Best Restaurants Open for Newyears Eve this year in Tillsonburg – 2024

We usually order take out from the restaurant. Every time we go in the restaurant is clean. Theirs people inside eating, people picking up take out. Both the son and Mother are very polite and friendly . The son however always goes above and beyond by greeting you with a smile and being chatty. The food is super delicious every time. When you order the soup , the broth, the meat and bean sprouts are separate. They also have a container of sauce on the side.

Small place, not busy. Call to place order or place in store and wait 10 minutes maximum. She was very quick and the food is amazing. I just got the BBQ pork and steamed rice, I wasn't expecting to also get some veggies which was nice. The pork is soo good and the rice is nice and sticky, not bland either as they use spring onion. Would definitely go back for the food.

Very bad service, the women was so rude and they don’t care about you, just care about your money (but no credit). The spring rolls were cook on old oil so if you can’t even have decent spring rolls at that type of restaurant better pass your way! Veggies were good so I gave 1 star.

The food is good. If it’s not burnt. The woman at the counter needs to go she’s the most rude, disrespectful aggressive woman I’ve ever seen in customer service industry. She yells and questions you when you aren’t entirely satisfied and will never ever offer anything for a disatisfactory experience I’ve only ever called once to complain about my burnt order and she hung up on me after telling me I was wrong …. I was like I ate it and it was burnt. Then she proceeded to tell me it’s supposed to be like that well I’ve ordered this for a long time and it’s never been burnt. That lady t the front needs to be fired and never brought back into the store again. She’s the terrible thing about the restaurant otherwise I’d give a better review

Tried this place out as I cut through Tillsonburg for work almost weekly. Just ordered a quick combo meal for take out. ( I Read reviews first!) Reviews are hit and miss for this place but I was pleasantly surprised with my order. Food came out smoking hot and very very fresh. Pic attached. Taste was your typical hole in the wall type chinese food. Not bland / no fireworks in taste but thankfully they didn’t clobber it with MSG or sodium as most do. Again, I’ve eaten EVERYWHERE on the road for work. My reviews are on point. Friendly old gal came out with my food. Maybe she is a one woman show here(?) Most of the restaurant area is blocked off….maybe they open it up for the dinner crowd. Looks clean inside but a little tired. You also get lots for your money. Going to stop by again. It’s a quick in and out for me.

Love and totally have enjoyed their menu choice, 5 items for roughly $21.00, but lately all battered items are more batter than meat. They also charge a dollar extra if you choose to have the sweet and sour sauce on the side. I prefer not to have certain things not coated in sauce, why should that be extra.

It was okay, would i come back probably not, every thing was over cooked, or not cooked at all. They need to learn how to cook or this place won't survive.

That was the worst experience I have ever had at a buffet restaurant. It was hot and sweaty inside. There was absolutely no food when we got there and it took the entire time we were there in order for them to refill things. Not recommended!!!

Wings were amazing! The beef dip had great flavour, it was missing the hours radish and a good baguette. The service was amazing… we chatted and laughed with her. Great time. We would go back for the wings.

Open for business! We had great service. The server made a few recommendations and we picked the corned beef burger, which was amazing. Really nice fries. Crispy outside tender inside. I like the cozy pub atmosphere. I've been there a bunch of time and it's always good.

Rustic looking inside was nice little place. Friendly staff . Only 4 stars cause the fries were really oily, greasy. More then what fries normally are. Would try eating there again next time that way

Recently discovered this place. A new favorite of my gf. Have tried a few of the noodle dishes, pho, and the spring and pork and shrimp rolls. Haven't had a bad dish here yet, everything has been great. The ladies that work here are very friendly and the service is quick!

Tried their pho, lychee bubble tea, Vietnamese coffee, vermicelli noodles with grilled meats, and Vietnamese crepe. All were below average. The bubble tea was made way too sweet, we couldn't finish it. The Vietnamese coffee was incredibly bitter and just tasted like sweetened stale coffee. Pho broth lacked depth. Vermicelli noodles with grilled meats was okay. The meats and sausages gave the dish some flavour. The Vietnamese crepe was okay, too. It wasn't crispy around the edges and the crepe was thick and doughy. The dish came with a fish sauce dip. The sauce barely tasted like fish sauce or anything like it. It was so diluted. Overall, a very uninspiring restaurant lacking flavour.

Recently moved to the area and was pleased to find a Vietnamese Restaurant that gets such good reviews. Ordered the BBQ pork vermicelli bowl and the pork was actually cooked on the BBQ!!! The flavour of the pork was amazing And I was pleased with the quality of the pork as well. The amount of food they give you is enormous! Had leftovers for lunch the next day! By FAR the best vermicelli bowl we’ve ever had! The fresh spring rolls were very tasty as well! Take out Service was very efficient and quick, everything all packed and waiting in less than 20 mins. We will most certainly be ordering again!

My family and I had wanted to check out this restaurant for a while, seeing the kid friendly menu sealed the deal. We were greeted upon arrival, promptly given a menu along with the daily special. It was hard to figure out exactly what I wanted as there were so many delicious options to choose from. Once our order was taken, drinks were once again promptly brought out and our food order was not far behind. I was blown away by how quick and friendly their service was. I ordered the enchiladas, as you can see in the photo, which were absolutely delicious. The portions were exceptional, tasty and visually appealing. I would 100% recommend to anyone who is craving an authentic Mexican meal to check this place out. Not only is their service and food top notch but their establishment is clean and inviting.

Prices were a little high for the offerings which were not plentiful by any stretch. I didn't feel it was a great value. The food was tasty though.

Most definitely a "mom and pop" type restaurant, and prices are as expected in that type of establishment! Staff was friendly and very attentive, but not overly, which was the perfect amount in my opinion! I went for breakfast, had the "classic" which consisted of 3 eggs, 4 bacon or 4 sausage and home fries. The waitress asked if I'd like either or (bacon/sausage) or if I'd like to 1/2 & 1/2 it (2 bacon & 2 sausage) which I selected that option;I thought that giving that "perk" was a rather nice touch the customer experience! Eggs were done perfectly (over easy) as well as the bacon and sausage! I very much enjoyed the home fries because they weren't those frozen, garbage, cubes the "other" place down the road serves! Overall a great little breakfast place and a wonderful, happy staff! Will definitely be a return customer!

We ordered the lobster ravioli. The marinara sauce tasted very sugary and bland like out of a jar. I have made homemade marina sauce before and this sauce was not homemade. Barely any lobster, I had to really search for it with my fork because I couldn't taste any. The ravioli itself when I cut into it seemed empty with little to no filling. All of this for the hefty price tag of $33! Too bad because the atmosphere and service was very nice. Also, alcohol prices too high for a small town.

High prices and mediocre meals. We got the lobster ravioli. The ravioli was mostly hollow with tiny chunks of lobster you could barely taste. All you could taste was bland noodles and a marinara sauce that tastes like something from a can. Would not recommend!

I was really disappointed yesterday when we had the dinner. The noodles in my pasta were dry and stuck together snd clumpylike they had been cooked and reheated. It reminded me of a microwave dinner. And the chicken was like something I could have done myself very easily sorry guys I wouldn't recommend.

Came here on a whim, this place had decent reviews. This place has everything you would expect from a mom & pop café. When I ordered the hot turkey sandwich special, I didn't expect an open faced sandwich, but I appreciated that the gravy was not at all salty, the turkey was not dry, the vegetables were steamed but not overcooked, and the fries were fresh. Their coffee is not bad, but the service was excellent . All the servers are very friendly. The atmosphere is nice, booths line the sides of the restaurant and picturesque paintings hang on clean walls. This place attracts an older clientele which makes sense as the prices are quite fair. I'll definitely be coming back

Walked right in and was greeted with a smile! Fast service, and great food. I had the steak, and it was perfect. The flavour was delicious, and the apple pie with ice cream for desert was a sweet finish!

Had the turkey dinner and man was it good! Exceptional service very fast and friendly! Pie was good and so was the milkshake, my fiance loved his steak dinner. 10/10 would come again!

Cozy place for a get out! Loved the soft piano music in the background. Can't miss their Pumpkin latte . Service could be more friendly and provide napkins without being asked.

The patio was very clean, and the hostess seated us quickly, and gave us seating options. Our server was very quick to serve us our drinks. It was a very busy night, but our server made sure our order was correct, ordered promptly and brought to our table within reasonable time. There were small mix-ups, at other tables around us , but as I said, it was very busy. The appetizer, meal and desert were absolutely amazing. Cooked perfectly, and exactly what the menu described. Will be back again.

We had an exceptional experience at Kelsey’s Roadhouse in Tillsonburg, thanks to Bobby, the manager. Not only was he friendly and attentive, but he also went the extra mile by speaking French with my friend, which made a huge difference for my friend who doesn’t speak English well. Bobby made sure my friend felt just as comfortable and included, and that kind of service is rare to find. I’d give 10 stars if I could! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great, and the service from Bobby and his team was impeccable. Highly recommend this place!

Food is great (excellent even) although portions of the burgers were a smidge on the smaller side (Buffalo burger and ultimate bacon burger ordered). Love the assortment and options of sides. Goat cheese and beet salad is my new favorite. They really go all out with the greenery too (not just the run of the mill lettuce). Also I was pleased to see the dessert selection is original. Ice cream Butterfinger cake was ordered and loved it. There were many others I wish I could have tried like funnel fries or lava cake or ice cream stuffed hot cookie sandwiches. My only other annoyance worth noting was the trays the food came on were reminiscent of commissary/ cafeteria fast food trays... Despite the food on it feels moreso fine dining. Strange aesthetic decision.

Waitress was friendly and took our order like a champ the all meat bites and spinach dip were amazing, and to top it all off the Christmas decorations were so pretty! It would've been nice if they had some Christmas music going to match the Christmas theme, but overall, I had a good experience.

Pay attention Management ! Don't get caught napping ...

The Indian food here is amazing! We tried 5 different dishes and everything was delicious!! Our favorites were the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Lamb Biryani. The Naan is also amazing and comes in large portions. I belive they make it in their own Tandoor Over so it tastes extra yummy! This is now going to be our go to spot for Indian food in the area.

I recently had the pleasure of eating at Daksh Restaurant & Bar. I would highly recommend this place to everyone. The food is great and customer service is excellent. They have a huge menu, that literally has so many different options for adults and kids. Location is very good and lots of parking. The store looks very clean and ambience is very refreshing. The owners are very helpful and friendly we should support such businesses in our community.

Awesome! Who knew you could get such amazing Indian food in a small town? The owners are from Delhi, so you know it's authentic. We had the Dal Makhana and a Chicken dish that started with K - nit Korma. Can't remember. On top of flavourful, beautifully presented food we had exceptional service and watched one staff member carefully mopping the floor at the end of the night. Highly, highly recommend this place!!
