Stopped by for quick bite, food was good and service was wonderful. A bit pricey. Ambient of the restaurant was ok, we were sitting at the kitchen windows side, not much decor at all. Indeed it's kinda out of place with "curtain" ro coverthe kitchen window.
Had the seafood linguine. The seafood was nice but the pasta was overcooked.. and the sauce was lacking flavours. The service was very interrupting which I found odd as it was not even busy when we visited.
We had 5 star service tonight. Amazing food. Incredible service .We will recommend to our friends and family. We mentioned on Open Table it was our anniversary 1 and this restaurant delivered by surprising us with dessert. Waiter was fabulous. Visited from Toronto Nov 8. We had reservations for 7pm but they kindly took us early just after 5pm. 5 stars. Highly recommend. Outstanding waiter.

Everything about this place was amazing, the food the service the knowledge of the menu. The steak was cooked to perfection. All of the pastas were on time visually pleasing, and the taste was up to par with that. The only bad was that...... no tiramisu or creme brulee. The staff was there when you needed that like they knew. If you can check them out.
Had a nice dinner here with family. The food was good, love the steamer clams and calamari. Lamb chops was well cooked as well. Only give 4 stars because the waiter was not on top of our orders, and keep forgetting stuff… it was a busy Saturday day night, but the service can be better.
Very good route at surprisingly low prices for the area.

A cute restaurant right next to Sonoma train station. Super convenient and cute restaurant with fresh tasty food and an amazing hostess. We only tried couple items but we plan to be back for more.
In Sonoma it is not real easy to find a restaurant open on Tuesday or Wednesday. Luckily we found Jacob’s. This is a small family business. The service and staff are great. The server recommend wines were very good. We ordered bruschetta 4/5, calamari 5/5, and a pizza half Sonoma 5/5 and half ham and pineapple 5/5. The pizza crust is very good.
This is a hidden gem!! Off the beaten path but with incredible food. Food was fantastic and service was incredible. We had an incredible beet salad with Burata- which was delicious. Followed by an Eggplant pesto pizza with sausage that was delicious. Even the chicken wings were great. It all made us want to they their non-pizza offerings like Lobster Ravioli or pan Seared Dover Sole. We finished everything in just an hour, including taking care of the bill. It was pretty empty when we got there, but by the time we left it was starting to get busy and our waitress was able to keep everything moving, and the kitchen was quick. We ate there around 6:15 on Wed night and there weren’t very many people there- even during a busy harvest season in October. If you want some gourmet food without needing the fancy ambiance or high price tag of most restaurants in the area this is your spot. A real hidden gem.

The Valley Breakfast was an explosion of flavors. You could taste each ingredient with each bite. The chilaquiles were perfectly spicy and each tortilla chip had just enough beans. The side of bacon was flavorful and perfectly crispy. We are going back tomorrow.
My daughter and I stopped in here for a quick nibble at the bar. Our wine paired nicely with our hors d'oeuvres and my doppio espresso was quite tasty! We had a nice time sitting there mingling with staff and other patrons...and our server was very personable and attentive, which always adds value to the experience! Looking forward to coming back for a full dining experience!
They have a small, but not crowded indoor space. The back patio outdoor space is great. Covered by a tent and mostly out of the elements. The service was inconsistent. Sometimes good and other times slow. The food was a bit disappointing. Pecorino with fava beans 4/5, asparagus with Tonnato and capers 3.5/5, barbacoa 4.5/5, and the fried chicken 3/5. Like most of Sonoma the wine choices were good.

We had lunch today, It was our first time, as we moved back here just a few years ago. Everything we had we had was superb, so much flavor and a beautiful presentation. The Roasted Octopus was perfect, will always order it when I return. Paella - my husband had, he said it was the best scallop he's ever had. I had the Pork and Clams, beautifully cooked. The sauce was crave-able! It all was terrific. We sat inside, loved the room, we felt so relaxed, rustic yet elegant. We felt very taken care of by the warm staff. They all made our special occasion one to remember. We can't wait to go back.
Cozy inside atmosphere. Outside seating available which would be perfect on warm balmy nights. The waitress was very knowledgeable about the dishes on the menu. The Scallop appetizer was amazing, scallop was soft and tender! The Beef stew was on the dry side.
The restaurant setting is beautiful! The service is friendly and great, the waitress knows the food. The tomato salad was delicious and tasty on the warm summer day.

Great atmosphere, huge diner menu choice & brilliant service. Clean restrooms too. Starbucks Oxford service station UK, could do with a lesson from you, in how decent customer sanitation should be presented. Well done.
Perfectly poached eggs with corned beef hash and home fries. Very generous apple pie ala mode. Excellent value
My family went out for breakfast and my cousin wanted to revisit after eating there with his fiance, we had a great time. The staff was very attentive and kept us posted on our wait time, I'd gotten a bear claw that they make in house and it was delicious! There was a minor slip in the beginning with our drinks, a decaf got switched around but the staff were very quick to remedy this and were super the rest of our time. When we revisit the valley next year we'll definitely stop by again, this is the second Black Bear we've gone too and both the service and food is amazing!

Food is quite good (salmon, 4 taco combo, sweet waffle fries) but service can be slow. Some waiters are not as attentive compared to those in other restaurants. Especially when it came to refills of drinks.
The atmosphere and service were great! The Korean Cauliflower and Fish were awesome. However, the kid's Mac and cheese had too much butter and therefore became lumpy and grainy. The black bean burger was ok, but the binding was lacking and it fell apart very easily. The menu was on point and had a ton of different options. I would highly recommend this place as it had lots of seating options and awesome vibes.
Large and spacious. Sat outside and ordered the 4 pack taco. 2 fish and 2 pork. Also had a draft HopMonk IPA. The fish tacos are the same as the fish and chips menu item. Just smaller. The fish tacos were good. The pork tacos were dry and could have used some sauce to kick em up a notch. The beer was refreshing. It would be nice if you had the option to have all fish tacos. I say check it out.

Quiant with high quality fare for you and your family. Located in the wonderful town of Sonoma, we found this a perfect place to celebrate a bday dinner. If you enjoy variety and nice presentations.... you'll love this place. We came during a week day and seemed like a pleasant and friendly local hang out. Parked directly in front with plenty of free street parking. Super friendly and professional staff. Food wait was very minimal and everything was delicious. My favorite was the goat stew and duck breast sliced thinly. We'll definitely come back upon our next visit to the area.
A favorite when we visit Sonoma. Many different options for food and drinks. Small portions x 5 makes a tremendous meal with variations. Fun to share each dish. Sweet to salty to spicy. They have it all. Great service as well.
I’ve been here twice and it just keeps getting better. Woke up craving tapas and drove 1 1/2 hours to come here. The food is outstanding. Each dish is prepared so well, is flavorful, and tastes fresh. The staff is so friendly! I opted for the 5 tapas meal. Soooo much food! Be prepared to leave stuffed.

Amazing experience. Their pesto gnocchi is phenomenal and what made this a great visit for us was the hospitality. The staff is the sweetest and genuinely cares for you to have a beautiful time there. Loved it!! ❤️❤️
As soon as you walk through the entrance you are transported. It's a charming and delightful spot, and I was seated next to a fountain in the courtyard. Every moment was absolutely lovely. I started with insalata mista, added a side of olives (must try!), and enjoyed the bread and olive oil. The bread was slightly sweet and not warm but quite good. Save some for the pasta sauce! The duck ragu was a special and I didn't realize it was ground duck, but it was delicious either way. There's nothing like freshly made pasta and this was superb. I enjoyed it with a glass of Pinot noir. Vidal my server and he was attentive and graceful, I hardly noticed as he slid past to fill my water and make sure I had everything I needed at every moment. He surprised me with a glass of Moscato after my meal. It was a true delight! This place is a gem and I highly recommend it.
Highly recommend this restaurant! The service was wonderful, the food was absolutely fantastic, and the atmosphere in the courtyard was just beautiful. We loved the experience here, and every menu item we tasted was impressive. Their penne featured some of the best Italian sausage I've ever had.

The Sonoma Plaza continues to surprise me with new discoveries that I have overlooked in the past. Entering the El Paseo courtyard from the Plaza, near the Sonoma Mission, you will come upon the outdoor seating for the La Casa Restaurant. You can also enter the restaurant inside from here. Another entrance is directly in front of the Mission. I ordered a chicken burrito, chips and iced tea. This was one of the best burritos I ever had. Everything was delicious, and the service was great. Some places offer food that is good, but La Casa was exceptional.
Location is great. Nice outdoor seating in court yard behind restaurant. Average food. Good margaritas. Service is very good. We ordered guacamole 3.5/5, and soft tacos carnitas 3.5/5 and chicken 3/5. Chips and salsa 3/5.
Happy Hour here is delightful! Especially out on the patio on a summer’s evening. The Margaritas are refreshing! I had a chile relleno as an appetizer. Yummy! La Casa is at the heart of old Sonoma at the Plaza.

**Review for Maya Restaurant** From the moment the tortilla chips and salsa hit my taste buds, I knew what kind of experience was coming. The chips were bland, and the two salsas, red and green, were equally flavorless. Hoping to switch things up, I tried the guacamole, but it was disappointing as well. I ordered the “Giant Burrito,” which the menu claims is too big to just be called a burrito. Let me tell you, there was nothing giant about it except its giant disappointment in flavor. After a six-hour drive with nothing to eat all day, this place was a letdown. I’m only giving two stars instead of one because, despite the blandness, the food was at least edible (maybe because I was starving), and the staff was friendly.
My husband and I were visiting friends in Sonoma and they invited us to join them at Maya's. Our friends love this place and I definitely see why, the food, service, drinks, everything was great. They were quick to seat us, they were friendly and the dining area was nice. We were there doing the peak dinner hour and it was packed, however, they were quick. The dining area appeared small but I noticed they were able to accommodate a fairly large party. The restaurant has a casual and comfortable atmosphere.. The food tasted quite authentic. I decided to order the Panucho which consisted of a tortilla stuffed with black beans, your choice of steak, chicken, cochinitas or veggies, I decided on steak. It was topped with cabbage and it included guacamole, pico de gallo and sour cream. I highly recommend it. They made a really good tequila drink, definitely, enjoyed that!! My husband had the Grande Burro, it was a pretty good size burrito and he gave it a thumbs up. We plan to return when on our next visit.
Great lunch, however there was a group of ladies (maybe 6 of them) making a lot of noise next to us, and the acoustics are not great. We had a hard time making quiet conversation. For and drink were fine though.

With a group of friends, we ordered several pizzas all of which hit the spot. My favorite was the fungi. Also tried the Farmers Lught beer. I would pass on it unless you like Bud Light. Staff were very nice, responsive and helpful. Very s0acious with both interior and exterior seating. I say checknit out.
Food was good. My coworkers and I shared several plates. The pizzas had good reviews by then. I had the club sandwich, and it was solid. Good sourdough bread. Salsas were solid as well. Overall, good food. I would not hurry to come back but would have zero issues returning.
Grabbed lunch during my tour of Napa and Sonoma and was craving some pasta! I went right at opening time and the place started filling up quickly. Their service was really friendly and helpful! The pasta was great and coffee was normal. Many reviews highlighted their pizzas but unfortunately I was a solo diner and doubt I’ll be able to finish an entire pie! Will definitely return if I’m in the area again!

We had the best experience there at El Dorado kitchen! Service was excellent and the food was delicious. I was there celebrating a good friend’s recent engagement. The restaurant saved us a private lunch area and created a mini menu. I had the chicken and my boyfriend had the short ribs, so good! Definitely recommend to anyone looking ti make a group reservation!
Food was excellent. I can recommend the corn risotto (needed to add salt and pepper for a boost) and spinach ravioli. The vegan plate was also good. The seared scallops had been billed as the stand out dish and was somewhat disappointing as it didn’t compare to scallops on cape cod.
El Dorado continues to be our favorite in Sonoma. The outdoor patio is lovely. The staff are super friendly and professional. And we love the food! I think the Paella is one of the best anywhere - nice pieces of salmon, mixed with mussels, sausage, squid and a delicious saffron rice. The appetizer of crispy Brussels Sprouts is also exceptional- you should try it. In summary, highly recommended!

My husband I were visiting Napa and Sonoma for our birthdays. Through a bit of research, I found Cafe La Haye. I'm so glad we had the opportunity to dine here. I had the risotto and added several shrimp. My husband had the bolognese. Both were outstanding. A Happy Birthday butterscotch pudding and a apple fruit crisp capped the evening. The service matched the food and the whole experience, really, it was great!
A small charming restaurant just off the Sonoma square, this lived up to the hype of being on the Michelin list. Upon entering, check out the chalkboard specials - we ended up ordering three dishes from it. Everything was amazing - fresh ingredients, bold flavors. Particular favorite was the scallop, salmon, and uni starter served with daikon radish and micro greens in a light ponzu sauce. The vegetarian risotto was one of the best I’ve tasted, and I almost always order risotto if it’s on the menu. It was the perfect texture, and I would describe it as fresh tasting. Our server recommended the yuzu cheesecake, and it did not disappoint. In hindsight, we should have ordered two.
Delicious! Worth a visit. Wonderful service, food, environment. We’ve visited a few times and it’s a reliable choice.

Wonderful dinner experience at the girl & the fig! The tomato soup of the day was perfection. Highly recommend the fig and pork belly sandwich. The butternut squash was cooked to perfection. The drink menu really has something for everyone, even delicious mocktails. I appreciated the special touches for my birthday. We had exceptional service!
I have been wanting to come to this restaurant for a very long time. I was not at all disappointed the food, the atmosphere, the wine selection, was all great but I must admit that the service was best of all. Thank you for providing us with such an amazing experience! We are here for a long weekend and it will be hard to not come back before we leave even though we want to try some other restaurants.
Came for brunch on my birthday 9/9 and I am so happy we did!! Our experience was definitely 10/10!! I ordered an espresso martini my way, and the bartender executed the cocktail perfectly! Start with the cariar dip and pork belly/Gruyère omelette (the dip was soo good and I’ve never had an omelette so fluffy in my life) we also got the cheeseburger (which my husband devoured) and the flounder dish (I have a gluten allergy, and they were graciously accommodating). Our waiter was outstanding, and to top it off, Kim came around and made our already amazing experience even better! This was our first visit, but now The Girl & The Fig has made its way on our go to Napa/Sonoma list every time we are there! I can’t wait to go back!
