Best Restaurants Open for Newyears Eve this year in Ross River – 2024

I had a lovely stay at this amazing lodge. Clean and bright with a great kitchen area - everything you need to make meals (must bring your own food). My bed was very comfortable. Reliable WIFI. Located close to the River with a beautiful view.

Absolutely terrible business people. I was booked in here by the local First Nation to work in the room giving physical therapy treatments. The lodge was aware I would be working in the room. I arrived and there was not enough space in the room to set up my equipment, so I carefully and neatly moved one of the beds and began work at the time I was scheduled to see my first client. The frame was in the hallway on the railing as I was concerned about leaning it against a wall. The manager came upstairs and began to tell me I can’t move furniture and I explained I needed to move furniture to work and I placed the bed frame where I did because I was concerned about the walls and maybe we could find a solution and place the frame downstairs in the ample storage space they have on site. She continued to complain and be combative and was at one point physically aggressive and I needed to back away from her. Rude and vile little woman who is a complete control freak and unwilling to find very reasonable solutions. Only solution to her was that I leave and she was able to continue on her tiny tirade over literally nothing of issue. Absolutely loves drama and making problems. Lacks entertainment. Spoke with owner on the phone, sent photos of the room as it was when I moved the furniture and after showing the furniture had been replaced (in 3 minutes). He was also extremely combative and rude and I explained I’ve done this many times before and all I’ve ever heard form hotel staff was “how can we help you”. I mentioned he’s on First Nations land to which he started yelling “I OWN THAT LAND”, and I mentioned I was working for the First Nations to help bring services to the people in the community and how they are lovely to do business with, which he scoffed at. The undercurrent of racism was evident. Total wreck, zero stars, these people should not be in the hospitality industry. They have lost a lot of business by behaving that way today.

It's a great view, the staff are nice and lovely and the room was cozy. No issues staying there at all!

If you need help with a health issue this is the place for you. Doctors come a couple of times a month. Nurses are very knowledgeable and helpful.

Excellent nursing staff.
