Whilst staying in Revelstoke, I went for dinner in Old School Eatery - and it was absolutely amazing! The setting is super cool, as it’s based in the old school, so it was rather unique. The food was incredible, and both my starter and main course were faultless. To start I had the Calamari which was beautifully flavoured and cooked so well. I then had the Chicken Parmigiana which was the best I’d ever had. The drinks menu was awesome with a huge range of cocktails and local beers, and the team serving us were really friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend a visit to Old School Eatery - it was amazing!
We had a great time here. We shared the calamari with garlic bread, I then had the Ahi tuna poke bowl (see photo), both were delicious and well presented. 6 beers on draft and I tried 3 of them and they were good quality. Make sure you book a table as this is a very popular restaurant in the old school house. You can dine inside or outside and there is a playground right next to it. The staff worked really hard to cater in this busy restaurant.
This was a popular dinner spot in Revelstoke. Located within an old School, the building still retained its former glory. So it really gives off the school vibes. The food in this place was so good. We couldn’t resist most of their starters and ended up ordering 3 to share, leaving us no space for mains. We had the polenta fries which came as this nice golden blocks of polenta goodness which was crunchy on the outside and smooth and fluffy on the inside. Their crispy fried Brussel sprouts looked like art on the plate and was too beautiful to eat. The Brussel sprouts were nicely charred but after a while the vinegar got a bit too strong and sour tasting for us. The last but not least of what we ordered was their beef quesabirria tacos. This was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. We also had one of their cocktails which tasted really good too. Don’t think you can go wrong with this place.

I asked if I could have a Margherita pizza and the lady didn't know what that was. I had to explain it to her. Being a pizza place, it was surprising. No vegetarian options, so once my family was done with their food, I went out to another place for some vegetarian food.
Enjoyed a good, thick base, emo pizza. Partner had creamy seafood linguine. Total bill with drink each 70 CAD. Recommended
The food and service were good. The flexibility with gluten free needs was disappointing. One person in our party had a salad, which was very nice, that came with a pita. Requested a few fries instead of the pita due to a gluten allergy. We were told a flat no. A little extra salad or just skipping it were the options. Two others had burgers with fries, so it certainly wouldn’t have meant extra work. We won’t be back. Kind of hope the waitress ends up somewhere else so we can find her again.

Decided to give this place a go as we were quite keen on their smoked meat. We got a nice seating outside which really helps with having a nice ambience. Their menu comes in receipt style which was cute. We tried 2 of their beers; tall timber ale and moo cow. We ordered their beef ribs initially but was then told it was sold out. So we swapped go the beef brisket and asked for a side of baked beans. The beans were good. The brisket was not Smokey enough nor was it soft and tender. We also tried their hotdog as they had many varieties of this. Service here was slow and we struggled to get their attention for some time.
We tried the smoked beef ribs with a side of potato salad and the Full Send beer, and they were absolutely delicious! The ribs are cooked for 10-12 hours, and you can tell because they practically melt in your mouth. Unfortunately, we live 500 km away from this place, or we would visit more often. However, this has become a must-stop for us whenever we're in Revelstoke! We highly recommend it. Oh, and they are pet-friendly too! We love it!
Super nice view in the middle of Revelstoke, he had meal outside during the sunset so that was millions dollar worth view lols. Staff was friendly, just personally I prefer the beed brisket to be a little more tender, but the rest was awesome.

When we walked into this restaurant, we were skeptical about their fusion menu. But we were pleasantly surprised. We ordered goat curry and bratwurst. The curries all come with rice and are pretty good for a small town restaurant. The bratwurst was good, however, the sauerkraut and potatoes were not that great. The schnitzel looked good too, though we didn’t order it.
To be honest, I thought foreign food in a remote small town wouldn’t be any good but it’s actually quite decent!! I had the butter chicken with schnitzel and spatzle, it was well done and actually matched well together. The pad Thai with schnitzel was not bad, however it felt kind of forced. Maybe using more pad Thai sauce on the schnitzel would help? In addition to the good food, the servers were friendly and the washroom was clean too.
Such an amazing restaurant - both in concept and execution of dishes. A must-have when passing through Revy! The service was a bit slow when we visited both times, and the mushroom sauce on the hunter's schnitzel was meagre.

Charming and cozy place! Good food and superb coffee. The warm rustic atmosphere adds to the experience, making it a wonderful spot to relax and savor authentic French-Canadian flavours.
Oh my!! This place is a gem! Went for breakfast and it was amazing! They do have a big range of Gluten Free options (which I always struggle to find). So eventually we went back and took almost the whole GF range!! Everything was SO SO good! Insanely delicious I also found their cafe latte very nice
Stumbled upon this Lovely french bistro on our way to banff and stopped here for lunch. They had some unique items for lunch like the chickpea salad which was fresh and a elixir latte which was made of mushroom milk and cacao. Their gelatos were also nice. Overall a nice place with friendly staff and a great ambience

Great service and really tasty food. Pricing is a bit high but overall a really great experience. The Caesar was not very good, put the rum mojitos were amazing. The pork belly you could cut with a fork, was delicious. The saffron muscles were also very good. The chicken and mushroom risotto was very good, and we added a piece of fish that was picked perfectly.
After a long drive, we wanted to treat ourselves. This one stood out with their tempting menu. The appetizers called out to us. Mussels, scallops, pork bellly, fried polenta. All were flavorful with bread to sop up the flavors. Baked zucchini was tasty too. We left room for dessert, a perfect creme brulee. Service was nice, the decor is pretty and welcoming.
Service is excellent! Fish was just a tad dry and think there’s a lot of opportunity here with the menu. Nice patio space.

Absolutely superb experience. Wonderful waiting staff, chefs who really care about their food, and presentation that even made me want to be "that guy" and take a picture. Proper food with care taken all the way from prep to palate. To end a lovely evening, we asked the reception area to call me and my wife a taxi back to our hotel. The receptionist kindly explained that if we have bought a meal and enjoyed a good time, they would shuttle us back anywhere in the local area as part of the service for free! Can't ask for more, best restaurant we've experienced to date!
Food is amazing. But we had a weird experience at the entrance. We clearly saw a lot of empty tables. But they told us nothing was available unless we would wait. So we asked if we could have a drink to start at the bar until a table is available. They were very hesitant, which I still don’t understand. Eventually they said yes and when walking in the man behind the bar immediately said we could have a table. So what was the big issue? The whole evening there were tables available, so why the hesitation? Our waitress was friendly. And we left satisfied with the rest of the experience.
I stopped by 112 Restaurant and Lounge on a Sunday night while traveling solo through Revelstoke. I like to treat myself to some nice local food when I’m on the road, and this place did not disappoint. From the moment I walked in, the host and server were super friendly and made sure I felt comfortable, which is always nice when you’re dining alone. I ordered a glass of red wine, the daily focaccia, and the Beef Tenderloin and Mushroom Rigatoni—and wow, it was seriously amazing! The pasta was fresh, the sauce was rich and creamy, and the beef and mushrooms were cooked perfectly. Honestly, it’s probably one of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had. Huge props to the chef! I’ll definitely be back next time I’m passing through Revelstoke. That rigatoni alone is worth the stop!

Such a great place with very friendly staff and of course delicious food. We ordered the 10 oz top sirloin steak one with mushrooms and one without and for the side dish we got the loaded baked potato (it was the best steak I had in a very long time, very juicy and tasty). From the kids menu we got the cheese burger with fries and let me tell you that the burger is not a tinny one and the fries are super crunchy yummy
Was recommended Zalas by someone in town and it didn’t disappoint. The portions were generous, the service was on point and the price more than reasonable. We got the escargot with mushrooms as an appetizer since my partner enjoyed them so much at the keg. He was floored on how much you got for the price and how tasty they were. The steaks were cooked to a perfect medium rare (as requested), the potato wasn’t over cooked or dry and the seafood on my partners plate was exceptional. (Veggies were basic and nothing to gush over.) Would absolutely dine there again. The interior is a bit dated, but that definitely gives Zalas its charm.
Food is great. We were just walking around town as we are staying for the weekend. Came across and checked menu. Decided to eat dinner and didn’t disappoint us

Solid option up on the hill. Took my husband for his birthday and overall enjoyed. Had the Tuna Poke Bowl which was good, but I would have rather had it on rice than couscous because it would have held up better I think. Also had the Outpost Burger which was actually excellent with that American Cheese and secret sauce.
Honestly, food was overly priced, mediocre quality, and petit portions. The maui wowie burger was tiny (see how small next to the fries), the chicken wings were only 7 pieces, but to be honest, it was well flavored. The gyoza was 5 pieces and tasted ok. The chicken Cesar salad portion was ok. The only plus was the service and the waiters.
Excellent service by Carlee, very welcoming place to chill. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to eat anything, nothing halal here. Also fries etc are fried with other meat. So I requested 2 drinks, lol.

If you pass through Revelstoke, do not miss your chance to visit The Village Idiot. This quirky, ski-themed pub is a fun place to visit :) We were welcomed in and received excellent service. The burgers and fries are fantastic! Try the Kitchen Sink burger - Beef, chicken, ham, bacon, fried egg, cheese, mushrooms, lettuce, dill pickles, and house sauces. WOW! The mussels are really tasty as well, done in a savoury garlic butter sauce. The pizza looks fabulous as well. That will be for our next trip :)
We stopped at The Village Idiot for a late lunch while travelling through to the East Kootenays. We've been here before prior to having children and really enjoyed it. They really don't have a kid's menu though, so it's a little harder to recommend with younger kids, aside from splitting meals or paying for full meals for them. We decided to split a pizza and nachos with our children, and we all enjoyed the food as it was quite tasty. The nachos were definitely a large portion, and the corneal salsa was delicious. We'll definitely return again in the future.
do not sit outside if you're dining in the evening. tons of mosquitos! the food was decent but took forever to come out. i was not sure if it was because they had forgotten our order or simply put our order in the back of the line as we saw others coming in later then our table receiving their orders before us. we waited over 45 minutes for our food and when i inquired with the waitress about our order - she wasn't too helpful and did not sound like she wanted to help out but instead gave me a reply 'We have a very large party inside that they're serving'. What kind of reply is that? At least check my order, it's been 45 minutes for a large pizza, caesar salad and pasta - which is ridiculously slow and the restaurant was not even full. the pizza was great - highlight of the evening but seriously, 45 minutes wait time for 3 orders is too long.

We had Spicy Lemongrass Beef Soup and Rice BBQ Mix Salad with BBQ Pork. The beef soup was so flavourful and tasty.. yet light on a hot day! The BBQ mix salad was delicious - the dressing was sweet, sour, and a little savory and really enhanced the veggies and rice noodles.. and the pork was so tender. We wanted to have two more but were so fulll... you gotta visit this place :) :) :)
The pork salad vermicelli bowl was pretty good. Not the best I've had, but I was satisfied. The beef pho on the otherhand, was "ok" at best. I didn't like it very much, but it was edible. There is no "service" at the restaurant. You order at the counter, pick up your food when they page, and bus your own table. Doesn't stop them from recommending an 18% gratuity. Bathrooms are pretty rough, food is expensive, seating limited... it's not terrible, but I wouldn't come back either. The Korean restaurant kitty-corner was much better.
Delicious food. I had the coconut chicken, it had a lot of flavour and good amount of spice. I also had the guava coconut jelly drink and that was very refreshing on a hot evening. Good service but there is no table service.. Restaurant had nice modern finishes. I will be back to try more food.

A Fantastic Spot for Sushi Lovers! If you're looking for a place to enjoy mouth-watering sushi, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit! From the moment we arrived, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. We were a group of 8 and were seated in traditional Japanese style. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Plus, the service was impressively fast, despite the restaurant being fairly busy. To start, we ordered the edamame and a mixed tempura platter, both of which were delightful and set the tone for what was to come. For our mains, we opted for a variety of sushi and teriyaki dishes. The sushi was, without a doubt, the star of the evening. The fish was incredibly fresh, and each piece was expertly prepared. Every bite was bursting with flavor, and the balance between the textures and flavors was spot on. If you're a fan of sushi, you can't go wrong here. The quality of the food, the excellent service, and the overall atmosphere make this place a top recommendation.
Really great sushi! Lots of sake and Japanese beer to choose from. Excellent service, very attentive staff. Also very child friendly. The karrage serving was the biggest I've ever seen, which was amazing for my picky 8 year old.
Cute small Japanese restaurant. Probably not ideal for very large groups. They seem to have a lot of takeout action! The bathroom is amazing cold! Perfect for when it’s 30+ out. Sesame ice cream is delicious!

Walked in off the street and found a gem. Excellent service, quick and efficient. I can honestly say this was the best pizza I’ve ever eaten; the “Tally-Ho”. So good I only remembered to snap a picture halfway through. Excellent toppings and cooked perfectly. I chose the standard crust, it reminds me of a domino’s pizza with quality ingredients and better chefs. I will definitely be back.
Ordered take out to a hotel. No forks or napkins sent with the delivery. How am I eating a salad? With my fingers? Obviously I’m not at home, tired from travelling all day and was super annoyed that this wasn’t common sense. Food was okay - way too much dressing on the salad and the wings are pretty junk. Dried out to a shrivel.
cute and lively restaurant that did a fantastic vegan poutine! i also had their stoke salad which was delicious too. i would absolutely come back here if i find myself in revelstoke again

Nice place, good location, parking can be a bit challenging based on the location but worth a visit. Service was fantastic, crew checked on us multiple times. Food was good, felt like it had a bit extra spices but it was good still. Cost felt a bit higher than average. Place was very clean and had a friendly atmosphere.
This place had great service and great food, so no complaints at all! We had the empinadas to start, an enchilada and a burrito for mains and they were all very tasty. We asked for the margarita to be made with the 1800 coconut tequila and they were happy to for $1 more and it was great! The range of Jarritos on offer was also a nice touch. We ended up having to sit outside as it was full inside but it seemed like there was a great buzz inside and outside was pretty comfortable. No heaters though so wrap up warm if the temperature is dropping!
Always try to go here when driving through Revy. The tacos aren't exactly traditional, but they are loaded and have really great flavour combinations. I think I've tried almost every one of their tacos, but the Beef Birria and Crispy Wild Cod really stuck out! The nachos were life changing! Soooo delish. Solid margaritas as well and good patio if the weather is cooperating.
