The reviews are legit! This place is a hidden gem. We had a lovely breakfast with my kids, mom and husband. The service was good despite only one person working, she did awesome and they were very respectful of my daughter's allergies. More importantly, the FOOD was AMAZING!!! Crispy gorgeous potatoes, really yummy pancake and waffles and great coffee. Will absolutely go back!

We ordered via a delivery service and were very pleased with the food from PK's Diner. We gave a 5 for atmosphere as we have read reviews stating how comfortable the diner is and therefore had to give a 5 for that reason. We had the Bacon Cheeseburger and Clubhouse sandwich. Both were delicious. My husband said that the burger is one of the best that he has had. The burger was loaded with tomatoes, bacon and onions and he really liked the burger sauce that came with it as well. The bacon was thick and my husband said that the caramelized onions made the burger. I also found my Clubhouse to have been very good also with thick bacon, ham, and a generous amount of grilled chicken. The fries were crispy and the picture with the Clubhouse did not have all the fries that came with the order. We both have left overs for tomorrow. We are always cautiously optimistic when ordering home delivery due to the food not being fresh out of the kitchen. Well, we were so pleased with our meals and will definitely be ordering again. We are looking forward to trying out more items on the menu. Thank you so much PK's.

We love PK Cafe’!!! The service is excellent, super friendly staff. Their breakfast menu is almost like desserts, especially waffles and French toasts are unbelievable delicious, moist and crispy at the same time! I love my chicken lemongrass, so tender and flavourful. We can’t wait to try all of their dishes. To add to how wonderful this place is…the price is so affordable!

Cute little Thai spot with very attentive service. They actually take the time to pack your food. Delicious and good portions. - Spring rolls were jam packed with ingredients and incredibly crispy. - Chicken wings had such a unique lemon/spicy and lemongrass taste - Seadoo red Thai curry - sweet and spicy with coconut flavour. Served with rice. - Pad Thai - large portion, well made.

We’ve dined here twice, and have found the dishes to be excellent, in terms of taste, quality and portions. I’d easily highly recommend this Thai place, over many, cause of their authenticity and flavours.

We discovered this hidden gem of a restaurant today and it was a hit!! We ordered veggie red curry, and rice and basil, and regular and coconut thai iced tea, and coconut shrimps. As you can see, their portion was more than enough and our tastebuds were satisfied! Our belly was satisfied, and we look forward to tasting more food from the menu in the future.

Delicious food freshly cooked from scratch, awesome atmosphere, superb customer service. The best place to have Christmas party as well as small gatherings. Highly recommend

We were staying at the Poco Inn for several days and we decided to try Izba. We had gone once last year for breakfast and wanted to try other things on the menu this time. Food is absolutely amazing here. Service was excellent. We dined in and did take out a few times. We can't wait to come back to dine in when we visit BC again. The Pork Hock was amazing and I had to order it twice.

We ate here as we stayed at the hotel for work, and I may come back to try some of the other menu items, based on the compliments of the others in the group. The server was pleasant, as well as enthusiastic and knowledgeable about his menu recommendations. He was courteous about checking in and giving us space for our meeting. The seating was comfortable, and even when it got busy at dinnertime, the ambient noise level still leant to easy conversation.

It's probably my favorite or second favorite pizza place in Vancouver! Been coming here for more than 15 years. The foods great, you have to wait a bit but worth it. It was always expensive but with todays economy the prices have jumped a lot too so I find myself going there a lot less than before. More like an special occasion.

This establishment has the best pizza on the planet. If you have never tried it, do yourself a favor and try it. Other menu items worth mentioning are the pastas and the Greek salad. Great atmosphere and top notch service from Rohma.

Cozy interior with warm lighting. We ordered seafood linguine and shrimp saffron spaghetti. Seafood linguine was so tasty. Shrimp saffron spaghetti was mild and creamy but delicious.

I had an incredible dining experience at Jimoco! The seafood risotto and truffle fries I ordered were absolutely delicious – packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. A special shoutout to the manager, Jessica, for her outstanding service. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect. I left with a great impression of the food and service and will definitely be coming back again.

This is place is a gem! Loved everything from service, decor, and atmosphere to the food Portions were reasonable as well as the price, especially their lunch menu! Each dish was flavorful and was not overpowering or over salty. I felt welcomed and at east with their friendly and genuine service and attitude.

I would like to start off with the atmosphere, which has so family vibes. Server was okay although she was sleepy in a way. Food was good, had a good taste and I think it was a bit too much on sauces which make the sushi a bit soggy. Overall food was pretty decent. Love ❤️ their green tea. The reviews are right, Kai Japanese Restaurant is some of the best sushi I've ever had. Super flavorfull, perfect portions and a great variety of choices. I would return to try more for sure. The service was great, restaurant had a great vibe to it. Highly recommend trying them out.

The best sushi place in town all the plates they make are beautiful and high quality. We always enjoy dinner here with our family, it's a great bonding time together at a nice restaurant.

Ordered Koubideh and lamb shank, it was good but lamb taste could be better, needs to have more flavor. Also the Dough was really tasty.

Take out restaurant, the place appears clean and tidy. The staff are welcoming and friendly. Had the beef kebob small platter and that was more than enough. Lots of options.

Stopped in for the first time in a long time actually. A friend of mine and myself were just going to stop in for a couple quick Beers, but decided on a couple Appetizers as well. Had the Hot Wings and Salt and Pepper Dry Ribs, and both were actually very good, and great flavors on both of them. After checking out the menu while having our first beers while waiting for our food to arrive, we definitely noticed that the menu was very nice with lots of different options to it. And lots of Gluten Free options as well since a friend of mine, as well as a few others I know definitely have problems with Gluten. ( Good to see ) As so many places don't really cater to that. Also Orrange has a nice Gluten Free Beer as well. I had their own House Beer ( Lager ) that was pretty good. They also have Beer Flights and Margarita Flights as well. Will definitely be back again, and bring some others along with us next time

So I was there for a birthday party. Spent $150 and got the poutine to go…I think I count 6 pieces of cheese on my $15 poutine? I have not been there since it’s grand opening and my review remains the same…abysmal. Ordered deep fried pickles in the restaurant which was great. One server on a Sunday evening. Had to order via the bartender a few times but still got my orders at a timely manner. No complaints with the service…But this to go poutine had me at disgust. Will not be going back anytime soon…or ever.

This is my third time coming here on Thursday night It’s empty at 7:30 pm. They don’t except reservations after 5 pm. I ordered 3 dishes of Medium spicy but none of them were spicy it’s kind of disappointing. And the side of the dish is small portions but pricey . However, if you are caving for Thai food you should try it because I have been trying to find good Thai Restaurants for long time in Vancouver, Burnaby. Only this one I would like to come back.

Very tasty dishes. The curry Thai was delicious as well as the pad Thai. The mango dessert was a treat. Great service and food.

Our first time here but won’t be our last. They have a dedicated vegan menu which was much appreciated. The shrimp fried rice was 10/10 and we had a basil tofu dish that had lovely flavours. Service was friendly and prompt. Atmosphere was chill and good for date night. Easy parking as well. Definitely recommend.

Good place for big group gatherings and drinks. I shared seafood tower and we only shared with 4 people and it wasn’t enough. But quality was good. One thing that I noticed was that portions of Sangria were really small.. I was a little disappointed.

Great atmosphere and tasty food. The burger was flavorful with fresh toppings, though the bacon was too crispy and slightly burnt. Fries were perfectly seasoned and crispy. The steak was well-cooked, served with crispy onions, mushrooms, and creamy mashed potatoes. Despite the bacon, the overall meal was satisfying.

It has good vive. The food wasn’t same that I expected but it was good. Especially risotto with chicken! The price was quite expensive I think because of the popularity. Next time I wanna try Seafood tower or platter.

We recently visited this restaurant again and noticed that the portions of some dishes are quite large for one person. This time, we decided to share, which worked out perfectly. The food tastes great, the quality is excellent, and the staff is incredibly friendly. The environment is clean, modern, and welcoming. One of the highlights is the open kitchen, which lets you see the chefs at work—always a nice touch. The only downside is the noise level. The sound seems to reflect a lot, likely due to the ceramic flooring, which is easy to clean but amplifies noise. The ceiling also doesn’t seem to have much for sound absorption. It was a bit crowded on a Saturday morning, but that’s to be expected for such a popular spot. Overall, a great experience!

So happy to finally have brunch and it did not disappoint! The location is easy to find and lots of free parking. The atmosphere is easy and friendly and the food and service were excellent. Can’t wait to come back. Returned with my family and it was even better. Our server Gurleen was an absolute delight while she managed a busy restaurant full of guests. Today was savory and it was amazing. The boys shared the big 3 and it was more than enough. Can’t wait to come back!

I ordered the apple cinnamon French toast but there was not a single piece of apple on it. My friend ordered the same thing and again, no apple. It was still very good but I don’t know if the missing apple was an oversight or if it doesn’t come with it then the description is misleading. Overall I liked the restaurant - very lively and popular and will come back to try some of the other menu options.

My mum and I had lunch there on Saturday and everything was perfect. The drinks were delicious, and so were our meals. I had the prawn power bowl and it was so well balanced and I'd definitely recommend. The service was also great.

sucks that there are such mixed reviews!!! i had the salt and pepper wings with a side of hot sauce and they absolutely hit the spot. the wings were crispy but not too breaded and had lots of meat on them!! tasted so delicious as well as the fries (u might think how can fries be bad) but i have very high fry standards and these were crispy, hot fresh and delicious…not too salty!! They had a delicious garlic dipping sauce that paired perfectly i definitely recommend trying these out!! The space is so gorgeous. It is quite a fancy atmosphere which was a little unexpected for the location, i’d love to come back for drinks as well!! The server was very kind and accommodating :)

Had read good reviews but this was a disappointing and mediocre experience. Hostess was lovely and the server was trying but had no idea about the food or drink and couldn’t answer any basic questions and didn’t really seem to be trained at all. If craft beer is on the menu either have the details on a board or train your servers to know a bit about your beer and wines. My heritage is Portuguese and I cannot see how this is in any way Portuguese influenced food. Chicken was clearly reheated with sauce poured over it, grilled veggies and mashed potatoes were ok. Chicken was extremely dry and rubbery. Arrived way too quickly to be fresh. We only had two mains;a chicken bowl and grilled chicken meal. Weren’t compelled to try anything else. Underwhelming. Prices ok but quality not there. Not a good value.

I can’t wait to come back here again! Such fantastic food and a fun environment. The fried chicken was top notch and the waffles were some of the best we’ve ever had. The breakfast truly felt homemade and with care. The kids breakfast was a great size and my kiddo was very happy. Service was okay; you can tell the servers are very busy maintaining a constant flow of customers. It was efficient and we didn’t have to wait overly long for our food. We did have to wait 20 mins to get a table initially, but we wrote our name and number down and were called when our table is ready. There is plenty of free parking around. This has the be the best breakfast I’ve had in the tri cities.

This is the best place Ive had brunch in Vancouver. Food was delicious, the place was so cozy and had the perfect temperature. I went with my sister and we share the Benny Eggs with cubed potatoes fries and pan cakes and hot chocolate. Everything was so tasty and well done, the eggs were pefectly done and the pancakes werw so fluffy.

Great brunch spot in the center of Shaugnessy. Came in Sunday around noonish, luckily no lineup. Food took a little bit but was definitely worth it as it tasted great! Seems like service is team based? It was a little confusing who was taking care of our table. Overall great experience

Very popular local breakfast and brunch spot. Be ready for a wait, but it's worth it if you're looking for generous portions and sweet rewards. We ordered a few dishes to try: Apples and Cinnamon were exactly that. Sweet and delicious with just enough tartness. The Mexicasa Omelet was savoury and spicy. Wonderfully satisfying, and a huge portion. We had a hard time deciding between The King Kong and Bowser. But the toasted coconut won, and we went with Bowser. Believe it or not, it wasn't too sweet. The flavour and texture of the pancake helped to balance the dish.

Quiet and cozy place on weekdays. My favorite dish of all time is Veggie I Love You, which comes with a pancake. The veggies are always fresh and neatly sliced. The only drawback is the high price

Amazing service from Shauna, fast en friendly. I had the chocolate waffle, insane! And huge portions. But the savory pancake not the best, hipster hash. The pancake was good but the side of hash and vegetables were not very good.
