We had a fantastic experience at Hell's Kitchen, and I can't say enough about how incredible the evening was! We celebrated my wife’s birthday, and the staff went above and beyond to make it extra special. From the personalized touches to the thoughtful service, every detail was perfect. The food was absolutely delicious—each dish was prepared to perfection and bursting with flavor. The service was exceptional, with the staff being attentive, friendly, and making us feel so welcome. Thank you for making my wife’s birthday an unforgettable celebration! We can’t wait to return
Decided to finally try Hells Kitchen after many years. My husband took me here for our anniversary. Very busy! We got the pan seared scallops, was our least favorite. The scallops came out with a super fishy smell and tasted ok. The best part about it was the bacon on top. The Beer Wellington itself was top tier. Literally mouth melting delicious. The sticky toffee pudding was also amazing. I definitely think Gordon needs to pay a visit to this location undercover and watch the staff… ( back of house, the platters? Eating on the job with mouth full. ) Was it worth $250? Well, if we would of got the Caesar salad instead DEFINITELY! Especially for special occasions.
This was our first time at Hells Kitchen but it was exactly what I expected and a little more. The scallops were delicious and perfectly fresh and cooked. The beef Wellington as everyone else has raved was great and the sticky toffee pudding was everything I didn’t know I needed. The meal was perfect the staff were excellent. Couldn’t have chosen a better spot for date night!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Debbie at American River Café is a gem! We stopped in for breakfast and were blown away by the amazing French toast—easily the best we’ve ever had. But what truly made our visit unforgettable was Debbie. She went above and beyond to ensure our experience was perfect, with her warm personality and genuine care. Her friendly conversation and attention to detail turned a great meal into a memorable experience. If you’re stopping by, make sure to ask for Debbie—you won’t regret it! Can’t wait to return.-Josh The Merchant Man www.pmsgulfcoast.com
Had breakfast here on July 18th. I had the avocado toast, minus salmon and sour cream, added bacon. My husband had the chicken fried steak and eggs. Portions were good, food was decent. I would definitely try this place again. We had great service as well.
The food and service was great! We also got the fish and chips which was great as well!

A++all the way. Very nice and friendly staff. Gorgeous view and atmosphere. Great food for reasonable prices and for modest prices during happy hour. Happy hour is Monday to Friday 4 to 6. Drinks were very good too, especially margarita. For 4 happy hour plates and 2 drinks we spent only $50. I also have a suggestion for the owners to extend the desert choices. Now it has only a single choice and requires 30 min preparation.
Went with my mother and sister for our last night in Tahoe on a Sunday. I was able to make same day reservations. We had an amazing server Aaliyah. She was very attentive and answered any questions we had. Providing 2 photos of what my sister and I had. My mom already dug in before I could get a photo. We also had their crab cake and lava cake!! Definitely recommend!
Overall, we had an enjoyable evening AND with the recent snow and icy conditions I'm going to assume that CH servers and kitchen staff were working with a few of the crew missing? We started on the wrong foot, seated after 6:55pm for a 6:30 reservation for two. The restaurant wasn't full, but it could be that seating was limited due to gaps in staffing. After being shown to our table, our drinks came out quickly, but the appetizers (my husband's Caesar salad and my lobster bisque) took another 20 min. For our entrees, my husband really enjoyed his NY strip steak (with blue cheese butter) but my halibut didn't hit the mark. We wrapped the night with a creme brulee tasting trio - five stars - and made it back to our hotel safely with the ice and snow. Overall, my best guess is that this is a fantastic, if pricey, restaurant that happened to have a tough night. Disappointing, but understandable.

This is a kind of sports bar with TVs everywhere, but views of mountainsides with trees, so plenty to enjoy as long as huge TVs in every corner don’t distract you. I tried the pulled pork dish with hash browns and it was delicious, while my gluten free friend had eggs and fruit. Their juices are sugar free and the parking lot seemed big enough. The service was weird, and I’ve been told ora hit or miss.
Have been coming here sporadically for years. Always come back here when I’m in Tahoe because the food is so great! The ribs are exceptional, cooked to perfection, always tender and delicious. The sides are also good, but everything takes second place to the ribs! Also they have the most amazing bloody Mary’s! I have only been there at lunchtime so can’t properly evaluate the atmosphere-could never go in the evening(elders don’t particularly like to drive at night!) Anyway, the food here is great! We ate lunch here and then took a full rack of ribs home for later-YUMMY!!
My wife found this place while looking for different eateries when we were up in Lake Tahoe. We decided to come check it out on our 6th day (8/8/24) in town. The place is tucked away up the hill near the Ridge Resort which makes for a neat little drive there from Hwy 50 then 207. The dining area is relatively small. There’s a bar with seating around that also has slot/poker machines for those inclined to dry their luck. There are TV’s tuned to sport events for entertainment. We were able to get a table right away. Our server was great. She was very nice and gave us the space and time to decide on our meal. Our food arrived within about 15 minutes from the kitchen after ordering. All were neatly put together and well presented. My burger was good but nothing exceptional or exciting. I’ve had better burgers elsewhere. It was under seasoned and didn’t come across as a premium burger for the price. The tri-tip tacos were excellent and very yummy. The pepperoni pizza turned out great and was also very yummy. The Tri-tip plate was also very good. The pieces of BBQ tri-tip were delicious. The cheesesteak sandwich was also very good. So how did Fox and Hound do? Atmosphere 5/5. Food 4.75/5. Service 5/5. Value to Price Ratio 4.75/5. Overall Experience 4.5/5. Fox & Hound was a good place to grab a bite to eat. If returning, I would opt for the Tri-tip plate or tri-tip tacos. The burgers came with a premium price but didn’t have the premium taste. That’s something to consider. We didn’t get any drinks so unable to comment/review. If you find this review helpful, please give the thumbs up or heart emoji button a tap below.

The lucky beaver is over priced, but it's Tahoe and they have something for everyone and its all pretty tasty. Their burgers are huge, they have steaks if you fancy, their wings are good, they have a big menu with great salads and decent deserts too. This place is good for kids or a large party. Service is fantastic and they have lots of TVs with various games on if that matters to you. You can get a beer and a shot for 16 bucks and that's not exactly cheap, but it is satisfying.
I had heard nothing but good things about this place, and I'm glad I stopped by during my weekend getaway in Tahoe. This was, to my recollection, the first actual bar I have ever been in, and it was great! Although the wait time for food was around 45 minutes (Saturday night), we had plenty of drinks beforehand, and our waitress kept checking in on us to make sure our needs were fulfilled. Once we finally got our food, we agreed that the wait time was worth it. If you're a burger enthusiast or your palate is simply craving one, it would be a shame not to stop by here.
I usually come here when I go to Tahoe. Open late so they're almost an option. They have great burgers they grill on spinning grill you can watch. I switched it up this time and got a salad, soup, and a sampler. Everything was tasty. Service was on point. Like always, I'll be back!

My husband & I were celebrating 10 years married as well as my best friend & I celebrating 45 years of friendship. Dinner & a sunset view…fabulous! Even more memorable though was how our server, Matthew (Matt), changed our evening from a lovely dinner to a sincerely memorable experience. Cheers to you Matt! Much love & appreciation for a great evening!
Fridays steakhouse was an amazing experience! What really made it was our server Tyler. He was very attentive and had the best recommendations. He really made this dinning experience an enjoyable night.
I recently dined at Fridays Station Steak & Seafood Grill, and I can confidently say it was an experience like no other. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and impeccable service that set the tone for the entire evening. The staff at Fridays Station Steak & Seafood Grill truly know how to make you feel special. They were attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our dining experience was perfect. I felt like a VIP from start to finish. I have dined at many restaurants in my lifetime, but none have quite matched up to the caliber of Fridays Station Steak & Seafood Grill. It's evident that the entire team is passionate about what they do, and it shines through in every aspect of the dining experience. If you're looking for a place that combines exceptional service with exquisite cuisine, look no further than Fridays Station Steak & Seafood Grill. I can't recommend it highly enough. Thank you to the team, especially Martin, at Fridays Station Steak & Seafood Grill for a truly unforgettable evening - I'll definitely be back soon!

I originally encountered this restaurant on my vacation due to there being limited offerings at the casino due to the time and renovation. I consulted with the hostess and confirmed I can order to-go. I ordered a Caesar salad for roughly 16 dollars and asked to add chicken. To my surprise, i received a to-go bill for roughly 41 dollars. The act of adding chicken breast was an additional 15 dollars that wasn't conveyed to me. Let alone that it was only half a breast. Plus, I was unaware of a to-go charge. And please look at how much chicken it was from the picture. Definitely do not recommend. Not because of the cost. But because of poor communication and definitely a lack of awareness of the restaurant's part. And the salad is definitely not "quality." It's just a salad with dry chicken. Honestly, I'm so surprised that this type of quality control and service is allowed. Definitely would not go. Go to the steakhouse instead.
The mushroom raviolis are to die for so as the charred octopus This post was from our second visit, but we went again this past holiday weekend everything was good except for the service. I asked the server for no onions on my octopus and it came with onions, she dropped the plate and never came back to check on us till I was done with it, she realized that I set the onions aside! And kinda apologized, then when we ordered dinner, we asked her for Parmesan cheese for our pastas and then again, dropped off the plates and took off and never came back until I was done with mine then I asked her for more bread and she said that they don't give extra, I replied that we always get more and she said "no" that since it was late most likely it was put away!!, she left and after awhile we had to wave at a busser for refill our drink since the server never asked and took off really fast! I was very disappointed with the service, not only that, I observed that she was very friendly and attentive to the people sitting next to us!! That made me think that she stereotyped people according to their race! Even with this bad experience, we'll come back because we love the food I'll just make sure we don't get sat in her section!!
Food was amazing, I got the scallop vodka pasta and my girlfriend had the spicy pasta both were wonderful. Service was also outstanding, Don was an energetic and attentive server and we received constant attention from him and staff even though they were busy. View is great, ambience could use some work. One of the two places with Vodka sauce in town so I will definitely be back!

Quite possibly the best food on the lake anywhere. We are hitting all the bbq spots . I had the ribeye cooked to perfection with an extra side of seasoning. Paired with a Californian orange wheat beer . The staff are great and the service is excellent though we went during a non busy period. My wife had the tacos and loved them. We have to try the pizza.
We ordered Argentinian fries, Grilled cheese (for our toddler), Birria , Carne Asada fries and signature bread pudding. Overall The food was great with mixed experience. The service was decent, our server was great. About the food: I would suggest to keep Argentinian salad as is. I wanted my steak to be a bit more cooked than medium (like medium well), but they gave me well done which is basically ruined. I would take medium over well done. So don’t try to customize it to your likeness as there’s a risk of ruining it. The birria tacos wasn’t anything special. But the carne asada fries was amazing (I wished it had guacamole too though, it really missed avocado or guacamole) The dessert was too sweet and the fruit was all canned, nothing ultra special but still decent.
Delicious pizza, fantastic burger, great drinks and fantastic service. Atmosphere was 4 stars because there was an extremely obnoxious group of 8 frat guys that the staff did not ask to quiet down. Multiple groups moved seats and took their food to go. It’d be great if the manager could step up and make sure the space is for everyone. It’s not a quiet place but it’s also not a dive bar where you can scream at will :) Highly recommend!

For our anniversary this year, we decided to ditch the traditional fancy dinner and opt for something more adventurous. Thanks to a friend's recommendation, Chart House's happy hour beckoned, and let me tell you, it was an absolute delight! We practically devoured the menu, a testament to the incredible flavors. The first bite of coconut shrimp was a textural explosion - crispy perfection encasing juicy goodness. The avocado ceviche was a refreshingly cool and tangy counterpoint, each mouthful balanced by the earthy crunch of the root chips. The fish tacos were a winner, with fresh, flaky fish nestled in warm tortillas and a touch of spice. But the real scene-stealer was the spinach artichoke dip. Forget gloppy cheese overload, this was a masterpiece of creaminess, punctuated by tender artichoke hearts and all enveloped in a light, cheesy embrace. Mini sliders, each a burst of savory goodness, joined the party. But the mussels in white wine were the undisputed champions. Imagine plump, tender mussels bathed in a garlicky, herb-infused white wine broth - pure bliss! And to top it all off, the lobster tartare was a decadent indulgence - fresh, luxurious lobster with just the right amount of seasoning, the perfect ending to our culinary adventure. The only minor letdown was our seating. We didn't snag a window view and ended up facing the parking lot. But honestly, with food this good, even a brick wall wouldn't have dampened our celebration. Especially considering the amazing price tag - our feast for two came to a very reasonable $82! Chart House's happy hour was the perfect anniversary experience. It wasn't just a meal; it was a delicious adventure that tantalized our taste buds and created memories that will last a lifetime!
We can't say enough fantastic things about Chart House. The atmosphere was fabulous, the service was incredible, and the food was unbelievably delicious. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.

You know a restaurant is having problems when it gets off to a really bad start and the service is bad. We arrived for a 715 pm reservation and were told our table was not ready. We waited 15 minutes before being seated. It then took another 15 minutes for a waiter to come over, greet us and take an order. The waiter apologized for the slow service and told us he would rush our order in the kitchen. We told him there was no rush but nonetheless 5 minutes later the food came out. He then brought the check and a few minutes later checked in to see if we were ready to pay. The decor in this restaurant has the same charm as a corporate office. The walls are a non descript tan with a few old photos. No attempt had been to decorate. While the restaurant has nice views, tables are pushed against the building beams. It feels as if Harrahs had this empty space lying around and decided to turn it into an Italian restaurant.

I’ve watched the show so I was really looking forward to dine here. Although we got mixed reviews from family and friends we tried to keep an open mind. Our experience was really positive. Our food was good. Love the lobster risotto & the sticky toffee pudding. Hubby said he enjoyed the beef wellington. But what stand out for us is the service. Our waiter Nelson was awesome! He was nice & very attentive. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday so I mentioned to him if he can just put a candle on the dessert since he ordered the pre fixed menu. But instead gave him his own birthday dessert which was really nice of him and just for that we would come back & hope to get him as our server again. The reason I gave it only 4 stars is because it was too loud & crowded. Not really an intimate date night place for me. I wish they can squeeze in some booth for private dining. But other than that we enjoyed our experience.
I took my girlfriend to Hell's Kitchen to celebrate our five-year anniversary, and we had a fantastic time. Let's start with the food: I chose the signature prix fixe menu, while my girlfriend opted for the Beef Wellington with a side of macaroni and cheese. I decided to try the scallops for the first time, and both of us were impressed by their taste and flavor. I could have used a few more scallops, but that’s just my appetite talking! The Beef Wellington arrived about 15 minutes later, and since neither of us had tried it before, we were both delighted with it. Although my girlfriend isn't a fan of medium-rare meat, the sauce made it enjoyable for her. The macaroni and cheese was served hot, and my girlfriend loved it. I was initially unsure, but the smoked gouda in the mac and cheese really enhanced its flavor. For dessert, we had the sticky toffee pudding with a scoop of ice cream, which was one of the most delicious desserts I've had in a while. I planned to share it with my girlfriend since I can’t handle too many sweets, but the server surprised us with a complimentary anniversary toffee pudding dessert. This thoughtful gesture was the perfect end to our meal and highlighted the excellent service we received. As for the service, Sean was our server and made the experience memorable. He engaged in friendly conversation, offered great food recommendations, and was patient while we decided what to order. Notably, he remembered that we planned to share our dessert and brought us a small toffee pudding and ice cream on the house. His attentiveness and kindness were much appreciated, and we left a 20% tip on our $200 bill.

With excellent view, it comes an excellent dinner! From the moment we walked in to the restaurant to the moment we left, the whole service was superb. The food was delicious and tasty. The cocktails were amazing, I highly recommend the espresso rub veal chops. Valet parking only and dress nice
Came here for a date night dinner. Booked the first available slot at 5pm. The place was quiet and the view out the window was beautiful. I chose the Chef and Sommelier menu for $130. It came with an appetizer, pork chop, and dessert along with two glasses of wine. My wife chose the soup of the day plus the Prime Steak Duo. Everything was tasty. Service was excellent. It was money well spent and a perfect end to a beautiful day in South Lake Tahoe.
Pictures do not do it justice. The food was so delicious. The Elk loin is 10/10 a total must have. The Braised Duck risotto was great as well. The coffee and Tallow dessert was the perfect ending to the night. The best thing is the view so amazing.
