Great vibe, great food, and awesome staff the past couple times we have went. Justin stayed attentive to our table the whole time and the manager Erin stopped by to check in and make sure we were taken care of. Great job overall to your staff for making us feel welcomed. We will definitely be back!
Our first experience was pretty good. We ordered a couple of appetizers before the actual meals. The waitress did a pretty good job. The alligator bites tasted like plastic, which was disappointing. The cheese sticks or "logs" were awesome, as were the rest of the appetizers. The voodoo shrimp was absolutely fantastic. Would definitely recommend this place.
Honestly I haven’t had many good experiences here. However Mollie the bartender & Bar Manager Erin have definitely turned this place around for me & my friends! This is going to be our new spot! Thanks for the excellent service & awesome atmosphere!!

Pleasantly surprised by Volcano restaurant! The ambiance is very mellow. They have a bar, sushi bar, tables and cozy booths. The service is amazing! We were greeted and seated immediately, everyone was friendly, and very accommodating towards our baby. We loved our sever, Mia, she was extraordinarily sweet and an overall great server. All the food was delicious and presented beautifully: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 Salmon Mango Sushi (raw) 5/5 Sakura Sushi (cooked) 5/5 Hell’s Ramen We ordered it with less spice than it’s normally served with and it was still pretty hot but had great flavor. I would recommend ordering it mild. 5/5 Jalapeño hibachi with a side of fried noodles Can’t wait to go back!
I recently ordered a combination noodle soup from Volcano, and I must say, I was disappointed with the overall quality, particularly the shrimp. The shrimp in the soup was extremely mushy, which was quite unpleasant. Mushy shrimp could result from overcooking or using shrimp that wasn't fresh. Overcooking shrimp causes them to lose their firm texture, turning them into a soft, rubbery mess. Freshness is crucial for seafood, and anything less can ruin the dish. Serving shrimp in this state shouldn't be acceptable as it detracts from the enjoyment of the meal and raises concerns about food safety. With inflation driving up prices, customers naturally expect a level of quality that justifies the expense. Cutting corners on ingredients or preparation isn't the way to win loyal customers. I hope the restaurant takes this feedback to heart and improves the quality of their dishes.
Our lunch was delicious. The staff was very nice and friendly. Thank you

Alex was a great server. Attentive to her tables with a smile. Great atmosphere to watch sporting events on clear TV screens. Space seems limited since it fills up quickly at busy hours, so expect a wait. Food was great. The turkey avocado smash sandwich is a great choice. Twin Peaks brownie sundae is always a great dessert choice.
The bone in breaded wings are awesome. Ice cold beers are great! Super smooth. The service was horrible though. Waitress brought us another round without asking when we had more than half left. When asked why she said because we looked thirsty. Definitely weren't thirsty in any way. We just wanted the food. She was rude and even rolled her eyes when asked for more ranch.
Stopped by Odessa Twin Peaks. Wings and drinks were delicious. Our waitress, Adriana, provided great service. Beautiful girl with a great attitude and a sweet smile. Always made sure to check up on us and if we needed anything. Food and service 10 out of 10! Thank you Adriana!!

I dined in for lunch at The Barn Door. I love the theme and the restaurant was very clean. I wish I'd stayed longer to learn more about the history and decor. The customer service that I received was absolutely exceptional. I don't remember my waitress' name, but she was the perfect waitress. The bread was so good that I forgot I had placed my order. Lol. I ordered a steak and a baked potato. The steak was good just like I like it. Although I wasn't a fan of the baked potato, it didn't take away from the overall experience. I will definitely dine here again.
The barn door has amazing steaks and the bread is amazing. The ribeye is a great choice and the apple pie is a must try it comes out really hot on a skillet. Service is great!
The food is just okay. The joint is somewhat historic but feels old and not in a cozy way. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger (I was not asked what temperature I wanted the patty... not a good sign!). The meat was overcooked and dry, but the bacon and veg were nice. The fries were cooked well and seasoned correctly. The cheesecake was large and tasty, but the strawberry topping was from a can. If it wasn't for my buddy wanting to eat here, I would have gone elsewhere.

It was a good atmosphere..everyone working was great and had good attitudes happy and very nice..servers were excellent and attentive..we did have to wait a lil bit though this place was packed and we know good things take time ..Highly recommended though u will wait if you want a good home cook meal or a great steak!! Was worth the wait..thank you for the great service guys keep it up!!!
We enjoyed our time there , the food was good and the service was great. It was extremely busy but the servers were really nice and attentive .
Place is nice, you will wait because it’s busy. Seems like food proportions have change over the years. Seems like less is given but food is good. The steak was great. The salmon was small but delicious. Next time will try the bar with more with drinks. Overall it was a great experience.

Everything about this restaurant was exceptional. I wish I could remember my servers name, because he was amazing, but every staff member in this establishment was kind to us. We went for my birthday and I got a free entrée from a select menu, and a free scoop of ice cream. I took a reccomendation from our server for my drink choice, and it was so delicious too. It's a bit pricer than most restaurants in Odessa, but honestly you get what you pay for, and that was well worth it. Can't wait to come to town again and enjoy that delicious buffalo cauliflower again.
So far this is the best place I've eaten in Midland. I had the taboo shrimp as one of my appetizers and that was very good. Chips and salsa was ok, nothing too special w that. The main dish I had, the Omaha steak, was perfectly cooked. The waitress, Chrystal M., did an excellent job w the presentation, cutting the steak open to show that it was cooked to my liking. I had the toffee cake for dessert and that was the perfect end to an almost perfect meal.
Great service, waiting staff is present and very attentive. Water never went empty, beer came quickly. Food was fresh, modern, and quick. The sushi is amazing! Garlic Salmon and Creamy Mushroom and Shrimp were amaaaazing. Atmosphere is beautiful and welcoming!! Definitely coming back no doubt!

The food and drinks were great! One of the few places that actually serve chicken and waffles and mimosas. The atmosphere was ok. Inside vent really crowded. The front table is in a horrible spot. The covered patio area was really stuffy even on a cool day with all the fans on. They did have a cauliflower crust pizza option!
I've been here many times before. The entire menu is delicious. However, I tend to find myself here more so during breakfast/brunch hours. Every time we visit this establishment, we have a good time. The food is delicious and consistent, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is nice and vibrant. This last time we went, it was a bit more unique. Upon viewing the menu, I realized one of my most preferred brunch dishes was no longer on the menu: prime rib hash. I, however, asked the waitress if it were possible to still order it, and if not, I would gladly go with the steak and eggs. Smiling, she took my order and said she would ask the chef. Imagine my elation when she brought out my prime rib hash. I was so happy, it made my day. With a side of sausage, I enjoyed my meal. Though there was a slight wait, I could not let that get to me even the slightest considering the generosity of the staff in serving me an item not on the menu. Red oak continues to be one of my preferred restaurants to visit on special occasions and occasional brunches. I highly recommend people visit, and thank you so much to the staff that made my meal a reality.
I have had many experiences at Red Oak Kitchen. Every time I have dined at this establishment I have quite literally been awed by the perfect Yin & Yang balance of a warm home feeling and luxurious dining. Last nights experience was, in any way, no different. Luckily we were able to be sat upstairs, and other than the patio, it is my favorite place to perch. Our waitress was outgoing and anticipated our needs without being in any way a hummingbird, and offered delightful banter. I loathe the fact that Lubbock Texas does not have such a place to congregate and have a peck at such high quality fares. Food for thought? I think so. I cannot depart without highlighting a beverage that came at the recommendation of our waitress, the WTX Mule. Delectable.

Great Italian atmosphere in the heart of Odessa, came with the family looking for a family own place. Didn’t disappoint, service and atmosphere were very good. Serving sizes are HUGE!! Better come hungry or be sure you will take food home. The flavor of the food needs a bit more kick, felt that could use more flavor but overall a good experience for a family dinner. The bread was fantastic
This dish was amazing! It was one of the chicken dishes with a marina cream sauce. The portions are incredible and you could definitely share. My coworker ordered the Calzone which covered her plate! They serve fresh hot bread and salad but they don’t provide oil and garlic dipping sauce for your bread. A definite must try!!!
Restaurant has a pretty casual vibe. It’s a BYOB place so if you like wine with your meal you can bring your own bottle. We ordered the mozzarella sticks as an appetizer. We weren’t that impressed and definitely didn’t think that the 7 sticks were worth the $18 price tag. Honestly, they tasted like the frozen ones we can cook at home. Our entrees were all very good though and huge portions. Each meal was served with a decent sized side salad. We all had left overs to bring home. Our waitress, Ezmariah, was so sweet and the service was excellent. It’s so nice to eat somewhere and actually have great service. We live in Midland but this will be on our list of places to eat in Odessa when we want something different from our normal routine.

The food has plenty of flavor and the portion size is just right! Seems like 6pm is when a lot more people show up for dinner so I recommend going just a little bit before that. Chicken Enchiladas plate on the left & The Mexican Plate Special is on the right. Chips and salsa are provided as soon as you sit down. Music is playing, but not at a loud volume so you can enjoy a conversation and background music at the same time.
Went to Taqueria Guadalajara last night and had a bad experience. Figured I’d try to redeem my taste buds by going to La Bodega, based on the reviews and pictures. Lol-wrong. I ordered the “Mario Burrito”, to go. Drove 7 minutes to my hotel. Walked in, washed my hands, and sat down to eat. Not only was the food cold, but it tastes like Taco Bell, except the meat at Taco Bell has more flavor. The chips they give you taste like they’re from a bag and the salsa was bland. I feel bad for people who go here and think it’s legit Mexican food. My school cafeteria made better Mexican food than these people. Save yourself time and go somewhere else…. Where? I’m not sure, but this place is a total disappointment.
Came here with my wife and son. We were seated quickly and it was a family friendly environment. Bathrooms are a little small though, and the food is good but basic, and so we agreed that it was a little overpriced.

The food was great but the reason for the review is because of the excellent experience! We went last night (Friday), and there was a live band playing. Thankfully, we had made a reservation because when we got there, it started filling up fast. Not long after we sat down, we were introduced to our waitress whose name is Ashley. She was magnificent! Our water glass never got empty, we never had plates sitting in front of us that were empty. The musical experience was wonderful by Eric Baker and his lovely wife. It was such a romantic experience. There were some “cowboys” getting really loud and yelling at the bar ruining the atmosphere, but they left soon after. I assume someone said something to them. this was such a romantic place, especially if you’re looking for a date night. Very classy, and upscale. My boyfriend got the lobster risotto (pictured) and he said it was amazing! He also got the Murphy (pictured) and said it was OK. I got the fettuccine and it was OK. The charcuterie board was pretty decent, and their wine list is not excellent, but I got the rosé that paired well with the fettuccine (pictured) and charcuterie board. My boyfriend got a cocktail called the Roxxi (pictured) and he absolutely loved it. Overall, it was one of the best experiences. We will be back. It is a little pricey, so be prepared for that. For everything we got however, it was not that bad. I should also mention that we went around 6 PM or so. The later crowd that started coming in as we were getting ready to leave started changing the atmosphere a little bit. Definitely recommend!
The food was good, our steak was over done but they did replace it. The place is a little dark inside you almost need a flashlight to see the menu. Overall nice to try out on a date but a bit on the pricey side for normal visits.
Well, the food fell short. I was having High hopes from seeing reviews that's why I always have to go myself ! We ordered the cheese bread for an appetizer, it was like 10 dollars for 4 bites of the thinnest bread dish I've ever seen, nice presentation though. We ordered drinks that took a long time to get there. They have a lot of waitresses making sure your water is full, but speak a little English and can't help with checking on drinks or anything. I ordered a Lobster Risotto dish also for an appetizer It came out pretty quick, as I was eating the dish I noticed you can barely see any Lobster meat at all, that'd were a few minces of meat. I would have been happy with a few small chunks, but almost non existent. I shine that off, then go on to Ordering the rack of lamb, cooked medium . They did great on the cook! The flavor could have used a little more seasoning and some acid(a red wine reduction or balsamic vinegar blend would have brought the dish full circle), it came with risotto but needed something else on the side like Asparagus. My wife ordered the Chicken Alfredo Fettuccine pasta, the pasta itself was good, the flavors were lacking though and that could definitely throw in some more ingredients in there! It was pretty Basic, and the chicken was like like pieces, I'm a cook and wouldn't serve any pasta with chicken looking like that ! It was nice inside, nice setting, staff was nice, also had live music but the band wasn't great and I just wasn't sucked into the experience like I hoped I was. It was super expensive, for what you get really not worth it for me. I would probably go to the bar for a few drinks maybe but I wouldn't go for dinner again. Overall it fell short, I'd give it a 3.4 out of 5 stars and I could Not Reccomend!

Sitting here staring at my plate still and how amazing the food was. The staff was great helping us decide (not locals). Got the pulled pork and mac&cheese sliders….. absurdly good food!!!!! Recommend if you’re on a long trip or passing through Odessa this is a must stop
Amazing food that will have you wanting to take a nap afterwards. We did take out but definitely will be going back and trying different things on the menu.
The food was great. Great service. Definitely great atmosphere, cute decor. It was just very hot in there though and the floors were slippery, which made me nervous because I use a walking cane. Not safe for handicap, made me feel like I could have easily slipped. I ordered the bad mother clucker the one with pineapple coleslaw, but it was really hard to taste the pineapple. I honestly didn’t taste it at all but overall, the food was really good. The sweet potato fries are the best! Along with their cilantro ranch.

I had a phenomenal experience. Our server was Issac (worked in the bar). Was very attentive, the communication between the team caused for a great atmosphere. The food was delicious. Issac was a very well spoken gentleman (he deserves a raise!) thank you to the entire team for a great experience. Will definitely be going back and highly recommended!
Love love love this place. Perfect for a date, meeting, event.. the food the place is great the people so friendly. I got the beef rib, the best beef I’ve had in Odessa. The beef just falls of the bone and melts in your mouth it’s a very delightful experience. We also got the rib pizza. The doughs flavor was unbelievably tasty. Will deffenently be coming back!! To try their other dishes and we had the calamari appetizer it was also really good
First and NOT the last time we will eat here. Swordfish was fantastic, Beef short rib was great. Angelina was fabulous and attentive. Even the manager was on top of everything on the floor. Keep up the great work.

I am truly disappointed with how my very first experience at a Cheddar’s went. I was seated as soon as I walked in, but after that it went downhill fast. The server was nice and polite but slow. I ordered the steak and shrimp and it came out fresh and hot, but my steak, which was ordered medium rare (warm red center) was well done. I pushed the call button for my server and had to wait almost 15 minutes before I just had to flag someone down. They apologized and remade my plate but they had previously taken my fork and the steak was over cooked again. So another 10 mins go by before I see my server again. I informed her that she never gave me a fork, or the water I asked for before I had even gotten my first plate of food. Still had to pay for the entire meal, that I didn’t get to eat. Just forced to look at it. I will not be back.
Wow! Perfect customer service skills. Sat at the bar and had drinks with friends. We enjoyed those deliciously tender cheese curds, spinach dip with cheese and their croissants (have honey as the drizzle). Very awesome experience. It was nice and cool inside. Every one I came in to contact at this establishment was very friendly. I definitely r Recommend coming here. I failed to take pictures of the main seating area.
Ordered online and picked up curbside. Came home and opened up my box to find crushed chips and once again no sauce on my cheesecake. Customer service in this town is a joke but I really hoped cheddars was better…

A glowing five stars, here’s why: The ambiance at Bubba’s is lively and energizing without being chaotic. The food is phenomenal. (Nothing has ever disappointed.) Our favorites: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Combo appetizer Fried Pickles Mild wings Sunshine Burger (runny egg) Fries (The pizza and pasta are second tier, but still much better than other restaurants) Servers are friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and very accommodating. (Michael, especially) Drinks are immediately brought out, with the requested amount of ice, and the food comes out quickly. The restaurant is clean and well maintained. When a table leaves, it immediately gets bussed. Our experience at Bubba’s has consistently been perfect!
On our way through stopped for Sunday lunch. The place was busy but they seemed to move tables efficiently. Enjoyed the pizza especially the crust and sauce. The chicken on salad was very flavorful and moist
Only been here like 3 times and the service got better!! My waitresses Diana and (sorry I can't remember the other lady's name) were superb! I had their southern fried chicken and let me tell you about a juicy piece of meat!! The manager always stops by to ensure everything is good. I would absolutely recommend this place. And the food is inexpensive too. Spent ~$40 for 1 adult and 2 kids meals. Definitely go to Bubba's!! Edited: Giving a shout out to Victor, one of the Managers there. He always ensures we're well taken care of, and any complaints are addressed with urgency. He rocks!

I recently stayed at the Marriott in Odessa, Texas, and had the pleasure of dining at their restaurant. The meal was exceptional, with every dish surpassing my expectations in terms of quality and taste. What truly made the experience special was the outstanding service provided by Patrick, our server, and Richard, the dining room manager. Patrick's attentiveness and friendly demeanor ensured that we were well taken care of throughout the meal. He was knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent recommendations that enhanced our dining experience. Richard's warm hospitality and professionalism were also evident, making us feel welcomed and valued as guests. Overall, the combination of delicious food and top-notch service made for a memorable evening. I highly recommend dining at the Marriott in Odessa if you're in the area. Kudos to Patrick and Richard for their exceptional service!
These guys put on a pretty solid Father’s Day brunch buffet. Great foods and desert. The manager and all of the staff are really friendly and warm. Speaking of warm: The restaurant stays warm haha… people need to quit going outside! There are outlets on the floor. I took a photo of one… I witnessed at least 7 near miss broken hips while eating. Interesting move adding obstacles on the floor. Haha. Definitely worth the money. We will be back.
What a great end to a fabulous weekend. Anular eclipse in the morning and dinner at Barrell & Derrick in the evening. Being inside the hotel lobby, we would not have found it by ourselves. We were here slightly early for the dinner rush, so the service was very personal. We ordered the Bacon wrapped Cornish Hen for appetizer, Beef short ribs and Free cage chicken for the entree, Creme Brulee and Fried milk for dessert, along with a couple of drinks. The food was awesome. Great taste and portions. We will definitely recommend Barrell & Derrick to anyone that asks. Tomorrow, an 11-hour drive back home.
