They handled the noon hour rush with ease...didn't have to wait long and everything was hot, fresh and crispy...we'll done! Dining area badly in need of a makeover...but what Dub isn't???

What can I say, I'm addicted. This is my go to on a cheat day! Plus they just finished washing the floors and it felt like they knew we were coming. Lovely staff!

It's strange reading all the 1-star reviews from people upset that it’s no longer the largest truck. Sure, it's not, but let's appreciate how well-maintained and clean it is. It’s still a great stop on the way to BC, and if you're traveling with kids, they’ll be amazed. Even for those of us unfamiliar with the mining industry, the sheer size of the truck is impressive—just imagining what it’s like to operate it! So instead of complaining, let’s appreciate the little (or in this case, big!) things in life.

Nice place to stopover and explore around. Town is not big and the eye catching titan truck is the world’s largest truck you won’t miss. You have to look it in person to feel the ginormous of this truck. This also is the first town when you cross from AB to BC border. This truck shows how prosperity it is while in the best mining period. They built multiple of this kind truck to transport the coal they dig to the outside world. Usually this place is not busy you can be very relax and enjoyable here.

What a great time we had visiting the truck! My son is 8 so he loved it, it's kept very clean so he could climb up on the tire and front for pics. Plus we stopped by on a Thursday around 5 and their local farmers market was bustling, it was a lovely little break!

This place serves some of the best North American style Chinese food I've had. It's definitely not traditional Chinese food but it's reminiscent of food court Chinese food in the city, but fresher, tastier, and made with love. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are huge, such that you can take leftovers home and have them for lunch the next day. The fried shrimp looked and tasted perfect. It actually looks like how it would be illustrated in an Asian food cartoon or a neopets 2D megapixel picture of food. The service was excellent and the ladies who work there were very kind and welcoming. Very rural community local Chinese restaurant vibes. Worth trying out.

We are camping in the area and wanted to try their food. The waitress was so friendly greeting us. She gave us a drink while we waited for our takeout order. And the food tasted yummy too.

Bought a chilly and they ran out so they put a new bag in. I got it as just a bit warm while I wanted it to be hot or warmer. So I asked them to microwave for me but I just realized this cup might not be microwave safe. After I got back the hot chilly and asked them if this cup is microwave safe and one guy confirmed it is microwave safe with confident. But from what I can see in the photo, it is not.

I spent $50 on 2 dozen donuts and some coffee, I received 4 old fashion and 5 sour cream but only 1 boston cream and 1 chocolate dip. Do better!

Through the drive-thru, I placed an order for a chocolate creamy chill. The staff at the establishment were incredibly friendly, adding to the pleasant experience. As I savored my refreshing drink, I had the opportunity to admire the awe-inspiring sight of the world's largest truck, enhancing my overall enjoyment.

Surprisingly great hospitality and atmosphere! This is a hotel restaurant in the town of Sparwood and is a delightful spot for a nice lunch during your stay or drive elsewhere. The waiter is very kind and accomodating, and the tables and chairs here are comfortable and the vibe is cozy. Food wise, you'll find a nice variety of western dishes and drinks, all of which tasted great from my visit here. Clean washrooms and ample parking too. Highly recommend!

Got take out, food was delicious as always but price was quite steep. 1 large chowder for takeout was almost $30 and was only half full. Great food but not worth the price for such a tiny portion, never even filled a normal bowl, disappointing experience.

The restaurant has started a "burger and beer" special on Thursday evenings so I went with that. Tonight's feature was the "Smokehouse burger"-- burger patty, piece of brisket, onion ring, cheese and bbq sauce. It had great flavour and a generous amount of meat. Along with a bottle of your choice of domestic, the meal also came with their fries which were lightly seasoned and amazingly crispy. The hostess and waitress were accommondating and friendly. The restaurant was neatly decorated, just enough showcasing the treasures of the area. Not my fave choice in music, but always need something on in the background and this is the music preference of the area so it is well-suited. All in all, a great first experience at this resto.

What a beauty of a restaurant located at the Sparwood Golf Club We were looking for a place that our kids could also enjoy while on our road trip and re came across Crumbs Bar & Grill The chicken wraps we had were super fresh and tasty, especially when paired with an excellent mimosa flight! The kids loved being able to see the mountains from inside and the decor was also quite fun with a mountain goat enjoying a cupcake Absolutely worth the stop! The service was great and they were super patient with us and our tired, road tripping toddlers

Was passing through and picked up their tortiere and chicken pot pie. Both were very tasty, wholesome, and made well. Their Cinnamon bun is also quite tasty, especially when reheated. Very real ingredients and made from scratch for sure. Excellent kind staff. This is truly a real bakery. Their salads looked fresh too and they have lots of real baked goods to choose from. I would definitely be willing to come back to try their other items.

The Crumbs experience is always a good one, we’re never disappointed with our meal experiences there. Courtney was an attentive server and ensured my wifes meal was suitable for her Celiac concerns. Its pretty neat that Crumbs is giving younger staff members an opportunity to run the restaurant on weekends- great experience for them.

Went on Saturday with my family for supper. First of all, the so-called "fresh" ingredients were not very fresh. Lettuce was "rusty." The pickles looked absolutely disgusting. I got neither on my sub. I got an assorted sub. I found two black hairs in it. One about 2 inches and another longer one about 4 inches. Super gross!! Will not be eating there again.

I was served by Mr.Reddy, who wasn’t paying attention to my conversation, talking in a foreign language and asking me to repeat the toppings. I am not aware of the Subway standards and practices. I hope there are set standards. Cheers

The crispy chicken sidekick sandwich on a potato bun here was good. The chicken actually tasted of good quality, like a real piece of chicken. Fairly impressed by Subway.

This is a fairly new McDonald's and may be suffering from lack of staff, but if time is important, then you may want to pass by here. It took 20 minutes for a hamburger, a happy meal, and a drink. Then, when we got on the road, we discovered that instead of a hamburger meal, we got a double cheeseburger meal. Of course, my granddaughter does not like cheese, but I wasn't going back. The store is new, clean and modern but the service is horrible.

I'm not a big McDonald's foodie. I prefer whole foods, so I won't comment on the food, but really, I was looking for a little coffee shop to sit and catch up with some documents and such. They certainly kept it clean, and I love how there are various kinds of seating arrangements to choose your niche and get comfy. Which is exactly what I did. Thanks, McDonald's!

Stopped by McDonald's drive-thru for a quick coffee, and the experience was smooth and pleasant. The staff was super nice and friendly, taking my order with a smile, and my coffee was ready by the time I reached the window—no wait at all! The coffee itself was hot and just what I needed for a quick caffeine fix. The only downside? It’s tough to get cell reception in the area, which made it hard to access my app and collect points. Still, great service and a reliable coffee stop!

This is my go to spot in Sparwood. Not sure why you’d order from Pizza Hut, when this gem is better quality, better service, and better price. Support local!

I didn't try their pizza, but their fish and chips are on par if not better than by the ocean! It's legit fried cod with a light crispy batter and the fries are real chips, just thin cut. The owner told me they are house cut from real potatoes and they did taste very fresh and spuddy. The taco salad was also fresh, wholesome, and delicous. The portions are generous and so large that you will be stuffed. Fair prices for what you get. Pleasant experience and friendly service. Worth trying out. Get the fish and chips. The tartar sauce it comes with is particularly tangy and delicous.

Pizza is above average and will satisfy the craving for a decent pie! I ordered the Donair pizza as well as the Aussie Aussie Aussie on special. The donair was the better of the two, though not the best I've ever had. Aussie's BBQ sauce left me wanting but the dual cheese was the best part. Layering ingredients from both pies under the cheese makes for soggy toppings. Crust was decent on both but not hand-tossed or anything exceptional. Fun crunch and soft on the inside. From the time they were ordered to pick-up was less than a half hour and kept hot. Overall, decent pizzas for expected price.

We booked the entire pub for our hockey team lunch this weekend. We were in town from Calgary. The pub is super cozy, and just the right size to accommodate our crew of 55 people. We had worked with the owner to create our preorder and everything was ready for us when we arrived. Pool table, darts, arcade games kept the kiddos busy and the parents got to relax and enjoy the great food and service from the staff! Definitely recommend this spot for large party functions! I’m sure it’s super fun to go to outside of a large group. Great experience.

I was in the Sparwood area camping with family July 2024. It was my daughters birthday and we were celebrating at the Silver Fox. The staff were amazing!! They set up the tables and let us decorate with our theme. The food was fabulous. They provided plates and cutlery for the cake. There were about 30 people who attended the party. And at the end of the evening, they even gave my daughter a birthday gift. It was a wonderful time and I would highly recommend the Silver Fox and I will be returning one day!!

Top notch customer service. I blundered and forgot to order an additional pizza when I called my order in. When I picked up I realized my error. The young lady who was working there by herself got a pizza in the for me right away without hezation. I appreciate her understanding and effort!

Food was top tier and all the staff were very friendly. The service was also fast and got my food ready to go in no time! Will surely be coming back here again

At times waitresses are understaffed but that is not their fault. The food is consistently good. Homemade soup,meatloaf is delicious and I really wish you would put the curried chicken penne back on the menu. Please …

Food was good but the service was terrible. Waitresses were constantly conplaining about how bad the kitchen was openly in front of the whole restaurant and directly to customers, had to wait over an hour for our meal, waitress ignored our table while she paced back and forth accomplishing nothing. Didnt even offer to refill our drinks or check in seeing how long the food was taking. Heard other customers complaining about orders messed up and people getting the wrong orders. Feel very sorry for the kitchen staff with the servers throwing them under the bus and not offering to help out at all. Paid $100 for 2 burgers and 4 drinks, quite overpriced especially consideringthe negative atmosphere and terrible service. Overall a terrible experience. I'll not waste my time or money here again.

Really enjoyed the pizza. Not greasy at all. The pizza crust is crunchy and the toppings are fantastic. The sauce has a bit of a kick, which is a good thing. The service is great and they care about their product!

Excellent customer service and I’d your looking for a good pizza and an amazing salad, pick the Greek Pizza it’s loaded in green lettuce and olives and onions and it takes so so good .The pizza is so good ,try the #20 so so good !My son loves chicken strips ,and can’t stay away from there .Best chicken fingers and fries !Im a regular now forever ,I’m so glad the finally have a good pizza place now with so many options
