Best Restaurants Open for Newyears Eve this year in Shediac – 2024

I really enjoyed my meal here with my mother. It was nice sitting beside the window. I hadn't noticed this restaurant before because it's tucked inside Hotel Shediac. The service was great, and the food was too. I ordered the maple salmon and it was so yummy. I got it with roasted potatoes, and it came with a deep fried pickle too! I look forward to returning someday.

Absolutely delicious! We had mussels in pesto, the scallops with maple and fish and chips . All were the best ! Well done chef! Service was top notch and the restaurant itself is very classy . We will be back for sure .

Husband and I went there for the first time and it was perfect! Service was friendly, food was delicious (club sandwich with fries and asian style sandwich) and the overall experience was just great! Will be returning for sure! And bonus, VERY affordable. Our bill for 2 was under 35 (without including the tip). Highly recommend this little gem if your looking for "diner" classics or try something new

Came here this morning for a quick breakfast and am quite pleased. Straightforward breakfast sandwich and good orange juice. We also tried the coffee and breakfast potatoes, both solid choices. The cafe was quite comfortable and the host was very nice and helpful. Solid choice for a diner breakfast in Shediac.

I took my mom here and we had such a lovely lunch!!! The service was fantastic. The food was delicious!!! The prices are great!!! Will definitely go again!!!

The service was amazing. We were hosted by a very nice lady. As for the food, I highly recommend this place for their lobster roll. It’s a little small, but the taste is probably one of the best lobster rolls I’ve ever had during my East Coast trip. The slightly sweet mayonnaise made it so light and tasty! However, I tried the Acadian meat pie (warning if you’ve never had it!!!). I’d never had it before, so I wanted to give it a try. Let me tell you, the meat was so dry—pretty much like a meat floss pie—it felt like eating sand. I had to finish it with two glasses of water! The flavor was good, but oh man, that texture is just not something I’ll enjoy. So take my warning before you order!

Went here for dinner. Great place. It mentions games so we weren't sure what to expect. It's a bistro for food but for an extra $10.00 you can p lay a game. They have 1700 different games to choose from. My math may be a bit off but this is a great place with good fresh food. I had the lobster roll and my husband had the lobster quesadilla. They were both delicious. Glad we stopped here.

We were here for our Anniversary dinner. The menu is diverse but reflective of the Acadian culture and seafood focus of the area. The food was delicious. Amazing Caesar Salad. Generous lobster in the club and delicious desserts. A great selection of cocktails, craft beer, and non alcoholic options. The restaurant has an"Alice in Wonderland" theme and has a huge selection of board games. We will definitely be back.

When it comes to Chinese food, I prefer the simpler products. Good and fresh rice, various chicken selections, and ribs are my go-to. My lovely wife likes all types of Chinese food, and for her, this restaurant failed her, but not I, and this is my review. Enjoyed my meal and left satisfied.

Great value for money. Delicious food. Enough in the combination plates for two people. Chow mein was crunchy and flavourful. Chicken balls had the right amount of meat to batter. Everything was well seasoned. I didn’t use my soya sauce.

My husband has been going here for years and there's been little things here and there that he never complained about which most people would, especially them using stale buffet items to fulfill his take out orders instead of making it fresh but he's way too nice and easy going to make a fuss. Last night he decided to call for them to make his order right because some of his food was burnt to an absolute cinder and was inedible, instead of being met with the response that you would expect, they treated him like complete garbage, not only did they not bother to resolve the issue, they argued with him back and forth and then he ended up having to drive all the way back to the restaurant sick as a dog to return his entire order and get his money back. Really? Clearly this establishment has no respect for long time, loyal customers and we will never eat here again. We will happily migrate our entire business over to House of Chau who not only makes incredible food (which in my opinion is way better) but also has incredible customer service to match. Shame on you for taking advantage of the nice guy Golden Era. Two thumbs way down.

The combo rolls are too large and fully filled with vegetables, crab and fried shrimp, The lobster and salmon on the roll tastes like heaven . The sushi pizza is crispy outside and soft inside. The tempura is crispy!! All fresh and perfect! The food is healthy and great, so I keep going kuro sushi!

The most impressive place. It's worth visiting just to enjoy the interior design. You can endlessly look at every little thing and even forget that you came to eat;). Like us ;). The food was great, the service too. I'll definitely come back here. Very nice and cozy place, nice calm music. A real place to relax.

The most enchanting restaurant! The photos don’t do it justice—it’s decorated with such care, charm, and precision that you’ll be mesmerized by the details. It makes for great fun while you’re waiting for your meal—which wasn’t long for us, by the way, despite the fact that it was rather busy at the time. The sushi itself was so fresh and delicious. Great options for vegetarians here and some vegan options as well. I had the tempura tofu and tempura yam rolls. The food was amazing, and combined with the charming decor it turned the outing into a true experience. The staff are friendly, helpful, and attentive, often coming by for water refills before we even had to ask. The prices were very reasonable and their selection allows for a quick snack or a full meal. Truly a destination—we are from Moncton and it was worth the short trip to Shediac for a meal. We will absolutely be back soon!

Visited around 5 pm and oddly I was the only customer in the restaurant. Friendly greeting and even more impressive, the food came out in under 1 minute which made me assume it had been sitting under a heater however, the chicken was fresh and the fries were piping hot. Good visit. Merci.

$32....for that. The fries are bigger than the clams and the taste was absolutely awful! But the fries were good. Everything else got thrown out. If you ever go eat here, I only recommend, Fries/Chicken/Gravy. Don't get the seafood.

This place was good up to recently. The food is now pretty bad. The chicken was overdone, the chicken spice didn't taste like Dixie Lee - just dried noname fried chicken. The bread is no longer buttered, just a dry bun. The ketchup on the tables is disgusting and warm. The fries are okay though. Go back to real Dixie Lee chicken and get rid of the cheap terrible ketchup, please

If you are traveling through Shediac and need to stop for some delicious food in a homey atmosphere, then this is the place to stop. The food is delicious and the servers are friendly. My husband ordered a steak and it was cooked to perfection. He's picky about steak so complements to the chef on a job well done. I had a breakfast sandwich and it's the best I've ever had. Check this place out.

Friendly service; we had to wait for a free table but took it as a good sign ;) They were full! Very busy, yet still friendly. We couldn't decide if we wanted lunch or breakfast, so we were given both menu cards. As you can see in the picture, we decided to go with the mix, which was a great choice. We were very hungry but still found portions big everything tasted great. A spicy sauce for wings is really spicy our food was served quickly, but we didn't get a coffee refill. We recommend this place.

My husband and I stopped there yesterday after an appointment. To our surprise the menu offered a large selection of meals. I took the "Potatoes Skin" so good with home made sour cream and cheese. My husband took a hot chicken which was also very good. Their peanut butter cheesecake is really good.

Amazing sandwiches, atmosphere and service! We came in for breakfast and decided upon the Chapati breakfast. Wow!It was so good with a freshly baked bread and generous filling. Friendly service and great value. Highly recommend!

First took forever to order. Because they only had one person out front. Than when order came we had to get our own cutlery and napkins and another table had to get their own menus. We ordered 3 egg omelets, they were more like 1 and a half with every mushroom from fu he kitchen in it. The toast stone cold and the plates were dirty underneath. We got 1 cup of coffee and the waiter never came back. I've ate in truck stops that had far better food and service.

Route 66 is everything that we expected. It is an unpretentious old school dinner that offers solid breakfast. The menu is not extensive, which translates into quality meals. The staff is super friendly and welcoming.

I highly recommend, we ate there for the first time on the weekend and had the best breakfast that I've ever had. Amazing food & great customer service. Can’t wait to go back again

Kainan sa Shediac restaurant is so clean and the food is authentic Filipino dishes. The owner is friendly. Very close to the popular big lobster statue.

Awesome place. Went in as a blind pick while visiting New Brunswick and camping in shediac. Was really missing Filipino food out as there are no Filipino restaurants where we live and this place did not disappoint. From the pork Sisig, tapsilog, and halo halo at the end...it was all really good and on point. Friendly staff as well! Will be back next time we come to Moncton and surrounding areas.

Awesome food and warm welcoming. They are really efficient and quick at serving us. It was literally the best Lobster rolls I ate in my entire life! The fried clams were so perfectly cooked: crispy and tasty. It was sooooo delicious with their homemade tartrate sauce. Poutine was really big but I was a bit disappointed by the sauce and the texture of the cheese.

Very fresh sweet scallop, great clams! I love their homemade sauce. Great friendly staff! Fast service consider we got 5 people Infront of us. Highly recommend.

First time at Lenny’s and I certainly will be back. Service was fast, friendly and efficient. Ordered the 3 piece chicken dinner, not greasy, great soft crunch, tasty, fries were cooked to perfection, coleslaw was really good too. Simply place your order and they call your number when it is ready, even have PA system so that if you are sitting outside on their patio area you can still hear your number. Lots of parking and Washrooms on site. Oh yea, Great prices too! Highly recommend! Musn’t forget the photo opportunity with the big chicken out front :)

Unexpectedly came across this restaurant for breakfast and were extremely impressed. The food was amazing, service was attentive and kind, and the prices are great. We ended up going back on our last day for breakfast because we couldn't stop talking about this place.

Good breakfast. Great service. Simply menu. Great sausage and eggs. Simple interior. Stopped there twice during the vacation, will return!

This is honestly the best place in Shediac. Cute place, friendly staff and I've thoroughly enjoyed everything I've ordered. I love the garlic bread turkey melt and blueberry bliss ice-cream so much! ♥︎

The vegan soft serve was to die for! It was smooth but not too rich, it was a light serving for such a reasonable price as well. The service was lovely, so sweet, almost as sweet as the ice cream! Seriously recommend! Will be coming back when we’re back in Shediac!

This place is simply amazing with the best vibes and awesome staff, so welcoming and greet you when you come in. The menu with all the combo's it was hard to select just 1 meal because they all looked delicious. I ordered the combo #10 & a cold drink from their mini fridge. Barbeque is my favourite as it is soft and purely just meat. And the sauce was nothing like I’ve ever tasted. We also ordered an avocado shake, halo-halo, cheese hotdog with fries. Nahurot gyud og kaon kay puros lami. ❤️ Shout out to Ate Melody and the staff for the warm welcome. Lahi ra gyud kung makakaon ka og restaurant nga maabi-abihon. If you ever happen to visit Shediac, New Brunswick and are looking for Pinoy food, duawa ni ang Sarap. ❤️ Update as of 11.1.2024: We bought the fried chicken this time, and let me tell you, they were juicy, the skin was crispy, and they were seasoned right at least based on my palate. So, even if it’s quite far from Moncton, we will come back because the service and quality are consistent, plus they have other food on the menu which I’m sure is delicious. The food reminds me of home. ❤️

Hands down the best clams and fish.Tge fish was super hot and tasty. The fries although not cold was not hot Luke warm at best .it was super busy for a Sunday night but still got our order in a timely manner .Much better than the competitor

Great for a quick bite on the road! Parking for trailers/RVs around back and lots of grassy areas for the dog, too. I wished we tried the fried clams (they looked really good), but our fish and chips were good. Really generous cod portions.

We recently visited The Fisherman restaurant, which was recommended by a YouTuber, so we decided to head there for lunch without checking any reviews in advance. We simply trusted the recommendation. We arrived just before 1 p.m., and when we opened the door, the restaurant was almost completely empty. For a moment, we thought it might be closed. Just as we were about to leave, we noticed a table with diners and, upon further inspection, spotted a few staff members on the far side of the room. After confirming the restaurant was open, we decided to stay. As for the meal itself, if I had to sum it up, I'd say the restaurant lacked any distinctive local flavor. You wouldn’t know you were in a seaside town known for lobster, as there was nothing special about the dishes we tried. We ordered the well-known fried oysters, the famous lobster roll, and classic fish and chips—typical for a seafood spot. The oysters were incredibly fresh, but beyond that, nothing stood out. However, the IPA beer, which was locally brewed, was excellent and left a lasting impression.

Pretty large selection of food. Reasonably priced aswell. Would definitely go again.

Stopped by here for lunch had bacon wrapped scallops, their Chowder (absolutely amazing by the way, had the all along pur road trip) and the seafood linguine. The taste was spot on and nothing was over cooked. Delicious!!! Service was fast and efficient. Biggest bang for your buck in my opinion
