Best Restaurants Open for Newyears Eve this year in Oklahoma City – 2024

What an amazing find, we have driven by this place multiple times with intentions to go in and I am so sorry that we have not done it before now. Mallory our server was amazing, The service, the food and the atmosphere were over the top. But the drink selections were the perfect charm for this location. The fried green tomato’s are on point! One of the best old fashions I’ve had in Oklahoma City. My wife thoroughly love the espresso martinis as well. If you have not stopped by or tried this place, you are missing out!! This is going to be one of our favorite go to from now on.

Whiskey Cake Kitchen and Bar, certainly lives up to its reputation, especially for whisky enthusiasts. The restaurant boasts an excellent whisky selection that impresses both novices and connoisseurs alike. The food here is equally commendable. Each dish we tried was well-prepared and flavorful, with the signature "whisky cake" standing out as an absolute must-have. It’s the perfect blend of moist, rich, and indulgent, making it a delightful end to the meal. The service was another highlight of our visit. The staff were attentive and professional, ensuring we had a pleasant dining experience without making us feel rushed. This level of service added to the overall enjoyment of the evening. However, one aspect that detracted from the experience was the modern atmosphere. The concrete floors, brick walls, and hard furniture contribute to a stylish, contemporary look, but unfortunately, they also make the restaurant quite loud. This acoustics issue can make conversations difficult, especially during peak hours. In summary, Whisky Cake is a fantastic spot for enjoying top-notch food and a remarkable whisky selection, backed by excellent service. Just be prepared for a bit of noise if you visit during busy times.

The food looked amazing. I ordered the 3 little pig pork sliders appetizer and it tasted great and was enough for me to be full to a decent extent. It was a little messy while eating so I scooped up what fell with my fork. I ordered the drink combination Afterglow. It wasn’t half bad for me being a mostly nonalcoholic drinker. Didn’t look too bad either(like I said, I’m not necessarily a wine connoisseur). The service was fantastic! Greg was a very awesome, respectful, and personable waiter. I wanted a filling appetizer and was able to help me choose the 3 little pig pork sliders appetizer like which had a crispy but soft bun and coleslaw which I’m not a fan of, but it worked out really great on this appetizer with their unique onions. He also helped me choose a drink according to my taste because my tongue is underdeveloped for alcoholic beverages. The atmosphere was very nice, relaxing, and quiet. Could be a good time for friends. Although I am in my late twenties, it is more of a natural dine in pleasurable experience for people and friends in their 30s and 40s. Although I enjoyed my visit there, I would probably not return due to pricing, but it could be nice to try out. Great experience!

Lunch buffet is hands down a great deal. The food is pretty good for a buffet, the meat was dry at times, but you don't really come here for a lunch buffet expecting gourmet food. You come here for the view, which was AMAZING. It's great to be able to get a very high view of the entire city and see areas where we visited. For the price per person, it's like a museum entry with food included so I recommend it. The entire restaurant was very clean and well kept.

Little Flip Out worked hard and earned a reward on something, so to celebrate his hard work, he wanted to go to Vast. We went for lunch and had their daily lunch table, which is always delicious and fun to see their new options. Little Flip Out enjoyed the whole experience: choosing different foods, watching out the windows at the world below, and having a more formal dining experience. The daily lunch table always has a wonderful selection of meats, sides, and desserts. Seasonal vegetables and dishes are a regular feature and always wonderful. With the spectacular views, delicious menu, and excellent service, a visit to Vast is always memorable.

Was a guest for a private dinner and lets just say that it was one of the most elegant nights in recent memory. The food was creative, tasty and well executed. The wine is curated beautifully and haven’t had 6/6 delicious pairings in a good while. My favorite part of the evening was the excellent service we received. You couldn’t want or need for nothing! Everything magically would appear and disappear in the most efficient manner. Special shout out to the most attentive and immersed GM we’ve seen in action.

So, my husband and I went here for the first time recently and i must say, I definitely enjoyed my time here! We ordered 3 whole meals cause we couldn’t decide so obviously just taste all of it! Definitely a tad pricey but overall so delicious! I wasn’t the biggest fan of the steak frites but everything else was SO GOOD! My personal favorite being the Nashville hot chicken, while my husband loved the J burger! I say check it out!

This was my first time visiting this establishment and before then, I never heard of the place. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here having brunch with a friend. The food was delicious and the waitress was nice. Although, I will say, she seemed a bit timid and nervous. I do not know if it was because she was new or IF because I was asking quite a few questions as it was my first time here. There were a few items that I requested off the menu, that they did not have . That was definitely a let down for me. I wanted to order the Jones Iced Coffee, but they were out of hazelnut syrup and the nitro cold brew . Then I tried to ask if I could have a Regular Shmegular iced coffee that did not need the nitro cold brew, but the waitress seemed lost by this request. Then I settled for the cappuccino with French vanilla syrup, and oh my, it was nasty...Hence why I'm rating it an overall 4...The lobster bisque had no lobster in it and it tasted like tomato soup. The Winter Greens Salad was okay, the nuts did not have a taste of "spice" pine nuts. My friend ordered the "Savory Ricotta Hot Cake" which she loved. The bacon jar was delicious as well. Next go around, I will bring my family and try some breakfast items and hopefully have better luck next time. Hopefully the coffee items will be working properly and available.

In visiting OKC I had the pleasure of dining at this vast restaurant and much like the building the portion size is huge and unique. Wonderful and splendid atmosphere; would've preferred to dine here on a weekend as music acts typically play here. Delicious food fare with several options that are reasonably priced.

Sweetie and I had a pleasant lunch, Let's begin with first impressions. We were greeted kindly by hostess and promptly seated by our waitress who was very kind. Our seating was simple,nice and clean. The general vibe was relaxed, The estetic and layout was more casual then one would think based on the exterior however it works. The food was comforting and rich in flavor,great wine selection. The fresh warm bread with garlic infused olive oil they bring table side was great. We plan to return to try more dishes.

We popped in on a whim on the way through OKC. Everything looked pretty good but it was kinda meh this go around. I got caprese salad and added salmon. Salmon wasn’t great but I mean we are in OK. The short rib pasta dish was really yummy. Pizza was ok. Worth checking out for sure, just not my personal fav. The meatballs were a little dry but the ricotta was yummy.

Great place for a date night. Not overly crowded or noisy. The food and drinks were good. I had the porkchop it was huge and very good. My friend had the lasagna, but was quite disappointed. Turns out their lasagna is deconstructed. Much prefer lasagna to be in layers. Other than that, it was a good evening out.

We had a great experience at Redrock on Lake Hefner! Our servers were always on point, helping us with our indecisiveness and giving good tips what to order. My friend had the salad and said it was exceptional! My roasted chicken with the best mashed potatoes & grilled zucchini, delicious!! I'd order it again! The chicken had so much flavor along with the potatoes I could've just kept eating even after I was full. We were already stuffed but had to try the Homemade Key lime Pie. Mm! So good! The creaminess of the pie and that crust was superb! We definitely walked away so full and thankful we chose to eat there! We will definitely return! It's a lovely experience especially while facing the water and watching all the wind surfers and sail boats.

My first time there, it was FANTASTIC! The food was AMAZING, the Atmosphere was Stunning and the service was EXCELLENT. The only negative was that we were celebrating my daughter Cindy's Birthday, so I thought that she would possibly get a free dessert. She didn't so it was a bit disappointing. All in all, it was an enjoyable time. So Thank you all.

What a perfect dining experience! So impressed all around. The service was excellent. They were attentive, quick and even anticipated our needs. The food was seriously amazing! I thought it looked good on the menu...but it was beyond our expectations. We started with an appointment, the stuffed poblano. It was very fresh and was even better than anticipated. We split between the three of us, but you could easily share with 4 or 5bpeople for a taste. Our son ordered pork chops and it was absolutely amazing, that would be the top recommendation. I ordered the chicken, it was well flavored, juicy, seriously perfectly cooked! I also got a house salad...and let me tell you WOW! The house dressing is a new fav of mine! ( Order the salad!!) It was big & I shared it with my husband. My husband got the ribeye steak and it was cooked exactly as ordered and the meat was premium quality and delicious. The sides: asparagus was fresh and cooked well, the potatoes were good and I loved the carrots! We had a beautiful view of the lighthouse, after we took a short walk to see it up close. Really enjoyed the entire experience. Fantastic job!

Service was great. Our server explained options and feature meals. Environment was relaxing and upscale. Food was beautifully cooked and presentation was modern and appealing. Each dish was packed with flavor. Red does great traditional steak. They also have a great option that your steak can come with a crust and sauce which is great for someone who likes a little flair with their steak. Great experience overall.

If you want a night out at a high-end steakhouse where the food matches the prices, then this is the place for you!! The service is top notch, the portions are huge, and you can taste the quality of ingredients! Morgan waited on me, and she couldn't have been better. So nice, new the menu, and if I had questions she didn't know the answer to, she found out for me!! Appetizer: crab cakes So delicious - full of crab and light on filler. Everything a crab cake should be. And the mustard sauce served with them is so tangy and compliments perfectly. My only critique is it needs more, so I asked for extra haha Entree: bone-in ribeye Perfectly cooked, juicy, tender, and most of all, flavorful. Then, add the blue cheese crust and out comes perfection. The loaded mashed potatoes came out super hot and were a great compliment as they were creamy and so delicious. No complaints here. Dessert: chocolate spoon cake with homemade caramel. Such a great end to a phenomenal dinner. Rich, sweet, and fabulous. Be sure to give this place a try for a special occasion or if you just want to treat yourself, like I did ‍♂️

Still dreaming about this delicious dinner! The prix fixe menu was just what I needed to taste all the things & I enjoyed every. single. one. My steak was cooked perfectly and the sorbet I chose for dessert was the perfect way to end the meal. I’m obsessed with the red vibes of the restaurant. Our waitress was amazing and gave us some great recommendations. Definitely saving this place as a top steakhouse to revisit!

Look, just get the mushroom soup. Don't like mushrooms? Get the mushroom soup. It's that good. Been here a couple times and it's been great each time. The service is great, waitstaff is attentive and helpful with the menu questions Everything came out as ordered and really well done. If we lived in town we'd show up here more often for sure. It's all good, for real. If you're heading to the Paseo, check this place out.

Top food and romantic atmosphere! The choice of food is good, different options, but nothing crazy. Prices are ok, but portions have European size, so you might need to combine entre with appetizer or dessert. Very good cocktails with generous portion of alcohol. This is a perfect place for a date, or if you want to indulge yourself with delicious dinner after hard work.

The exterior and interior of the location were in good repair. There is some street parking and there is paid parking behind the location. We parked in a grass area next to the paid parking for free. The service was friendly and attentive. Our server, Abbey, was knowledgeable about the menu and made recommendations off the menu. The dinner service was smooth. FYI, You have to specify request bread service. The food was fresh and flavorful. The portion sizes were generous. We went to the location for a family members birthday and they gave each of us a little fruit and cream parfait, which was appreciated. I would return to the location and recommend it to others. Getting a reservation ahead of time is a must, at least on the weekend.

This is hands down my favorite restaurant in Oklahoma. The tasting menu is extraordinary, with each dish bringing new flavor combinations that leave you wanting more. The perfectly paired drinks (including carefully crafted non-alcoholic options) beautifully complement the tasting experience. The menu changes every few months, so each visit offers a new and consistently incredible experience. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and experts in their craft. They explain their creations in detail, present the food beautifully, and maintain a high level of professionalism. I can't express enough how much I love this restaurant. It's the best food I've ever had and an experience I'll never forget. I can't wait to go back! *These photos are from various previous experiences.

Caution: I grew up on spices and bold flavors. The first 3 courses (snacks, crudites, chawanmushi) were okay. They didn't have distinct flavors that I would expect from a tasting experience. The only memorable part were the sauces that came with the chawanmushi and crudites. The forth dish (Broccolini) finally made me a bit excited as I could taste a few flavors. The rest of the courses were pretty good. I think that if the chef describes what's in the dish then I should have hints of each flavor. Side note: it felt a little funny when the hostess would peak into my dishes rather than ask if I was done. Staff and chefs were great and took time to break down the dishes. Update: I thought over time that I would be to tell a story about a distinct dish and how it made me feel. Instead they all fade from memory. The food lack that oomph you want from a food tasting experience.

Had an amazing experience in the private dining room. Atmosphere, food, and staff made it feel like a high end spa experience (but for your pallet)! The food was not just delicious it was complex and well thought out. The kind of dishes you have to experience slowly and as you go you are able to understand more and more what you are tasting. My personal favorites of the evening were probably the waffle and the yellow gumdrop:)

We ate here before a concert and had a delightful meal. The servers were attentive and showed real teamwork. The beef carpaccio was delicious and I highly recommend the pecan pie with cinnamon ice cream. We sat in the bar area and despite it being a cigar smoking area the ventilation is so good we could barely smell it

Great steak house right in the center of brick town. The French onion soup was one of the best I’ve had. The peppered filet and the Roquefort filet were so tender you could cut them with the fork if you wanted. The blue cheese cream sauce of the Roquefort filet has a mild flavor that complemented the filet really well. The bacon jalapeño Mac & cheese was really creamy with a hint of jalapeño that wasn’t too spicy or too mild.

Every time I’m in OKC I have to stop by Mickey Mantles for a Black Forrest Manhattan and their Cheese Burger. I swear the burger is made with ground roast and choice cuts. Not just scrap trim made to hamburger. It is probably the single best hamburger I’ve ever had. It’s always a special treat to end the evening with a nice cigar and cup of coffee.

Great food and atmosphere. I love the long wooden bar (longest in Oklahoma). Samantha was amazing as our waitress. Food came out quickly and correctly. We are going back soon to try the brunch on Saturday or Sunday. Be sure to tell them Wade Carter recommended this place to you and ask for Samantha's table.

I was looking forward to eating. The atmosphere is very “western” and the theming is on point. Very cool! It took a long time for my hamburger to come out and it wasn’t very good. I know it’s just a burger, but I was expecting it to taste much better than it did. The server was friendly and took good care of us.

Best steakhouse in OKC hands down. I've been to cattlemens and trust me the steaks here are so much better the flavor and when you ask for med rare it's just that! Look at my pictures for proof. The wait staff here is awesome. You can't beat the atmosphere and it truly fits in being in the stockyards. Music fits the theme and everyone wears a smile.

The food was so good. My favorite things was the drinks. staff was so friendly and knowledgeable. They knew everything about the menu and was able to answer all of the questions that we had even made suggestions. Prices are on the higher side however you get a lot of food for your buck. The appetizers were incredible and you would enjoy the food if that was the only thing you got. The lighting is pretty dark, we did have to shine our flashlights a couple of times to see the menu. I do think you pay a lot for the atmosphere which was beautiful, but if that’s not what you’re looking for then this might not be the place for you. I do know I will definitely come back to try other things and enjoy their drinks! Thank you for helping us celebrate our friends birthday.

The atmosphere was wonderful and the food looked great. My chicken was a bit dry, but was flavorful. My issues came with the bill. I was originally charged for alcoholic beverages I didn't order or receive. Once that was fixed I noticed I was being overcharged for my meal. The description of my food was accurate, but the price had been inflated. My friend who had the same order as me was charged the correct amount. When I pointed out the discrepancy our server got annoyed, took the bill and walked away. It took another 7 minutes to get the new, correct bill... with a 25% gratuity built into the price. I paid and left.

Four of us for dinner. Our waiter Edmond stated that the family style offerings are very robust in size. We said we wanted to go for it and ordered the family style parilla a la Brasa. It comes with 3 side dishes and we chose the plantains, chimi Asparagus and jalapeño mac and cheese. They came first and the serving size is enormous, so we knew the maim platter was going to be something. When it came we were amazed at the amount of food, a whole chicken, tons of sausage, and steak on a generous bed of veggies cooked to perfection. Avocado also. The steak was very tender and delicious. We ended uo taking a good portion home. We also tried the Shishedo pepper appetizer and it is outstanding and again a very generous portion. The house treated us to dessert with stuffed churro that was very good. Our server was attentive and great. We sat on couches so we felt a little like royalty. Thumbs up

My husband and I met with some friends here for dinner during the week. The restaurant is nice and loved the view of the lake. The service was okay, nothing special or above and beyond. The food was good. I got the porkchop and it was good and one of our party got the bowl of gumbo and said it was okay, the other two got sandwiches and said that they were okay as well. The price may be a little high for the quality and quantity that you get. The experience was good, but nothing great or fantastic. It was just average run of the mill experience. Not sure if we will be back or not, but I would not recommend against this place it was just not a stand out place.

This was my first time eating at this establishment for lunch. The appetizers were delicious, the mocktail berry drink I had was awesome, and my lunch was the crowning touch. Also great customer service ,atmosphere and the view was very relaxing. I will definitely be back to sample more selections.

I had high expectations based on the glowing reviews, but my experience was quite disappointing. The tuna tartare was poorly presented, indicating a lack of skill from the chef. I ordered a salad with ranch dressing, but it arrived without any dressing. When I requested ranch, the staff was unhelpful and dismissive. The pecan fried trout with mashed potatoes was another letdown. The potatoes were ice cold, and the fish was barely warm, suggesting poor coordination in the kitchen. Additionally, the constant rotation of five different servers made the service feel disorganized and impersonal. Overall, the experience fell far short of what I anticipated.

First visit! Went for lunch, it was so good! Had the prime rib sandwich and chips, Chicken Fry sandwich and the dessert ice cream ball with candied Pecans. Could have had a little more beef on sandwich but all was so fresh and hand made tasting! Service was fast and friendly, indoor seating was a little close, but outside is nice! Complimentary bread was awesome!

This was truly a 5 star experience. Definitely make a reservation and make this a top choice. Everything was perfect, drinks were delicious and mixed right. Appetizer was phenomenal, we got the crab cake, it is fresh and not your standard small round fried puck, the chef reimagined it and nailed it perfectly, it was seasoned perfectly, with a crisp and spice to compliment. The entrees we also amazing, Everything on the plate was cooked perfect and complimented every item put there. I cannot rave enough, definitely try!

This was our first stop on our Honeymoon and let me just say, the food was amazing! We sat at the bar and had the pleasure to be served by Sam and Travis, they made the entire experience so much fun, they were very knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. We ordered the chicken fried steak and sausage rigatoni (I believe) and they split the meals for both of us to try, as an appetizer we ordered the Caesar salad which was delicious and the Chicken tortillas soup was so creamy and very flavorful. This was a very lovely establishment and we will definitely be back! Keep in mind it is on the more expensive side but overall I’d say the staff and the food make it very well worth it!

We received a nice recommendation for dinner at Broadway 10 Bar & Chophouse ; we enjoyed the BACON ELEVATED which included a variety of flavored bacon strips, including jalapeño, peppered, candied espresso,smoked, and candied bourbon. The classic cut Ribeye was perfection! Great vibes and great service!

Very thoughtful, food was good, servers were all great. Tasty sweet wine, the atmosphere very relaxing, overall great experience, we will definitely came back again. Our waiter was Ricky L he was fenomenal. Thank you.

Nice atmosphere and very good ambiance. Service was exceptional. This was my first time in the establishment and was not very impressed with the food. The salads were drenched in dressing. Ordered 3 different kinds and all came drenched in dressing. Ordered a medium steak that came very well done. Replacement steak seemed over seasoned, maybe because of rushing it and tasted seared as opposed to the wood grilled I ordered. Sides were also drenched in sauce, struggled to eat the mushrooms because of the overwhelming taste of the accompanying sauce. The Chicken Diablo on the other hand was really tasty and well made and the accompanying Mashed potatoes were really good.
