Best Restaurants Open for Newyears Eve this year in Pemberton – 2024

Recently, we had a great experience here after my girlfriend and I hiked down from Joffre Lake campground. We hadn't eaten in hours and chose this restaurant because it seemed like it had more local vibes to it. We weren't disappointed at all and our waiter also had great customer service skills

Top notch service, big portions, and delicious to boot. Great spot!

We loved our experience eating here. We had friendly and attentive service and the view from the patio was unbeatable. We also really enjoyed the funky refurbished doors that decorate the kitchen outdoor space. My pesto fried chicken burger was hands down the best fried chicken burger I’ve ever eaten and the fries were crisp and perfectly salted. Thankfully, my partner got a meal that wasn’t served with fries because there were more than enough to share. He had the short ribs and they were so tender and the mashed potatoes were excellent. I will say, the calamari was not worth the $19 we paid for it, so skip that. But, everything else was so good I didn’t deduct any points.

NYC Pepperoni pizza was really good. Crispy on the edges and good flavour. Would definitely get again

We had 2 phenomenal pizzas, and to make it even better the service was friendly and inviting (even for just takeout). There was no skimping on cheese or any other toppings, and the high quality of ingredients was impressive! Looking forward to coming back to Pemberton to try more, and definitely wishing this place was closer to home!

Really, really good food. The omakase sushi is highly recommended; I was amazed at the quality of the fish, the selection, and the really reasonable prices for what you get. It's authentic and the presentation, too, is fantastic. Kind service despite it being crowded also. Would recommend a reservation in the evenings as it gets packed pretty quickly. Edit: came back 4/5/23 -- it's still just as delicious! Wonderful omakase.

It’s nice for being the only sushi restaurant in Pemberton! The lack of competition results in higher prices!! It’s a very nice place though, I’ve been going for years (mango roll is my favourite!)

Tiny Japanese-owned sushi restaurant in Pemberton. You think it wouldnt be that good here in a small town, but the quality of their sushi is surprisingly good with a reasonable price. I felt like it was better than most places in Vancouver. The only caviat is, that they only have 2 tables that fit 4 each, and the rest are take-out orders, so you would be lucky to find a table during busy times. Stromgly recommended!

First time in Pemberton and I decided to try this local joint. Mark welcomed all the guests that walked through the door. Very friendly and showed a genuine interest to make friendly chat. Ordered the “Friday special” even though it’s a Monday which consisted of a clubhouse sandwich and fries. Both were delicious. They don’t salt their fries (which is a good thing) so you should season your fries to taste. I would return here for another quick lunch as the food and service had were tasty with a small town good feeling to it

Absolutely amazing service. Mark was an absolute delight, as was his wife and everyone working there. The atmosphere was very welcoming and homey. I enjoyed looking at this amazing photo while eating the food. Speaking of the food was to die for. At first glance, it looks like any other chicken strip with French fries. But the taste feels authentic, homey, and made extremely fresh. I will definitely be coming back to grimms

This the nicest place I have been to so far in Canada after two weeks. I stumbled in during a short break on a long bike ride and I was welcomed warmly by the owner, who kindly directed me around. The food was great, and they have this great model train running in the store. It was also the first place in Canada that did not ask for a tip on the card-machine. Unfortunately, I did not have cash on me, because they are so reasonably priced that I would have tipped 20%.

If you need caffeine as you pass through Pemberton, this is the place. Delicious mocha and pastries. The croissant came right out of the oven and was the absolute best. Friendly service as well!

My dad and a I came across this amazing food truck after doing the hike at Joffre! It’s a gem. I had the fish burger- hands down the most delicious fish burger I’ve ever ate. The fish was so warm, the bun also warm and such a great flavor. The staff were so genuinely kind.

This cafe is a food trailer close to the highway 99 with good options for Burgers, coffee,tea etc. We ordered breakfast burger and fish burger combo that comes with a side of small portion of fries,both of which were great in terms of taste, quality, quantity and service. You can take a seat on the wooden picnic tables nearby , we went on a extremely hot day, so sitting by the highway and trying to enjoy our burgers was a little difficult, but great job for the food and service.

One last 'supply stop' before heading into the mountains. The beer was excellent, making the two days of isolation ahead even more enjoyable.

We showed up at this brewery after a long trip from okanagan. It was very nice! The beer was dangerously good. The girl at the counter was super happy and she gave a lot of tips for things to do in Whistler! I recommend this place at 100%!

There were variety of craft beers. I especially loved their patio area. You can enjoy the tasty beers while looking at the beautiful mountain. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I would like to come back here again to taste ones which were sold out that day.

The best pastries I’ve ever had! Would recommend checking this place out. The raspberry cheesecake danish was the highlight but I also got the sausage roll, ham and cheese croissant, bear paw croissant and plum danish which were also just as good. Nice outdoor seating area and the inside also is nicely decorated.

Very popular place and I can see why. Amazing selection of French style pastries and sourdough bread. Coffee was delicious and outside seating created a relaxed atmosphere. Definitely recommended

Great food, very filling and flavorful. Very friendly and helping service. You should definitely eat in or take out. We chose dine in. No regrets at all.

Ordered takeout on a friday. Can't find any website so used the menu shown in a photo on google review, but when calling that menu has apparently been updated. Makes it tricky to order takeout. Place was very small, busy, and chaotic inside so glad I did takeout and not dine in. Combo #3 - boneless pork was very good. Chop suey was alright. Chow mein was not so good. Quite large portion size.

Ordered takeout on a busy Saturday night, wait was longer than we were told but staff were super nice, apologetic and hustling with a huge stack of orders. The food was worth the wait! Great to have classic Canadian Chinese in town again, we will be back.

OK really happy meals are normally meant for kids so the staff couldn't even build the wrap properly I had to put it together myself the picture shows how I got it out of the box after eating the fries. And AGAIN happy meals are meant for kids where are the damn napkins! I shouldn't have to put my own food together and use my clothes as a napkin after doing so. And whoever has been on the phone for over 10 minutes needs to hang up already

I hate to leave bad reviews but, three times in the last 4 in store visits I have received cold food and have had to wait 10 minutes for a coffee. When I ask for fresh food to be made I received grief. I have had to ask for a refund in three of four visits only to jump into my car and receive perfect service if I use the drive through. I’m perplexed why they ever offer in store service when they are so adverse to it. If coffee is going to take 10 minutes why make the food right away.

Ordered food for mobile pick up to my vehicle and they didn't even acknowledge it. Had to go in the store after I realized they weren't gonna come out to drop off the food. Went in, manager didn't even care and gave me the bag of food that was sitting causing my food to be cold. I complained and they reluctantly made me another order, Which was nice i guess. So much for pre ordering and being quick.

I was having a problem falling asleep at night so a friend suggested using magnesium and I should go to Stay Wild Natural Health Food Store , I was treated very professionally, than I was helped with courtesy and understanding by the shopkeepers. I like to thank the people that help me and now I have a restful sleep every single night.

We are so super lucky to have such a quality health food store in town! I always find what I am looking for and the service is always excellent.

Mile One Eating House in Pemberton is an absolute gem! Our group of five visited for lunch, and we were blown away by the experience. The bill came to $140, which is incredible value for the quality and portion sizes. Hands down, they serve the best burgers ever! Each burger was perfectly cooked, juicy, and packed with flavor. The ingredients were fresh, and you can tell a lot of care goes into preparing every dish. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, ideal for a relaxed meal with friends or family. The service was fantastic – friendly, efficient, and attentive. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Mile One Eating House is a must-visit. Five stars all the way!

My MUST stop everytime I'm in Pemberton. I ALWAYS order the ahi Tuna sandwich and it's never once failed me. There's a few retail items here as well including breads, bacon & chorizo, convenient for those who are camping. Definitely worth a try if you haven't been here already.

Just stopped in for coffee but we also got a panini and a chicken Caesar wrap. Wrap was really tasty but the panini was unreal. Highly recommend for panini’s alone. Lemonade was good too. Cheers!

The danish and BLT sandwich blueberry muffin are awesome! Espresso brownie is perfect! Bagel is chewy! So does the decaf latte and cappuccino!

Such a cute place. Great ambience in a wonderful Canadian town of Pemberton. Met some clients , all friendly and the breads, croissants ( almond, chocolat, vanilla pastry) … wow. Must stop !!!

Great bakery! Amazing baked goods. Great espresso based drinks. Highly recommend a stop if you’re in Pemby. Parking out front is super easy. Will be back next time I’m passing by.

Stopped here on our way to Mount Currie for coffee. Got a flat white and a latte - really good espresso. Added a quad espresso to the flat white, it really woke me up hahahaha. It was a pleasant drink. Will definitely stop by on my next visit.

We had turkey cranberry panini and portobello panini and both tasted great. Nice, clean coffee shop. Food & drink more expensive than in Vancouver but it makes sense as groceries are more costly in Pemberton.

Best view from the patio out front! I was writing postcards but it felt like I was in a postcard too !! Tried the canadiano which was a latte with maple syrup that was pretty good! The art is top notch with some cool board designs as well. Staff was kind, friendly, and fun! Def checkout before you head into the mountains.
