I’ve been wanting to stop by for years and finally got the chance being in Selkirk. Ordered a green juice and was surprised that they literally press it right in front of you! Was so cool to see exactly what goes in my cup and that it was as fresh as it could possibly be! Tasted amazing was a fair price considering you could see exactly how much produce you use up for juicing. Will definitely be back as it is hard to find places with non dairy options
The food was absolutely fantastic! The building itself seemed rather run down and old and they seemed short staffed for the amount of to go orders. That being said it was still a positive experience and have recommended it to others!
WOW!!! I can’t believe I haven’t tried this place yet in Winnipeg. I’ve always heard great things and I must say, everyone was right. This place is delicious. The quinoa salad was probably my favourite dish. My mom’s favourite was the Thai wrap, it was yummy! The bikini bottom smoothie…yum!!! I’m literally drooling while writing this review and I haven’t even touched on the dessert. That double chocolate cheesecake was PHENOMENAL!!! We can’t wait to try the Winnipeg location now. This is high on the list of new favourites. HIGHly recommend this place.

Ordered the personal nacho platter with a meat option of chicken to go. I asked the waiter for the best taste and value for your buck. I took this home in a pizza box and it was delicious, filling and true to the waiter’s word! It was a personal serving so wonderfully filling I could barely walk my generous frame away after I was so full! Good job On the Rocks, you will see me again! With a drink and tip only around $21!
I like this place. The food is excellent and the staff are great. This weekend they hosted a number of dance groups and bands for the Holiday Alley festival.
Thursday night Wings special $5-$6 baskets Tried Nacho, Honey lemon pepper and Jerk Chicken. Many more flavors to try

Thought it'd be nice to go out with my toddler and husband for some drinks and food after a day of errands. The service was slow, we wanted the lounge menu and it took 10 mins to get. Food took approximately 20 minutes and came overdone and 3/4 items weren't even hot. We had 3 drinks, 4 apps and it came to over $100. Definitely not worth it.
The big fish out front is my sons highlight of our drive to my parents cabin on weekends! Great place for food, great parking, clean restaurant, and the manager Alana is the kindest women! 12/10 recommend this for your stop for food on your way to the interlake!
The food is always good , my only deception was the fact that the waitress brought us our check without us even asking for it or even being done with our food. And she brought it twice in 10 minutes … i mean was it because we were speaking french or because we had a (very calm non crying) baby with us? The restaurant was half empty so its not because they needed the space. It was rude and made me feel unwelcome

Love this Japanese place owned by the sweetest family! Very courteous service, welcoming atmosphere and hospitality. Tried numerous things on their menu, their sushi rolls are amazing.
Had their L14, lunch special, Spicy Tuna, Salmon, Shrimp roll with mizo soup. If you enjoy rolls you will be delighted here. I will be back to try other rolls very soon.
Suuuper good, like- unbelievably delicious. Their gyoza never misses, their sushi is always a classic, the tempura is always crisp and their ramen is undoubtedly spicy but I just can’t get enough of it ^^ I would consider myself a regular, the two ladies that help us with service are always friendly. The food is 100% authentic for being located outside the city. 100% would recommend ^^

Have visited a few times over the last month or so and it's decent. The food was good, no complaints but also nothing to rave about. Generous servings. There is one waitress that is absolutely amazing, definitely a fun person to interact with and does an amazing job. There is also a waiter who told us the wrong price for the special and worded it in such a way that we were left to assume salad was included when it wasn't, so that was a surprise when the bill came. Overall though a good dinning experience.
Our server was lovely, and she served us as quickly as she was able to. The decor of the restaurant was lovely. The food was good.
Stopped here while on a drive to Selkirk. First time eating here. The food and the service were both great! I had the Reuben sandwich which came with fries and cole slaw, it was all fresh and tasty. Will definitely be back.

WOW! We just happened upon this little restaurant and this is by far the best vietnamese cuisine we have had in ages! The waiter was amazing as well. He over heard me talking about maybe needing more sauce i turned around and there he was bringing me more! The food was incredible!
I was craving a vermicelli bowl badly, saw a ad for this and checked it out on Instagram. Decided to take the gf last friday and was not disappointed at all. Service was great! Brought waters first thing, food came out very quick, everything was very good, prices were reasonable, and the sizes of the dishes were amazing! Very big portions Will forsure be going back again. Awesome little place
Really enjoyed the fresh food here. Service was over the top w friendliness. We tried 2 bowls wonton soup, 2 salad rolls & sizzling beef plate, all were 5* scrumptious! And filled us right up! Only minor setback (and he warned us) was kitchen was backed up so took 30 min to get food. Can't wait to go back to have some Pho!

Atmosphere is not applicable as we had delivery. Selkirk dominoes is still one of the fastest pizza deliveries in town. For a cursory pizza place the pizza is still really decent for the price point on the deals. Little more sauce and toppings would be better, but life everything else right now harder for businesses to turn a profit. They called to let us know that they were out of one of our style crusts we ordered as it was an order half hour before they closed at 3am, so they confirmed they could switch to another route of crust. Which was good in then vs just doing it without asking like some other places might have done. Driver was really friendly and just added to a positive experience. Again I was not ordering I high end pizza from a homemade top end pizza place, we ordered from a franchise and got what we expected.
Would be really nice if the delivery drivers showed any level of respect for the neighborhoods they deliver in. My roomate likes to order pizza around midnight. Every time one of the drivers pulls into our driveway, he has terrible bass music blasting in his car. Enough to shake the house and upset all my neighbors for sure. Never used to have this issue before the noticeable shift in ownership.
Ordered tonight for first time from Selkirk location. Said pizza would be delivered in 40 minutes was here in under 30 minutes. It was hot and fresh and simply delicious! Loads of toppings and cheese with just the right amount of sauce. Will definitely order again.

Only ever gotten take out from here and it’s been a seamless process each time. Pizza is always there and ready when we arrive after ordering online. It is kept in a pizza warmer oven to stay hot and it works quite well! Fresh, tasty and consistent pizzas from this location. Our favourite is their Thursday pizza of the day Deluxe one!
I recently visited Pizza hut and had a fantastic experience thanks to team. They crafted the perfect pizza, with a delightful balance of flavors and a perfectly baked crust. Front desk soft-spoken demeanor added a personal touch to the visit, making me feel valued as a customer. I truly appreciated the friendly service. Overall, it was a wonderful outing, and I highly recommend stopping by for a great pizza!
Medium cheese stuffed pizza and another one just for a $1. That is a great deal.

Love this spot...don't take my 4/5 as anything but that it's a classic old school bar, staff are fun and edgy so forget the kids and I always sit on the bar area. Food is very generous and tastes great. Thurs is wing night...a must do. Never ordered this burger before. Chilli Burger... spectacular.
Highly recommended - this is a must stop for when you’re in Selkirk. I had the chicken thai wrap meal and it was first class
Looks are deceiving! When we first walked up to the restaurant there was a sign that basically said that if you could do better, submit an application. That should have been our cue to leave. Upon entering there was a bad smell throughout the restaurant. We sat down and ordered, and our waitress was alright. Not rude, but not really anything amazing. The food was brought out quickly with crazy large portions. The flavour was mediocre but not horrible. Could definitely get better elsewhere. About 2 hours later my boyfriend and I started to feel sick with stomach cramps and more. Felt sick until the next day, where we still suffered a bit from stomach issues. Nothing that pepto or tums can't fix, but to spend 60 bucks for stomach issues is not a fun time. Definitely will never go here ever again.

Food was great but atmosphere was slightly depressing or sad. I would come here again but mostly because that's the only BP in Selkirk. I have been to better BPs.
(edit upon going back) Coming back i had a much better experience with the food being hot and delicious. first time review: Although the food was met with typical standards, the service was not. Our waitress was passive aggressive for my dinning experience. “Whoever wants it” (proceeds to put down a glass of water strangely) she checked in once to see how the food was and didn’t come by for refills only to be “dropping” them off. The A/C seemed to be on blast as well, bring a jacket in case.
I was invited to have a birthday dinner in Selkirk. I drove from Winnipeg. The food portion was big, the salad is delicious, quick service, friendly staff.

Been here sparingly during the summer. Their food isn’t great for the price, but their ice cream and sweets are great! Got their swirl cone (small size) and they give good portions for the size and price! Was super good and fresh, flavours were delicious. Tried their pumpkin twister seasonal treat for fall and it was yummy as well! Would not recommend coming here for food, but a solid dessert place! *Note they only take debit cards or cash*
I previously saw a sundae photo purchased at snak shak and thought I would try it. I love chocolate and this sundae did not disappoint! The young lady that served me was friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend the hot fudge sundae! Delicious!
I ordered the taco salad. This shouldn't be on the menu as far as I'm concerned. It has a sweet sauce of some kind. I have never had a taco salad with sweet sauce on it, this is not traditional, and nor was it mentioned or displayed on their order board. it was disgusting, my wife tried it also and said its gross. Called spoke to someone they agreed to replace my 10$ taco salad with a tiny 6$ hamburger. I fully expected that snak shak would make an effort to make this right in which case i would not be writing a negative review. But no they did not, i was insulted with a tiny 6$ hamburger after paying 10$. I now have to go somewhere else to order food, im still hungry. Snak shak, do better. I have clearly been ripped off. A further update to this is after a week I received a message from the owner offered me another 6$ hamburger to make this situation right. too little too late. I will never be back to this place, and I will share my experience with friends and family. Disappointing when you give a business a second chance, and they don't make use of the opportunity. I'm not sure why people eat here or support this place...

An update is definitely needed on the website, went on a Friday and there was no lunch buffet as advertised. The restaurant is really nothing special and is very dated. It looks like it’s been around for decades and smells like it too. However, I enjoyed their Cantonese Chow Mein, the flavours were tasty but the portions were pretty small; 2 shrimps, 2 pieces of chicken, 2 pieces of beef and 3 pieces of bbq pork, a couple pieces of cauliflower, a couple slices of carrots, about 4 slices of mushrooms and a whole lot of broccoli, on a small bed of noodles. Drinks are expensive at $1.99 a pop or bottle of water. Service was strange as we had to fill out our own order bill with our order preferences… never in all my years was I expected to do this at a sit down restaurant. I was actually really caught off guard by this. The waiter said absolutely nothing to us the entire time and it made me wonder if he actually spoke English. Although, I would go back and try other dishes and consider a take out order in the future. Very strange experience but the food was flavourful. Update: had take out the food was decent but the portions are rather small.
Before I even start, this cost 75$ + tip, Ordered the breaded veal combo plate, 2x breaded veal, deluxe rice, 6 spring rolls and honey garlic sauce (the containers were barley half full). Not even half an hour after eating 1 plate me and my roommate are feeling sick (I threw up just after eating it). The rice tasted like it sat out all day, breaded veal was soggy (picked most of the breading off) the honey garlic sauce( if you can even call it that) was just gelatine with chunks of garlic in it. For 75$ all the containers were less than half full, my roommate got part of a carrot in the mixed vegetables ( which had 3 pieces broccoli, 1 piece of carrot, 4 pieces cauliflower with no seasoning at all) there were 4 pieces of pork, 4 pieces of beef and 3 pieces of shrimp in the “deluxe fried rice” (and a couple mushroom pieces). We estimated about 50$ for all of it, when we got told 75$ we were taken aback. The only half decent thing was the spring rolls. It’s my birthday and we just wanted some half decent Chinese food, this was ridiculous. Last time we ordered was the same thing, we thought ordering on a weekend it would be fresh, we were wrong. I guess no more Chinese food until a new place comes to town. I’m not a person that does google reviews but after this as my birthday dinner I’m now feeling sick, go to Lockport instead (golden spoon). I should of taken photos but after not eating since noon I was pretty hungry (we were opting for BP at first which I now regret not getting). This was the first time I’ve ordered 75$ worth of Chinese food and barley had leftovers.
Food was outstanding, the flavours in the dishes we ordered were very appetizing, spicy and flavourful! Service was great, fast efficient, the food was hot & we had the food ordered to go. The place is a little outdated but those are usually the best tasting restaurants! Thanks again will see you again soon.

Tried out this Indian place since we’ve passed by and seen it so many times! Ordered my usual go-to for Indian food: flavours were great and delicious. Their naan is a harder and less fluffy than other places I’ve had. Maybe just a different way to making them, but still tasty! Would try their other menu items since it’s quite large.
Came here by accident since where we intended to go was closed and were pleasantly surprised. Great food and very nice staff. Had Tandoori sizzler and Paneer that was great but we were so hungry we forgot to take a picture. Samosa appetizers were great.
Delicious! First time visit. The main food came in these metal style bowls that added a nice touch to the aesthetic of the meal. I had the Karahi Paneer veggie curry with garlic naan and it really hit the spot, it was so good! My husband had the lamb vindaloo and was just as pleased! We tried a couple desserts at the end too and they were fun, different, treats to try! Very pleased and will definitely come back to try more! I hope this restaurant sticks around! *Edit: picture is of the desserts. I didn't get a picture of the curry.

Best Bar ever can't wait to come back. Lots of parking and seating as well . Lots of great service
Quintessentially the best small venue for live music in Manitoba. GREAT sound. Their slogan does not lie. Very welcoming staff, great management, excellent hospitality is given to the touring acts that roll thru town. It's more than worth the 20 min ride from Winnipeg to catch a show at the merch. Its outshining a LOT of the popular small venues in the city.
decent little.small town barn...not the greatest selection of beer though...stockex with alot of small towner beer. Bathrooms were super clean, as was the rest of the place. Nice big outdoor space as wll6
