Best Restaurants Open for Newyears Eve this year in Torbay – 2024

Delicious food! I had the Spicy Big Mary and it lived up to its name. Very crispy and full of flavour. The taters were really good as well. Amazing meal for a good price. My boyfriend had the Nashville Chicken and he loved it. We also had a Coleslaw and it was amazing. Good food. Clean spot. Recommend.

October 2022: The view is still perfect. The chicken is as tasty. The best. 2018: We sit by the window. The view is great. We can see the hill and the water. Too bad the drive through is right at the front of the restaurant and it really takes away the view. The drive through is extremely slow. The restaurant service is very slow too. The chicken pieces are hot, big and delicious.

We knew we had to hit up Mary Brown's while on the Rock. The chicken burgers are delish, and the home fries are really tasty! The location was convenient for us and the view over the harbour was lovely.

Called an order for jumbo pizza with pepperoni, mushroom,ground beef and bacon and this is what I got. When I called back to ask why there was little to no toppings on the pizza she responded with “I think I put enough toppings on it.” There is hardly enough toppings to just cover the pizza. Some of the slices don’t even have any groundbeef or mushroom and 1 slice of pepperoni per slice She also said it was normal it put only 7 slices of mushroom over a whole jumbo pizza. Absolutely ridiculous.

Delicious pizza, we prefer not to order from anywhere else since our first visit here.

So the pizza is not great. There was virtually no crust on the pizza- it was flat and hard. The onions were burnt black, I actually thought they were mushrooms at first, very little sauce and everything just tasted bland and old/hard but the lady who served us was super sweet! She gave us an extra garlic fingers as the first were overcooked. Both orders of garlic fingers were delicious! Donair sauce was watery though. :( previous orders have been undercooked but much better tasting, possibly just an off night.

Best pizza in The Area. Soft dough, flavorful sauce and lots of cheese. Toppings are fresh and the staff are beyond helpful and friendly. Go here when looking for a quick slice or whole pizza.

The pizza is very good medium thickness with a nice density and a slight chew with some crisp. I know everything is expensive nowadays but the pizza seems a bit pricey at $26 for a large. They charge $2 for extra sauce which seems extreme. I don't think extra cheese is needed there. The regular amount seems like a lot to me. The restaurant area doesn't seem used. It seems like forgotten. I often bite the bullet and pay the price when I don't want a casa di mama. Update I can often get a deal for the $20 ballpark. I really enjoy the pizza. For 1 person it could do me for 3 or more meals its quite a filling pizza. I enjoy it a lot

Pretty good. Wasn't anything special. Would go again if in the area.
