My husband bought this for me for my birthday. We live in Albuquerque and had eaten in Santa Fe many times. I was thinking it would be all standard NM food. I was pleasantly surprised! There was a great mix of NM history and NM foods combined with other places unique to Santa Fe that highlighted how eclectic the city is. Lauren is warm, friendly and genuine. It’s clear she has a passion for what she does and meeting new people. She also has great relationships with the chefs and other people in the food industry. Lauren was great to ensure we all got to ask questions and enjoy our food and drinks while also moving us forward so you didn’t feel like you were dragging. She was generous with suggestions on places to go and to eat. We have friends coming in Nov and plan to book with Wander and Lauren again. Best, Billy and Bobbie
Our bachelorette party had an amazing time on the walking food and drink tour in Santa Fe! Lauren, our guide, was not only funny and kind but also incredibly knowledgeable about the rich history of Santa Fe and its diverse culinary traditions. Each tasting stop offered the most delicious samples, showcasing the unique flavors of the region. From traditional New Mexican dishes to modern culinary delights, every bite was a treat for the senses. Lauren's passion for both the food and the city's history truly enhanced the tour, making it both educational and enjoyable. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore Santa Fe through its incredible food scene! I will definitely reach out to Lauren next time I’m in Santa Fe! She has all of the best recommendations!
This tour was phenomenal. The food we got to sample along with a couple of Margaritas were outstanding. Lauren is a fabulous tour guide. La Choza should be on your plans for lunch or dinner.

This place came highly recommended by locals and we were not disappointed. Our food was fresh & delicious and service was impeccable. Their prices are reasonable as well. We only had to wait about 15 mins to be seated for lunch on a Saturday. Check this place out if you're in the area!
We are visiting from Denver, we were recommended by a local so was excited to try it. We went at lunch hoping it would be less of a wait because the previous night we tried to go at dinner and they said it would be 1.5 hours so we made a dinner reservation for few nights later instead. Lunch was about 15min wait. Our waitress Arissa was friendly, it did take a little longer to get things we asked for but she was very busy so it was understandable. We are vegetarian so we got the Queso to start which was really good! It comes with free cheesy garlic bread which I thought was interesting, it was good. For the entrees we got the Spinach enchiladas plate that comes with vegetarian posole and Green chile vegetarian tamales plate. It was all very good, no complaints. The red and green chile is pretty spicy but we like that. We got a mocha cake to go, it was so tiny! Not worth $5 in my opinion. All in all, we liked it but probably won’t be going back, there are New Mexican restaurants that we like better.
Food and beverages were great. So was the patio and live music. Our server was awesome but the host desk pretty much ignored us. They seemed more interested in looking through receipts and such than even acknowledging us. Didn't even bother telling us it would be a minute. My wife finally just sat down at an empty table and then, and only then, did they even seem to know we were there. Good place though. Just need to work on customer service at the host desk.1

Our first time here, the food was amazing, our waiter was very professional and courteous of our decision making. The atmosphere was very nice, Santo Domingo native inspired design as well as native decoration with old timey objects hung as decoration. Definitely a place to bring my family to.
This is a great place to eat! Their happy hour (3-6pm everyday) is a great value and definitely worth getting there early for. The menu is diverse without being overwhelming and everything is priced really well. The plates are large and the food is fantastic. Devon, our server, was friendly, knowledgeable, and checked in regularly to make sure we didn’t need anything. This place is a great value with lots of delicious options. The prickly pear margarita was fantastic, lightly sweet and tart with lots of great flavor. We’ll definitely be coming back!
Never came here before and eventually came here with family. The service is alright and they help you a little slowly but I can't blame them cause of the amount of customers they have. The food on the other hand is amazing! I love the salad choices they have and the plates are HUGE but with an affordable price! I love the deals they gave like the soup & salad. The nachos and the brisket plate are a personal favorites of mine and the wings are DELICIOUS! They have a wide variety of food and a clean atmosphere.

on arrival: • We were greeted by the chef and host with open arms and a smile from all the front staff. • Seated, We were seated in a dim lighted area and the setting was very romantic ❤️ and immediately was greeted by Jesus' and welcomed us in and got our water which he kept full all night. • Our Waiter, His name is Julian was so informative about the drinks and menu which was awesome being our first time in. Seems like the entire wait staff worked together. Including the chef & manager were there to make sure everything AAA. • The food... Well I can't even start to tell you how different and yummy it was I will let the photos do the talking. • Over all... The whole staff made this an anniversary to remember and we found a new dinner spot in Santa Fe. They made us feel like family even on the way out the manager walked with us to the door thanking us for being there. I FOUND NOTHING BUT PERFECTION HERE. HAVE NO DOUBT you will be treated Five ⭐
The culinary experience and service were exceptional. The mole sampler, presented as a delightful surprise upon arrival, was a standout dish. The extensive wine and beverage menu complemented the meal. Additionally, a unique visit to Santa Fe, conveniently located near the plaza, provided an enriching experience. It is important to note that the prices are high. I observed the servers’ efficient and classy manner of handling multiple plates simultaneously, which added to the overall ambiance.
Great first experience here, we even got to meet the chef! This place is rated top 10 in the US and I would say it’s worth the try. Very friendly service, good description of the menu offerings and the seating had a nice ambiance. Very unique dishes and flavor profiles. The bone marrow was rich and tasted amazing. The signature soup was a good try and had so many flavors combined into one bowl, a bit too many for me. Highly recommend if you’re in the Santa Fe area!

We like this long-time Santa Fe favorite for its clean and crisp dining rooms and sleek modern bar. But we love it for its outdoor courtyard, which is one of the best in Santa Fe. The old trees, bronze sculptures, old well, fountain, and birds on the wall (look for them), and outdoor bar combine to make it a great place to hang out for lunch or dinner. Heaters make it comfy in cooler weather. The food is always great, as is the service, and a surprise awaits as you pass the bar, if you are looking down.
SantaCafe has become one of our favorites in Santa Fe. The food is outstanding and service is equally way above average. Our waiter was Johnathan and he is clearly a professional. He was very knowledgeable about any menu items and was attentive to our needs while allowing us to have our conversations. I highly recommend!!
One of my favorite dining spots in Santa Fe has become a regular go-to now that I live here. This restaurant offers a delightful alternative to the abundance of Northern Mexican cuisine that saturates the area, providing a refreshing variety to the local dining scene. During my recent visit, I had the pleasure of being served by Kyle, who truly enhanced the experience with his attentive service. He took the time to engage with us, greeting me warmly and even remembering my drink of choice, which made me feel valued and appreciated as a guest. However, a small drawback is something that seems to be a common theme in Santa Fe: many establishments close their doors relatively early. We found ourselves having such a wonderful time that we were the last patrons remaining in the restaurant. Had they been open longer, I’m certain we would have continued to enjoy the evening and lingered a bit more. Despite this minor downside, our experience was overall fantastic. The food was exquisite, the service was impeccable, and the ambiance was inviting and beautifully curated. I can’t wait to return and make more memories at this lovely spot!

We had the most enjoyable evening here! The fondue was our favorite! But the coconut shrimp with the sauce will also be ordered again. The atmosphere with Doug Montgomery playing the piano can't be beat. He's incredibly talented and so entertaining. He'll also play requests. I would've been happy to stay all night if Doug would've kept playing!
Beautiful spot for a nice steak dinner on the Santa Fe Plaza. Great atmosphere for both indoor and outdoor seating. We were pleasantly surprised that they had a private parking lot, so we didn't have to fight the crowds to find a spot to park. We got reservations for our group of 15, and everyone enjoyed their dinner! Service was excellent also. Some of the dishes were elk steak, prime rib, filet, flat iron & enchilada, ribs. The calamari with fried green chilis was very good, as was the brussels sprouts appetizer. Half of us enjoyed the cream brulee, although it was a touch firmer texture than we were used to. Just a heads up- the au jus and creamed spinach were both flavored with whiskey, which a couple of people in our party did not particularly care for.
Excellent entrees, good appetizers and desserts. Above average service from all staff. Very comfortable, upscale but casual atmosphere. Semi private seating nooks. Tight parking lot behind the restaurant. Located right next to the Roundhouse. Personally while I enjoyed the boar bacon appetizer it appeared to be easily available products from local stores. So... it felt a tad lacking somehow. I didn't care for the personality of our waiter but he did a fairly good job. The cocktails and wine were great. The salmon dinner with lobster sauce was incredibly delicious. Everybody liked their food. The blackened steak was spicy hot. I will also add that of all the side dishes, the baked potato was not hot or fresh in texture. I will return and look forward to trying the elk entree. Birthday = free dessert. Or If you bring in a cake of your own, they charge a $15 cake cutting fee.

It was a bit dark but the food was great. The buffalo tartare was amazing. The pan seared trout with the corn cake was delicious. I actually liked the corn more than the trout but the trout was very tasty. The corn cake was spicy, sweet, and salty. It hit every note. The staff was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place and will be back.
The manager, Drew, was incredibly accommodating to my family. I cannot express how grateful we were to the management & staff on our behalf. My husband and I loved the farm to southern fine dining concept & the chef has executed it well. The roasted beets were light & dressed perfectly. The seasoning on the duck fat potatoes was chefs kiss. 10/10. The steak melted in our mouth & the sweet potato mash was flavorful & a great pairing. But the seasonal vegetable was by far the shining star!!! The flavor - was … so goooood!! My husband said we have to start cooking yellow corn polenta at home immediately!! Lol. Ashley, our server, gave us great recommendations - she did not lead us astray with any dish! She was warm, welcoming & kind. Thank you for the dessert recommendation! Overall - vibe, atmosphere, food & service were excellent. If you’re looking for a lovely, special, delicious dinner - please, look no further.
We followed Radish & Rye from its original location in the old Ristra space to its sleek new location a few years ago. The restaurant has the mood, lighting, and vibe of a trendy Manhattan hotspot (Manhattan New York, not Manhattan Street, which is only a few yards away): varying-sized hanging Edison Bulbs, steel structure and staircase to nowhere, and strategically placed barrels and wood. If it's just the two of us we eat at the swanky bar. If we are with guests, I want a table that allows us to see the restaurant as we dine. The menu is creative and upscale, and the food and service always satisfy. Most recently we loved the rich and unique corn chowder with bone marrow (which makes a cool presentation), but I nixed taking the bone home to the dogs (they would have loved it but the rugs would not). The Bison Tartare was excellent and we liked the chef's choice to serve it with homemade potato chips. My wife and friend loved the trout. I really enjoyed the lamb dish but I have a suggestion: use a different cut of grilled lamb, like chops or even saddle. This is a place we often bring out-of-town guests. We'll be back, with or without them.

I had the pleasure of dining at Palace Prime on a balmy night so we took advantage of the cozy outdoor patio. The food was exciting with each dish bringing new surprises to the palate. We were a group of four with varying dietary restrictions. The menu offered numerous and interesting options for everyone. I was impressed by the creative cocktail choices and genuinely and enthusiastically enjoyed my cocktail "The Monarch"! This restaurant is a must try in Santa Fe!
The food here blew my socks off!! Absolutely incredible. The attention to detail and the nuance of rich flavors was unlike anything I have experienced in Santa Fe to date. A plethora of options for the discerning palate and still approachable. Would highly recommend. Service was impeccable and the atmosphere was vibrant and warm.
The new menu at Palace is phenomenal. They still have a couple different steaks, but the variety and quality of ingredients are top-notch. Santa Fe definitely needs hugh quality meals without the stuffy atmosphere. They’ve brought class in contemporary style that is comfortable to dine in. The new interior style is sharp and in the good weather, the outdoor space is so cool. The new chef has clearly introduced entrees from all over the world that we locals are so excited to have!

We were able to sit on the back patio, which was nicely shaded. The food was all really good, but my favorites were the local mushroom pasta special, the lamb meatballs, and the artichokes. Shout out to our server, Brian, who was not only a delight to speak with but also steered us to great bottle that didn't bust our budget. He was so good at navigating the multiple tables he was covering but still making sure each table felt special and heard. The staff was really great, and I noticed that they stepped in to help with each other. The back patio hosts helped clear tables, there were food runners who conveyed info well to servers. There was even a manager who helped clear and clean tables while checking in on guests' satisfaction. Our table neighbors expressed that they had been here before and made it a priority to come back. Based on our experience, we will be back and telling others to make it a stop, as well!
Best Paella I've ever experienced- including memories of Sunday afternoon outdoor Paella feasts on the Costa del Sol. Enjoyed a memorable authentic Spanish meal on the outdoor back patio. Matteo was a professional and attentive server. Took the time and interest so I had an excellent 'first time' experience dining as a single guest even as he was managing larger groups and made a special point to update me on the status and timing of my meal on the last night of the Indian Market. I never felt a delay.... Loved that there is a serving for 'one' Paella option (only $30 and enough for two). Every layer of fresh seafood and rice was cooked to perfection- moist and flavorful. Also enjoyed the Basque Gateau their signature and most popular of their desserts. Thank you Matteo, and Chefs! So many wonderful menu choices....next time I'll bring a friend or go with a group!
There are a lot of restaurants to choose from in Santa Fe but I'd recommend La Boca to anyone interested in tapas or paella. Not to mention an extensive list of Spanish wines! We enjoyed some Serrano ham and then we shared a traditional paella for 1. Plenty of food for us. And it was superb! We had the Pot de Creme and Vanilla cream tart. Both were yummy desserts.

You must have reservations as this place is very popular. Our server, Michelle was superior. She knew the menu and what would be best for our dining. Made a very good wine selection. As our main entree we had steak and my wife had the lamb. The only suggestion is the steak portion was smaller than what I was expecting.
Joseph’s was a fantastic experience. My wife and I and our 15 month old stopped in for an early dinner on a Saturday evening. I gather patrons don’t often bring their baby for dinner here, but the staff could not have been nicer. We sat on the cozy front patio, with ample warmers for late October. We started with the chicken liver mousse, my wife had the steak, and I had the lamb neck confit. We rarely order steak at a restaurant, being easy to prepare well at home, but I’d certainly recommend this steak. Beautiful cut of beef, perfectly prepared and sauced. The lamb was shredded, tender, and crispy with a pairing of veggies and purée (pictured). Wines were exceptional. Service attentive and flawless. All in all, a memorable meal and very recommendable.
My mom was very excited to take me to this trendy Santa Fe gastropub. Only one visit so far, so my impressions are limited. This will be a preliminary review until I can get back here and try more of the menu. GOOD: This is not your usual Santa Fe cliche tourist spot. Only locals come here, and most of the clientele appear to be "foodies." (Not a bolo tie in sight!) Atmosphere is very charming, and I think this would be a great special occasion spot. Service was nice, and I liked the drink list. Duck fat fries were nice, and we all enjoyed the cloud cake. MEH: I actually thought the food was a little underwhelming - more concept than execution. My ratatouille had kale in it for some reason, and almost no flavor at all. I need to come back here and try more of the dishes. Sadly this is a common problem in a city like Santa Fe where most of the leisure diners are elderly. But I don't want to jump to hasty conclusions, and will be back to try more. BONUS: Very surprised to see so many gluten-free options on the menu. My wife is gluten intolerant and I plan to bring her here.

The menu, food taste, and food presentation were excellent. Exactly what you'd expect from one of, if not the best, restaurants in Santa Fe. Service was professional without being stuffy - they smiled and joined into banter between tables. It was cooler, on the evening we dined in the enclosed front patio, and would have preferred a fully-indoor table.
An absolutely beautiful restaurant! Valet and maitre d‘s were prompt and welcoming. The menu is mindfully curated to be elevated, but comforting and familiar at the same time (something I feel some restaurants have a difficult time achieving). The Apple dessert was one of the most impressive culinary confections I’ve seen in all my travels- do not leave this restaurant without ordering it! Our server was perfectly polite and knowledgeable. However, it did seem he was consistently distracted excessively chatting with another table, which at times caused our service to be lacking. We had a table on the patio/porch, which was perfectly lovely until the heater was turned on, which was so robust it melted the butter on our table and at times felt like we’d be placed in a toaster oven. Addressing it with the staff didn’t seem to remedy the situation. Those issues aside, it was a lovely experience.
10/10/10 this place was awesome. Came here for a birthday and was sat on the patio. The server Ryan was attentive and informative. He was extremely friendly, and gave us samples of several dishes. He made fantastic recommendations as well. For appetizers, definitely go for the Tuna Tartare, it’s delicious. The mushroom soup was also creamy and rich without being over the top. Portions can look a bit small to the ear but it is definitely enough for an individual. The Seabass, Elk, and Prawns were all great choices. Our server even brought us out a candle on the lemon crepe my brother’s birthday. I would say that this is truly the best fine dining experience in Santa Fe.

I went for Happy Hour and thoroughly enjoyed it. Had a Margarita and pimientos, which were both delicious. Also had nice conversation. The bartender was excellent.
Cool tapas restaurant on Canyon Rd in the heart of Santa Fe. Easy to make reservations via Resy. We had a table in the main dining room. The food was very good. Had the cauliflower, the serrano ham, the polenta and the El Farol Paella. The serrano ham was the highlight of the meal, it was excellent. Fresh and full of flavor. The Paella was also excellent - it was smaller than expected but that was totally fine for us as we were only two. The service was good also, polite and friendly. My biggest criticism was the speed of service. Traditional Spanish restaurants would space out your tapas and give you time to savor and enjoy each dish. Here they brought all of our tapas at the same time and then brought the Paella while we were really just starting the tapas. We were done in less than an hour which is very strange. All in all I would go again, but definitely ask for the plates to be spaced out. Also they had a good wine list. Some excellent Riojas.
We are from Louisiana, and as soon as we come to Santa Fe? The first thing to do is a reservation for El Farol, best paella ever, las patatas bravas are awesome, the service is great and the food? Is just happiness

I recently had a delightful dinner for two and it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The happy hour, from 4 to 6, offered great drinks at fantastic prices, making it a perfect start to our evening. The tapas we ordered were also quite good, offering a variety of flavors and well-prepared dishes that complemented the drinks nicely. The combination of excellent drinks and tasty tapas made for a memorable and satisfying meal.
Outstanding food, great service and nice ambiance. Caesar salad for two made right at your table (delicious), rainbow trout was very good, steak fajitas OUTSTANDING! If we lived in Santa Fe, we would frequent this restaurant regularly. Highly recommended.
It took quite a while f9r the server to come to our table. A lot longer than a restaurant that charges what they do should make you wait. Once we got over that hiccup, the experience was amazing. The cocktails were made right packing the right amount of punch, and the food was bursting with flavor.

I have booked their private dining area downstairs many times over the last year and unfortunately each time more and more issues arise, although last year all rentals went seamless. The location is beautiful, the restaurant itself is gorgeous, I would dine there with a smaller group in the future but not a group rental. The food was great and always is, compliments to your incredible kitchen team.
We had the pleasure of dining here last night. Our family of three sat at the counter and watched the chefs whip up amazing dish after amazing dish. Paris was our server and he continued to surprise us with suggestions and conversation throughout dinner. One of our best meals ever as a family.
Where to begin? This was our favorite restaurant during the our time in Santa Fe Carlos was our server He just celebrated his 13 year anniversary working there. Needless to say, he was truly a professional. I appreciated that he recommended a wine within my price range because they were out of the one I chose. We never felt rushed during our dinner. The specials we ordered- heirloom tomatoes with basil, sprinkle of cumin. S&P were excellent but the Squash Blossoms were fabulous. I prefer my tomatoes room temperature vs chilled which is my only criticism. Next course, THE mussels!! Wow ! Made with amber beer, hominy cilantro and oregano. When it was delivered to the table, I thought the gal was the chef the way she described the dish. As Carlos would say “Shall we continue?”… onto dessert! Creamy lemon cake like never before. My advice make all your dinner reservations before you travel (you can always cancel) but ask for Carlos at the Coyote Cafe. You will not be disappointed
