Best Restaurants Open for Newyears Eve this year in Trenton – 2024

Great place overall, small place but everyone is always very friendly, they do a great job in focusing on entertainment. Open mic, karaoke, live music. I always have a good time when I pop in. Lots of great local talent on Monday nights during open mic!

Great local place, the food was amazing, and fairly priced. There is different types of entertainment each night. The pretzel side option was AMAZING!!

Went for the first time and honestly don't know if I'll go back. Gives off a dark alleyway type bar. Bartender was handing out free drinks in front of us when we went to order to either a customer who can walk behind the bar or the owner either way very unprofessional. Absolutely no music playing. We didn't even finish our drinks. Very downer feeling vibes from this place.

Checked out Tomasso's over the civic long weekend and was pleasantly surprised. Food was delish and the portions were great as well. It's too bad they weren't open on Sunday as we would've gone 2 days in a row! Will visit again the next time we pass through Trenton!

We had a great date night again, and we'll be back asap. The food was great and so was the service and atmosphere. I can't wait for the patio to open soon. It's very nice inside as well. Keep it up and I'd recommend giving them a try .

We ordered take out and everything was delicious as always. We just get a plain cheese pizza and it never disappoints, full of garlic flavour! We also ordered the family size lasagna meal which is huge! We weren't a fan of the taste of the lasagna, a certain spice was added that we usually don't like the taste of but luckily it wasnt over powering! Came with (6) garlic breads, and a large Caesar salad which is the best!!! The dressing is SO GOOD! Powerful so don't use much but the flavour is the best! They use real bacon, fresh romaine, fresh Parmesan and croutons. We will definitely order from Jim's again and again! Next time I want to try the chicken Parm sandwich

Some of the best food in town, price is amazing for what you get. There was a bartender there tall guy, think his name was Dustin. Best bartender I've seen in years, polite professional and always went out of his way to make the evening a great experience. Keep up the great work. Highly recommended if you haven't experienced this place.

UPDATE AND DOWNGRADE After my 3 star review they responded asking me to contact them. I did not as Im not negotiating reviews. The scumbags then proceed to get my information from the hotel check in , a totally seperate company and call me making excuses, This is a total violation of privacy laws by Ramada, and a full ahole move by the Piper Arms manager. Simply disgusting behaviour Rating The Good Ordered Steak and Shrimp / steak and lobster tail specials and they were pretty good, and Cooked properly Beer was cheap enough and service was good . The Bad Atmosphere is sterile and not pub like at all . Ordered Garlic Bread and half was a hard as rock, Waitress showed up while I was bouncing it off plate and she made a bizarre comment about cheese . She was completely indifferent to the fact we were served $10 inedible garbage. Its overal good but wouldnt go back as the hotel is a dive (Make sure sound is on to fully appreciate the "ping")

There was a small issue with the appetizer we ordered, but the server dealt with it immediately. Other than that, the meals were excellent. The prime rib dinner was amazing, and my wife enjoyed her chicken spinach and goat cheese wrap as well. It's a great location for a family dinner out...

I almost want to gate keep this restaurant, it is literally the best food spot in town - maybe even all of Quinte West. Service is lovely, polite and very fast - complimentary miso etc, food is authentic, fresh and so delicious there isnt time to take before pics. Always so delicious!

Visited today and really enjoyed the food and service. Really incredible taste, portion size and value for money. I’m not surprised the place was packed. I’ll definitely visit again when next in the area.

So we all ordered the ttukbaegi bulgogi, and I asked if they'd put a ramen egg on mine. We all were given miso to start and had the shrimp tempura, the kimchi pancake, and the dumplings. To say it was all phenomenal was an understatement. The flavors were complex and delicious. The rice was perfect and the kimchi is addicting as always. The atmosphere in here is so nice and comfortable. The customer service was also fantastic, they were so kind and attentive. We will absolutely be back. You gotta eat here.

Awesome spot to grab lunch. The sandwiches were delicious. Large, generous and flavourful - the Reuben hit the spot perfectly. The salads made it a perfect meal. The patio looks nice (it was raining so I didn't sit outside. Coffee was good and the beer I had from Prince Eddy was crisp. Overall great place to bite

Really enjoyed the service at this place which is paramount to the dining experience! The owners were very friendly and had no problem taking the time to talk about their culinary journey. Had a sandwich special and the tomato basil soup which were both fantastic. Honestly the soup stood out and I wish I’d gotten the full size option after the first spoonful. Will definitely be back!

I’ve heard good things about this place since moving in the area and they were all true! Delicious sandwiches. I had the turkey and my mom has the chicken salad. The turkey sandwich on focaccia bread with basil aioli sauce - so tasty!! My 1 year old even loved it. Loved the metal cups to stay away from plastic, great views, nice sized patio. I will be back! :)

I tried this gem for the first time tonight with my husband and loved it. Our server Ronnie was so fun and lovely, she made the experience great. The menu has many things to choose from, it was so hard to pick. The portions for your money were worth it. A great place to have a birthday party for the family, as one had come and lots of room for all. Not too noisy so you could talk to one another. Try it!!

First off I will say our server was a gracious host. She made great conversation and was fun to talk to. I will give a second chance solely based on that. As for the food, I found it wanting. The pricing here was fairly average for comparable restaurants, but what we ate didn’t add up to it. The other people with me ordered different things. My one friend in particular order’s food was cold. They were busy, so we weren’t going to send it back and wait even longer. The BBQ whiskey burger I had was good. Sauce had a nice flavour. The poutine I ordered is not worth the $4 surcharge. Not only was it very small, but the gravy lacked flavour. Not enough curd, and I’ve never seen them so small. It was like the crumbs in the bag. That was a small bowl full of fries. Definitely strongly suggest skipping the poutine as it was a complete miss.

Amazing experience at Bricks & Barrel, they've made everything well seasoned, portions are great, and definitely try the Curry Rolls! The service is great and the staff are courteous and responsive! Definitely a must visit (and you'll see why I keep on coming back now!)
