Blu offers an incredible menu of choices and a patio that is both spacious and private considering the fact that it borders Avenue road. Service is very good at times bordering on intrusive. That’s my perspective. My wife defined it as a high level of care and enthusiasm. So please take these comments in the proper context. Water glasses are filled frequently and with speed, with some spill over into your dinner plate from time to time. The food is very good and the portions are reasonable. Overall we had a great experience and would not hesitate to recommend this place. They offer a really good dining experience.

We were a party of 4 celebrating a birthday and ordered from the tasting menu. The food was delicious, very filling, and the cocktails were good. The best part was our server, Michael. He explained each dish and was professional, engaging, attentive, and friendly. Michael shared information about live entertainment provided 2 nights a week. Ambiance was classy and intimate. Loved the overall experience.

We both had the tasting menu, the service and atmosphere were excellent. The starters were good, the meal was good. The chocolate cake was good. The tiramisu was not that good though.

Their burger is as good as it looks. Super beefy taste and great texture from the beef cheek, while not managing to be greasy at all. Just great flavour. Chopped salad is also done really well here, with a combination of textures and flavours. Sea bream was also quite good; the fish is very hearty feeling and has a satisfying chew that feels substantial. We thought the fritters were actually the least impressive, as they turned out to be pretty salty.

Rasa isn’t just amazing, it’s epic! … and it’s all thanks to an incredible team that every day executes a perfect choreography. The result? Mouth-watering food and a relaxed, warm, and friendly atmosphere. You won’t even notice the staff but they’re constantly yet discreetly watching everything that goes on and they know exactly when to show up and take your dining experience to the next phase. The teamwork is as impressive as the flavors! There’s a reason they have been recognized by Michelin and I could have told you they were destined for greatness when I first dined here two years ago. If you’re a foodie, you KNOW when you’ve struck gold and Rasa is a rare gold mine. Every dish is unique and nothing you’ll ever have elsewhere. You better come here often because the menu changes seasonally and a dish you really loved just might be replaced (albeit by another dish you’ll really love!). The perfection is not limited to food and service. Their unique cocktail drinks are outstanding as well.

They nailed the fusion concept as their food is creative and contains many interesting ingredients. I love the spicy ceviche. Chicken dish is a little bit irrelevant together; ribs are cooked well but seasoning can be improved slightly. Service and ambiance are great. Definitely worth a try.

I got the 7-course tasting menu for an anniversary dinner and it was memorable and delicious! Highlights were the koginut squash, charcoal grilled arctic char, and caramel apple "cheesecake" - which were MINDBLOWINGLY GOOD. Like, on the verge of tearing up from happiness good. Portion sizes were good, we were both full at the end. We're so grateful for the amazing experience and can't wait to go back to try their regular menu!

Our waiter, Josh, was amazing, providing excellent recommendations and ensuring we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The entire staff had a warm and positive approach, which made the evening even more enjoyable. I will definitely be going back. The restaurant offers a good wine selection and features a special every day, adding variety to each visit. A delightful touch is the small chocolate they give you with the check. During our visit, I had the duck, which was cooked perfectly, while my wife had the suckling pig and absolutely loved it. For an appetizer, we tried the crudo, which was fresh and flavorful, though I wished it had been a bit spicier. Overall, Richmond Station provided a great dining experience with outstanding food, presentation, and service.

This was my sixth time at Byblos, and I’m happy to say the food continues to impress. The flavors are always spot-on, with standout dishes like the hummus, Brussels sprouts, Turkish dumplings, and branzino. Each of these is fresh, flavorful, and my go-to favorites. The jasmine rice didn’t quite hit the mark for me—it felt a bit heavy and sweet, but I will say it was still fresh. The drinks, while tasty, didn’t feel particularly special. We visited for our anniversary, and the highlight of the evening was the chocolate olive oil cake—absolutely delicious. While portions are on the smaller side, this actually allows you to sample a variety of dishes, which I enjoy. All in all, another wonderful experience. I'll definitely be back!

First time at the restaurant although I've known about it for a while. Dishes were expensive but the food did not disappoint. Every dish we ordered was great. Flavourful but not overwhelmingly spicy or salty. The host was polite and friendly. I've heard people had issues with the staff but we did not. We arrived very early for our reservation so the host offered us to sit at the bar until our table was ready. Bartender was polite. Ordered an Old Fashion and it was great. Also had a non-alcoholic Mediterranean Mule which was nice too. Foodwise we had Fried eggplant, labneh, lamb rack, truffles rice, wagyu pide, short rib kebab. All super tasty. The short ribs kebab portion was rather small though. Dessert the honey ice cream was superb, olive oil chocolate and the lemon cake were pretty good as well. I can occasionally smell bleach in the restaurant, so perhaps they are super careful with wiping down tables for cleanliness. Will return.

My partner and I visited Byblos a few days ago. The food was tasty—I ordered the stuffed eggplant, which I found a bit small, and a side of cauliflower. My partner had the lamb dish. The service was decent overall, but unfortunately, they didn’t have any cider. I was also a bit surprised to see a charge for the hot sauce. While it’s not a big deal, I wasn’t informed that there would be an extra charge, and to be honest, it tasted just like Tabasco. It felt a little sneaky and didn’t come across as very hospitable.

We celebrated our anniversary at Sotto Sotto, and the experience was absolutely perfect! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and romantic. The service was flawless—our server was attentive, pleasant, and made excellent recommendations, although I regret forgetting his name. The food was nothing short of spectacular; every dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully prepared. It truly made our special night even more memorable. Sotto Sotto has become one of our favorite spots, and we’ll definitely be returning!

Nice little restaurant in downtown Toronto. Definitely gives you an elevated Italian fine dining experience. They have a good selection of wines and cocktails to choose from and the wait staff is quite knowledgeable about the menu and drink pairings. Make sure you call ahead to book your table, they are pretty busy. For apps we ordered the deep fried shrimp and calamari and mussels. The mussels were supposed to be spicy but were not. They were cooked in a white wine based sauce but other than that there was little flavour. The calamari was excellent as was the sauce it paired with. For our mains, we had the angel pasta with shrimp and arugula and the seafood linguine. Both dishes were well cooked. Shrimp, scallops and calamari are things that can be so easily overdone but that wasn’t an issue at all. We had a Prosecco with dinner. For dessert, we had an Americano and their flourless chocolate mousse cake. Very rich and moist. Served as a generous slice with white chocolate cravings. The only thing I did not enjoy was the seating. It is very jammed in there. Waiters literally have to squeeze by and that tight packed arrangement makes dinner conversation difficult. I’m not sure if it’s different downstairs as we were seated upstairs but that was not an aspect I enjoyed. But the food is great and the wait staff is friendly and attentive.

My first time visiting Sotto Sotto and I’m impressed. The steak was cooked to perfection ,juicy and full of flavor. The seafood plate was equally impressive, showcasing fresh ingredients and delightful preparation. The fried calamari and shrimp were crispy and well-seasoned, making for a great appetizer. To top it all off, the tiramisu was simply amazing,rich and indulgent. I can't wait to return for another meal! Highly recommended.

Great spot for a group dinner or group hangout, or date night! Lovely ambiance, seating was very comfortable and food was served at a decent pace. Food was decent. There was a decent variety that there’s something for everyone! That said, of the protein we tried, it was on the dry / overcooked end - especially the mojo pork so could use some improvement.

Fantastic pizza. I love the cheese they used and it tasted delicious. Calamari was fine, wish there was another dipping sauce as I wasn’t a fan of this one! The lemon didn’t have much juice, but I’m sure you could ask for more. Pasta was fine, portion is a bit small, not to my taste either but my friend loved it. I would return for the pizza.

Went here right at the end of happy hour and it was quite busy! We got seats at the bar which had a nice view of the kitchen and we could see them grill the stuff. We ordered the house wine which quickly came. We had some other foods as well. The mushroom pasta had a nice texture and a good cheesy flavour. The noodles were especially pleasing to eat. The texture and length were enjoyable. The pizza was tasty and had good shape. Quite pleasing to eat. The beef carpaccio was also nicely prepared. It had a lot of cheesy flavour to it as it was topped with it. It was a visually pleasing dish, while also tasting good. Overall, It was quite nice!

I usually grab dinner at the Gusto 501 location, but decided to give this location a try and I was not disappointed! My favourite dish that I always get is the mafalde al fungi, which was so rich and delicious My friend and I were also able to come in for happy hour, which included discounted drinks and food. We got the beef carpaccio for only $10! In addition to that, we also ordered arancini, calamari fritti, and cavatelli. Everything was a hit! Our server was so attentive and super friendly as well

For our meals we chose the 10 course tasting with wine pairing and each of us had different dishes for all courses. Only a few courses had the same wine pairing, so in addition to trying so many beautiful dishes, we also tried many lovely wines. Each wine pairing complimented the dishes, really bringing an already incredible experience to another level. If you like fine dining, this is truly an exceptional example. It is expensive, but the caliber of service, food, and wine warrants a premium price. The cocktails we had before our dinner were also amazing! We would come back even if only for cocktails.

The restaurant is a small, very street atmosphere where you can eat at your seat or order a drink at the bar. The food was delicious, full of spicy Thai flavours. The taste gives me the feeling of a family restaurant without industrial additions. The fried prawns are very tasty and the taste of Tom yam Gong is very good, but I think the prawns are a bit low, so if you order other meat dishes, Tom Yam soup can be vegan. The rice was very fragrant, we chose the hot grade and it was very delicious. The mango sticky rice is a bit firmer, but it also has a good taste. Restaurants can be very busy, so you may need to reserve a table a little early.

Awesome service staff and atmosphere. Their pork ribs were slightly too dry and the beef could be cut thinner. However the Khao Soi’s flavour was amazing. We also really loved the coconut dessert. Can’t wait to try the platter on our next visit!

I’m here to share my experience dining in the Canoe restaurant. As my wife has a birthday, I have been booking a table a week ahead. Honestly, it was a long-time idea to visit the restaurant. But I just wanted to make an occasion more appropriate. Alright, about the Atmosphere: the view and interior are 5/5, and the location and vibe are good. Service: 5/5 Yes, the waiter was amiable and kind, always trying to do their job well. Food: 4.5/5. Yeah, it’s just 4.5, and I will tell you why. The food looks excellent, and all elements and textures are high-level, but taste was missing in dishes with protein. Maybe I need to order squab or rabbit for better taste. Dining time: 2 hours Dishes: 3 starters, two mains, two desserts Drinks: 2 cocktails Bill: $390 before tips, and $450 after tips. So yeah, if you consider it in this place, be ready to spend.

Our server was attentive and knowledgeable, ensuring every moment of the meal felt special. Over the course of three hours, a team of about 10-12 staff members carefully explained each dish, checked in on us regularly, and made us feel completely cared for. The tasting menu was nothing short of spectacular. The standouts for me included the smoked oyster with venison—a perfect balance of rich, smoky, and tart flavors—the chicken wing dish, which was a delightful mix of creativity and comfort, the veal with sweetbreads and shank tatin, and the preserved pine dessert, which was one of the most unique and refreshing desserts I’ve ever had. The sommelier helped us select a single bottle of wine that perfectly complemented the entire meal, making the experience even more memorable. It’s honestly a shame that Canoe doesn’t have a Michelin star. While stars aren’t everything, the level of craftsmanship, creativity, and service absolutely deserves that recognition. This wasn’t just a meal—it was an event, a celebration, and an unforgettable memory. I can’t recommend Canoe highly enough to anyone looking for a truly extraordinary dining experience. Worth every moment and every penny.

Amazing! Amazing views from the 54th floor of the TD building with panoramic views over the Toronto waterfront. We picked a sunny day during sunset, but this was a bonus! The seasonal menu of local produce was concise but offered a delight for most - all, I would suggest! All our dishes were well prepared, presented and, most importantly tasted sublime. Staff were spot on, knowledgeable & welcoming. Highly recommended from these happy diners!
