Best Restaurants Open for Newyears Eve this year in Panama City Beach – 2024

Very cool restaurant! Our waiter was nice and friendly. The burger was fantastic!! We were seated right away and our food came pretty quickly. It is pricey though so that's the only downside. The burger in the picture was 20 bucks and the jambalaya was almost 24 bucks.

I recently dined at Margaritaville in Panama City Beach and was disappointed with my experience. While the atmosphere was fun and lively, the service was very poor. Our server was clearly overwhelmed and multitasking, which affected her ability to provide attentive service. Drinks where the biggest disappointment of the night. Unfortunately, the overall experience just didn’t match the prices. For what we paid, I expected better service and food quality. I hope they can improve in these areas, as the location has great potential.

Went here on a date night with my husband while we were on vacation. We have been to the Margaritaville at Myrtle Beach and to the one in Destin, FL. We were seated at a very small odd shaped table behind the bar that was crammed and barely fit us. The waitress took awhile to initially come to our table. She was nice and friendly. I had a steak, and my husband had jambalaya. The food was really good and flavorful. We both had margaritas mine was frozen strawberry, and my husband had one on the rocks. Mine wasn't really blended, and I had to stir my drink up myself. Other than that, the drinks tasted very good, and I got a souvenir cup shaped like a mini blender. I thought that was a cool little perk. They had a huge chair out front that said Margaritaville Panama City Beach, Florida for people to sit in to take pictures or whatever. We had to come back the next day to take pics due to it being so crowded and a long wait to do that. Overall, it was a good experience and I'm happy we came here while we were in town.

Absolutely wonderful everything! We originally were going to another place but after being told there was a 3.5 hour wait, we decided last minute to eat here. It was a wonderful choice. We had a hard time parking but eventually found a space. We were seated within 15-20 minutes at a small round table. Our server took our order after being seated for 15 minutes. We ordered the Parmesan and jalapeño oysters , gator bites as a dinner meal & a shrimp dinner meal. My husband and I are extremely picky about our oysters and honestly have only one place at home we eat at for oysters. This place definitely topped them with the size and flavor these oysters had. I feel like they were reasonably priced & my husband talks about these oysters almost every day. The gator bites were pretty good & they were decently sized. The shrimp was okay, I would still order it again but some of the shrimp were only half a shrimp (missing the top) and it obviously counted as a whole shrimp even though it was pretty much just a fried tail with a little bit of meat. The sauces were all delicious along with the hush puppies. We honestly have no complaints and felt we were satisfied & very welcomed into this establishment. We will definitely be back & we have already been telling friends and family to go to Dusty’s!

This place is a PCB legend, and for really good cause! The raw oysters for absolutely amazing! These are actually from Louisiana, they were really good medium sized oysters that were professionally shucked. Not a single bit of grit in any of them. My wife had the shrimp Po boy and it was one of the best she's ever had. The seafood is extremely fresh and it's prepared excellently. Service has been absolutely amazing and the atmosphere is like walking into one of those really old school oyster bars with all the money hanging from the ceiling and the walls. Heck! They could probably pay the mortgage of this place with the money they the collected over the years on the wall.

We got appetizers of mushrooms and hush puppies. Mushrooms were good but very greasy, some of the hush puppies were so hard they could not be eaten and were thrown away. The oyster stew was just ok, it had so much butter floating on top and the celery wasn't cooked. The scallop po boy was good and chicken strips good.

Carly, our server was awesome. She made our first experience here great. Even though the restaurant was closing in 45 minutes when we arrived. They didn't rush us, which was nice. The food was good. And plentiful. Should have eaten half and brought home the rest, lol. Loved the atmosphere of the place. And the drinks were good too. Got to bring home souvenir when you order a drink. If we are ever in the area again, we will come back.

Cool little place to visit for dinner, unless you are seated outside. Really wish they would decorate that area a bit. There is literally nothing there to make you feel the experience you would get on the inside. Food was good and prompt. Server was great. Price was fair.

We came at a good time and there was no wait. If you wait past 4 or so, it's a super long wait. The food is great, the hostess was so friendly, and they have 2 bikes your kids can take a pic on.

This place was so good!! It was our first time!! Atmosphere was cool!! Wedding was happening as we got there that was cool! It was right next to our resort so it was convenient! Everything we had was so good but the oysters were a little blah, the Rockefeller oysters were a little too creamy for me. But overall very very good!!

We were seated outside in a corner table just before sunset. Perfect view. The waiter was helpful and friendly. He offered suggestions on the menu and other area restaurants to try. The red snapper with potatoes was good and the grilled shrimp was excellent. Ordered the key lime pie. Lots of restaurants seem to be serving this in PCB. It was good, but does not taste like it is made with Key Limes.

We began with fried pickles, which were enjoyable, but the main course left much to be desired. I ordered the Jerked Maui, which was tough and lacked flavor, while my friend’s chicken dish suffered the same issues—dry and bland. Hoping to end on a high note, we tried the dream pie, and thankfully, it was the highlight of the meal—absolutely delicious. Our server, Sasha, was fantastic, and the atmosphere and view were outstanding. However, a note to management: the food quality needs attention, as something seemed off.

This is the one restaurant I make sure I eat it whenever I’m in Panama City. The food is delicious. Absolutely my favorite prime rib. The risotto is fantastic. I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad meal here. And they have a huge saltwater aquarium, so it’s nice to watch the fish while you enjoy a meal.

We ate here three times during our two week stay in PCB. We especially enjoyed visiting with the manager, Fred. He makes us feel welcome, appreciated & more like friends than just diners passing through. Staff is professional, very friendly & outgoing. Steaks are prime & continuously perfectly prepared. House salad was fresh & plentiful. Lobster ravioli was a nice change of pace for surf ‘n turf. Grouper appetizer as well as the entree were great. Lobster bisque was creamy with chunks of lobster in every spoonful. Specialty drinks were very good. Taking top notice in our total dining experience was the key lime ‍ pie …… BEST KEY LIME PIE ANYWHERE!! Made in-house with a fun presentation in whipped cream & fresh fruit. Taste is the perfect combination of sweet, smooth & tart with a great crust. Atmosphere is inviting & everything was very clean. Saltwater Grill is my number one pick of places to dine in PCB.

This restaurant was absolutely wonderful! I decided to go here for my birthday while visiting PCB. The atmosphere was amazing. When you walk in there is a huge fish tank in the front (which I hate I didn’t get a picture of). The setup is nice and our server Erin was very friendly and attentive. Our appetizers came out within minutes of ordering but it took our dinner a bit longer. The restaurant was slam packed though. When we finally did get our food it was delicious. I was able to order lobster tails which wasn’t on the menu but they do offer it. They also brought out a cute plate for my birthday with a chocolate covered strawberry and a candle perfect way to finish a delicious meal. I will return the next time I’m in the area.

Visited on Thanksgiving. Took us right in at our reservation time. Nice atmosphere, great service ☺️. Me and wife had the turkey, son had a ribeye. All perfectly done. Wife ordered the oysters and loved them!

Went for Sunday brunch and was pleasantly surprised at how fresh the food was. I got the Prime Rib and my spouse got the Grouper and both were excellent! Went back a few nights for dinner and got shrimp pesto pasta dish and this was yummy!

The triple tail was good. But a little over cooked. The shrimp creamy pesto pasta was yummy. The hamburger was good. Got a free dessert creme burlee, which was yummy. The server was great. Very informative about certain items on the menu! Visiting in the area. Throughly enjoyed this place

We were staying close and wanted to try it out. We were convinced to sit outside, turned out to be a good choice since the view of the water and sunset was amazing. The service was a little slow. The service over all was OKAY. The food was Better than OKAY. There were four of us. We ordered the fish tacos, seafood pasta, grilled chicken salad and the fried fish special. The fries were even great!! We took key lime tower to go. It was more creamy than tangy. Still okay.

We had some great views of the ocean from our seats. The service was excellent, and the food was pretty good. If you are looking for a good place with great views on the beach, check out this place. We had the Fish Tacos and the Monster burger.

The food was really good. Our server wasn't that great. I had to ask for napkins & silverware as he never brought us any. Then, upon checkout, we charged for another tables food and drinks, which was a good bit more than our total was. The server did correct it, though. We ordered the seafood bucket. Everything in it was really good. It was plenty for my and myself to share.

We enjoyed a nice relaxing dinner at Senor Frog's! Our Server Paige was great and attentive! We started with the pretzel bites and they were so fresh, soft and hot! Very good! My husband had the shrimp tacos which he said were delicious and I had the chicken fajitas, though the tortillas came out hot after opening the foil pack they got very hard quickly but I really enjoyed eating the chicken, peppers and onions without them! The guacamole, beans and rice were also very yummy! We walked away with happy tummies and a souvenir Senor Frog's Halloween cup!

This is a must go to when you’re out in Panama City beach, great food, music, drinks and water front views! Service was great! Our waiter John was great attention to detail was on point, friendly and made the experience great! I would recommend this spot to anyone!! Come down and check it out!!

The food was absolutely delicious, everything we ordered came out quickly and was hot and fantastic. we went around 1 pm and it wasn’t over crowded. Our server was amazing. She went out of her way to make my birthday extremely special.

This has been our favorite place to eat in Panama City Beach so far. Amazing food! Excellent service. Romantic but casual atmosphere. The She Crab soup was amazing- I almost did t order it because I’ve had so much crab on this trip- but I’m so glad I did- it was delicious! The sushi quality was top notch as well- and being from Hawaii- that says a lot! The Salmon was cooked to perfection and was so buttery!

This was our first time coming to Firefly after hearing many recommendations to check it out! We were very impressed with the food, service, and atmosphere. It is a fine dining experience with beautiful scenery. The staff was incredibly attentive, professional, and friendly. Chet was our server tonight and we’d absolutely recommend requesting him! He certainly made our night! For the food, our table ordered various items: sushi, she crab soup, Caesar salad with grilled chicken, the roasted chicken, and the crème brûlée. We were all very impressed with our food items. I can personally say that this is the best food I’ve ever eaten in my life! The quality, flavors, presentation - this meal had it all. I’d absolutely recommend this place. We’d come back to PCB just to come here again!

Service was excellent ,clean, safe location .food was very good, first the shushi is different than we ever had the fish was pilled on top of roll loved that only negative was rolls fell apart when picking up with chop sticks pretty much had to eat with fork.calamari was excellent. Grouper was good, supposed to been fresh, not so sure it was .the bread and spreads was good although it was brought out late all in all everything was good but prices here are to expensive in my opinion . Really love steak did not try here bone in ribeye was 62 bucks. No way .

Excellent food, Excellent service. This is a wonderful place to relax and eat. Great location on the beach. Nice beachy, tropical atmosphere with the outside seating. It is basically a very large tiki hut. It is an extremely busy place, but the service is fast. Highly recommend.

The main attraction at sharkys is its location. You just can't miss the beachfront view. Having your meal looking at the sea and its beauty. Food is ok, nothing to rave about. Good, but nothing special. The must try is their key lime pie.

Ordered the blackened redfish and it was well prepared. Flaky with a good sauce served over mashed potatoes. The Key West garlic shrimp was excellent. Served in a very hot dish so let it cool. The sauce made the dish. Very rich but worth every calorie.

Located in Pier park, the inside restaurant is medium to large sized and laid back. Tables are pull out chairs and you have an option to sit out front. Our server was friendly and the food was amazing! The flavors were savory and delicious. We got the dozen and half oysters, shrimp & scallops, panko shrimp pasta, fried captain’s platter, and blackened chicken linguine. I highly recommend ordering any of those plates and you’ll be satisfied. The captain’s platter is huge and all fried. It’s got a great variety of seafood such as oysters, scallop, crab cake, shrimp, fish and any 2 sides. The oysters were fresh and delicious as well. Their bushwhacker is very good. The limbo lemonade was tasty but you can’t taste the alcohol.

Great server and a comfortable place with a good gluten free menu. The hot mess on the plate should have been my warning - my grouper was cooked into a block of leather that I should have sent back, but the twice baked potato was huge and made me happy. I can't say the food was worth it. The drinks though - they were delicious!

Great food at a great price if you go during happy hour (2-5pm)!!! We went at 4pm on Tuesday night and were seated immediately. Overall we ordered fried pickles, firecracker shrimp, a Cobb salad, and a bowl of gumbo. We also had three rum punches and a custom drink from the bar. Due to the happy hour special, the tab was only $77, plus a generous tip for the great wait and bar staff. The portions were very generous and the food was delicious! The firecracker shrimp was my favorite, probably came with 50 fried shrimp in a lovely tangy sauce for $8 on special, what a deal! Definitely plan to come again next time we are in PCB!

Boondocks has been on my list for a couple of years, but it's kinda in the, well, boondocks. The stars finally aligned and I found my way there. It seems I've made a terrible mistake and wasted a couple of years of terrific meals in a quaint environment. It's refreshingly down to earth for an area that continues to upscale everything in sight. And it's definitely worth the trip. Portions are fairly generous, the food is delicious and the staff is excellent. I know most folks opt for the fried side of the menu, but I'm quite partial to their spice blend on the grilled side.

Service and food was amazing! I loved the 1/2 and 1/2. I got fried fish and grilled shrimp. My daughters food was delicious as well.

Amazing place nestled outside the craziness of the PCB beach strip. My wife and I love this restaurant and eat here at least once every time we come down. There is a little area that serves drinks while you wait but it is cash only. There is an atm machine if you forget or don’t have cash on you. I had the grilled shrimp and Tile fish which are amazing! The wife had the grilled scallops which are also very good. The bacon wrapped shrimp is our go to appetizer. Service was great! Staff was on top of things which made the wait go fast. I highly recommend this location.
