Place was great to sit and eat was a little crowded for my liking, over all food was delicious and worth the price point and portions are fairly sized, service was awesome I like how they didn't ask how the food was while my mouth was full, service was attended not as I like had to ask most of the night but over all amazing I would recommend a nice sit down dinner here for a group or a romantic night out, food was out in a timely manner and didn't feel like I was waiting long I was most definitely full after my meal. Strong 3,given due to great food, good service and atmosphere. I recommend dinner hear you would enjoy yourself.
Wasn’t pleased with the antipasto platter, the cube cheese was a cheap no name brand. Not good. And my Singapore Sling had no pineapple juice. You could of told me that, I would of ordered something else. Food was great, and our waitress was extremely friendly, great at her job.
We had an amazing dinner last night at San Macro's. Food and drinks were incredible, staff are friendly and inviting. The restaurant is clean, modern and welcoming. Highly recommend and we will be back! Thanks Monica, we will ask for our spot in the corner of the bar :)

Be-aware this was our first experience. I know sometimes you can catch places on bad days but truthfully I was shocked at our experience. We walked into the dining area to be the only table on the none bar side, the environment is nice very loud and noise, even the kitchens music was loud we could hear it from our seats. The bar side was packed but an adequate amount of servers covering both sides. Our server took our order for apps and our kids meal and brought back drinks and we ordered our meals. The app felt like it took forever between 30-40 minutes for pretzels, to the point of my drink being empty after slowly sipping them and to also note not offered a refill or checked on. We got the wrong order for our kids meal from ordering a grilled cheese to being served chicken nuggets it was quickly exchanged within 10 minutes. My son ordered a spaghetti which was very chunky tomatoes, we all know kids don't like chunky food luckily he's chill and pushed them to the side but I felt the pasta sauce was very bland no flavor or vegetables or anything just felt like tomatoes out of a can. Once we were served our food I thought my Shepherds pie tasted off and after two bites I was completely turned off I had felt as though some of the meat was still pink and not cooked fully. We also got a steak sandwich which wasn't that bad thankfully. The best part of the whole meal was the French fries. We were waiting for ever we had stacked our plates and where going to order the ice cream that our children get with their meals however our server was more occupied talking with her other server, my children had gotten impatient and decided they didn't want their dessert anymore and my husband had to go track down the server. The service was by far the worst I've had in a while, to seeing a $23 dollar meal have two bites taken out and being left behind to be thrown in the garbage... Unfortunately I just don't think we would be returning to this restaurant.
I have been going to the Steele and Clover Public House for over 1 yr. The lady that works behind the bar is Debbie. She is extremely courteous to me .She is extremely polite. I always have steak on a bun which is the best I have ever had. Debbie is very customer service focused and a great asset to the business. I look forward to going there soon.
The service is very good, we arrived on a very busy day and it was still fast. The food is delicious, the price is worth it, the portions are generous.

We came across the street from work for a great lunch. Our server was awesome - friendly and energetic which was great. The reviews were great on the beers. I had the pretzel which was delicious. Other great reviews on the pizza! Breakwall is great - we walked around the block as it was a gorgeous day. Great spot to appreciate how nice downtown is on a sunny fall day. Will definitely be back.
We stayed in the area from PA for our anniversary. This place was DELICIOUS!! I'm not sure what they do to the fries, but I would come back just for them. We ordered a pizza to go and, oh my, if we were local we would get it every week. If you are American they give you paper straws and you have to ask for napkins. So, bring your own straw :).
Rode the Friendship Trail into Port Colborne and stopped at Breakwall Brewing. GREAT DESTINATION with refreshing beverages!! Make sure if you are in the Port that you stop and relax with a bevy on the patio
Melina’s Family Restaurant is a warm and inviting dining establishment dedicated to providing a delightful culinary experience for guests of all ages. Located in the heart…
While visiting Port Colborne, we decided to have lunch at this Family Restaurant. The place was actually bigger than it looks when you first walk in. It was a popular place and there was a bit of a lineup, but it moved quickly. They had both a breakfast and lunch menu, so lots to choose from. We decided to get the spinach & feta cheese omelette ... and an order of Eggs Benedict. The home fries that came with the meals were really good, however, the English muffins under the Eggs Benedict were a little burnt on the bottom. Also, their brewed coffee was not the best. Having said that, it was still an enjoyable meal with excellent service and a pleasant atmosphere. Was reminiscent of restaurants I have visited in the States with wholesome home-cooked meals. Very satisfying and filling. Just a heads up though ... they only accept cash and they close at 2, ... but there is an ATM machine right on the premises. I recommend going here if you're in the area and don't know where to eat.
Cozy restaurant with generous portions and reasonable prices. The food we ordered was very good, esp. the pork souvlaki. Highly recommend when you are in the area.
Really love this restaurant. We had breakfast which was delicious. Nice touch with onions on the home fries (server will ask you if you want onions). Perfect eggs, really good bacon, ham and sausages. Good coffee and tea. Tasty OJ and toast. Staff is wonderful. This will be our go-to place . NOTE: CASH ONLY - there is an ATM inside.

Good place to get late-night food and beer. The food is quite good -- especially the broasted chicken. Sometimes the music is a little loud due to the acoustics of the place, but the bartender has turned it down when I asked. There is a pool room at the back and it has a very laid-back atmosphere in general. I appreciate places that are open late, since I often work so late that there is nowhere else open in the city.
usually don’t complain on these but we were the only ones in there, server took awhile before asking us for drinks., food took over an hour and was given to us at very separate times. a lot of uncleanliness. and food was complete garbage. definitely not the spot.
My husband and I stopped by for a quick drink and it was such an amazing/fun vibe! The host was very friendly and checked up on each table quite often. We mentioned we were on our mini honeymoon and he even got us free shots and did a cheers/shout out! Do stop by this bar if you are looking for a good and casual time. The picture of is there special vodka fish bowl!
The Lock Wood Fired Pizza is a premier dining destination that specializes in crafting authentic wood-fired pizzas, bringing the art of traditional Italian cooking to the local…
We stopped by the Lock Wood Fired Pizza this past weekend after seeing some good reviews. Service was good, quick, friendly and helpful. We got some lock chips for an appetizer which were very good, nicely seasoned and cooked well. We tried the Meat Lovers and BBQ Steak Pizzas, the toppings were very fresh and a healthy amount. The cheese was excellent as was the sauce. The crust was dynamite, light, airy and consistent throughout the pizza. Very nice wood fired taste. Overall, very well made pizzas, prices were fair. Definitely worth checking out if you have a pizza craving or if you’re in the area.
This is the good stuff. While it's not sourdough (only a handful in Canada use sourdough), the crust was still tasty with just the right amount of char and the sauce was the real highlight of this pizza. This is an easy addition to my weekly eat outs, and I'm so lucky to have stumbled across this pizzeria. Premium Neapolitan without the markup. Win, win, win.
I liked it, I got the New York thin - but I feel like the crust is just a little too hard. That’s my only complaint. Pricing is up there, but it’s quality. The garlic dip that they use is the same that Pizza Nova has private labelled, which is a really good one! I would go back, but probably would try something other than the New York thin to see if the crust is any softer and not so “cracker” type.

Stopped in for a quick bite while we were out on a motorcycle ride and the food and atmosphere didn’t disappoint! The options were great as well as the portions, will definitely be back.
This place is even better than I remember! Haven't been here in years, we came before a show in Ridgeway. It's small, so it was packed, but we looked over the menu while we were waiting so we were ready to order as soon as we sat down. The Bulgogi Bowl wouldn't have been my first choice, but my friend said she'd had the dish elsewhere before. Having it with the tempeh, it was a tasty vegan dish. It's incredible how many vegan dishes they have! Go try it out! But if you're fixed on a day/time, make sure you reserve a table.
I have been coming to the Smokin Buddha for years, whenever I’m in Port Colborne I try to stop in. The staff are amazing - the food is delicious and the service is fantastic. On my last visit, I tried the Shahi paneer. It was a bit more tomato-ey than I expected, but was still yummy. In the past I ordered the peanut curry chicken and it was my favourite. The garlic naan is super fresh and yummy.

Me and my wife checked out this little hidden gem the other day and Holy hell I gotta say their soup is without a doubt the best soup iv had in a long time, I highly recommend anyone in the area or just passing through to pick up some, you get what you pay for, imagine when you were a kid and your grandmother made soup for you when you were sick, yeah that's the feeling I got when I tried it, I will be coming back for life
These guys are open again, selling only frozen selections have a web site .Great place highly recommend.
First time in. The owner was extremely helpful, patient and friendly. Everything is fresh frozen with no preservatives. So far I have only had the chicken pot pie and a chicken soup, both of which were delicious. As an added bonus the owner is working on a delivery platform.

Fantastic food at this small family-run hidden gem. Had a great experience from first walking in the door. Warm & cozy atmosphere, very attentive and friendly. It looks like everyone is family and pitches in where necessary to make sure you have a great experience. Everything was beautifully plated, properly portioned, and very obviously fresh and homemade. Will definitely be back again.
I had heard great reviews for the food and was happy with our meal. The chicken souvlaki was tender, juicy and delicious with the pan fried perch equally so. And their presentation is definitely talented and detailed. But the night was brought to disappoint by the hour and a half wait for our food to come put with hardly any interaction from our servers. The hostess had apologized as they were quite busy that night, despite the dining room being less than half full. Perhaps the patio hosted more people than could be seen as it was dark and the lights didn't get turned on till near the end of the meal. I can only assume they had been short staffed in the kitchen and we would have appreciated some warning as we had come early at a little after 5pm, and with toddler who had to leave before her food came. They were gracious enough to own up to their short coming, comped my wife's penne that we brought home for her, and earned my respect for that.
First time here we met our friend on the beautiful patio which offered a great ambiance. It was pleasant at 6 pm but got quite cool after 7:30. We loved it!! The lights were turned on by Hue the owner before it got too dark as we had a beautiful tree overhead. No birds or wasps to worry about. Quite a cute little hidden gem here. Our friend ordered the N.Y striploin with a creamy peppercorn sauce and a mound of mixed veggies. I tried a bite and it was phenomenal! However we had the seafood pasta and it appeared that they were short on scallops, shrimp and calamari and mussels. 3 scallops bigger than bay but not at all worthy of being a sea scallop. 2 calamari rings and 4 shrimp not big at all and 2 smaller ones and 2 mussels. It was hardly a good portion of pasta especially for the price. It was served with one little piece of garlic bread. Don’t bother with the 4 pieces of crab cakes if you want to call them that. It was more like crab bites and tasted like they were compressed. That was a big disappointment. We were given complimentary hummus and pita. Hiba our server was out of this world, outstanding! Very inviting, friendly lady and very attentive! She and the ambiance were the best part of our experience at this fine establishment. The food did not meet our expectations overall but we did have a lovely evening. Thank you Hiba and Hue. It was a 45 min drive and not sure we will return because of the portions and price.

We had Saganaki (the Greek flaming cheese) as an appetizer with pita bread, it was good Greek salad, the feature Saturday dish, Ribeye, which was a huge cut of beef and delicious! Lamb chops done medium rare. It was pretty good. Great service! Older decor and intimate atmosphere.
Omg, the food was amazing. My hubby had the prime rib dinner and absolutely loved it. It was tender and juicy and a generous serving.
Enjoyed the service and the food. We started with the saganaki (flamed cheese), then mussels, gyros and lemon meringue to finish. Everything was flavourful.

My husband and I stayed in the area from the States. This was a delicious place! Canada's cured meat is so much better than the US haha. This was the best sausage and bacon I've had! Service was a little slow and she would finish sentences as she was walking away-- but, wouldn't stop me from going here. It was also reasonably priced!
Always a pleasure to eat here. The portions are generous and reasonably priced. Everything is made to order and delicious. Family-run, home-style, cash only. The "small" breakfast was $8.99 and filled the whole plate. Two eggs, sunny-side up, generous portion of well-done bacon, home-fries with onions (you can order w/o onions) I like mine well-done. You can specify how you like everything cooked.
Breakfast Barn is my favourite joint in town. My spouse and I decided to try someplace new for brunch. Despite today's snow storms, their cozy little ”barn” was open for ready-to-serve. Our waitress was great and very attentive. That said, be aware that you pay for coffee refills (it says so on the menu, but I missed that part). I ordered my eggs over easy, and they cooked them to perfection. The bacon was thick, the breakfast sausage was some of the best we ever had, and the potatoes served with onions hit the spot. Props to the chef, she seemed sweet, and you could tell she cooked with love. 10/10 would recommend Breakfast Barn!

A special item that Mulberry's creates is their version of a Panzerotti. They fold over a pizza and bake it in the oven. Then they put cheese on it. It tastes even better than it looks. Very reasonably priced and it comes with a side of sauce for dipping. My suggestion is to request 2 containers of sauce. It is amazing also. This one had 4 items, was under $15 and came packed in a pizza box. Like a work of art from a small town pizza artisan.
Really great food and good pricing, Panzerotti and Stromboli were amazing. The first time eating here and definitely will not be the last Update: Best panzerotti and Stromboli love this place!!!!
1st time going, hoping for a dine in experience-more like a fast food seating that we were not expecting. Took food to go and ate at home- amazing!
