Four of us enjoyed dining at Gabriella’s for her exquisite "A Taste of Italy" themed dinner, which was nothing short of extraordinary! This is not just a meal; it's an immersive experience that transports you straight to the heart of Italy. The 6-course dinner was thoughtfully curated, each dish representing a different region of Italy, and the attention to detail was impeccable. When we arrived, it was clear that this was a special place. We had a window seat which allowed us to see across the valley, which reminded me of Park City, Utah. The warm and inviting ambiance set the perfect tone for the evening ahead. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, sharing fascinating stories about the origins of each dish and the regions they hailed from. It was like getting a mini culinary tour of Italy! What stood out to me was the thoughtfulness and care that went into every dish. The presentation was stunning, and the portions were just right, leaving us satisfied. The pacing was perfect, allowing us to savour each bite and be social without feeling rushed. The wine pairings enhanced the experience even further. Having Chef Gabriella meet and speak with us after our dinner was a nice touch! If you're looking for a dining experience that is both delicious and educational, Gabriella’s is an absolute must-visit. Just be sure to book ahead—this is a popular spot for good reason! I can't wait to return and see her next variation of plates from Italy. We highly recommend it!

I helped plan my cousins wedding in July 2024. Gabriella was so easy to communicate with, was open to our needs, had great suggestions. The food was AMAZING - people are still talking about it. The venue was perfect for what we wanted. Jillian was lovely to work with as well. Overall a great experience and would highly recommend!

The menu has a mix of classics and original dishes, and everything I tried was delicious in taste and texture. The gnocchi is great, but I did find myself getting tired of the gorgonzola sauce before finishing the dish.

One of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had and the price is unbeatable — $14 for a full two-egg Benny! The hollandaise sauce was amazing, the bacon was thick and cooked to perfection, the eggs were perfectly poached with gel-runny yokes, and the potatoes were phenomenal. Even the arugula garnish was delicious with this lovely dressing.

Such an adorable cafe! Very comforting atmosphere and delicious local food!! The staff was so helpful and attentive! I would definitely recommend!! Dish in picture is called “Bowl of Hash”.

The location is easy to find on Main Street food and spirits available they offer live music . This place is really nice.

Ate a summer meal with my 5-year old daughter. Meals for 5 and under are free, which is amazing. My daughter was in a bit of a mood, but the server was excellent with her. Food delicious and lots of room for kids to roam while parents are eating.

Food was 10/10, amazing Greek and Mexican options. I'm sure their other menu options are killer as well. Bugs on the porch were out of control, but that's not gonna stop me from coming back. Whoever is cooking back there is an absolute master. Thanks for an awesome dinner!

The Bistro offers an outdoor patio dining area, pet friendly. The staff are friendly and pleasant. The food and service were excellent.

Great coffee, great food. I especially loved the outdoor patio in the back. It’s completely shaded by some large and beautiful trees. I had the breakfast bagel + smoked BC salmon and cappuccino and it was perfect.

A great spot that really feels local, and seems to take pride in their coffee. I had a bagel with cream cheese which was great, the bagel seems to be made in-house or at least nearby (not commercial baking) and the latte was delicious as well as beautiful.

Staff was amazing. They ONLY do take out, which is fine as we just ate in the hotel room. Pho soup doesn't use real pho broth, more of a beef broth. Not authentic Pho. Mac n cheese uses real cheese, very tasty. Beef brisket poor boy was extremely good.

A perfectly delicious meal. We ordered the Gong bao and ate at the nearby Esling Park (recommended by the owner). The food is fresh and amazing. Such a mix of flavours. We'll be back!

Just go. Do yourself the favor. Stop reading the reviews and just go. Remember it's take out only, but I took my sandwich across the road to the Brewery which was actually even better so I got a local beer to pair with my pulled pork masterpiece. I smoke meat at home and I'm a total smoked meat snob and this pulled pork po boy blew my socks off. You know it's a good po boy when you need to go take a shower once you're finished. I'll be back. I'll bring others. Long live the Underbelly.

Tasty, fresh food and friendly service. We had takeout of the Mahi mahi, chicken, fish tacos, and volcano cakes, and each was well prepared and flavourful. The fish tacos were particularly well done. I appreciate that the staff packed the desserts in such a way that they could be eaten later without being a mess as takeout (icecream separate for the freezer until ready to go). We will be back to try dining in-person.

Had the fresh halibut special and, as usual, the food was great! One thing that is special about Idgie’s is that you get a great variety and amount of veg with every meal. I find most restaurants skimp on the vegetables these days. Lovely people working there too.

Great little restaurant. Porteare generous, freshly made and tasty. Great outdoor space. Friendly staff and good service. We in particular liked the fresh mussels.

Best pizza ever, the young lady Emily was polite efficient and had no problem make me a pizza at 830. Best gluten free also highly recommend

For 23.95 a large 3 amigos pizza, is 3x the quality of Panago. Proper thick crust and dough, good cheese and quality meat. Nice over the phone ordering. Grabbed a few dips, man the ranch is good. Quick pay and out the door I was. Fed me and my girlfriend quite nicely.

Folks at the counter were nice and pizza was good, but the garlic bread was burnt to a crisp. For the price you pay per slice, it was disappointing to get home and have the bread be inedible.

Very good food. Chef added food to our meal because we were a large group. Chef then played use so cool music for the kids. Overt 5 star Chinese food.

Never written a review on google before but this place deserved one. Coolest cats in Rossland for sure, and if you’re lucky you’ll get some live music. 10/10 would recommend

Everyone visiting Rossland must drop in and see Mr Ma and his wife Alice. Amazing hospitality, very authentic Chinese and Thai food. If you are lucky Mr Ma might pull out his Er Hu(Chinese violin) and play for you. We will be back.

I have a really good time with a reallybgood food there, this burger is amazing so far the best that I tried.

Great food and great service! The special of the day was fish and chips. Excellent beer batter, not too greasy. The cold draft beers hit the spot out on the deck. Fish and fries were served very hot just how we like it. The young waitress was very friendly and provided excellent service. We will be back!

Dog friendly patio and family friendly menu. A little pricey for a sandwich but quite tasty. The fries were phenomenal. Server was nice but seemed a bit rushed and forgot our toddler’s milk twice and never offered his free dessert (we eventually just gave up waiting to ask). She was the only server on staff, so could have just been busy for her. Would still return.

We had many meals at this restaurant as we were staying the week with whole family at the Josie Hotel where this restaurant is located. Our son has celiac and the local options were limited. The chef was incredibly great about this and we felt safe eating here with our need for gluten-free options. This is our second long stay at the hotel and I will say this time around the food was MUCH better. Dinner was particularly strong. We had vegetarian, meat, fish, and I was very happy with everything. We splurged one night for their special event Winery dinner, a local winery was pouring their wines and the chef created a special menu. One of our boys was underage and they brought him a special non-alcoholic creation for each course. For our son with celiac he substituted some menu items for us and he had a great meal. We plan to come back again to Red which is a great ski mountain and we will come back to The Velvet Restaurant. I may have gained a couple pounds despite all this skiing! One caveat- this restaurant is expensive, but the value felt ok as it was delicious.

Always yummy. Great atmosphere and super friendly staff. We hit this place all times of the year but my favourite is coming for lunch dressed in all the snowboard gear. Love it. Even have a good kids menu. Worth it.

Beautiful hotel and setting, but this was the worst tasting eggs Benedict I’ve ever had The potatoes were unseasoned and charred. Eggs Benedict tasted very strange and sour - either something off with the hollandaise sauce or someone used too much sour cream. Coffee was terrible. I really wanted to enjoy this breakfast as we starving. We had arrived late the night before (an hour before the kitchen closed) and they were too busy to answer the phone or take our in-room dinning order, so we resorted to eating the snacks that we had in our luggage. Giving the review 2 stars because front of house staff was pretty nice/friendly. All in all a pretty disappointing and overpriced experience where I didn’t finish my meal despite being very hungry :(

What an awesome brewery! We went on a Friday - live music, wicked atmosphere, friendly staff, great beers & cider, and a fun place to spend the afternoon. Petri (owner) spent some time chatting with us too. Just an all round feel good place to hang out! We will be back!

Friendly staff, some of the best craft brew around, and an atmosphere well-suited to relaxing and quality conversation. A place we visit every time we’re in the area, for good reason. Overall: positive experiences, recommended!

Awesome brewery and really good beer. The Staff Party IPA and Stout were delish. I’ll have to pop in for some apres ski pint this season.
