to the game area but she took it to the table. Drinks are poured heavy. Outside area is nice place to hang out and play but too hot to eat. The plant kept poking me in the back of the head because it was too close to the table.

Cute spot, food was tasty. The outdoor area is so relaxing. There are a bunch of shops right next to it too.

Came here late morning Sunday for some quick brunch. We were seated immediately, staff was very prompt and responsive for service. Got a couple of their breakfast plates and wasn't disappointed. Wouldn't mind coming by again if I'm in the area. I'd imagine they get crowded I n the afternoon/evening so a reservation may be the best way to lock in a table.

The burrito was tasty but a tad greasy. Great portion size. The orange cardamon buns were disappointing. Very dry and almost stale tasting. They took it off of the bill which was nice. We would return to try other items!

This place was recommended by a friend. I am accustomed to what I should call Tex-Mex, so I understand that the food here is authentic as well as different due to the regional differences. While it was not "bad", I did not enjoy the mole which had a charred taste. The Jackfruit on the tacos had the consistency of mincemeat. The flavor was good. I'm more accustomed to chopped. The salsa had a good flavor with a spicy kick. My husband had a vegan tortilla dish that I was not fond of at all. He enjoyed it but it was a tad bland for me. The atmosphere was delightful and charming as it seemed to be housed in an old home, split level with two sides seperated by a hallway that had a bath and stairs that went down. I suggest anyone try this place at least once.

This restaurant was highly recommended as some of the best Mexican food in Tucson. It certainly didn't dissapoint. The food was excellent - freshly prepared, full of flavor and very authentic. Highly recommend the tableside guacamole, they will customize it to your taste. Also the fajitas were amazing - juicy and flavorful. The service was a little slow to be honest, but they were busy. Not enough to dock a star and the prices were very reasonable. I will definitly return.

The building used to be the house of the original family who owned the restaurant and was converted into a quirky function establishment. I highly recommend reservations, we made reservations, one month in advance. There was a long wait at the door if you did not have reservations.

DELICIOUS!!! I live in Phoenix and am here visiting family. They brought me, and it was absolutely pleasing. Loved the table side salsa. I had the fajita chimis and it was great. Would absolutely visit again and order that again. Loved the fun and colorful atmosphere too.

Outstanding Restaurant! From the ambiance to the food, this place was amazing. The music, the service, & staff made the experience incredible. I would love to point out our waitress, Dolce, she had such a sweet and helpful attitude. Our table was even presented with authentic salsa preparation by the genuinely spirited and kind Elsa. This experience is a first for me even during my time spent in Mexico. Thank you to the staff at Guadalajara Mexican Grill!

Omg! The food was so delicious and the service was excellent not once did our server leave us hanging. The table side salsa was scrumptious. They even sang happy Birthday to my aunty. Which made her day. It's a bit expensive but it was all worth it. We'll definitely be going back when we have another special occasion to celebrate...

Some of the best Italian food I have had in Tucson. It's not cheap and I would certainly recommend reservations. Great food. Amazingly friendly staff. Attentive service. Definitely a great place for a date night. Like I said, not cheap though.. we will definitely be back in the future.

My wife and I were celebrating our 19th wedding anniversary. Our dinner was excellent and delicious. Kevan was our server. She was very attentive and professional. The rest of the staff was very helpful and polite. Highly recommended. And ask for Kevan for your server. You will not be disappointed.

Amazing food and service! I think our servers name was Raymond? He have us great detailed information about the chef's background, awards, and more. His wife made a wonderful signature drink and had opened another restaurant or bar? He explained most of the dishes in detail. We ordered catfish, burgers, shrimp and pasta, hush puppies, cornbread, and more. The hush puppies were amazing! The cornbread was good but different-almost like a soft, crumbly poppyseed muffin. The cornbread butter was awesome! The horseradish type sauce with the hush puppies was really good! The catfish was delicious! Fried crispy but so stuffy and tender on the inside! The burgers were well loved at or table! The fries were seasoned nicely.

First time trying Louisiana/Southern food. My youngest son saw the place, he loves seafood and was intrigued. We fell in love instantly, the atmosphere, people, service and of course the food we ordered was excellent. My son has a great eye. We'll be back for sure.

My favorite restaurant of the year. The grilled ruby trout with smoked roe and hand cut fries was fantastic. The fish was perfectly grilled and the grilled lime was a nice complement. Each tiny roe filled your mouth with delicious smoky flavor. Delicious juicy fries. The Black and Blue Brussels Sprouts were excellent as well. I also really like the atmosphere (although the music was a bit too loud for my taste), and the service was super friendly. Can't wait to come back soon.

Food was delicious! My mom and I are visiting relatives and decided to go here and have lunch and it was great. She had chicken pot pie and I had the chicken salad sandwich and it was all very tasty. Highly recommend!

Sweet,family owned breakfast place. So big portion, always taking home too. They can make how you like your breakfast. Pretty popular, so if more than 2, there might be a wait time, but definitely worth it!!!

Looking for a breakfast in a "real diner setting"? This is the place. We were in Tucson for our son's graduation and he wanted to show us his favorite dining locations. This is one of his top picks. My husband and I agree. There is a wide selection of inexpensive but delicious food options. The staff members are quick and efficient, and very friendly and helpful. They are busy but they don't make the customer feel rushed. There is normally a wait to get in, but it's well worth it. We were second in line on the Monday when we visited, around noon, and we waited about 15 minutes. We each ordered something different. I had Bobo's Veggie Omelette with fried potatoes, and wheat toast. My husband and son each had two eggs with sausage links. My husband added fried potatoes and toast. My son added biscuits and gravy. It was A LOT OF FOOD!!! But, we could not leave Bobo's without one of their HUGE pancakes, so we purchased one to share. We got banana with pecans! YUM!!! The pancake is light and fluffy with the bananas adding a nice fruity flavor, well accented by the pecans. It is fried in what I'm assuming is butter and sugar because it comes with a nice crisp "coating" on one side. A perfect ending to a delicious breakfast. My husband and son's coffee mugs never ran dry as one young man returned several times throughout the meal to refill with more hot coffee. I highly recommend a stop at Bobo's, especially on a not-so-busy day and time.

Went here after a recommendation and the food was good but nothing amazing that really stood out. The chips and tortilla shells were brought to our table warm which was nice. The atmosphere of the restaurant was really nice. There is also an outdoor seating area that would be nice in the winter.

The food was delicious!!! The kids meals were really neat how they brought them out and really tasty. We had some enchiladas and the carnitas and the chicken were good, there was a weird one that almost tasted like rehydrated beef jerky, that one wasn’t good, but everything else was delicious!!!

It was recommended by the staff from the hotel we were staying in. I'm glad we tried it. It was a very good place to bring your family. The food was great taste like homemade. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. I will definitely recommend it.

I ordered two small salads to go and they were very small for almost $7 each. Especially since they don't even have meat in them. Not worth the money.

Headed to the Italian side of the menu and swang by Twin Peaks Pizzeria on Twin Peaks & Coachline for dinner. The small shop was dark and private the smell of pizza sauce and toasted crust hung in the air. The salad was huge in size, bold dressing and enough to fill 2+ adults. The pizza was thin, floppy and light on sauce. The mozzarella cheese had low grease on the top but hardened up not long out on our table. The pepperoni wasn't spicy or oily just enough to make each bite great. The crust was the star, soft and thin, the edge was crispy and toasted amazingly, not to crispy to cut the roof of your mouth. Our overall rating is 6.5 out of 10.

The food came out quickly. It was also very delicious. I'm very impressed with the potatoes, and I come from a city near Idaho. I enjoy the sauce a lot on my burger. After working for two different burger restaurants, I love decorated burgers. That being said, the burgers from In-N-Out feature amazing toppings. My water bottle was low, so I entered the premises and replenished it. The water from In-N-Out Burger is very cold, clear, and tasty.

Always pleased when we go to In-N-Out. The best burger you'll get, as well as the fresh fries and a shake that never disappoints. Unlike other fast food places, the food actually looks like the pictures!

Great Italian food. Large pasta portions with plenty to share for 2. We had a nice time, but the acoustics are a little weird. We heard everyone's conversations. It's not a huge place. Metered street parking is all we saw. I recommend the goat cheese bruschetta and chicken parm.

Tried the gin berry smash (but substituted vodka because I do not like gin) and raspberry cheesecake. Legitimately decadent and delicious. Wonderful atmosphere and pleasant service. No criticisms available at this time, minus difficulty finding parking, which is not this restaurant’s fault. I want to come here again. Makenzie and the bartender are exceptional employees. Relaxing and prompt service was enjoyed :).

Love this restaurant! We were there during dinner time and it was already full. Luckily we got a reservation! Food tasted amazingly delicious! You can tell they cook with hearts! They were so delicious I forgot to take a picture of them. Overall highly recommended for date night, family gatherings, ladies night!

Brilliantly creative dishes that reflect a Southwest touch on New American cuisine. All expertly delivered by friendly and knowledgeable staff. Not the most intimate environment for private conversation, but beautiful decor in a relatively small footprint. Highly recommend.

Everything was absolutely phenomenal! Originally traveled to the area for a different restaurant, which ended up being on vacation. As a walk in, we got a spot at the bar. The bartender Britt was astounding. She gave us the greatest recommendations on menu and drink options, and local recommendations to other spots to tag as a tourist. Every dish ordered was out of this world. Highly recommend to any/everyone. Such great food and vibes. The panacatta desert is officially the best desert I've ever had

I brought my Girlfriend and a couple friends here on a warm July evening, there was a musician among the lights were light and beautiful.. It wasn't fully packed but everyone there on this warm night was enjoying the atmosphere and food. We meet a wonderful couple at a table next to us and chatted with them, the musician was playing some wonderful music maybe grateful dead tune or 2.. The food was great, we had the Brussel sprouts as an appetizer, so tasty.. One of us had a beet salad she enjoyed it very much, the Cod was tender and perfect, the tacos (chicken) were great as well as the burger being absolutely splendid... We enjoyed the evening and ambiance We will definitely be back when in town again.

We were in town for a comedy show and wanted to have a nice visit downtown at this cute spot. The garden seating is super cute especially for a Sunday morning brunch. We were the first patrons, so service was fantastic and were able to seat ourselves. Very quaint and the shops that line the restaurant are super cute but weren’t open. Possibly a Sunday thing. I ordered the Bagels & Lox which were quite tasty with their balsamic salad. Fresh salmon and delicious bagel but slightly overcooked. I would say it tasted better than it looked ha. However, the same can be said for my husband’s biscuit breakfast sandwich. The biscuit itself looked quite dry when they brought it out but he did enjoy it and said the runny egg helped. I definitely enjoyed the atmosphere most of all and the warm coffee on a brisk morning.

The food was very good and our waitress Michelle was amazing. She even set up a special congratulations dessert for the people that we were out celebrating. The drinks were overpriced, but overall, it was a good experience.

Had an outstanding evening and dinner tonight on the Terraza garden patio. Our waitress was amazing and so sweet we were celebrating our anniversary, so she made every effort to ensure we had a great evening. We tried their street tacos and chicken enchiladas, which tasted great. They had live entertainment, which added to our evening with the great mountain views.

First time at this restaurant. If you are looking for a very cold beer…you will find it here! I have no complaints about the food. The Mac n Cheese is very good and make sure you leave some room for ice cream. There is a public parking lot close by, which makes it easy to get to this establishment.

Very cool atmosphere located in the heart of downtown Tucson. The menu is relatively simple but diverse. A little pricey but the price matches the portions. The food was very good and the staff was friendly and attentive. Various areas to park if you don't mind walking a couple minutes and free parking is hard to find, but it's usually not more than a couple dollars.

The Spicy Green Chili Mac & Cheese is incredible! By far my favorite Mac & Cheese they have had. The Tucson loaded fries are a perfect appetizer. The flat iron steak was delicious. Everyone was very friendly and the service was fantastic! The Hub is always a great choice and never disappoints.
