Best Restaurants Open for Newyears Eve this year in Riverside – 2024

Walked by and decided to go in. The service was excellent and the staff is very attentive. The food was excellent. Sorry, by the time I realized that I hadn't taken any pictures, the food was gone. I did remember to snap a pic of the cheesecake with blueberry compote. It was excellent. The cheesecake is so creamy that it tastes almost like it's made of whipped cream. We came on a Saturday night and there was a live band that started to play at 9. Very good band and everyone enjoyed it. Very nice date night spot, I recommend it.

Would give them more stars if I could excellent service amazing food, perfect atmosphere highly recommend. There was another local Italian place that had a three star rating. I’m glad I came to Mario’s place instead. I’ll definitely be back and you should too.

We have gone here over the years and always had a good meal. We were seated in a fairly small room that they called the “elevator room” it only had 5 tables to serve people. We called same day so I’m guessing the better areas were taken. We ordered the one dish of everything to split. The entree was Beef Tenderloin which was very good. We also ordered a side Caesar Salad and the Mushroom Ravioli dish. The food was very good. The Mission Inn is across the street. Some tables inside and out have a view of it.

Clean and Fast Service This restaurant impressed me with its cleanliness and efficient service. My meal arrived quickly, and the staff was attentive. Good Food, Minor Hiccup The food was overall good, with just a minor issue. The steak skewers were slightly burnt on the edges and a tad dry. Overall Recommendation Despite the small drawback with the steak, I would recommend this restaurant. I hope they maintain their consistency in cleanliness, service, and food quality.

We ate here last week, so good. We have come a couple of times prior and guess I never got around to my review but they deserve a good one ! The food is freshly cooked and so good. We had kebab plates with steak and chicken plus we ordered olives with feta cheese and pita. Every bite was delicious and we had leftovers highly recommend for healthy, delicious food.

Went in on a Sunday late morning but it still wasn't overly busy. Getting a waitress to come take our initial drink order took a little while but once she did, drinks and food came out quickly. Our menudo and pozole were very good, right amount of spice. We will definitely go again!

We came on a Monday afternoon. Plenty of parking but the front door was a little tricky to find because it doesn't face the street. Just like other reviewers have said, the music in the bar is too loud. So loud that you have to talk into the person's ear for them to hear you. We were seated in the dining area though where it was qulet. The green and brown chips and salsa were very good and the service was great. The food took some time to come but it was worth it. The carnitas were tender and well seasoned. The beans were the standout on my plate, creamy and delicious I could have just eaten a bowl. We'll be back, maybe next time for dinner.

Very good service on Wed lunch time, old world ambience, good food, good chips and salsa, clean, Music too loud though. There was $1.50 charge for using credit card, $1.50 for a small scoop of sour cream.

I rarely go to Olive Garden but that’s where the birthday boy decided he wanted to eat now don’t get me wrong the staff was nice and friendly but the only problem I had was the food the presentation was good but unfortunately the taste wasn’t !!! Everything I ate had no flavor the salad barely had dressing and my carbonara pasta had no taste no salt. This place was not my choice I prefer a more authentic Italian restaurant.

We decided to give this location another try, and unfortunately, the experience was worse. Our waiter knocked our glasses off the table by removing the kiosk without notice. The soup was room temp and then trying another type had too much oil as the waiter said he himself poured the rest of it into my bowl. Drinks didn't get refilled or informed the drink of choice ran out to then be able to pick a new one. The appetizer did come out delicious and would order again. I will say the manager did try to help make it a more enjoyable experience and the dessert she provided our table was delicious.

This was the plate that came out. Crusty red sauce and crusty pasta. Idk why I keep giving OG a chance. Ordered the never ending pasta and meat. First off they're 15.99 not 13.99 like advertised online, then you can't get grilled chicken just the fried chicken which was too salty next I ordered sausage only to be told they're out so she brought 1 meatball on a plate of sauce. The alfredo is worse and worse every visit as well. Our waitress did her best to help us. I think she had too many tables plus it didn't help the AC wasn't working at its best. One server did make our whole table laugh. Michelle! The waitress at the next table who I asked for a box as she heard me since she side eyed me and kept it moving. My kids got a kick out of that. Rude and unprofessional as it might be comical none the less. For sure last visit. Every time I take my family I feel like and idiot for spending my $$ there. The manager was the sweetest most professional person.

First service was pretty slow, we waited like 20 minutes for a side of rice, food was ok we got the chicken lettuce wraps very bland flavor and mushy and shell tasted like cooked in old oil. steak and shrimp was good, chicken wings and blue cheese burger was good! We also got the kobe beef tacos were ok... meat was hard I think over cooked. And Cliantro lime chicken was good too.

This Restaurant it is really good, you can go with friends or take a girl on a date or family or you could go alone to watch your favorite Game show (sports) they have the bar where you ca chill and have a beer If you are a beer drinker this is the place for you Must of the food its delicious The staff are so kind and really good customer service I visit this place every week Prices are afordable

There’s something special about this yard house! The layout is nice and long open air with their infamous tap/bar set up in the middle. We visited on a weekend but were seated almost immediately and the service was super fast and attentive. Food is much better at this location rather than other yard houses I’ve visited. Nashville Chicken sandwich was a solid 10/10, also the pizza mushroom &pep a must order. We definitely will be back. Thank you

I barely started coming to eat here due to relocation. This place is super delicious. I have been getting something different from the menu each time I go and never disappointed. The staff is amazing, so it makes the experience that much better. 10 out of 10.

Service wasn’t the best, I’m giving a small pass as we were a big party of 10+ people , but The food was okay. The bread and drinks were delayed in delivery to our party, other tables that arrived after us were assisted before us. I will potentially try again with a smaller party. The Cajun salmon was nicely seasoned. The clam chowder had a great flavor paired amazing with the sourdough bread. The Nashville chicken sandwich was perfectly seasoned only thing that could have made it better was more of the amazing sauce placed a bit on top of the chicken.( ask for a side of sauce ) The bartender definitely know how to make an expresso martini but substitute for tequila! The jambalaya definitely has a heavy tomato sauce flavor and not a strong spice. The shrimp scampi had a great butter garlic sauce. The pricing of most items and entrees were definitely fair to portion sizes.

The sourdough bread is awesome as a starter. We then had the clam chowder which was also very good. My wife had the Honey Walnet Shrimp Bowl which she said was really good. I had the lunch specials fish and chips which I did not enjoy. My wife also tried them and found them bland. The waitress said they were a very popular item so maybe it was just us. The waitress was very professional and understanding. She took the Fish and Chips off the bill and brought me a complimentary cup of clam chowder. The dining area was clean and not very loud. I'm not sure I will go back, but I wouldn't dissuade anyone else from giving it a try.

Last night we went to eat at ProAbition and had a wonderful experience. Janice was our server and she was exceptional! Not only did she provide fast, friendly, quality service but made some great recommendations and checked on us continuously throughout dinner. I wasn't super hungry last night, so I ended up just trying their butter cake. (My boyfriend ate dinner) Holy moly it was one of the best desserts I've EVER had in my entire life! I love dessert, so for me it was a huge deal to make that statement. They played great music that was not too loud to overshadow our conversation, but kept us singing some of the songs throughout dinner. Overall the experience was amazing and I look forward to going back again!

Came here on the 5th and was sat very quickly even tho we were a little early for our reservation. We enjoyed everything we ordered, our waitress was awesome and had good drink recommendations. I’ll definitely be going back. I book a lot of reservations here for our prospective employees/faculty members and they always have great things to say about it as well.

Server prioritized table of 6 that had just arrived and gave them all waters before us (2 people) when we had already ordered our food. We ordered the Tres Leches French Toast and Breakfast Burger well-done. French toast tasted like it was deep fried and the breakfast burger was raw. Took awhile to flag down the server so they could replace it. He did not check up on us throughout our visit. Only refilled our waters when we asked for the check. When we paid he didn’t return our change or receipt. When we asked for them, he looked upset. Overall wouldn’t come back. Service was bad and slow. Food was okay but overpriced.

We have been coming to this restaurant for many years. This is literally one of the nicest restaurants. You can go to just about anywhere. The people are great. The menu is great. The attention to detail is great. The food is great. The service is great everything about it is great, the servers are awesome. The atmosphere is great. We have come here for many, many birthday events for mother-in-laws, Mother's brothers wife, everybody, we come here often and love it all the time every time we can, it's great.

The food was incredible. The experience was incredible. The service was incredible. The escargot was magnificent. The salmon and chicken was delicious. Every single dish we ordered was fantastic. It was such an authentic, modest French experience that was unforgettable. Absolutely LOVED it.

Me and my boyfriend came here for a date and it was perfect! The food , the servers and the whole vibe of the place. It was very comfy and the food was amazing. Our server Johannes was incredibly attentive and kindly explained some dishes to us because it was very new to us. I recommend for anyone who is open to trying new things. The price for the dishes is worth the taste. I hope to come back many more times.

Great place for drinks and music. I'm not sure where you can dance but I definitely saw people do so in the small area of the bar. All the drinks were made nicely, I recommend the watermelon mojito. There is one bathroom. Haven't tried the food, but it sure looks tasty.

Fun ! Great live DJ music. Delicious crafted drinks. Team was great!! Will return and have the bartender create fun shots to enjoy!

I recently visited a restaurant/nightclub and while the place itself was clean, I found it to be very small and incredibly crowded. I could definitely see this place becoming popular at night with their music and drinks, but unfortunately, the service was one of the worst I have ever experienced. We ordered five alcoholic drinks, and while one of our friends received theirs promptly, the rest of us had to wait a staggering 26 minutes before ours arrived. To make matters worse, when we asked the server for some water in the meantime, we were left waiting for 30 minutes before it finally reached our table. I wish I could say I'm exaggerating, but this was honestly the worst service I have ever received. As for the food, the quesadilla was decent, and the wet burrito wasn't too bad either. However, I made the mistake of ordering the burrito bowl, and it was a complete disaster. The dish arrived cold, the cheese had a strange smell to it, and overall, it was just a truly unpleasant experience. Frankly, I cannot recommend this location to anyone looking for a satisfying meal, unless you don't mind overpaying for both the drinks and the food. Perhaps this place is better suited for those just looking to hang out.
