Champ Burger is a vibrant and innovative fast-casual dining establishment dedicated to delivering an exceptional burger experience. Located in the heart of the community, Champ…
Their burgers are better than super burger across the street, but they still seem to use frozen patties or they just taste like them. The patties could be better. It's an average burger in my opinion. The hot dog, which my friend got, looked and smelled very good and was absolutely loaded with bacon.
I’d give more than 5 Stars for service if I could. Just passing through and there was another burger place across the street. This one just looked friendlier. So glad we did. Great counter service for a new customer. Excellent, and I mean EXCELLENT Bacon Cheeseburger. The Nashville Chicken was also fantastic.
Was treated to Champ Burger; their pulled pork poutine was flavourful, would have liked more sauce, and their burgers were great. April also enjoyed the most yellow banana milkshake ever, too. ... A charming and simple breakfast and lunch spot that makes an excellent alternative if you’re driving through the area and don’t feel like the lineups down the road at Super Burger. It’s very accommodating for young children and offers a kid’s menu. Breakfast was basic and affordable with good quality coffee.
I think it was okay. One plate of food came out about 5 minutes before the rest of the table's which I felt was odd as there were only 3 of us and one/two other tables in the restaurant. This probably bothered me the most but I didn't need to bring it up to the server because I could tell she knew. For me, it's proper table manners to wait for everyone to have their food prior to beginning (especially when there's only three people) so that was a while to have the food on the table to wait. (Yes, I know I could have started, but that's rude and I don't feel comfortable eating if others don't have their food). I did rate the atmosphere higher as it was quiet and not too busy, until around the time we left.
Waited just about an hour for food that never showed up. I asked how long it would be. They hadn't even started it yet. People who got there after us and a gentleman ordering take out (also after us) got theirs first. Our waitress was nice, the other waitress was not. Was told they were "busy" (they had maybe 5 tables of customers) If they were busy then why did the gentleman who ordered takeout get his before us? I ended up paying $2.31 for my one coffee and leaving. Drove an hour out of our way to go there. I am a cook and in customer service, I get people get busy. But my $2.31 coffee should have been on the house in my opinion. For reference we each (2 of us) ordered a club sandwich and fries, and 1 side of onion rings. Thr take out gentleman got 2 full bags of food. If I could give this place a 0 I would. If you are going to eat there be prepared to wait a long time and get attitude from the staff.

I normally have had a great experience with New Orleans in Shelburne but last night we had ordered a pizza and when I got home I opened the box and the pizza cheese was burnt and the pizza had no pizza sauce on it. We also ordered nachos which ALSO was burnt ( BLACK) to a crisp we could not even them. Very disappointed and I believe the woman who was working knew she did not do a great job because she passed the tipping option on the debit machine for me.
The girl added her own tip on the debit machine. If she needed the extra money that bad fine she can have it. But I think I should report this to the head office
Used to be my goto for pizza in the area for many years, but not anymore. The last year and a half, the service and quality have declined. Delivery would take too long and usually missing items. The quality of the food is not great nor cooked properly. Seems like corners are being cut. Edit: The link provided in their response leads to a 404 error page.

Absolutely a delight. Well worth the wait. Serve was wonderful and cook was so helpful with one of us who had a diet restrictions due to health issues. The chef listen to the restrictions and created a separate sauce to help so to make the meal more enjoyable for us. The food was incredibly. Very good French food. Go asap as the chef is selling the business and I’m sure the food quality won’t be the same as it’s hard to cook like this.
A lovely quaint restaurant with outstanding food. I consider myself a foodie and it takes a lot to impress me. Every course was delicious and perfectly seasoned. I had the tomato and goat cheese tart as well as the beef tenderloin which was cooked to a perfect medium rare and had delicious crispy shaved Brussels sprouts accompanying it. My husband had the tuna tartar and the St. Jaques (scallops) he say he would order the scallops again in a heartbeat. We shared the butter tart crepe for dessert. I love a good butter tart but often find the filling too sweet. This filling was well balanced and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The chef stopped us on our way out to check how our meal was and was so friendly. More people need to discover this restaurant!
Unbelievable very authentic true blue French cooking was well worth the visit. Very friendly and very helpful as 1 in our group had food restrictions due to health issues. Sadly the owner is selling this restaurant and without the cook it just won’t be the same. But for now while he’s still there it’s well worth the visit.

The food was really good however it did take roughly 45 minutes to recieve our appetizers after watching people come in after us! We are a family of four so maybe that was the reason! The patio was a nice spot to have dinner with friendly people all around us!
Good atmosphere. We stopped by on our road trip. Food was okayish. Pork ribs were not soft neither the sauce was flavoured. Felt like sauce was just rubbed before serving. Cocktails were not up to the standards. Have a good atmosphere though. Patio is good.
This is going to be long but worth it. For all of us heading north or south through or more accurately around Shelburne, take a few minutes to go into downtown. There are a few choices of places to dine. The focus of this review is The Duffy (The Dufferin Public House). We drove through downtown Shelburne, and out of the corner of my eye, I thought I saw an old church turned into a restaurant/ bar. We did a u-turn. My eyes weren't playing tricks on me. We parked in front of the old, restored Towne hall. We took a look at Shelburne on foot, walking through downtown. We found a couple of restaurants but decided to head off to Duffy. This was the church turned bar (some of the seats were even church pews). We weren't terribly hungry, but somehow, our plates ended up very empty. I ate meatloaf, a great one, my spouse had the mac and cheese. A good selection of local taps were available. They advertised that their patio was dog friendly, and I met one of their canine clients, an adorable well-behaved silver lab named Cody. Next time you're passing through Shelburne, go into town and enjoy a sit-down served meal with a beer for less than a burger and shake out at the intersection of highway 10, 89 and 124.

Our first time here and we'll definitely be coming back! Cheyanne was our server and she was very knowledgeable and kind in her recommendations and in making sure we were still doing well with our meals. Great food, great portions, great prices and variety!
Great pub style restaurant with a crazy variety of options on the menu. All the dishes we ordered were delicious and we will definitely be back to try more. It’s not often you find an establishment that offers so many options and different tastes and delivers well on them. So glad to have this option in town
Stopped by here on Monday afternoon, on our way to Waterloo from Parry Sound. We found this place airy and hospitable, the draft beer was smooth and cold, and the menu was actually bountiful ... almost too many options. We settled on their smashburger and butter chicken bowl with their daily special soup as starter. All food was deelish (we only had to salt to salt the fries a bit), but overall, we both enjoyed our meal. The service could have been a tad more attentive (our waitress forgot our refill on drinks), but she made up for with a friendly banter and witty conversation. There's no reason not to stop by next time we're in town ... you should do the same.

Fried Rice, sweet/sour chicken, mixed vegetables were cooked well and flavourful. Inside of spring roll was a bit mushy. Overall quality food. Happy to find a nice food option that's deliverable in the small town.
Update: February 25 to Present: So far we have tried C4, C6, L01, (with both chicken and pork) L04, and L12. We've found that the low mein noodles, spring roll contents and rice to be fairly mushy and unpleasant but any of the dishes with just meat and vegetables we really like especially the broccoli. We will keep trying new things on the menu and venture away from the combo meals and lunch specials. *staff are always super friendly and helpful. Pre-January 2021 (previous owners) Photos 1-5 Ordered 3 times in the past 2 weeks, first 2 times were good during the week when we ordered the specials for one: C.1 and C.5 however not good on this past weekend with a $65+ order. Shrimp was mush and tasted rancid which followed with mild & severe gastrointestinal side effects over 2 days for my family. Was not able to enjoy or eat leftovers in fear of getting worse in case it was not just the shellfish that was the issue. Beef with vegetables and chicken balls were great tasting despite the negative experience.
I had the deep fried chicken and poutine. The chicken was excellent, very juicy and crispy and the portions were big enough it was bursting out of the box. I was let down a little by the poutine which uses melted shredded cheese and the fries needed a bit more salt, but I expected that dish was not their specialty. Service was very polite and quick for my online order, I will definitely be coming back again.

Went to this place to try the pizza. Very happy that the lady upsold me from a medium to a large as it was cheaper. Pizza was good. Like reading the history about the place on the wall
I am utterly disappointed in the fact that this location prioritizes the students and making pizzas for unknowing customers then to tend to the customers who had placed orders BEFORE the student rush even started. We were told 20 minutes before anyone even showed up and we waited 40 minutes. The pizza wasnt even started until the rush died down. I have worked for the johnnys pizza in alliston so I KNOW how long it takes to make a pizza so i know they were too worried about getting the slice pies in before placed orders. I will NEVER come to the shelburne location again. It sucks because the pizza is always good but not for this service.

The service is pretty good, but the rice was dry ( was served the bottom of the rice pot). The mint mayo sauce is really nice. I got the chipotle chicken bowl. Portion wise, bar burrito is better. Not worthy coming back to ♀️
Excellent Nachos! Butter chicken and rice entree was all sauce and no chicken. I took photo and returned it next day. Lady at front was apologetic, said new cook probably forgot to include chicken as the meal was only sauce, and offered to make it right next visit. Returned to today to claim my credit thinking they would go above and beyond, not so much. I asked for simple salad in lieu of rice this time. Butter chicken this time included two miniscule bite sized pieces of chicken which I had to literally search for and salad was diced lettuce used in tacos sprinkled on top of the gravy. Wasn't gonna leave review, but wife said to praise the nacho's and leave my 2 cents about butter chicken. What's really strange is the photo on their flyer features butter chicken entree, loaded with chicken,-you would believe this was their signature dish! As they say, once bitten, twice shy. I may still patronize this establishment but definitely be shying away from the butter sauce!
Food is very high quality, with great flavors and delicious sauces. I had the chance to meet the owner, and he is such a kind, warm, community-supporting man. You feel his dedication and sincerity immediately, and he has kept prices low, which is very thoughtful in today's post-COVID, price-jacking world. Will be a regular for sure and welcome to the community!

Beautiful cafe. The food is hot and tasty! The staff is very welcoming. Definitely going back very soon
Very nice place, great food at very good prices. Just a little load on the patio as the trucks run through all day long.
Everything here was awesome. The lady was so sweet who was serving us food and the ambience was absolutely refreshing. Food was very delicious. I am looking forward to visit there again. I had a breakfast there and it was just fabulous. I use to think about visiting there since long and now I think I cannot let go of it. The dish was absolutely scrumptious, bursting with flavor and utterly delicious. The aroma of freshly baked bread filled the air, enticing everyone in the room. With eager anticipation, I took a bite of the warm omlette and my taste buds were instantly awakened. Each mouthful was a symphony of flavors, from the nutty undertones to the hint of sweetness. It was truly a culinary masterpiece, a testament to the skill of the chef. As I savored every morsel, I couldn’t help but marvel at how something so simple could be so utterly delicious. Thank you for this amazing experience They also serve dinner on Friday!
