Well now. We had a choice between Gigi’s pizza or to try a new restaurant. So we went to Ye old Orchard in the Pointe Claire village. The sign on the front door says to go through the terrace entrance. Other people were there before us and were waiting and waiting. They got tired of waiting and they intruded to find a table. Same happened to us. Nobody to check new customers in. We pushed in and Anna, the waitress happened by. It seems to bother her to have to deal with us. I asked for a table for 2 and a few tables were bussed but not cleaned. She said we could sit over there if we didn’t mind. Right from that point, I could feel her bad attitude. No smile no welcome not happy to serve ONE more table. We could see at least 3 more waiters, all busy. To make a long story short, we had to ask her twice to wipe our table. We asked 4 times to get water glasses and we only received them because another waiter intervened. She finally took our order. At this point, no utensils no water still. She then brought the plates. Had to return with utensils and ketchup(asked twice and they fill brand mark ketchup with cheep one, taste awful). She never checked on us after that. I had to ask another waiter for the bill and a take out box. I said where is our waitress? He answered that her shift was over. She just left and abandoned our table. Good service from the male waiter. Extremely bad service from Anna(He said her name was). Food: butter chicken was good as per my hubby. Fried pickles good. Chicken fingers and fries over deep fried, almost broke a tooth. No salad option over fries. Expensive. Lovely garden, no bugs. Would not recommend.
Came here on a saturday during the day for a drink and snack. The service was amazing, very friendly staff. We got seated on there little patio outside. I say that this place is a must if you are in the area. The drinks were refreshing. We got the onion soup and the fried pickles. The onion soup was one of the best I've ever had anywhere. Definitely would come back to have a bigger bite and maybe for dinner at night time .
Great pub food in the Pointe Claire Village. We had the Irish Stew and the Stout-Braised Beef. The stew was enormous and came with nice toasty bread. The braised beef was fork tender and served on creamy mashed potatoes. Great place & ambience for a chilly evening, or even a quick lunch while walking the Village.

We organized a corporate happy hour and Alex (manager) made sure everything was to our liking. The fine-tune details were recognized. We had a perfect setup and our waiter Lambros was excellent at his job! His customer service was remarkable. We highly recommend Lucille’s and we look forward to our next event.
First time at this location. On a Friday at lunch the place was packed. The service was excellent despite the hustle and bustle. Everything looked delicious. For dietary reasons I had the Sea bass and green salad. It was ok. The oysters and shrimp cocktail and chopped salad were great.
I am severely sensitive to gluten. Friends chose the location. I called ahead and they said they could accommodate me. Waiter was attentive. Extremely limited options for gluten free. Only choices I had was oysters for an appetizer, steak or sea bass with mixed greens and a lemon vinaigrette. I went with oysters and the fish. It was good and I didn’t get sick but there were no sides or any other choices. The food was good but not worth the cost. My husband got salmon and it only came with some lettuce. For what we paid, I’d rather go to the Keg next door and eat an entire meal and have more safe GF choices.

We had an amazing experience at Lou's! Our waitress and barmaid, Nadya, was incredibly helpful and attentive. She guided us through both the drinks and food menu with expertise, making excellent recommendations that truly enhanced our dining experience. Her friendly demeanor and knowledge made us feel welcome and well cared for. The food was delicious, and the drinks were perfectly crafted. We can't wait to return!
Everything we ordered were fantastic. Highly recommend the spicy tuna carpaccio, beef tartare, crab cake, baked scallops as appetizers. Pasta and rib steaks (25oz) were also good. Only minor thing was the fires was overly salted otherwise it was very good fries. Great service and chill vibe. Nice to see that West Island have this kind of restaurant. Highly recommended. The downside was that the restaurant was very warm and humid. Like some other reviews mentioned. The AC definitely not working well.
Had such a lovely dinner at Lou’s. Definitely recommend a reservation. Great atmosphere and service was lovely. It’s so fun to have a nice spot in Point Claire. I died for the cocktails - they’re amazing. The burger is perfect and the fries are SO good. Had the tuna carpaccio which is a must and for dessert the bread pudding is to die for. Definitely excited to come back.

This is my favourite brunch spot in all of Montreal. They have THE BEST fried chicken and pancakes around and their home-fries are to die for. This is a family run business and the staff is extremely nice and welcoming. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone! Pro Tip: Try the spicy maple syrup with the home-fries. You’re welcome:)
Great experience- highly recommended! Old school deli charm with modern fresh menu. We had four different dishes and loved them all. The spinach omelette - delicious. The scrambled eggs- perfect. The buttermilk pancakes- amazing. Stupidly good. The avo toast- amazing. This is served with delicious halloumi. Their house potatoes are so good that I would go back just to eat them! Sarah and her colleague gave us the best service. So welcoming and efficient. Very decent prices. We will definitely be back. Thank you for the great experience!
Love this place, makes me feel like I am in a family dinner. Chicken and waffles, or the pancakes of the month, Huevo rancheros, even regular scrambled eggs! Their potatoes, everything is good!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Scarolies Pasta Emporium is a west island staple. It's been around for many years and whilst their menu could use an update, their food is classic and tasty. You can find a wide variety of Italian food ranging from, pastas, pizza, salads and a few others. The portions are healthy and have a home style to their dishes. I recommend to stick with a pasta dish rather than pizza, it's what they do, and they do it well. Definitely worth trying, I love the warm baguette dipped in the olive oil and balsamic vinegar! Lovely touch!
Been a while since I've been to an Italian restaurant as busy as this place, and a Wednesday no less. The atmosphere is loud, busy but fun. People laughing and having a great time that makes it feel like you're at a massive family dinner. The food was fantastic but be sure to come hungry, the portions are beyond most people's capacity to finish. The bread is fresh and the drinks are cold. Be prepared to wait a bit if it's busy but worth the wait. Highly recommended
From the moment we walked in, my mom and I were treated like royalty. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was impeccable. Every detail, from the attentive staff to the perfectly prepared dishes, was superb. This restaurant holds a special place in my heart—my dad, mom, and I shared wonderful moments here before he passed. Returning felt like the perfect way to celebrate life, savor incredible food, and cherish the carefree joy of simply being together. A truly unforgettable experience.

It’s not my first time in this location but this one is our go-to restaurant. Food is the best. If you crave for seafood, this is the perfect place for you. And the service is amazing. They have the best people here. It’s perfect for celebrations too. They have the space to accommodate enough people for birthday celebrations or if you are a large group of people that looking for a place to eat. But I do believe that to see is to believe that’s why you have to go and check out this place and experience all this and thank me later. :) btw they made my birthday extra special. First time to receive that kind of treatment from a restaurant. Anyways, even without this, I would still go back no matter what. It’s just my go-to seafood boil place. What else can I say ;)
I tried seau de crabe in Laval in December and really didn’t like it. My friend really wanted to try the new West Island location. It’s safe to say we both won’t be trying any location again. The food is simply not heated properly, way too overcooked or cold, the seafood is very small and low quality. My friend paid an extra 30$ for a lobster tail that she didn’t touch. You need to fight to get the meat out of all the shells and it just doesn’t taste good, the sauce isn’t well distributed, some pieces taste way too spicy and some no spice. I asked them to not cook the seafood too long because last time it was way overcooked and they told me they cook everything in the same pot, they aren’t able to cook it differently… It’s frustrating to pay so much for food that just isn’t edible. Corn was cold. Everything was cold YET overcooked dry and stale. Not for me. Barely any meat in the crawfish lobster and snow crab. They don’t leave any scissors or shell crackers on the table, we brought our own. Just a big no for me, they gave me fresh hot corn and mussels as well as tried to cut my bill in half but I didn’t accept because I’m not complaining to get some $$ off I just want good food it shouldn’t be so hard, it’s your only mission. I tried captain boil in Ottawa and it was fantastic in comparison.
I went on a Friday night. The sauce they give for the fried calamari and shrimp is excellent. I got the shrimp salad which was ok as well. The service was fast and the waitress gave an excellent service.

It's my first time eating a steak in a restaurant so my expectations were high, perhaps unrealistic. I ordered it medium. I was expecting more searing o.o I found it average. The sides (salad and potatoes) were good. It was for my birthday and they gave me a slice of cake, which is appreciated. Service and atmosphere were good no complaints. I'm not sure I would order a steak again !
We were there with friends to celebrate a birthday. The service from Marty was impeccable, very attentive. The food was delicious. Everything was cooked to each person's preference. It was my first time at this location and I will definitely be back again very soon!
My partner and I went there this evening to celebrate our anniversary and we had a wonderful time. The food was delicious and our steaks were cooked perfectly to our liking. What stood out the most was the service. What was impressive was the team work amongst the waiters. As soon as we were seated we were greeted a waiter who said that our waitress was named Kelly and she would come to see us soon. Kelly was great! Attentive and answered all of our questions. When she was busy, her co-worker would step in and clear our plates or offer us more bread even if he had his own tables to attend to. You can see that they support each other when busy. Service like this makes a huge difference in the entire experience. At the end the gave us a free dessert to celebrate our anniversary which was very much appreciated. We will definitely go back again.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at 40 Westt Steakhouse in Montreal, and it was hands down the best restaurant experience I’ve ever had. From the moment we walked in, the stunning decor took our breath away—the ambiance is both elegant and welcoming. The food? Absolutely amazing. Every bite was bursting with flavor, and the presentation was impeccable. The drinks were equally outstanding, crafted with precision and care, making each sip a delight. What truly made the night unforgettable was the exceptional service. Our waiter, Michael, was not only incredibly helpful but also had a great sense of humor, making us laugh throughout the evening. He went above and beyond, even helping with our twins, which made the experience so much more enjoyable for us as a family. If you’re looking for an exceptional dining experience in Montreal, 40 Westt Steakhouse is the place to be. I can’t recommend it enough!
Always been one of my favourite and here again they continue to be the best when it comes to steak and sea food cold platters. What amaze me the most today is the waiter I was lucky to have, Sugeen, he is the first waiter in a real long long time that deserves tips. He was excellent, serve with passion and always smiling.
Recently visited this restaurant to celebrate our anniversary, and we were absolutely delighted! The food was exceptional — it’s been a long time since we’ve tasted something this delicious. The atmosphere is very cozy and quiet, perfect for a special occasion. I also want to highlight the service — attentive and discreet. We loved everything and will definitely come back. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great food and a pleasant atmosphere!”

Friendly staff and amazing service. We just wanted to go for drinks and they had Happy Monday special. Price was good. Music was nice and not to loud. The washroom was clean. Plenty of parking spots available. We will be coming back for sure.
Great experience at this location. The classic burger with cheddar cheese was perfect. The tater tots great. The macaroni and cheese is creamy and good. We did not love the French fries. The cherry coke is good. Free refills. Excellent service from Steve. Nice atmosphere. Plenty of parking.
I arrived around 10 on a Saturday night. At first I was going to do take out, but decided to stay. Let me tell you why I regret coming this the restaurant ordering the Biblical Brie. Well, I never thought dates on a burger would be tasty, but I was intrigued. I don’t even eat dates! However the combination prepared for this sandwich was amazing. Too good!!! I’m now back in the U.S. like, why did I do this to myself. I just can’t get any burger, and CT isn’t even offering one with Brie cheese!!! In fact, I’m going to have to plan my Canada trips around this eatery; just one of 2 that left a real positive effect on my taste buds. Service was quick, the fries, steak fries, were piping hot. This restaurant was randomly picked via Google search of burgers near me. You definitely did not disappoint.!!

First time eating here. How do my toasts look to you? Even the waiter was embarrassed and said he knew they were bad. Why would the kitchen dare to send out that plate? The waiter was nice and said he would replace my plate but I never send plates back for fear of reprisals….:-) but this one was obviously not fit to be served. The eggs were good but obviously the toast was horrible. The bacon was very fatty and undercooked (but some folks must like it that way). The sausage and ham is your regular run of the mill sausage and ham from all greasy breakfast places. 22$ for that plate was underwhelming. Not a good first impression unfortunately, but I always give restaurants a second chance so I will go back and update on my second experience.
I had the flat steak with mashed potatoes, paired with a glass of wine, and started off with a soup. Everything was delicious!
I was there with last night with my husband. The food was really terrible. My soup was totally tasteless. My meal was cold. Gave it back. Got it later. My husband was almost finished his meal. For the price. I don't think I'll go back

Celebrated here with a large group of people. The service was amazing! Our waiter did a great job handling such a large group. Coming from Ontario, I was pleasantly surprised by the BYOB option, and they provided us with an extra table so we could have our own sweets table. Reason for the four stars is because of the food. The scaloppine dish was not enjoyable. Hardly any taste to the meat and the noodles were plain. I do not recommend that dish.
Although the food was quite good, the portions are relatively small for the prices they charge. Service was awful. Had to ask multiple times before a waiter even came to see our table. Was told no modifications or additions could be made to a dish because they were so busy...but the restaurant was half empty. Will not be returning.
Bring your own wine is nice, but does not make up for the mediocrity of the food and service. The decor and ambiance were nice, but our waitress was abrupt (potentially due to short staffing) and the food was not particularly appetizing. My take is that they are trying to do WAY too much on their menu and should instead focus on doing a few things really well. I had the tortellini rosée which on its own was okay, but the Parmesan they served was the real cheap powdery stuff (like not even Kraft Parmesan level) that has fillers and is weirdly sugary. Made an okay dish awful. Their less than four star rating says it all. Would recommend avoiding.

Absolutely delicious !!!! Was looking for a fried chicken resto that wasn’t a mega fast food chain and honestly I was very pleasantly surprised. The chicken is so tender and juicy and breading is amazing. (I ordered delivery the next day as well because of how much I loved it. The decor of the place is modern and airy. They have a private room with glass walls for events. There’s a terrace outside as well. The service was excellent! The waiter was very kind and professional. All in all, would recommend 100%!
I stopped by with friends for a quick bite and we were all pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. For a fast food spot, it’s definitely a step up from McDonald's. The service was excellent, and the restaurant was clean. Prices are typical for fast food, but the quality makes it a great option.
Came here after hearing about it. Service was friendly but cashier wasn’t sure of many things. Mondays is $2 per chicken strip. Had the trio with fries and drink. Fries were homemade but a little soggy. Chicken strips were excellent. Super light batter and juicy chicken but could use a bit more spices in the batter IMHO. What I found disappointing is the lack of gravy. Found it ridiculous to charge $2 for their sauces which come in a tiny plastic container. For 8 strips, I would have needed at least 3!!! If they make these changes like crispier fries and better sauce options at reasonable prices and spicing up the batter, they will have a winner.

A wonderful restaurant that virtually transports me to France. Wonderful old interior with a separate bar and a spacious terrace. Amazing music and delicious European cuisine. I have never eaten more delicious onion soup in my life, I also want to note the oysters are always amazing here. I recommend this restaurant to everyone, I am sure that you will enjoy it.
Charming location in Pointe-Claire village. The service was on point! The restaurant is small yet cozy. The drinks were good, the food was delicious. Very flavorful and cooked perfectly. The portion size was ample. A must try restaurant!
Excellent experience. The food was very flavorful and well timed between entrées and the main courses. The duck was amazing as was the filet mignon and both were cooked to perfection. Our server Catherine was top notch. Bravo!
