Amazing service by Amanda and the food was wonderful!! I order Shrimp & Grits anywhere I go that serves them but I am disappointed about 75% of the times. NOT today! They were amazing! The grits were flavored and cooked well, the shrimp was not overcooked and the andouille sausage had just the right kick!! My husband's Cowboy Burger was also just as wonderful! The burger was flavored and cooked medium as he requested. The bun was toasted and the toppings were fresh! Thank you Mr Angelle for a pleasant experience all around!
I think this is our new breakfast place. Two weekends in a row. I had the "Florentine Benedict" & my husband had the "Veggie Skillet". So good!! Beverages were a Bloody Mary & Blueberry Memosa. $5 each!! Our wait staff was amazing. Thank you Nina & Maliena. These ladies work very hard to make your experience exceptional. Never waiting for coffee or anything. Pricing is very good & we love the outdoor patio. We're definitely becoming regulars.
I had this brisket platter.....terrible!!! Before ordering I asked how the brisket is prepared. Smoked and grilled is wat I was told. This is a huge plate I was told. Asked for my sauce on the side so I could taste the brisket. Brisket is just a roast, the pulled pork has the consistency thar it was reheated. No smoke on anything, and the brisket was slathered in sauce. The helpings were small. I got mustard greens for a side.....absolutely zero seasoning on them....the salad was good though!! Waste of $18. Very disappointing!!!

Tables are widely spaced so even if it's full it's never crowded. The space is nicely decorated and always spotless. You order at the counter and they bring the order to your table. Lots of photos for those who need a visible when ordering. Portionare generous but their focus is quality. Flavors are phenomenal!
Very welcoming and great service. Delicious food at a great price. Ordered the Chicken Hibachi to-go , comes with soup or salad for $9.99. I waited in my truck and the Chef brought it out to me hot and fresh about 10 minutes later. Awesome
We stopped in randomly for lunch today and were super impressed! Vegetables were fresh and crisp and juicy and the steak chicken and shrimp were all phenomenal- large sized shrimp were very fresh and not rubbery, chicken was very flavorful and juicy, and the steak did not even require a knife. 5 stars it was delicious and we will be back! Note- I got the dinner size portion and was not upset at the price at all.... Well worth it!

First I have ever stopped here and was very satisfied. I seldom order burgers out, yet it felt totally right today, a bacon cheeseburger and I was right; outstandingly delicious and cooked exactly as I asked. A great view of the river. Service was very polite, swift and attentive. This seems to be a neighborhood kind of establishment that has been here forever, that plenty must know yet no one knows. The prices are reasonable. The atmosphere reminds me strongly of hometown small town friendly as heck grill and beer bar. For those that want a high end, new and pristine fashion decor interior eatery this would not wow you, however those appreciating a comfortable cozy, clean though somewhat dated and homey setting this is all us. It also has plentiful big screens for sports, news or daytime TV watching. Very glad I gave a new to me place a lunch try out today.
Great food. Great prices. Nice view of the river, a little hard to see in summer, though. Local bar atmosphere. Widescreen tv's Low ceilings, pool table, low lighting, lingering cigarette smell. Sandwich, chips & drink for under $10. Very friendly people.
Man oh man. This is so one of those secret little places that doesn't seem to exist but really does, doesn't it? It does and if you can catch it open you're in for a treat. I don't know but I'm betting that those cheese burgers are cooked on one of those old cast iron grills that has been pregnated with beef juice for a long time. OH COLD BEER!! Yeah drinking these beers will just spoil the hell out of you. To be honest I've only eaten there probably once in the last 20 years although I've caught trout on a fly more times around there than eaten there. That will change as of last Tuesday. My wife and I will be back, that's a promise and a threat at the same time. I'LL BE BACK with or without Tony Mimick cause now I know the secret.

Me, my dad, and my sister went for lunch here. Our server Heather was very nice and the food came out fast. The food was great. The reuben was probably the best one I’ve ever had, the calzone was great and perfectly spicy, and the fries were surprisingly good. The mozzarella sticks were good too, and very cheesy. There were a few other groups there but it wasn’t too loud, which is usually a problem in most places but not here. 4.8/5!!
Great food and great service. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. I ordered the Boston zone ($15.99), and it was HUGE. I didn’t know it would be that big and took half of it home. My husband ordered the chicken Parmesan ($19.99) which was slightly overpriced for the portion size, but it was good. We were just passing through Salem and had Mac & Bob’s recommended to us, but we’ll definitely eat here again if we find ourselves in the area!
Portions are huge (straw for proportions). It was good, nothing memorable. They have plenty of space, and tables for big groups. The services was fast. There are a small parking lot on their side. No gluten free options

The Alfredo was amazing base price is $17, added meat is $3-4. It also comes with homemade breadsticks and salad. My son enjoyed his spaghetti and devoured his meatball. We also got a cheese cake for $5.50. I like the prices for the food quality. I forgot to take pictures before we ate! Parking is not the best, but they said if the parking lot is full we can park in the bank behind them (the signs say otherwise. We did we were fine but be aware).
Came here with two other people for a late lunch on a weekend and had a good meal. It wasn't busy when we got there, but there are plenty of tables even if it was. Prices were reasonable, our waitress was attentive, and the building/bathroom was clean. Everything we got was good, but I think the side salad could have used some extra ingredients. Overall, a decent place to eat and will visit again.
Lydia’s was an incredible experience for me and my friends. We were told a bit of a wait when we came in but it wasn’t even half of that estimated time before they found somewhere and made room for us. It was the first day of serving for our waitress, Taylor, but she was absolutely incredible. I used to wait tables and my first day I was an absolute mess. She has all the confidence and personality to be an incredible server. The food was great, service even better, and it was such a cute little restaurant. We didn’t wait long at all for our food despite being incredibly busy. Parking was a little tight, but we made it work. We couldn’t recommend this place enough!

We loved everything we ordered! Everything was new to us, but we were so happy to eat such great "new" food! My husband loved his pepito sandwich. I loved my pabellon criollo, it tasted like a crockpot roast. The staff was very helpful and the restaurant was clean. It's very small with only 4 tabels, but we saw a lot of take out orders. We will definitely be back!
A true hidden gem. In a quiet large plaza with not much going on, this place sparkles like a diamond. The place is very clean, (the bathroom even has wet wipes lol) and the decor is simple but very nice. The food takes a minute to come out but lord that food was GOOD. Worth every spared minute making stuff from scratch. Tried the margarita pizza, the pasticho (venezuelan lasagna), and the pabellon (shredded beef with rice and beans and sweet plantain and a fried egg). Everything was TOP notch. Really good. Super underrated, but needs more love ! Price is really affordable too!
Came to Lenore's with my family a couple of weeks ago, late afternoon, and there was no wait to be seated. Although there were only a few people there, at the time there seemed to be only one server and they were doing their best to get everyone in a timely manner. The server was attentive nonetheless and most of our meal (except for an order at the end) was brought out quickly. We tried a few different dishes and were pleased with the quantity for our buck and the temperature of the food. We would definitely come back, but as a note to parents of infants, there is only a baby changing station in the women's bathroom so plan for that. A few personal opinion food notes: The Tajadas (plantains) were very sweet and the Tequeños were cooked well and very cheesy. The Pepito is a large portion (half-size pictured) so if you don't eat much, go for the half. (It's a hearty meal with good flavors so I would definitely give it a try for a table appetizer if not as your meal). The Fideua had a bit of spice to it so if you're mild tongued, don't get it. Our 35th wedding anniversary celebration and it was wonderful. Excellent food and our server Jack was very attentive and pleasant.
Ordered the 14 ounce filet and it didn't disappoint. Wife ordered the same but a 10 ounce. She loved it! Had the 3 cheese platter as an appetizer and that too was exceptional especially the bacon spread. Only thing I would say is privacy is a slight issue if you want a private atmosphere for an anniversary. Tables on the exterior perimeter are bench style so you are close to others. Overall great place with a great meal. Ask for a private table if you are celebrating.
My fiance and I went to Frankie Rowland's for my birthday dinner last night. I was very excited about this place until we ordered our first round of drinks. She got a glass of wine. I got a- we'll ordered- a glass of bourbon. 42 minutes later she gets her wine, and I get enough bourbon to whet my tongue, as they were out of my requested bourbon. 12 minutes for the replacement bourbon. We arrived for an 8:30 reservation. Our food didn't hit the table until 10:20, leaving us little time to sit and enjoy our burnt food. My $69 ribeye that I wanted medium rare showed up on the other side of medium, pushing medium well, and burnt on the outside. The brussel sprouts were roasted until they had a nice char and bitterness. The potatoes au gratin almost were a no show. Then they showed up- a bowl of flaked potatoes covered in cheese. No layering. No gruyere. Not au gratin at all. For the $200+ I spent on the meal, we would have been better off at Texas Roadhouse. 1/10, never to return. The scallops were pretty good though.

I stopped into this little restaurant because I was wanting something different but the same ol same ol, some good hotdogs. The service waitresses Lydia and Jeanine were awesome!! I was a little complicated with my order ( as always ) I ordered 2 hotdogs with the larger weenies ( a must ), one with chili, plain chopped onions, mustard, and slaw. Second, same thing but with no slaw and grilled onions with a side of fries. Folks they had the fries I grew up on which takes me back to the 80s, CRINKLE CUT FRIES PPL . Everything was very good and I would like one thing to change. I love chili without beans so I wish they would give you option of beans or no beans in chili. Regardless of that I still gave 5 stars across the board. The cooks deserve a HUGE HIGH FIVE because they brought it while making and preparing my food. The surrounding makes you think of ol school 80s and that's a 5 star rating to me. Don't forget to grab a desert, my suggestion is the Seasonal Pumpkin Cream Cheesecake, yummy So if you want something different give them a shot, I don't think you will be disappointed.
I remember this as a good breakfast spot from years back. The lunch we had not so much. Flounder taste like frozen fish sticks, no flavor. Cole slaw was good. Chopped steak had no flavor & poor texture. We took it home to a family member 's dog. I was concerned when the dog did not eat it, but was told he didn't eat while someone was watching. When I came back an hour later, it was no longer on the plate, so guess he ate it much to my relief. Everyone was polite, but not what I would call friendly from the hostess to the server to the cashier.
An old school place with really friendly service, a basic menu, and affordable prices. My wife grew up on this place and introduced me to them on a trip. They have the best mozzarella sticks!

Excellent food, great service, quick turn around with individual choices, real mashed potatoes and hand made burgers. Dessert was blackberry cobbler with ice cream - YUM! Glad we finally made an effort to stop for dinner. They honor first responders too! Well done! We will be back.
Really good food. Great service. Busy busy. Couldn’t take picture of my cheeseburger but it was really good!! Don’t miss out on this place.
Very nice waitress. She dared me to eat all 3 huge pancakes an 3 sausages an eggs for 5 bucks I couldn’t do it the place was nice and clean an friendly 10/10 would recommend

I was in the area and driving back from Tennessee and I had to stop. I really don't eat any kind of fast food often but I make an exception for Chick-fil-A. No matter what Chick-fil -A I go to there's always a line in drive up or inside. The lines seems to move quickly because they're very organized. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I placed my order and told them I was eating there. I was given a standup card to place on my table, and a worker would bring my order to my table. My order arrived within 5-7 minutes and the girl who brought it to me was very friendly. She even checked on us and asked if we needed a refill on our drinks. ( I love the Southern Hospitality.) I ordered two 4 pc Chicken Strip Meals. My order was perfect. Everything I ordered including their special sauces which are so good was correct. While I was eating I noticed the staff was constantly cleaning. This restaurant was spotless. They have a variety of different size tables for eating. I really enjoyed my time here and I would definitely return if in the area.
I can't say enough about this restaurant chain, and particularly, this location. Always such a positive experience! They almost always have 2 lines of cars wrapped around the building but you can trust that you'll be in and out of the drive-through within 5 minutes. The staff are always exceptional - so kind and truly care about providing wonderful service! And the restaurant is always spotless. Excellent experiences time and time again!
Their food is delicious. Chicken is tender and juicy, the bun is soft. Fries is yummy especially their dipping sauce. Worth every penny you spend here. A lot of people eating here dine in or take away, they also have drive thru.

This was our second date night at Brood and again, it did not disappoint! The cocktails are great, the food even better! The service is excellent. We ordered scallops, salads, chicken schnitzel, and lobster pasta. For dessert, the crème brûlée is TO DIE FOR! Every time we eat out, I leave feeling like the food was good, but could have used more flavor or that something in the dish was lacking salt, etc. I can happily say, everything we have had at Brood was so well seasoned, properly salted, and just simply delicious. Each dish is very well thought out and seasoned perfectly. This has become our go-to for date night!
We had the best time at Brood! Our server was amazing, the drinks were great, and the food was incredible! I highly recommend the chicken schnitzel, lobster pasta, and mussels. They also have many gluten free options, including the chicken schnitzel!
I ordered Caesar Salad very good Cornmeal Fried Catfish excellent Creme Brûlée excellent Beer wine cocktails First class service.

This has become a regular date night for us! We love playing pool here while enjoying the BEST drinks! All of the food we’ve had has been amazing!! Our server, Christina is the sweetest, kindest and most friendly! She made a batch of Sangria and brought one out to us….AMAZING!! She’s definitely got the touch when mixing her specials for everyone! She must include a dash of love!!♥️ Even the patrons are always so friendly and welcoming! This place is a must for good times, great food, the best service and lots of fun and friendly folks!! Thank you Christina for always making it a wonderful time for everyone and especially the key lime pie!! ✌
Stopped at Awful Arthur's Seafood in Salem, VA. Don't let the name fool you, the food was five star. Cod was cooked to perfection, flaky and light. The shrimp was beautifully cooked, we had some home made key lime pie for dessert. Planning on stopping here on our way back home.. The food was so great we were 1/2 way done eating before I remembered to take some pictures. Our waitress was great, she was fast and friendly and thank you to the cook for a great meal..
When we travel out of our landlocked home, if we're near seafood, I find a way to try it. I have to say, this was some of the best I've had for quite some time. The oysters on the half shell were a fabulous start to the evening, especially since the horseradish they provided was amazing. My wife had a wonderful shrimp Po-Boy while I enjoyed a crab cake and scallops prepared by blackening. Delightfully, the crab cake was mostly crab, and the scallops were buttery smooth, and perfectly cooked. The blackening was just right, not overdone. PLUS the best hush puppies I've had, with a side of char grilled garlic butter asparagus. Finally, a glass of peach cider along with my wife's Chardonnay, and we were set for the evening! Can't wait to return!

We had a large group and we all had a phenomenal experience! Food came out quickly and was all correct. Food was delicious and service was impeccable!! Also, I’ve never liked baklava but there’s was absolutely delicious!!!
I ordered the baklava, lamb platter, and chicken wings. The wings were raw in the center, so I called the store and they were able to help me. The baklava was flaky and delicious. The platter was a bit disappointing with the rice being dry. The meat was tender though.

We stopped in Salem on our drive to Tennessee. Checked out recommendations in the area that had TVs for the Yankees game. They sat us right down and the waitress was sweet. She put the game on now problem on the tv in front of us when we asked. I got the Oscar De la hoya salad with jalapeño ranch so yummmy!!! They also gave me 2 of the dressing which was a plus right there. My husband got the Sugar ray that was a bbq chicken sandwich with waffle fries. He said it was very good. Macaroni salad was great. Enjoyed the vibe as well. Kind of bummed we didn’t try the wings everyone else around seemed to enjoy them. Overall and very good meal and would go again if in the area. 2 little downsides were my husband asked mayo on the side and they put mayo on his bun. He hates mayo. They quickly brought him a new bun though. The other thing was there seemed to be some other back bar or neighbor that smelled like smoke everytime the door opened that aggravated my allergies.
Absolutely wonderful local bar. Stayed in Salem on my way through VA and ate dinner at Allsports. Great service, excellent food, and super friendly local bar regulars. Three big screens at the bar to watch all the sports. I made some new friends! . This bar is worth a visit!
Love their wings! Very friendly staff every time I've been! Yet another good experience! Yet the Whodat sauce on your wings! It's amazing. Today was a group of 6 of it's. Seated right away. Food came out hot and delicious. If you're in the mood for wings and beer, this is a great place to go!

local located on Essex st in the heart of Salem. typical American style local with stools at the counter where you can watch football or baseball games. unfortunately the local was full inside and they made us sit outside. fast service, abundant and tasty dishes. rather high prices. the local inside is truly spectacular
Very good food and the service was top notch. Friendly staff and cool atmosphere. The lobster roll was generously stuffed with chunks of claw and knuckle. Great flavor, on both types.
The sweet chili chicken tenders were great but the burger & chicken wrap were good but nothing special. The food did come out very fast though so that was impressive. & the waiter was very nice.

Food, service and atmosphere are excellent. Our waitress had great recommendations. We were a large party and they were able to accommodate us for lunch. I would recommend the Hake Marsala. It was rich, flavorful and the fish was cooked perfectly. We also shared the casino clams and bread loaf for apps, they were nice. Others at our table ordered the 1 1/1 lobster, (it was a large dinner,) the fish and chips, (I've never tried breading like it before, almost had a slight sweet taste,) a lobster roll, (good not the best I've had,) and we had a kids pizza, (nothing special about the pizza )
Our party of 6 ate lunch here about noon on the Monday before Halloween. We got a seat right away though it was pretty busy and we waited a little while for our food. The ambiance is fun, cute and family friendly. For apps, we ordered Clams Casino which was a table favorite, though you can't really go wrong with anything that has bacon on it. We also got the Bread Loaf. It was fine but nothing special. Things we'd definitely recommend: Clam Chowder, so good! Both the lobster dinner and lobster roll were great. The Hake Marsala was a favorite. Things I'd pass on: the Fish N Chips, the batter was strangely sweet, reminding me of corn dog batter. If that sounds good to you, you would actually love it! The fish was cooked perfectly, I just didn't prefer the sweetness of it. The kids meals were fine. One was plenty big to share between two toddlers, though my pizza loving guy didn't touch the pizza. Though that's more of a reflection on him than the pizza itself. :D
I had a great experience at this place. The environment was super cool and the vibe was dope. Staff members were friendly and helpful too. I tried the clam chowder and scallops with bacon for my apps, I couldn’t recommend those enough, delicious. For my entree I got the lobster roll with spinach and onion rings, highly recommend! Overall Turners was great, you should try it out!

We had some of the best mussels here - the sauce was fantastic for dipping bread. We went at an off-peak time for a later lunch. The staff were friendly & the waterfront views were great. The calamari dish had fried peppers, which did complement the squid, but overall reduced the amount of seafood you received in the dish. While their burgers were solid, I’d recommend steering towards the seafood. Would visit again!
We visited SLOB in Salem during our trip from the UK and couldn’t have picked a better dinner spot. Booking ahead was smart given the Halloween crowds, though it was calm when we dined at 7 pm. Our server was wonderful—friendly and attentive. We had an Aperol Spritz and a Spicy Margarita (which needed a bit more sour mix but turned out great). We shared the popcorn shrimp and enjoyed a lobster roll with fries and a whole steamed lobster which was around $55 at market price. The seafood was incredibly fresh and flavorful, some of the best we’ve had. Total bill was just over $150 which included a tip. We’d absolutely return if back in Salem!
Great atmosphere and food! Upper level covered outdoor seating on the water. I dont ever give anyone a 5 star unless there is absolutely no reason for me saying anything. We had reservations and called to see if there were any earlier only to get moved up an hour. When we arrived there was plenty of seating for a Sunday evening keep that in mind. It's pricey seafood in today's economy there is a good chance you can snag a seat. We got the seafood platter and fresh oysters. They were small. Not worth the money for oysters. Platter was good. Service was good and food was good. Check out my photos. Like and follow me! NC native traveling the country. Thank you!

Three of us stopped here for a quick bite and drinks around lunch time. We sat in the bar area and our server was the bartender. Great personality, friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. I ordered the crab cakes per his recommendation and they were excellent. I live in a land locked state and wouldn't waste my time ordering crab cakes. These were tender, all crab with minimal filler. The other two parties were just as pleased with their orders. Drinks were expertly made and the "surprise" shots were delicious and strong! We enjoyed our experience and wouldn't hesitate to return or recommend.
A good place in Salmon, where everyone can find something. The fish and chips were pretty good, though you don’t get as much fish as expected for the price. I also recommend the fig and cheese flatbread, the gluten-free flatbread was also very good.
Came to Salem with our friends from Yorkshire, England and we had a great dinner at Rockafellas. Our British friends LOVED the fish and chips- best they ever had! I had the Marinated Steak tips, which was a large portion of perfectly seasoned sirloin tips. Delicious. My wife had the Sausage Rustica, which she loved. The place looked great, the bathrooms were clean, and the service was excellent. Definitely recommend.

I really liked this place. The bartender was great. He made great recommendations and was super friendly. This was my favorite place to go from my trip to Boston and Salem. I had the mercy burger and it was delicious. I also had the garlic fries. My boyfriend had the lobster roll. 10/10 would go here over and over again. Also had a wonderful virgin drink. I don't drink so I usually get soda water with lime and add my own sugar free flavor. Here I got the virgin hocus pocus and it was great.
Holy cow this place is amazing. We ordered the pumpkin ravioli, mercy burger, and their fish and chips. They were all INCREDIBLE! Everything was hot, well seasoned, perfectly cooked, the garlic fries were crisp and flavorful. The fish and chips were perfect. Not soggy at all. The service was amazing too! He was attentive, quick, and so personable. We were seated so quickly the hostess was so kind and accommodated us with the perfect outdoor seating. The atmosphere is fantastic! Chill and lively. It was busy and for a good reason! It's worth the wait and so great. Highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting Salem.
BEST FISH TACOS EVER!!!!! The food here is amazing. The staff is awesome and very clean place I’m from Miami Florida and this is the best fish taco I’ve ever had. My husband had the fish and chips and he’s never had haddock before and he loved it. Can’t wait to visit again and try other things on the menu.

We really enjoyed the views and atmosphere on a sunny day. Great vibes. Good service. Delicious food! I enjoyed my lobster roll, and the delicious fries. However, it felt a bit pricey.
Lovely experience! After spending a long day of walking around Salem and taking in the gorgeous views, it was nice getting to sit down and enjoy a delicious food (and more amazing views of the water) Mia was our server and she was very sweet. For apps, we had the Brussels sprouts. YUM!! For entrees, we split the lobster roll and lobster flatbread. So so good!!!
This place is good. Nice selection of beer. The roast beef was good but not at the level of some of the local roast beef joints. Lobster roll was very good. I will come back for the lobster roll
