I enjoyed my brunch at Finch & Fork. One of the reasons why I chose this place was for their rooftop dining. When I made reservations on OpenTable, I was confused at the seating options. I tried calling, but no one picked up and frankly my friend and I wanted to try this place anyway. The rooftop dining was only during the height of the pandemic. The dining room is now only by the lobby. The decor is nice. Definitely shows that it’s a hotel restaurant. But service was very nice and we got our food quickly. I got the shakshuka, and it was yummy. The eggs were nicely poached - the yolk was runny and added a richness to the spicy tomato sauce. I like the chucks of avocado. The bread with the tomato sauce, egg yolk, and avocado was the perfect bite. Many patrons took advantage of their bottomless mimosa deal, and I think that’s the biggest draw. I ordered coffee and that was nice on a cool Fiesta morning. I think this is a nice place to dine if you’re staring at the hotel. Otherwise, as someone who frequents Santa Barbara, I might not go out of my way to dine here. The menu has mostly a standard brunch fare. And maybe there’s standout dishes their dinner menu. But I’d pass on brunch unless you want bottomless mimosas.
Classy spot with great food and incredible service. We visited to try the new Vegan items on their SB Vegan Chef challenge menu, and we were not disappointed. We got the tostadas from the challenge menu + the mushroom dan dan noodles and the beluga lentils from their normal dinner menu. It was all out of this world delicious. I would go back for the dan dan noodles everyday if I could. They also have amazing mocktails and NA beer. I tried the Spicy AF mocktail with zero proof tequila and was pleasantly surprised. We went on a Monday evening and it was pretty quiet so we got above and beyond service from our server and the manager. The location is stunning. The walk down to the bathroom is gorgeous. I’d come back anytime!
Upon arrival we were greeted by a moody waiter, who kept us waiting for a table for at least 15 minutes because he said that they were not ready. As we were talking and having a good time we didn’t really pay attention. When we were seated we got another waiter, who was friendly and gave us our menus. There was no one in the restaurant except two other tables. He didn’t come back to take out orders for the drinks for at least 20 minutes, again we didn’t have rally pay attention because we were chatting away. After 20 minutes we got our orders in for the food and drinks. (Tea and coffee), that took again at least 20 minutes to arrive. Then we start really noticing that the waiters were just not there. When I started looking for them to ask them where our drinks were, I went everywhere but they were not to be found. When I made a comment that it took a long while when he brought our drinks finally, he said that it takes a long time to make??? Very rude attitude towards us. Food was great. We just moved here and food wise we would definitely have come back several times. Due to the two rude and moody waiters, we won’t.

It's located across from the pier, so convenient for lunch! The staff was amazing so was the inside of the restaurant. I ordered a cocktail that was excellent with berries and mint. I heard that the fish and chips were great so we ordered that and it was delicious. The crispiness was just right and the fish did not taste fishy. They use the rock fish. We also got the shrimp salad, so fresh! Next time we will order some other items we had our eye on!
First, the food is very good!!! The ambiance is very nice. A romantic place if you need one, especially outside by the fire. The patrons next to me were on a mini-honeymoon. The only complaint I would have is for a fish house... There wasn't a wide selection of fish as expected. I did have the salmon which was wonderful. I suspect they do what they offer well, I just expected more types of fishes in the fish house. Approximately 50$ per person including 1 drink. I'd go back. Enjoy!!
Top 5 best fish tacos we’ve ever had. The tuna melt was really good too. Service was quick and our server was attentive. Took a bit to get our check but aside for that it was a great experience.

I love this place I've been going here for around 10 years for my birthday. It's amazing, the food is amazing and the atmosphere is off the chain. All the waiters are your waiters. They have an awesome bread pudding that must be ordered when you order your meal because they make it fresh for you. It comes with the best bourbon sauce you ever tasted. Everyone sings a song together at dinner it's just an amazing place. You must make reservations before you go there. Enjoy people
All I can say is... WOW! This place is fantastic. I knew from the reviews and the fact that it was recently saved from permanent closure that it would be good, but I wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was. I am no NOLA native, but I have been, and swore I would never order gumbo anywhere else on earth, but I am glad I ordered the gumbo here. My mom and I agreed that it was phenomenal. We devoured it so quickly that I didn't even get a chance to take a picture. The gumbo comes with a hearty serving of rice, and since we wanted to save room for dinner, we did not eat all of it, but as I write this review, I wish we did. My mom got the blackened redfish and really enjoyed it. It was perfectly cooked, but she noted it could use a bit more salt. The dish did come with a small cup of a garlicky dressing/sauce on the side and that made all the difference and made up for the lack of salt in the dry rub. I got the crawfish pasta lafitte, and because I am greedy, I added shrimp to it. ;) They do NOT skimp on portions here, even the seafood! Next time I come back, I know now to ask for the shrimp because there is plentyyy of crawfish. The pasta itself was so rich, creamy and flavorful. I could not finish the entire plate. You should plan to bring leftovers home with you, or share it amongst the table. We ended our meal with the bread pudding because it is so highly recommended. My mom did not love it because it wasn't a traditional bread pudding (which they do not claim it to be). I think it had amazing flavor and can see why people love it so much, but after the filling meal we had, we could not eat much of it. Next time, I will try the key lime pie! I would make a trip up to SB from SD just to visit this restaurant, and I am so glad it ended up staying open. If you were on the fence about dining here, please goooo!
The gumbo was delicious and so was the jambalaya pasta. The music was a little loud but manageable. I had the hurricane margarita which was very sweet but still good.

"Located on State Street, we enjoyed an early dinner before the Independence Day fireworks. We ordered burgers and burritos. Despite the holiday crowd and limited staff, the employees did their best to provide service. It had a real local vibe."
An absolutely delicious lunch here with a vast menu from salads, to burgers. Portions are generous and everything is so tasty. I had a salmon salad and ordered the appetizer of chick peas. The chick peas were a touch salty on its own but made a great topping to my salad. The salmon was perfectly cooked and the salad was hearty. The staff are really friendly and the ambiance is great. Spacious, open dining both indoor and outdoor, great selection of alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages and quick service.
Surprisingly very good! Walking around SB and wanted to eat a light/light-ish lunch. We came across this busy joint. Place was easy going and the seating outside was breezy for a sunny day. We enjoyed their pozole soup, calamari, shrimp kale salad and pesto pasta. We came to restaurant again and had different foods; still delicious and orders were nicely prepared.

Make sure to make reservations or have patience for a wait to be seated. Once seated the service is great, waters always filled and ready to ask what you want. The location to the beach is great, which is equally popular. Choosing what to eat seems to be difficult since most items on the menu sound amazing. We ordered the claim chowder fries and crab cakes for appetizer....delicious. my main dish was the Mahi salad and my daughter had the pulled pork grilled cheese sandwich...both very large meals and tasty. We will be coming back to try more on the menu.
What a gem! This place is perfect for the relaxing Sunday morning brunch! Enjoy some amazing food and drinks while soaking up the sun and listening to the ocean waves! The outside patio fills up quick, so be ready to wait if you get there later. And honestly waiting by exploring the beach right there isn't so bad!
My favorite spot in SB!! For breakfast, get the Bloody Mary and the Boathouse Signature Breakfast. For Dinner get the Seafood Pasta. But my all time favorite thing to do is get a Boathouse Margarita at the to go counter and watch the sunset from the beach. One of my favorite little gems here in SB. I tell everyone who visits they must come here!!!

I came to Lure Restaurant during the first week of April for a late dinner and ordered some oysters and Brussels sprouts with a side of fries. The presentation was excellent, and the taste of the dishes was outstanding. I definitely recommend coming back to this restaurant. Atmosphere was refreshing and staff was friendly.
Dropped by here over the weekend for some seafood cravings and I absolutely loved trying this place. We started off with oysters that were larger than any I’ve had before in a warm buttery sauce along with some of their delicious clam chowder with bits of bacon! To top it off, I personally had the fish and chips with shrimp, which was an amazing combo! Can’t wait to be back, beautiful place with amazing seafood.
Lure Fish House offers fresh seafood and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home. The food is delicious, with well-prepared dishes that highlight local flavors. A must-visit spot!

Definitely the best place if you want good French food in Santa Barbara. If I were to treat my special guest or celebrate a special occasion, I'd pick this place. It's on the pricier side even in SB. The scallops were amazing. And the lamb, too. Friendly staff and great service. I'm personally not a big fan of their interior design, but I can see its appeals.
Hello everyone! I wanted to share my experience of visiting this establishment! The quality of the food, the presentation of the dishes, everything was great. But the service is not so good, and it seems that the waiter tried and seemed to be a professional, but he brought one dish instead of the two ordered, although he repeated everything before leaving. And in the end we asked to split the payment, there were 5 of us, for 2 and 3 of them and he mixed up the bills again. But overall everything is good. Thank you
Lovely place with warm atmosphere and delicious food. Not to mention great wines list from local and northern wineries. We enjoyed fresh salad with arugula peached and burrata, and warm goat cheese salad. Ahi Tuna was the best I tried so far. And profiteroles for the special birthday desert. Lovely dinner experience at lovely place. Special thanks to their wonderful people who made the evening even more memorable

I was on a time crunch and got seated right away. Server was very attentive and put my order in right away. Had the swordfish, beer boiled shrimp, and the chowder. Highly recommend each dish! Filled me up for sure. The chowder had plenty of class and was seasoned just right! Swordfish cooked perfect and the amount of shrimp for the price is amazing! Beautiful view of the docks and cliffs!
Such a cute place. We ate upstairs in their restaurant area on their small patio. It was busy, chaotic, and we loved it. The service was amazing and our server Jan was great. We stopped in for some oysters and got steamed clams as well. We also tried their oyster shooters with vodka which were good as well. Will definitely be back when we’re in Santa Barbara again.
I thought that this was a really fun place to eat. Lots of atmosphere and great views of the harbor. Sit outside and stare at the boats while having a beer with dinner. I had the tuna and thought it was excellent. Order a side of vegetable kebab for a few dollars. All cooked (or barely cooked in the case of the tuna) to perfection. I also recommend the salad. I recommend the place if you are anywhere in the neighborhood.

I recently had a fantastic seafood experience at Bluewater Grill at Santa Barbara! Located right by the beach, the views were stunning and the atmosphere was lovely! The seafood was incredibly fresh and expertly prepared. We devoured the fresh oysters, succulent shrimps, and tender mussels - all were absolute perfection! Service was attentive and knowledgeable. Our server helped us navigate the menu and made excellent recommendations with oysters. Highly recommend Bluewater Grill for seafood lovers! Can't wait to return.
First the food was delicious, I cannot say that enough. The selection was pretty good. Maybe I caught them on shift change or something but the service seemed inattentive and had a bunch of young new hires (or so it seemed). I went there about 5 so maybe the dinner wasn't in full swing but for $40 per person, before tip, I think there has to be a minimal service expectation. There were long delays in, initial contact, beverages, complementary bread and meals. Again, kudos to the food and wine. I would go back and try it again if I'm in the area and still give it 4.6⭐s, just for the price the timeliness could have been better.
Good place for seafood. Went to the Santa Barbara for the day and mom wanted seafood by the ocean. Found this place Bluewater Grill. The restaurant was across the street from the beach and pier and had a great location. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The restaurant has 2 floors and the patio seating was upstairs where we sat to enjoy the view of the ocean and enjoy the Santa Barbara weather. The location has 2 bars…1 upstairs and 1 downstairs. Place is probably great to have social drinks. But we were there for dinner. We came a little early. So the restaurant wasn’t too busy which was nice. I had the Wagyu burger and I substituted my fries with a salad. The salad was great. The burger was a good burger. But I won’t lie…it didn’t wow me in any particular way. It was good. Just not great. My wife had the Pan Seared Sea Scallops. While she said her scallops were delicious she said her side, the grits I guess, weee cold compared to the rest of the dish. Her words not mine. I’m not a seafood person and I don’t really know about those kind of dishes. My mother and aunt split the Seasonal Special, (staff was nice to split the meal) the Seafood Paella Valenciana. While they enjoyed the protein in the dish (which was a lot) they had complaints of the rice served with the dish. My aunt compared it to Uncle Ben’s rice. Be aware the dish is called “A Taste of Spain “ and her daughter lives in Barcelona so she knows how this dish is supposed to taste. Like I said the protein was great the rice was meh. My son had the Kid Grilled Cheese menu and thanks to Bluewater Grill my son now loves ranch with his fries. Oh kids grilled cheese came with sandwich, fries, carrots and oranges. Great little kids meal. My drink was a margarita on the rocks. Solid drink. Nothing special. But they did not have Red Bull so I couldn’t have my Redbull and Vodka. Sad we didn’t get any bread when we were sat. Wife said the bread that my son’s grill cheese was served on was excellent and wanted to try their bread. This was a minus for the service. The service was okay. Serviceable at best. Not like they were busy(they weren’t) never offered refills. Never asked if I wanted another well drink. They did ask if everything was good with our meal and the server’s assistant did offer to clear plates throughout our meal. Greeters were nice, Server was nice and Server’s asst was great as well. I will say the atmosphere of the restaurant is great. Totally recommend for couples and groups of friends. Amazingly they have a decent menu for young ones. I would like to come back here again without the kids. Even though I’m not a seafood person this place seemed nice. Also I would like to take my dad here and try out their oysters and have my mom try their clam chowder. So maybe next time. I’ll admit…not a perfect trip but worth another look. Come try them out. Verdict. Probably will go back if I’m with people who want to eat seafood.

Great food, service, and ambience. All the dishes tasted great, but our favorite was the paella. Been there a few times already, and look forward to dining there again soon. The patio area is quite lovely. There are a few parking spots on premise but they get filled pretty quickly.
We had great experience at Loquita. The char grilled was very tasty. The paella was a knock out. Amazing flavours, fresh proteins and punchy all along. Loved it. Great Hospitality, good ambience with lot of seating. Very friendly and lively atmosphere
Food is a bit disappointing overall. Jamon tasting is the best of all. Octopus is soft but too salty. The mushroom is unexpectedly good though. The Seafood Paella, most expected yet most disappointed. Also, we went with two friends celebrating birthdays on the same day. I asked the waiter if there’s any special birthday treatment. He told us he would go check, and then he disappeared! Didn’t even say“Happy Birthday”. Very disappointed service :(

We did the tasting menu as part of a nuptial celebration and absolutely NOTHING disappointed. The service was top-notch, every dish on the tasting menu was flavorful, and the ambiance is modern and tastefully simple. Also, the short rib... I would walk 500 miles......
Our second visit and we decided to do the tasting menu, which includes 8 or 9 dishes to share over 4 courses. Service was attentive and helpful even though the restaurant was full. The food was delicious and reasonable. Highlights included the marrow toast, Brussels peanut slaw, albacore crudo, and braised shortribs.
Fantastic food and atmosphere. Highly recommend the French rose and the coq au vin. The flavors and ingredients are phenomenal i would Michelin rate this place. Don't miss it when in Santa Barbara.

My husband and I dined here for our wedding anniversary and overall had a very nice time! What we loved: the service and atmosphere are wonderful with a few stand out dishes! The pasta is incredible and next time we will definitely be trying more of it! We both agreed that the truffle gnocchi with Argentinian shrimp was the clear winner of the evening. We decided to share that as our “ appetizer “. The fresh truffle was subtle and delicious, not overpowering at all and the gnocci has probably the best I have ever had. I had the crispy salmon and overall really enjoyed the dish. Very well seasoned and the sauces were delicious. We could be improved: they bring you a few deep fried olives to start and it was a poor first impression because you could tell it had been sitting out as the breading was soggy and not crispy and honestly tasted a little bit stale. We ordered the bread and were underwhelmed because it wasn’t warmed or toasted - and for the extra $4 - it really should have been. My husband had the pork, and while it was cooked very well, it was under seasoned and the whole dish just felt like it was missing something. The desert was good. Overall - we had about a 2 hour dining service and felt very well taken care of. They kindly brought out a sorbet for us to celebrate our anniversary, which was a nice touch! Would come back again and get all the pasta!
WOW! We are foodies and live in San Francisco and enjoy eating out - but this restaurant exceeded our expectations and then some. From the fresh strawberry cocktail to the wonderfully fresh and flavorful wedge salad. To the roasted chicken with sublime mushroom risotto and the sausage rigatoni.. And then came the super star of the show - the strawberry filo pastry dessert... You will not be disappointed - amazing restaurant, staff and ambiance - by far our best meal in years! Thank you Toma - we will come back just to eat here again.
Everything about this restaurant was amazing! I had the chicken and risotto, chocolate cake, squash blossoms and their Manhattan. I’m more an old fashioned girl but their speciality was the Manhattan, so I decided to try it. It was one of the better Manhattans I’ve had; not too sweet. I’m also picky about my risotto and there are few places I find that do it well! Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone. It’s a small with limited capacity, so I’d make reservations.

We had two meals here when we visited for our anniversary weekend, brunch and then dinner. Brunch was fine, small menu but good offerings, but dinner was where they really shone. They took great care of us, we enjoyed a long, lovely dinner on the patio next to the fire pit, and all was great, food wine and hospitality. They were friendly and genuine and we just relaxed and enjoyed our celebration. All you could ask for. I would recommend this place to anyone, enthusiastically.
Great spot for dinner. The staff and overall service were kind and timely. While the food was delicious it was often too sweet/rich for a full dinner including the brussel sprouts, cornbread, and squash. The cornbread was outstanding but I would order it for dessert. We did love the tuna and risotto - really great balance to that dish.
Checked out The Lark based on their recommendation in the Michelin Guide. Had a seat at the bar. Pretty cool ambiance and friendly staff. The menu was not my favorite. Some good food but not a lot of choices. Definitely a happening spot. Very packed and full of people. Drinks were very good.

This was our first time in Santa Barbara, and we chose to celebrate our anniversary dinner at Barbareño—and it was amazing! The food was absolutely delicious, with generous portions that left us completely satisfied. The Santa Maria BBQ was hands down our favorite—perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The service was exceptional, making our special evening even more memorable. We’ll definitely be coming back next time we’re in town!
Overall, great place that I would come back to and bring friends. The outdoor patio is lovely and it is dog friendly. The service was excellent and the best I've experienced in recent memory. Our waitress Sarah was friendly, attentive, proactive, and very knowledgeable of the menu. Even with a full restaurant, everything felt seamless so we were very impressed. The food was nicely presented, but tasted just okay. -Ricotta dumplings were a beautiful golden brown, but the strawberry masala was a miss. -Black olive raviolo is always fun because it's a huge ravioli with an egg inside and it takes skill to make. The flavor profile I tasted was more black licorice than black olive, and I felt that the dough needed to be rolled thinner. Fennel puree was great. -Santa Maria BBQ was good, maybe a little one note and the price is a bit steep given the amount you get. -Baked California was a beautiful dessert. There were so many incredible sounding desserts so I don't think we could go wrong with any of them.
Always a fine dining experience. Not super fancy but comfy. Avocado starter is my per favorite.

Food was ok, not great. What was very strange is they were out of coffee beans and seemed to think that was ok. Coffee is a pretty important thing at breakfast for a lot of people. Maybe go buy some beans at the store. Strange enough for a breakfast restaurant to not have coffee, but for a hotel to be out and not look to remedy the situation was even more odd.

We wanted something small and intimate for our wedding reception. JANE was able to accommodate my party of 20. Booking was easy and not stressful at all. Once we got there everything turned out perfect. Our server was so kind and patient and I really appreciate his service. The food was amazing. I’m so happy everyone finished their food. I think we were able to accommodate everyone’s taste. We also ordered their famous coconut cake which was also delicious. The best part was that we got a section of the upstairs area all to ourselves away from the rest of the customers. Loved that we had our own restrooms. This was nice because that way the kids in our party didn’t bother the rest of the guest at the restaurant. Overall I would recommend Jane to anyone looking for an intimate dinner for your special occasion. -One happy bride and groom
What a wonderful dining experience in a very cozy and quaint SB location. We were greeted right away and offered to find a seat of our choice. The room and other guests were very pleasant, music playing soft enough to hear but not loud enough to impede dinner conversation. The staff was very polite and friendly offering the specials of the evening. Eee started with great tasting “Red Rings” which were lightly coated onion rings and a very tasty ranch sauce. Our dinner or Pork Chops, scalloped potatoes and seasonal vegetables. All very delicious and extremely flavorful. With a glass of of Merlot and Shiraz, this meal was made for perfection in our dining experience. This was topped off with a great cup of freshly made coffee and wonderful cheesecake with a home made raspberry sauce. Definitely planning to return for the well touted Chicken Piccata and Filet and more. Agreeably, we have found a great dining spot in SB that gives you a meal, great company and soothing atmosphere which the best in SB area. Stop by you will not regret it and in fact refer it to your family and friends. Ask about the “Jane” story and you will appreciate the restaurant even more so.
Yes all around from me! Super popular spot so make sure to reserve a spot / seats. Wonderful server made our experience amazing. Food was delicious. We sat upstairs overlooking the busy street. Wine is yummy. Parking is on the street.

Fantastic dinner! Everything was phenomenal and worth every penny. The crudo had some many great flavors, the seafood paella was amazing, the octopus was hands down some of the best I’ve ever had. So tender, not chewy at all!
We held our welcome dinner at Loquita in May 2024 and it was AMAZING!! We had dined at Loquita multiple times prior and it quickly become our favorite restaurant in Santa Barbara so knew we wanted to host one of our wedding events here. I worked with Megan at ACME Hospitality to plan the event and she was incredibly helpful and communicative throughout the entire process. We had 30 people and reserved the smaller patio located in their outdoor space and it was perfect. The food was amazing and there was SO much of it. We ended up having a lot of leftovers because of how much food they gave us and our guests were able to take some home, which was nice. People were telling us it was some of the best food and red sangria they've ever had. Mark, our server, was absolutely incredible and was so on top of keeping the drinks flowing for our guests. So many people came up to us afterwards to tell us how impressed they were with him. He was so kind and fun to be around and overall just really great at his job. The food, the drinks, the atmosphere — everything was absolutely perfect. And considering how much food and alcohol we got, we felt like it was a good deal for the price. I highly recommend holding an event here if you're considering it. Thanks you to the Loquita team, Megan, and Mark for making our welcome dinner so special!

This is a really nice place. The service is exceptional, the food heavenly and the atmosphere very relaxing. We celebrated our anniversary sitting along the waterfront, watching the ebb and flow of the ocean, enjoying every minute. We had pasta and seafood, which was like no other we have ever tasted. The evening was truly a celebration.
I think I had the best seat in the house! I loved sitting next to the glass, facing the beach, under the heater! My server was wonderful and the food was terrific! Watching the dogs frolic on the beach while I are was a bonus!

Enjoy!!
We came to this place in the afternoon and it was almost fully packed. We were still able to get a table and lunch. The waitress was attentive and was often coming to the table to check on us. The food was prepared fairly quickly and was delicious. We particularly liked the risotto. It was a wonderful experience overall.
Excellent food and service this place gets pretty packed and we walked from the Hilton Santa Barbara but parking can be very hard. We had the macadamia encrusted Sea Bass and the Sole both were huge and perfectly cooked. I would really recommend the Sole it was like butter with a delicate lemon butter sauce. I also had the lavender lemon spritzer which was more lemon than lavender but still very refreshing. We had a late lunch at around 2:30 pm so it wasn't too crowded but when we walked back from State St. This place was packed at 6 PM.
