Best Restaurants Open for Newyears Eve this year in Quesnel – 2024

I did a delivery order. They forgot my rice but I called them and they delivered it right away. The food was amazing. I ordered the chicken tikka masala, tandori chicken and chicken pakora. The food was delicious. I definetly will be ordering again. The delivery guy was very friendly. I would highly recommend.

Passing through Quesnel for a late lunch and in search of a quality and reasonably priced meal with gluten free and dairy free options. Our family loved eating here. The food we ordered: butter chicken, coconut curry, veggie pakoras and tandoori vegetables was delicious! The rice with peas was a delicious surprise with roasted onions and the naan was soft and grilled perfectly. The decor and food showed a high attention to detail. The service was welcoming and the waiter brought ample water multiple times. Thank you for a memorable meal and stop in Quesnel!

We ate here in early December and we were delighted to find this spot. The prices are reasonable, portions are a good size and the food is great! I loved the Chai as well! It brought me back to Nepal!

An excellent meal! The onion rings and wings were very crispy and tasted really fresh. The Mushroom Swiss burger was large and well-made. The bartender made me a perfect Horseradish Ceasar. Everything was delicious. Service was great as well.

Was told I couldn't bring an outside drink in. Fair enough. But the reasoning was for food safe purposes; then they proceeded to touch my straw tips and glass rims with their fingers and hands. Is that not a food safe issue? Weird. Had the grilled cheese, wasn't anything magical. They do a good Caesar salad. Seating is bizarre, and not many tables.

The beginning was nice, seemed like a nice restaurant, but the food was below average and way too expensive, wanted to charge me $10 extra for a poutine instead of regular fries and $7 for an extra burger patty. Server was extremely rude at the end when I didn’t leave a tip, was basically harassed for a tip in front of my family members and felt very embarrassed. Never coming back ✌️

Food kind of tastes like it's from a restaurant supplier. The chili tastes like it was from a bag and my friend had no desire to eat the linguine Alfredo which I thought was alright but she said was inedible. We had to move a table to the fireplace because it was like, 55° in here. The wine special for Tues is nice. The atmosphere is pretty and the girl that was bartending was very sweet. Chili is pretty horrible. The blue cheese was pretty blue cheesy and tasty. Not a culinary beacon.

The wings we had here were great and the service was friendly, however once we got to our entrees all were bad, 3 of us ordered burgers, all of which were dry, tasteless, and had a stale bun. The one of us that ordered the bacon mac and cheese got a watery mess. When mentioned to our server they said they would mention it to management and then sent someone else to give us our bill and never even offered to resolve the situation. We will not be returning

Dinner for 6 included wonton soup and huge egg rolls which was a bonus and good price. The beef in black bean sauce was very tasty. We served and started eating right away cuz we were hungry so I only took two pics.

Great quality and value, friendly fast service. First time trying this restaurant after looking for Chinese food that was actually open on a Monday. We were pleasantly surprised and the folks in the restaurant were very friendly and happy to help. We ordered the jumbo combo and pork fried rice and the kitchen generously gave us a couple of dim sum samples which were delicious. Everything was very tasty and we appreciated that there was no MSG and first time we had sweet and sour sauce that was not with added food coloring. Definitely will go back. Looking forward to trying the weekend. buffet. I posted the current menu as the one I found online was quite old. Really glad we tried this restaurant. thank you!

Terrible experience. We were excited to try this restaurant since it’s new ownership. We ordered two combos for one at 7pm on a Monday night. The person taking the order told us 15 minutes. It took over an hour. They got our order wrong and several items were missing. No vegetables, rice, or prawns. We called and the person answering the phone apologized and assured us he would make it right and be sending out the missing items in 5 minutes. We only live a few blocks from the restaurant and it was another 45 minutes before we received that. The chow mein was dry. The sweet and sour pork was the texture of wet cardboard. The deep fried wontons were over cooked and disintegrating. The chop suey was greasy and strangely sweet. What a colossal disappointment! Not worth the headache or stomach ache I now have.

I saw some bad reviews but thought I'd give it a chance. Bad decision. This was a waste of $60. Could barely eat half of it. Combo 7 said spicy ginger beef and the 'beef' was breaded little nuggets with zero flavor. Chicken Chow Mein was basic but good. Had real chicken breast sliced on top. Rice was ok but plain. Deep-fried wontons only had about half a teaspoon of filling. The only bonus was the sweet and sour sauce cause without I would have eaten even less of the meal.

I'm picky about Chinese food... I had Fulin not too long ago and it was just awful, I would not go there again. However I am impressed with Kakalots! The lemon chicken and crispy chow mein with beef and broccoli were fresh and delicious! So good. My only issue with it was the high price but as far as delivery goes that's how it is these days and at least it was worth it for once which is often not the case.

Special fried rice delicious and the homemade dumplings too.

Stopped in for lunch. Not only was the food authentic but made to order and probably the best Indian food I have ever tried! Would highly recommend the Pakora & Samosa appetizers to start! Make sure you order the Garlic NaaN to

Tasty Touch Restaurant has started up their Saturday Buffet again. It is $20.95 for adults and $10.95 for children. It is Saturdays from 5 PM to 8 PM. Hooting was fresh and tasty. I really like the watermelon chunks for dessert. Tasty Touch Restaurant as new management, the hostesses name is Smile, she said it was OK to take her picture for the review, but she was too shy look at the camera. Note – you’ll have to ask them for salad dressing for the salad. The pale colour stuff in the dispenser that looks like salad dressing is not salad dressing, and is super super spicy.

Really enjoyed trying new items tonight with the buffet. Never thought I would say this - being a meatopian- but paneer was incredible. Tender, delicious, right amount of heat! And very good chai tea!

We're up visiting family from edmonton. Went to this restaurant for lunch today. They were open early compared to what the website said so that was very convenient. The staff that served us were exceptionally friendly and fast. The food was very fresh and delicious. We had the special fried rice, almond chicken, chicken chow mein, sweet and sour pork, beef and broccoli, and mini spring rolls. In comparison to most places we go to this was very comparable. The prices were decent the food was wonderful I would absolutely recommend this if you're passing through

My order arrived in a timely manner and was delicious. I had it delivered so I really can't comment on the atmosphere.

Stopped in for lunch while in town for some business. We were in and out in 28 minutes, 2 full meals served. Meals were made fresh to order, wear served very fast and the waiter was friendly. I stopped here one other time to grab some food for the trip back home and it was very good as well. Best Sushi I've had in Quesnel, will definitely be back!

Love travelling to quesnel to pop in at our favourite sushi place! Food is always fantastic tried something new this time and delicious.

I love the food. We mostly get take out but once in a while eat in. The food has always been absolutely excellent. They are very busy but are still fast and courteous. The fact that they are so busy is that they have a reputation for great food. Love having Ginza Ichiban in our city!

We had a fantastic time at the restaurant! The service was exceptional, and the staff seemed to genuinely enjoy their work. The food was delicious, and their attentiveness made our meal even more special. I inquired about the ingredients in the veggie patty, and the staff kindly provided me with a picture of the list, which I truly appreciated!

The food was great. I had a bacon mushroom mike burger with fries, and it was awesome . The only thing that could have made it better was if it was a homemade beef patty. The service was perfect. I will definitely be coming back. I was thoroughly impressed.

I haven't been to a Mr Mike's for 20 years. I was in Quesnel and craving a Mike burger after seeing their restaurant. Huge hopes from a decades old memory. Took a road trip back the next day to the Golden City. It was really good! Fries were perfect too. Lovely staff. Dare to dream about a particularly tasty cheese burger. I added mushrooms and bacon.

We ordered take out and it was $130. The beef and brocoli was a stretch at best more like broccoli and onions. The almond chicken looked like it was rolled out with a rolling pin before breading and most of the breaded pieces contained no chicken. Same for chicken balls and prawns, mostly just breading. First and last time ordering from here

Food was on the cold side and rather dry. It arrived very quickly after we ordered, which suggests that it hadn't been freshly prepared. The lukewarm serving temperature added to my suspicion that the ingredients had been sitting around the kitchen for a while.

I got take out, and it was awesome! The delivery woman was great friendly she made me laugh. My dog even liked her! Bought a meal for two. Had lots of leftovers! Next time, I think I'll just order a plate!

10 out of 10 service and food I've ordered multiple times and it's good everytime. They've only missed something once and were more than willing to fix it.

I ordered the chicken enchiladas for takeout. They weren’t that bad but they weren’t also that amazing. My first bite was cold, so I did have to heat it up prior to eating it. I was also charged for extra sauce, when I asked for it to be saucy. I was told the meal would be spicy but it was just mild. Not really spicy at all. The cashier was friendly though. Overall, it was an okay experience.

The service is super friendly. They were helpful. The place was clean. The food was excellent. Good flavouring on the fried chicken. Both the chicken poutine and the Mexican poutine were excellent. The only reason they’re losing one star is because the children’s menu was inadequate. The taco was plain with very little flavour or toppings. Definitely not worth it I would recommend getting anything but the kids menu.

Good comfort food. Order ahead for pick up so you don't have to wait. It's worth the wait tho coz food is good. Kinda like a fast food but good quality. Good fried chicken for your cravings!

It's understandable to see the same relaxed atmosphere at Quesnel. It is a pleasure to have a breakfast in the Denny's Restaurant. Suman was friendly, kind and had a beautiful smile! Food was tasty. This a pretty decent Denny's. Good location. Super staff. Reasonably priced food. Great place to bring friends. Overall, one of the better Denny's on the North American Continent

Best omlet I have had in decades! Hannah was a great waitress and the Host was quick to get us coffees when we sat down. Only disappointment was that the air conditioning was so cold!

The inside of the place is very welcoming and open. The server was happy and having fun. As I looked at their large summer drink refreshers at the front door I knew they would be good because the server and i had a good laugh about the one I choose. Then I ordered the spicy saracha chicken sandwich. The banana papers made it ! The combo of the lite breaded chicken with a Swiss cheese and those pepers was just what I needed.

This looks like a little hole-in-the-wall place. Felt a little sketchy when pulling up and the parking sign takes you around the back past boarded up buildings and homeless camps. Once inside it's an older building with basic tables and chairs. Service was good and food was decent, just a little on the greasy side. Overall a decent breakfast.

Best breakfast spot in Quesnel! Great atmosphere. Incredible food. Top notch service. These people really care about their customers! And Wow! A full Gluten Free Menu!

4 if us ordered the burgers and they all had mold on the tomatoes. Not sure how the kitchen missed that but the mold was very visible. Unfortunately we decided to eat somewhere else so can't comment on the taste of the food. Server was nice and only charged us for our drinks and even offered to pack up the fries for us.

I ordered the Canucks burger, and it is the best burger I've ever had. Not just saying that cuz I'm a canucks fan lol, poutine is best I've ever had. I get burgers everywhere I go, this one blew me away. The restaurant is gorgeous, and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and professional. I'd rate 6 stars if I could. I found my restaurant for when I pass through quesnel. Now time to try their pizza

-I ordered the chicken parmesan. It came with two chicken breasts! Loaded with cheese! Chicken great! The vegetables I think were frozen then steamed, a bit cold inside still. The rice was okay. -The chicken strips were good! -We went here on our road trip because they were open later than everywhere else. Service was really good too!!
