We celebrated our anniversary at Station Restaurant, and it was absolutely perfect. They seated us at the best table with a beautiful, private view that made the evening feel so intimate. Our food was delicious, and our server, Kora, went above and beyond—she was friendly, attentive, and even surprised us with a complimentary dessert to mark our special occasion. It was such a thoughtful gesture that really made our night. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience!

We had excellent service and the meal was delicious! Steak was cooked perfectly, was tender and flavourful. I found drinks were overpriced, that would be my only tiny gripe.

We had our office gathering there tonight. There was 11 of us and we were well looked after. Our food was hot, very tasty and all came out at once. Our server was attentive, accomodating and friendly. I had the cashew crusted salmon with steamed veggies and I have to say it was the tastiest salmon I've ever had. Definitely will be back!!

Great wings restaurant. big and many flavors to choose from. the booths have tv's . there's also large screens throughout showing sports. deals on game day. the boneless nacho plate was fantastic. you must try it.

Got a burger, poutine, and salad for pickup since I was in the hotel across the street. Wish I had just gone in because the place looks great. Especially the arcade section! Food was good. Poutine was more plentiful than expected. Left me very satisfied.

We dined at Wacky’s Wing last weekend. The vibe of the restaurant is really great, making it a perfect spot to watch sports. We ordered the boneless Habanero and mild Buffalo wings, hoping for a flavorful experience. While the wings were okay, we were disappointed with the lack of sufficient sauce coating. We specifically ordered saucy wings, but they fell short in that aspect. Overall, the atmosphere was fantastic, but the wings did not meet our expectations.

Flew to NB on Sunday and wanted some comfort food. I ordered ribs with some sides. The ribs were the driest hunk of meat I’ve ever encountered and they messed up my sides. Despite this, a date suggested we go there for some food and drinks so I gave them another chance. Ordered a pulled pork sandwich and a pink lemonade drink. sandwich came with the fakest tasting Mac and cheese on it. My drink came with a nice side of 7 fruit flies in it. I pointed this out to the server and all she did was remove the drink from the bill. I informed her the drink bottles probably full of the buggers and they should be checked. She argued with me tooth and nail that they cleaned them “every night”. So I asked her to explain where the flies in my drink came from. She could not. TL;DR, poor food, drink and worse service. Don’t go here.

Food was delicious and service was good. Had the make a platter option shared with my daughter. Portions were huge ,had enough for dinner the next night. Wish I had time to stick around for the band that was setting up. Will be back next time I'm in town. Right in the downtown of North Bay. Place is busy I would recommend reservations for a Saturday night. Lots of parking in the area.

The place is super cool, I went many times and the service is tremendous, the food is varied and delicious and the atmosphere is excellent with live music. Good for family or group celebrations.

This restaurant was truly a little gem we found when traveling through North Bay, Ontario. It was a nice way to finish our road trip. We were there during non peak hours, so the restaurant was not busy at all. Service was great Waiting time was reasonable. We could tell all the dishes were made fresh to order. Foods were authentic, and they all had unique tasty flavors.

I am a regular customer in this cafe that it has become an extension of my kitchen. The environment has a warm, homey feeling with the delicious smells escaping from the kitchen. The restaurant is clean and the staff treat you like family. I have not only become friends with the staff but also with the customers. If you’re wanting an authentic and relaxing dining experience, I highly recommend you try this cafe. ️

Classic diner that is always a go to when Im visiting North Bay. My favourite is the breakfast poutine which is very filling and absolutely delicious. Everything on their menu looks great though and the coffee served here is excellent.

Start off by saying the food is good but.. ordering tske out is kinda pointless they won't make your food till you get there so ordering is null. If you order skip pay for it in advanced for pickup they still won't make it till the timer runs out. Like they are worried about people not picking up their order. Skip is paid in advanced so why?? You go in on your lunch trying to get a quick bite but you just can't do that here. Seriously hope they make changes as it ridiculous.

Great atmosphere, extremely good service. Waitress was great, kind and attentive, always knowing when I was low on coffee. Kitchen staff were great. The wait time was less than 10 minutes to get my food. I ordered a classic burger with the works, and fries, portion size was perfect, and I was full before I could finish my plate. Did not have room for desert, even though I wish I did. Burger was nearly perfect, although I found it a tad dry (I should have added cheese.) fries were perfect. And for the atmosphere of the place, I’d say it is a great 50’s style diner, with an amazing aesthetic ie. classic coca-Cola signage all over the walls, nostalgic pictures of cars from the 50’s. Seating was very nice as well, with the old fashioned leather benches.

I'm always a fan of this place. It's definitely a good spot to stop in, have a clubhouse sandwich before heading back out on the road. Coffee on par, staff is good at making their rounds and friendly. I'd admit, the price has gone up, and portions slightly changed over the many years of stops I've done with this restaurant. But that's like everything lately. Cheers to a long-lasting restaurant.

The best cheese burger of my life it’s huge heavy and very tasty and fresh cut frys too loved it also the wings are jumbos and good and so is the pulled pork poutine a must try u won’t leave hungry and the potatoe skins are good too

My absolute favorite place to get and a drink and something to eat!! Everyone on the staff is super amazing, Jess treats me fantasticly every time I'm there! 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

I went to The Portage tonight for dinner and drinks and live Irish music and I have to say, everything was amazing. The service was attentive and friendly; the food was tasty and good portion sizes; and the live music was amazing! I loved the ambiance of the pub which was cozy and inviting. The Portage exceeded my expectations and I can’t wait to visit again!

Mr Mitch was our server today and was fabulous!! We are from out of town and loved his welcoming, friendly, awesome attitude. The food was great, huge portions, arrived super hot, looked and tasted great!! Service was outstanding!! We will most definitely be back there!!! I was impressed by how delicious the food is with large portions - good value for $. I had the smoked meat omelette and recommend it. I was in a rush but service was very quick! The staff were friendly and sweet. I chatted with the owner - I like to support family-owned businesses. Great experience!

I was expecting to be a real Fifty diner . The location and atmosphere is really good. But they really need to work on their food especially egg Benedict. I ordered egg Benedict with cheese, muffins were completely cold and both cheeses as well. They should warm the muffins and melt the cheese to taste better. Their pancakes were okay but I think they should serve real maple syrup instead of those packets especially in the real north of Ontario.

I had an amazing dining experience at Lot 88 Steakhouse on McKeown Ave! The seafood platter was a delight, with perfectly seasoned salmon, juicy shrimp, and tender scallops. The mashed potatoes were creamy, and the grilled vegetables added a fresh, vibrant touch to the meal. The presentation was also beautiful, as you can see from the attached photo. A big thank you to Ama, our server, who made the experience even better! She was attentive, friendly, and ensured everything was perfect. Her excellent service truly enhanced our dining experience. Highly recommend Lot 88 for anyone in North Bay looking for delicious food and top-notch service. I'll definitely be back!

I really enjoyed my dining experience at lot 88.It was excellent food.Excellent service and the atmosphere is very nice. The steak was juicy and tender and tasted divine. I personally loved it. The steak was cooked to perfection. Exactly the way I like it the mushrooms and onions We're very delicious side. I'll try the small yorkies for a appetizer was not disappointed. They were great. And the Caesar salad was excellent.Thank you a LOT 88 I'll be back!!!!!

Our family went for my aunts birthday we had never been. The food was actually divine and our server Celine was so fun! Will definitely go again. I would say this was by far the best meal I’ve ever had in north bay!

Good Food... Good Prices.. WEIRD service! Was very uncomfortable even ordering takeout... The 1 table in there was wondering if their waiter went home. Wings were excellent... They would have a market for them if promoted. canolis were crisp and would be good, but inner cream a little chalky. Very good Caesar salad.

I didn't think to take photos of our dinner but that was amazing as well! Our Server Tammy was outstanding! We are most likely going to become regulars becouse of her lol I don't know who the Chef is but WOW! The food was so good and well presented! The atmosphere was so nice! Looking forward to my next visit!

Cobb Salad $18 : The presentation of the cobb salad was beautiful, neat, and clean with generous amounts of each topping and the salad was a very decent portion for the price. Filling, Fresh, Crispy and they gave you a choice of dressing instead of being stuck with one. Southwest Steak Wrap with fries $18 : The steak wrap exceeded my expectations. It was juicy, fresh, flavorful, and warm and every bite was perfect. You could taste the chipotle sauce but it didn’t overpower the rest of the ingredients. I was not expecting the steak to be as juicy as it was, figured it would be on the dryer side but it wasn’t! It's truly a masterpiece. The fries were crispy with a nice crunch in each bite but fluffy and soft inside. They weren’t overly salted which I love as it gives you control over your sodium level of preference. They were also the perfect portion of the wrap. Warm and fresh. The presentation could have been better of the wrap as it was just sliced in half and put flat on the plate but still doesn’t take away much. Dessert: Pecan Pie with Ice Cream $8 : We got their homemade pecan pie with ice cream to share and it was sweetly divine. The crust was crunchy yet soft and each fork of the pie just slid on gracefully. Generous amount of pecans on top and the filling was soft, moist, flavourful, and each bite was just as enjoyable as the first. Definitely on the sweeter side but somehow not overly sweet. I’ve never been a big fan of pecan pies because they have always been too sweet for my liking and the filling never seemed perfect but this was the first time I enjoyed it and craved more! When we asked for Ice Cream with the pie I was only expecting one scoop but they served the pie with a generous 3 scoops of vanilla. Waitress: She was quick, friendly (not overly friendly), listened to orders well, brought out the food fast (within 10-15 minutes of placing order), did a quick check in, anticipated questions and answered them before they could be asked (as if reading your mind). The service was perfect. Right on time with the offer of dessert and bringing the bill. Location/ Atmosphere: Clean, patio had nice-sized tables and seats were sturdy. Offered a view of the main road. Shade was provided with umbrellas. I really love the details to the washroom signs. For the female washroom, it was a stick figure with a triangle skirt but the arms were made with a W and for the man's same typical stick figure but with arms with an M. It Shows subtle creativity. We went back a 2nd time but for breakfast and we sat inside. The booths are comfortable with space. I liked the pancake combo but didn't enjoy the eggs much. I asked for scrambled but got a omlette and it wasn't flavorful. The pancake was perfect however and served with local maple syrup.

It was my first time at Syl's. Great restaurant, staff was wonderful and food was delicious. I had the liver and onions with bacon. It tasted great. My mother in law had the seafood platter. She said it was delicious. I tried one of the summer lemonades. Pineapple lemonade was quite good. Then we all had pie. Coconut cream pie was delicious.

Great service food was good however the seafood platter was not up to par, we did get a more than reasonable discount because of this. I had the chicken burger it’s always great and consistent. Absolutely delicious. The French onion brisket sandwich… which is a beef dip the best in North Bay maybe, actually I’ve never had a better one. Melt in your mouth, tender beef. Fries are hot and crispy. Service is fast and friendly. Quality food at a decent price. Poutine is very good, those fries - on point. We enjoyed our meal and are becoming regulars.

Great meal. In and out within an hour. I had the chicken souvlaki. Good amount of nicely prepared chicken, the salad must have had a dozen olives in it. Nice side salad, good quantity of rice and a pita cut in points. Hubby had the 2 PCE fish and chips. He says it was very good. Came with a small coleslaw and tarter. Each meal was $22, which is very fair. The crowd is certainly an older crowd, maybe because they like good food !!

Cute and cozy lil diner with great service. The dishes are super delish and creative. Highly recommend the French toast weekend special; it comes stuffed with blueberry cream cheese, plus berries and sausage or other meat etc. The eggs Benedict with cranberry and Brie is also amazing

We have dined here before but found our latest experience much more enjoyable. Our server (we thought she was the owner, not so), was very pleasant. Her smile and amazing service was a treat. Thank you S. and hope to see you again. T.M.

First time having Eggs Benedict. Cheddar and Bacon Benny for the Win! Highly recommend. This place is busy but considering it’s as delicious as it is, that makes sense. I love to take my staff here and we all have a great time when we go and leave happy!! Seriously this place is fantastic, try the stuffed French toast as well.

Booked their side room for a group Christmas dinner with some friends/colleagues. The manager, Jamie, was so great to deal with. The food and drink were amazing and everyone had a great time. We all loved the room and holiday decorations too.

First time at Average Joe and service was slow (45 minutes to get our food) but waiter was apologetic. My drink tasted great but my Joe Burger did not. The bacon was undercooked and the patty was burnt. I thought a burger would be a safe choice but could be an just an off night. Good thing they have the best views.

As we had our dog with us so we sat on the patio. Katie was our waitress. She was very friendly and personable. We started with the dill pickle soup which was delicious. I had the fish tacos which were ok. (I don’t like cilantro) and my husband had the prime rib sandwich which he found very good. We very much enjoyed our experience.

The prime rib was excellent. Don’t need to pay extra for condiments. The servers and workers are super friendly. The desert is not really my favourite. It’s something that they could work on. Thanks for a great night people keep up the good work.

Ordered 3 pounds of wings. Recieved 22 dried out turds. Came to $67. Called to complain as there must be some mistake. Was put on hold for 15 mins till I hund up and called back. Apparently 22 dried out tiny wings is 3 pounds at Cecils.

All I can say is Rob saved the day! If every business had a guy like this non would go under! This guy genuinely cares about his customers! He is a wonderful person to represent this company, he is very knowledgeable about the history of the business and all of its possible facts. He puts 100% into making sure you have a good time while you're having an experience at cecils. His attitude towards any problems that may arise make you feel like you're genuinely being taken care of and not an annoyance to his evening. He is genuinely an asset to this business and I wish him all the best in anything he does in his life!!!
