Best Restaurants Open for Newyears Eve this year in Orange Beach – 2024

Yes, this place is great. The food is absolutely excellent. Tip: order an appetizer to share, since it might take a bit until you get the main course. Well there is a reason for it - they make it fresh and perfect. A bit pricey of course. And a bit noisy, this is why I take one star off. But the view is great. The service is ok. They run a perfectly well oiled organization. The service we got was friendly and efficient. Maybe what was missing was a bit more customer interaction besides just taking the order and serving the food.

The view is outstanding, the food was beautiful and delicious. The staff was friendly and nice. Multiple choices for orange juice. Eggs were big light and fluffy, grits were delightfully perfect! The beach body was perfect for my daughter, she loved it!

Lexi G. Was our server and she was so wonderful ! She was so attentive and sweet. We came and had the brunch menu. The environment is super cute also! Very clean, with beautiful views! We ordered quite a few different dishes. We started with the pimento cheese and oysters which were both so delicious. Three of us had the turkey club (highly suggest!). One of us had the fish sandwich (she highly suggested). Definitely will come back to try the lunch/ dinner menu!

Very nice place. The views are outstanding. The Crab and Shrimp Dip was amazing. The shrimp and grits were good. We had the lunch shrimp and grits not the brunch shrimp and grits. The drinks were so delicious. I think I will try a burger next time because the one that came to the table next to us was huge and they seemed to enjoy it alot. The staff were fantastic. We will definitely be back.

EXCELLENT food. Wonderful live music. Beautiful scenery. I gave food 4stars due to the bartender. My drink was great however when she created my two friends’ sangria, she used her bare hand and picked up the fruit. This may not had been so bad if she hadn’t just used machinery to create my drink AND took payment for another customer. I understand the area is busy and to me it means it’s even more reason for better safe practices! Overall my friends and I will eat here again. The weather made for a perfect outdoor seating table.

Such an enjoyable experience. We loved the crab and shrimp dip. Our waiter Chad was very attentive. We loved the cajun chicken pasta and surf and surf. We will definitely eat here again.

Visited GTs late on a Wednesday night. Four grandparents and one 2 year old grandchild. Interesting place with the aquarium in the middle of the restaurant. I ordered the fried fish sandwich which Cobia was the catch of the day. The sandwich was loaded with fish which was prepared pretty well. I also had a side of sweet potato waffle fries. My wife had shrimp cocktail and grits. We had the GTs Dip for an appetizer. There’s a large outside eating area with live music. Staff were welcoming but the restaurant was packed so they were very busy. A playground was available for our toddler which was very convenient during our short wait to be seated.

We dined at Gts On the Bay tonight, and it was excellent. Cogery took very good care of us during the evening. I had a cup of gumbo to start with. It had very good color and tasted very good. I do prefer a gumbo that has bigger pieces of fish, sausage, etc. My wife had the shrimp and grits. She found it to be different as the shrimp was in a sauce with grit cakes instead of being served on grits.. The grit cakes were nicely seasoned, and the shrimp were very good. I had the fried shrimp, which came with fries and coleslaw. The shrimp were very large gulf shrimp and were fried in a light breading. They were delicious. The fries were also very good. I did think that the coleslaw could have been moister with more flavor. The serving sizes are all large as we both took back leftovers. We will definitely return for another meal.

It was a very big place! Indoor and outdoor seating. Our waitress was nice! I had the endless salad and was very good. We had Totchos for an appetizer and it was pretty good! I’m pretty picky with my pulled pork but it was pretty good! My boyfriend built his own pizza! Overall good experience and clean!

Beautiful restaurant with a marine charm and amazing cuisine. All courses and drinks were made in high level. Fish and oysters were very fresh and everything was made from scratch. Maroccan Whole Fish is just the best fish that I have tried! You just can’t beat this whole fish! So fresh and cooked very well. Mashed potatoes were just a perfect addition to it. Morgan D. was our waitress, she was very helpful and sweet. She knows the menu very well and was just very professional with her job. Morgan was checking on us to make sure everything is good. We appreciate her help and advices with the food and just generally what to do around here, since we are not local. It was incredible experience, highly recommend!

we took a vacation for my aunts wedding and on our last day of vacation, we went to this restaurant as it was recommended to us by a family member. when I got here I took many pictures on the dock because of the beautiful sky and lovely atmosphere. You couldn’t not like sitting outside and normally I don’t like sitting outside of restaurants. the food was really good. They take your order seriously and always take care of any mistakes. The manager is sweet, and our server Colby was one of the nicest servers I had this whole trip. I rate this place a five out of five and if you ever visit Alabama or Pensacola, please come to this restaurant. It is worth it.

Ronna was a wonderful waitress, very good hearted and kind. She answered all our questions and requests with knowledge and understanding. She definitely made the experience better; by making frequent but not excessive stops at our table. Even when it got busier. She brought out our food and drinks with speed. Ronna is really good at what she does, and such a sweetheart.

Good food, pretty expensive, small portions. Got 2 of the lobster and shrimp rolls with fries… $26 each. Got the grilled fresh catch flounder salad. Small piece of fish and not very exciting salad View is beautiful All outdoor Bathrooms are like a fancy port a John, but in a container as well… it was clean and air conditioned

Food was delicious! Atmosphere very relaxed and family friendly. Staff friendly except the man who took our order. You order your food from one window and someone brings it to you. That’s the extent of service, so tip accordingly. Have to get your adult beverages from a separate bar. BF ordered the crab legs, but was only given the crab cracker and no other tools (crab fork and knife pick) making it very difficult to get the meat out. Bring your own tools if you plan to have the crab! I had the shrimp and lobster roll which was really good but wish there was more lobster on it. We shared the smoked tuna dip which was amazing. Giving 4 stars due to the lack of proper utensils for the crab. Paying $65 for 2lbs…we want to enjoy it without so much hassle. Would return!

Look, guys- this is the place you want to come to when you come to the beach. We arrived at about 6:30, and were immediately greeted by Jared, who welcomed us to The Gulf, and made sure we knew how it all worked. He provided some drink recommendations and talked to us. No pressure, super easy, very genuine and authentic. The drinks he made us looked great and tasted great (I was personally appreciative that they had an NA beer option). Kelly helped us with our food order when Jared had to step away, told us about the Tuna Dip, and got us all squared away. Again, just a kind, nice person, who also knows who the band “Hanson” is. These two worked in perfect step, that we never felt like we were waiting, or unattended. The vibes are immaculate, the music is good, the food is phenomenal, and everyone at the gulf is so nice. You should eat here, drink here, hang out here. Thanks again to Jared and Kelly for making sure we had a great time, and for being just generally the coolest people in town, stoked to meet you both.

Deomi was the best! My dad is naturally mean so she just matched his energy the hats were the best part would definitely recommend asking for deomi!

We have been to the one in Vegas at the Excalibur. Decided to stop by and have lunch. We came for lunch when they were not busy. Service was awesome. Thanks, Kas and Ray. Absolutely loved this place. LOVED our waitress Haley (sry if i spelt wrong) and this was 100% a time to remember on our vacation from Louisiana!! We will be back next time we in town!! Crab was phenomenal & so was my bfs pork sandwich!! Loved the drinks & atmosphere as well!! If you cant handle it, dont come, easy as that. I very much enjoyed the mean sarcasm!! ❤️
