I had an unforgettable dining experience at Kid Cashew in Sandy Springs. From the moment I walked in, the cozy and welcoming Mediterranean-inspired atmosphere made me feel right at home. The menu is filled with incredible options, but a few dishes truly stood out. The mac and cheese was unlike any I’ve ever had—creamy, flavorful, and topped with a perfectly crispy layer of gratinated cheese that elevated it to another level. The lamb burger was another highlight, juicy and bursting with flavor, truly out of this world. And to finish, I indulged in a rich and indulgent chocolate cake that was the perfect ending to an amazing meal. The service was excellent, with attentive staff who made sure everything was perfect. I can’t recommend Kid Cashew enough for anyone looking to enjoy delicious Mediterranean-inspired cuisine in a warm and inviting setting. Can’t wait to go back and try more of their dishes!
Restaurant Review: Kid Cashew Kid Cashew offers a laid-back Mediterranean vibe with a few welcome surprises. Right off the bat, I appreciated the convenience of their parking lot—rare and a huge plus! Food Highlights: • Cast Iron Mac & 5-Cheeses: This dish was a winner! I was pleasantly surprised to find such good mac & cheese at a Mediterranean spot. Creamy, rich, and perfectly baked—highly recommend trying this. • Lamb Skewers: Unfortunately, these didn’t quite hit the mark for me. Though I usually love lamb, these skewers were a bit tough and lacked flavor. • All-Natural Half Rotisserie Chicken: Loved this one! It had fantastic flavor, and the portion size was big enough to share or take home. The cilantro yogurt sauce on the side was a fresh, zesty touch that I’d come back for. • Hummus: Good hummus with fresh, hot pita that definitely elevated the experience. • Brussels Sprouts: I didn’t expect much, but these were really flavorful! Kid Cashew has nailed these. Drinks: • Lemon Drop (Tuesdays Special): Added a bit of strawberry, and it was delicious! Tuesdays are a good day to come back for the $7 drink specials, which is a fantastic deal. Overall, Kid Cashew is a solid pick with some standout dishes and a few misses. The drink specials, especially on Tuesdays, are definitely a reason to return.
We stopped by Kid Cashew for lunch and had a wonderful meal. The grilled octopus and trout were both amazing. They also have a great selection of beer on tap, and the service was excellent. Definitely planning to come back soon.

Kennedy, you were amazing! Thanks for the free vegan impossible tacos! I still liked the impossible bun more than the tacos but they were great! I ordered the Vegan Harvest bowl which was a good amount of spicy and very protein packed. Filling and couldn’t even finish half the bowl. Kennedy took care of me quickly and amiably! This isn’t the first time shes attended me so I’m glad she’s still as great as when I first met her. Thank you, truly!
The ramen here was so good! Did not disappoint at all. I was recommended to come here and I will be returning! We got the Gyoza and it was delicious. 100% need to try it if you visit. It’s a great appetizer with 6 pieces. Didn’t make it to take pictures it was that good! If you are vegan there are multiple options. I recommend the spicy creamy vegan ramen which comes with tofu but I added impossible meat for $3! The restaurant seems a little tight and the seating is also very close to other tables. I know it is out of their control but we were sat next to someone with a baby stroller immediately next to me. The server only offered to seat us at the bar but we declined. The music was a little too loud for our comfort and people’s voices carried so it was pretty loud and difficult to hear people in our party.
This is our family’s comfort food! Always a great experience :) My favorite are the rice bowl, Tonkatsu Black and Jinya Spicy Ramen. Parking is okay. On a peak time, it’s hard to find one. Staffs are amazing. Service is quick.

I had my 1 year anniversary here and couldn’t have asked for a better place. I went in the day before and asked if they could set up photos and flowers and with out hesitation they were eager to help. The food was amazing. Our server Dylan was fantastic but yet wasn’t amazed with the service. Seems like we were helped very little but was wonderful when he was around. I’m sure he had a lot of other tables or responsibilities. Pricing was ruff but I can’t complain much when it’s that good. The dinner also came with free champagne and desert which honestly was the icing on the cake for the whole night. Amazing gesture that went a long way (and really helped my wallet). We spent 200 before tip on 2 entrees, 2 sides, 2 appetizers, 2 drinks. I guess that’s reasonable. Over very happy but 5 star is hard to get from me. 4 it is.
From the moment I walked through the door, the aura of excellence greeted me with an inviting service experience. As I was being seated, I noticed the ambiance and the peaceful presence flowing from the Chattahoochee River. Since it was brunch time, I ordered a Garden Omelette with along with a Latte. The service was impeccable! In addition to the amazing service, the server mentioned favorite dessert or theirs and it was called Lemon Butter Cake with Blueberries!!!!! The rest is history……..If you are a breathing and living soul, YOU MUST TRY THIS DESSERT!!!!! I promise you would tell me, Thank you! I am forever loyal to Ray’s on the River.
The Pork Belly Appetizer was full of taste. My main course was Blackened Grouper with a side of Fries. The Grouper was a generous portion. It was seasoned perfectly and cooked to perfection. The restaurant setting was very cozy, perfect for a date night. The bar setting was also great for a ladies' night out or the fella night out. They also have a huge annex for large gatherings. Add this to your to do list asap.

What an absolutely fantastic experience! The food was absolutely delicious! And the service was even better. Our waiter Jeremiah, was absolutely fabulous and attentive and made excellent suggestions. He treated us like he really was happy to be there and that he was happy to wait on us. We had unlimited mimosas and they were amazing and he kept them coming without us having to ask. We started with the char grilled oysters and they were absolutely amazing and packed full of flavor and high-quality. I then had the red snapper as my entrée and the fish was light, flaky, fresh and delicious. My friend had the grouper and it was full of flavor and delicious as well. We were so stuffed we couldn’t eat dessert, but we will definitely be back again. I highly recommend coming to this location. It was an absolutely phenomenal experience and exceeded all expectations for deliciousness and top notch service.
This restaurant is a lovely date spot but also great for individuals who want a tasty meal and cocktail. The service was terrific, and our waiter was friendly and informative. He checked in to see if we were ready for our next course. A great bar is well-stocked with various drinks, plus they play any sports game you request. We shared a dozen oysters, king crab legs, the chopped salad, and one of the specials for that evening with a side of lemon-garlic spinach and truffle fries. Everything was delicious! The king crab legs are well worth the price. I was pleasantly surprised at how much we got and how delicious they were. My favorite drink there was the espresso martini. I believe this is the best one I've ever had! The chocolate shavings on top added so much more depth to this drink.
I’ve got to give credit where it’s due! McKinley and Jordan were bar tending when I came and provided above and beyond top notch customer service Excellent recommendations given by McKinley. I’d definitely have to recommend the Shooting Point oysters if you have an educated raw pallet. I had a wonderful experience and I will absolutely be back!! I was extremely impressed by the combined customer service of McKinley and Jordan. Truly next level. I’d love to bring my ladies here for girls’ night!!

Everything was fantastic! Just what the taco monster needed to be tamed. We could not decide on the style of proteins, so we got the platter. It did not disappoint! The atmosphere was kind of loud and busy other than that, a great experience. We are just traveling through and would come back again.
What a great little adventure me and the family had at the Sandy Springs Rreal taco location. We had some relatives in town and decided to hit up Rreal tacos but was not expecting the amount of effort put jnto this setup. The food was absolutely amazing as usual, drinks were vibrant but subtle, and of course the service was great as well. All of the waiters were dressed up and really kept the vibe for the entire place on point.
Had my husband’s birthday here in the patio with our friends. The atmosphere was great, the food was delicious and the service from our server Fatima was amazing. She went above and beyond to make sure the evening was so special including suggesting drink and food items. She even brought two cakes with a sparkler for both birthdays. We couldn’t have chosen a better place.

We had a lovely dinner at this restaurant. The calamari was absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked and flavorful. The caprese salad, however, was just okay; the mozzarella seemed a bit stiff and lacked freshness. On a positive note, the spaghetti with meatballs was also fantastic, with rich flavors and hearty portions. Overall, a good dining experience with some standout dishes!
I was very pleasantly surprised by the friendly service and not too noisy atmosphere. The food options are limited but what's available is good choices. The calamari and shrimp appetizers were excellent. The freshly made pasta with marinara sauce was great. We were celebrating a birthday and the chocolate gelato was complimentary. I'll definitely be back.
First timers here. It started a little rocky when we were seated in the bar area, in spite of having a reservation. The chairs were lounge chairs with a reclined back - good for drinks and conversation, not for dining. But after we decided to accept the awkward seating, it was all great. Service was prompt and attentive. I started with a Caesar salad, with white anchovies added (only $2 upcharge). We both had chicken parm. Pounded flat with tomato chunks in the marinara. Very tasty and a large portion. It doesn’t include pasta (good for me since I avoid carbs) but my wife added a side of pasta and loved it (only $8). Their pasta is homemade and you can watch the pasta maker for quality entertainment. Savannah was a stellar server. We will return, and look forward to a five-star review if I’m seated in a big-boy chair.

Excellent experience overall for a large work dinner! I don’t normally review work events but I managed to sneak a few photos in on this one. We were greeted promptly and had three severs for our party. Everyone was super nice and made us feel welcome. The service got a little clunky on appetizers because not everything came out at the same time. They did a great job on the main course and desserts. I thought the food overall was excellent. I had the sea bass and it was perfectly cooked and super tasty. The wedge salad with the bacon jam was glorious. Overall this was a great pick for our dinner and I would definitely go back.
I love this place. I came once for my birthday and the owner took great care of me. This time I came for the Christmas decorations and the ambience was amazing. My server Haynes was so attentive, helpful, and quick with our service. I recommend coming to see the decorations change at the bar seasonally. Food is sooo worth the price.
Came back here for brunch. Lovely area and atmosphere. Patio gets wet after the rain, but there's one table for two that stays dry, and was awesome that we could get sealed there. I had peaches and buratta salad. It was good. It sounded better than it was, even though such food is usually right up my ally. There were no grill marks on peaches, and somehow it was just lacking. But luckily my husband didn't mind sharing his fries, very tasty. He had the breakfast sandwich and it was awesome Service was great. 20% tip is already included on the bill. We live in the area and definitely will be back to try other things on the menu as well.
