Best Restaurants Open for Newyears Eve this year in Raymond – 2024

Overall very good experience. Went here at 8:30pm on a Friday night. When I walked in there was no one at the counter but someone immediately came out. She was very helpful and attentive. Served the sandwiches exactly as I wanted them. She was much more generous with portions than I’m used to which was nice. She also wasn’t overbearing with selling me on a meal. The restaurant was clean and tidy. The bread could have been more fresh, but it was the end of the day. Overall, great experience.

My daughter and I have come here a few times for a sit down breakfast. Staff is amazing very friendly. We always have a place to sit and enjoy our Saturday breakfast dates. Thanks to all that work there

Ignore the negative reviews. This place is a gem. It's a mom & pop operation and the food is excellent. Sometimes the owners have to step out and run errands. Not the end of the world. Sometimes they go on vacation. They always put a sign on the door if they're going to be closed. They're not really internet users so don't rely on the google for details. Call ahead to be sure. Nobody who eats here on a regular basis reads or cares about these reviews anyway. But if you're from out of town and unsure let me put your mind at ease. For the freshest food order off the menu. If you have more than 3 people it makes more sense to order off the menu anyway since you'll get fresher food than the buffet, you'll get exactly what you want, and it will cost the same or less than the buffet. For example, four of us ate dinner here the other day and we ordered lemon chicken which is never on the buffet. We ordered 4 dishes and dinner was cheaper than if the four of us had ordered the buffet. The savings really add up if you have 5 or more. I've eaten here dozens of times. My favorites are cantonese noodles with pork, lemon chicken, sweet & sour pork, wonton soup, and chicken balls sauce on the side. The wanton soup is the best I've ever had. The broth is amazing. Don't hesitate. You'll love this place. Just remember you're in a town of 4000 people. Not a michelin star restaurant in Beijing.

I was at this restaurant with my family and we were having a great time. While we were sitting there. A tall lanky Asian guy spilt water all over my head. I don't know why he did this or how it happened, but I am not happy. I will find you Riley.

Great food and Good Service. I only order off the menu for perfect freshness. Highly recommend. I think the food is better than any Chinese restaurant in Lethbridge!!

Was in Raymond and stopped at Burger Baron. Ordered the double Baron and added mushrooms. Minus onions. Had pickles. Order came out faster than a lot of fast food places. They cook as u order and u know it when u take your first bite. Hot patties and toasted bun. Burger was perfect. Lots of seating. Place was clean. Just wanting another burger just writing about it and the pictures., might have to make a special trip to Raymond and have another double Baron burger. Will be back soon.

The nostalgia of visiting here was worth the trip. The food is pretty good and not unreasonably priced. I'd definitely go back even if it is way out of the way for me

The Lebanese Burger Mafia documentary (on Burger Baron) brought be back. I grew up in Raymond in the 90's-00's and somehow never managed to try their food, which is strange, because my grandparents/parents used to manage the building as a chicken place (Grandma's Chicken) before it was a Burger Baron, you'd think I would have been interested in trying out the then-new Buger Baron, but it never happened. Anyways, I'm disappointed. Disappointed that I never tried the food earlier 'cause the Mushroom Burger is legit, so are the milkshakes!

Great service, good prices, big portions! The Wings were excellent, and the Cowboy Burger was DELICIOUS!!! The Curly Fries with their special dipping sauce were really good as well. Will definitely be back to try some more of the menu items.

The food at Brimstone this weekend was excellent. We really enjoyed our meals after golf. The chicken wrap was a nice lighter option, the Reuben sandwich was piping hot and generous portion size, the Cowboy burger was also a good size and very flavorful. Curly fries all around were fun and tasted yummy with the house made secret recipe "fry sauce" for dipping. The frozen lemonade with essentially a nicely tart lemonade flavored slushy/slurpee. The "milkshake" was fine but not life changing - was not a fully ice cream based milkshake, there was definitely ice cubes blended into the milkshake as well, so was more like a creamy smoothie.... Not a "burgers and shakes" style shake... So that was unexpected and this a bit disappointing. All in all a good dining experience.

If you are looking for a great place for lunch, this place is deffinetly a must try. It is located at the golf course in Raymond, so you get a really nice view while eating. The staff is super friendly and had always been welcoming every time I go in, the food is so fresh, you are left full but not heavy, everything is homemade, you have to give the dr pepper BBQ wings a try when they make them! One of my favorites is the chicken sandwich, it is delightful!
