Delicious!! I got the shrimp scampi dip, a salad wedge, and the sausage gnocchi dish. Everything was absolutely delicious. Staff are so friendly and attentive. The decor is classy. Would absolutely go there again. I think the pricing was definitely competitive...the food was worth it. It was so fresh and well made.

This was our first time to visit Taste. We needed dinner before catching a show at Shakespeare. The staff was very professional and helpful in deciding what to try. We tried an assortment of options and they were all great. We really enjoyed the champagne flights and the Christmas themed drinks. I plan to go back to just try more drinks

Love this local restaurant! Best wine selection in the city and fantastic food. Their wine retail prices are very competitive and they have a sale section that usually has some great deals.

I had a wonderful first time experience today for lunch! Since I’m a truck driver and have to deliver at Sam’s Club in the morning, I looked for some place that was not the everyday food choice and an so glad I found Jan’s Beach House Grill! I was greeted by a delightful smell of Coconut/ beach smell and great food and was seated by a sweet lady and she said she hoped I hadn’t been waiting long. I went into the restroom first to wash my hands before I sat down, and told her that. That decorations and flamingos and beach themed obviously and very tasteful. I was told before I got here that they were closing soon, ( a car dealership made an offer the owners couldn’t refuse) so they would be busy. I came in around 1pm for lunch and indeed they were busy, which means the food is great!!! Right away I noticed the great prices!! I’m sure that’s one of the big draws here!!!! SUPER SERVER Josh greeted me and got my drink order back to me quickly and then I asked him what his favorites were. ( I almost always ask my servers that question) I ordered the grilled fish ( grouper ) fingers and Josh’s favorites green beans and green fried tomatoes!! Within just a few minutes, he returned with my meal exactly as ordered and let me tell you!!!! The grilled fish was perfectly seasoned with the right amount of lemon pepper and the green beans served in a monkey dish were awesome too but the 3 THICK FRIED GREEN TOMATOES were the BOMB!! The best I’ve ever had!! Seasoned and breaded perfectly again, and because they were thick, I could taste the green in the tomato, and the seasoning weren’t to thick that it over powered and it stayed On when I cut it half!!! Deliciousness all around! I wish I lived closer and glad I could make it here . Found out that they’re not closing until APRIL ‘25 because the demolition company is so busy right now!! Good for all the regular patrons of Jan’s in Montgomery!! I’m sure they’re going to be missed!!

First time in the city and first time here. Beautiful place inside. All the food smells wonderful, mine in particular was perfect. Ms. Lori at the bar is one of the best bartenders I've ever encountered. Highly recommend for food and a nice visit.

There is so much dust on the grates, beams, walls and decor. Flat soda, 100% syrup. Hard, cloudy water that coated my mouth. Expired Mayo. Burger patty was not good. Seemed microwaved from the freezer. Plastic-y cheese slices. No seasoning on anything. My stomach is churning. Friendly people, but I'm confused at the 5 star reviews.

This was my fourth time eating here and I will have to say that it has really gone down hill ver the past couple of years. We ordered the charcuterie board, bottle service mimosa, feta spinach omelette, chicken and waffles, the eggs Benedict and two sides of Gouda grits.. The charcuterie board was actually really good, we were upset with the bottle that we purchased because it was only the bottle that came out and it got warm within the next 30 minutes. So there is no type of container that comes in to keep your bottle cold. My friend did not eat her omelette because the eggs were extremely runny in her omelette. My chicken for the chicken and waffles was flavored Very well. However, The waffles are much like Eggo waffles… Super thin and not really fluffy. In addition, my dish was soaked in syrup. When it came to the grits, my friend had hers come out piping hot… You could see the steam coming from them (That’s what we like) Mine they came out and they were extremely room temperature, some might even label them as cold. I don’t see how this is possible as both of our orders came out at the same time. The waiter was all right, it seemed like he was the only one working on the weight staff for the entire morning. Mind you, we were there on a Sunday morning. He would only come by our table every 25 minutes or so. Needless to say, we were not really happy with our food And we will not be returning.

Always a good spot to swing by for a meal that feels fancy. The menu changes from time to time so always worth checking back. Whatever seafood pasta they have is always a hit and the steaks are tasty. Good wine selection, and plenty of mixed drinks and beer to choose from too.

For my entree, I chose the Lunch Portion Lobster and Shrimp Pasta. The dish was a delightful surprise, slightly sweet but packed with flavor, and they were generous with the lobster – a real treat. My boyfriend opted for the Pork Cheek Tacos with fries. Each taco was a blend of rich, savory flavors, a testament to their culinary craft.And you know what really sealed the deal for me? They serve Pepsi, my absolute favorite. It's like they knew exactly what I wanted. In summary, Cork & Cleaver isn't just about good food; it's an experience that makes you feel right at home. If you find yourself in Montgomery, make sure to give it a try. It's a place where every dish is thoughtfully prepared and served with a smile.

I got the Newks Q sandwich. It was pretty good. I like the white BBQ sauce. It’s different, but a good different. I’m glad I tried it. Is it good enough to pay $11 for? No. If this was a meal including a drink id probably understand. Cake slice is $5.. I could go to Publix and get a whole one for that price. Customer service is pretty nice. Got acknowledgment a few times and friendly smiles. Overall it was an ok experience.

Even with what I would consider “skinny” staff this place was great from the hostess to the server. Food was fresh. Granted the dining area could use a smidge more cleaning, it was towards the end of the day. My was fresh. And the condiment station has always been solid. Kids fruit was fresh and devoured with their meals as well.

Newk's is so underrated. The Pizza was great, maybe the best single serving pizza I have had at a restaurant. The Mac and cheese I expected to be eh, and it came looking flame broiled but once I started eating it I didn't stop until it was gone. I think it is hands down the best at any chain restaurant also. Not only that but I have to speak about being addicted to the Newks Q sandwich now too. Rewards program and the app are clutch. Customer service is excellent. I forgot to redeem my rewards on my last mobile order for my drink and a manager gave me one on the house. Nothing bad I can say

Great service and ambiance!Reservations are recommended but my friend and I were able to be seated at a high top table as walk-ins.Service was superb!I was able to order a sidecar as an off menu item which tasted amazing!The tuna nachos were fresh and very flavorful. The wagyu was perfectly cooked to medium but not the best cut.The portion size was ample but there was more fat on the steak than I would prefer.The sear was also borderline too heavy but perfect for my taste.The broccoli was quite tasteful as well.The key lime cheesecake is highly recommended! There's soft lighting throughout the venue which really sets the tone for an enjoyable evening. I will definitely be adding the location to my favorites in the area.

La Jolla offers an amazing dining experience and wonderful atmosphere. We went for dinner on a Friday evening and were greeted immediately. The staff was very friendly and sat us at a table overlooking the restaurant. Michael was our server and he was incredible. He offered suggestions and took the time to answer all our questions. I had the ribeye filet with fried okra. It was cooked to perfect medium rare. The okra was tasty, but I'll try another side next time. My girlfriend had the double bone in pork chop with mac and cheese. The pork chop was out of this world! She ordered it well done, which I thought would come out dry, but was I wrong! The pork chop was so juicy that we almost needed a napkin to soak it up. I will definitely be a frequent dinner here as there were many more items on the menu that I want to try. I highly recommend you checking this place out!

Terrific seafood and fusion small plates at La Jolla. Service was fast and super friendly, and our waitress recommended the lamb, raw tuna, and scallops. She was right on - all were delicious, especially the lamb. All meats are cooked on a green egg. The cocktails were excellent too although on the sweeter side. This restaurant is pricey for Montgomery but worth it for a special occasion.

Tried several food items over the span of a week since it's close to the holiday inn next door. Their soups are very good. She crab soup is creamy and tasty. The gumbo is spicy and has great flavor. The reeses peanut butter pie is really extravagant and tasty. Everything else falls a bit short. The chopped steak isn't very good. The gravy is jarringly salty. The sauteed crab claws has excessive wine that wasn't cooked out properly. Good flavor despite that though although the price is extremely steep for just crab claws. Overall a mixed bag of quality items and disappointing items but a good experience.

This was my first visit to “The Pub” and I was not disappointed! We arrived at 4:40 and the place was getting packed after just ten minutes of opening the door. We ordered the chicken supreme with white cream gravy and almonds with cheese grits and a side salad with the house Greek dressing. The dressing was incredible!!!! My only complaint is that they only serve spring mix and do not have romaine or iceberg lettuce. I’m not a fan of spring mix. I had the 12oz ribeye with fried okra and onion rings. The steak was cooked a perfect medium rare and it was amazing! The onion rings were homemade and very good. The batter was a little thick for my taste but I still ate a few. The okra was fresh and delicious! I can’t believe I waited this long to check this place out and I will definitely be back!

Chloe was amazing she was so sweet patience she double checked everything was absolutely amazing! I cannot expressed how awesome she was with us ! So many props ! The food was amIng and above par ! Definitely recommend for future visits !!

An amazing Italian place! The service was fantastic and the atmosphere was elegant. I had the octopus with grilled broccolini…simply amazing! The pasta is handmade and served al dente with amazing sauces. We shared a piece of sweet potato cheesecake, yes, sweet potato…it was incredible! Highly recommend you book a reservation and make an evening with friends and family.

I had the unique pleasure of eating at Ravello multiple times in 1 week while working an event. You would think that would become boring after awhile but it was amazing. The staff was so professional and fun. The food was amazing! This place is easily the best restaurant in Montgomery.

My family, friend and I went Herr for lunch. The food, atmosphere and courteous staff are AWESOME SAUCE!! I loved the Porcetta sandwich, cauliflower ans chestnut soup, espresso martini, orange- marmalade pound cake and ice cream! The staff are very friendly. The sous chef Leo is really awesome! The place is beautiful, peaceful, and heart warming. I will definitely be back, and I highly recommend coming here!

Sometimes a hole-in-the-wall is the way to go! This place is off the beaten path and trust me, you want to go here. We ordered the crab claws, a burger, gumbo, and oysters. Everything was incredible!! The owner stopped by to check on us, and he was a delight. Make sure you check out this hidden gem!!

We visited recently after a day on the river. This is only my second time to ever visit this location so I am not sure what is normal but the place felt like it was in the middle of a move or transition. The service staff was nice but when we ordered, she was not aware what the kitchen was out of and we were having an early dinner at about 430 but had to adjust our orders but all in all the food was good and I always enjoy eating near the water

This is definitely a hidden gem! The view to the river is spectacular and the vibe in the restaurant is so calming. Blues jazz music playing and our food and service was wonderful, everyone was very friendly. They also have live music on Sundays evenings, check their website. Here are a few photos of the restaurant outside. They have covered outdoor patio seating as well. Also, they do have a gated RV park right next door to the restaurant. Nothing real fancy, but excellent WiFi and 50/30 amp hook ups, sewer. Easy price around 40.00 a night. All gravel rv spaces, level, with a nice walking park in the front area outside the gate.

It was me and my husband first time here and we LOVED it! We made reservations and got seated within 5 mins. It took a while for our food but it was still worth it. We like the fact the curtains can be closed so we can have our privacy while eating. I loved that I was given a rose at the end of our experience. Will definitely be back.

My experience was hands down 10 out of 10!! The food, the ambiance, and melodies made it a very nice experience! Everything pictured was nothing less than amazing!

We had a party of four for my husband's birthday on March 30th. The atmosphere was nice. There was a live singer during our dinner. She was amazing; she even took requests for the birthday guests. I think there were about four other groups celebrating birthdays. So that made our experience even better. Great performer!! For appetizers, we tried the Cajun Abita Shrimp; it was definitely something different. Good amount of spiciness, but not that flavorful in my opinion. The bread that came with it was tasty. Bayou Crab Dip was better, but nothing I'd have to have again. I had the Ribeye with an Itta Bena Salad. Both were just good. I expected it to taste much better and with more flavor for the price, but I have had better and more flavorful steak for less money. Our waiter was very courteous and accommodating. For the experience, we'd definitely go again. For the food, we would try something else.

Everything was amazing. Our drinks were delicious (lemon drops), and my entree was parmesan crushed chicken, which was fresh and fulfilling. I had the carrot cake for dessert. It was delectable. I'm so sorry I don't remember our servers name but we had a party of 12 on 7/20 at 6 pm. SHE WAS TOP TIER.

Ate dinner this evening . I had the honey glazed chicken that was recommended by Patrick. Very good and juicy, as well as the asparagus. Husband got 14 oz NY strip that was very tender and tasty. Off the Clock cocktail very good also. He kept water and tea refills coming. Service by Patrick was very good. Don’t go often but when we return, will definitely request him.

My husband and I were going to go to another restaurant to celebrate our birthdays but they weren’t opened yet. That was a big blessing in disguise. If you haven’t been to Firebirds at 4 on a Monday then you are missing out. It’s a late lunch so you can save your hunger but an early enough dinner that your body has time to process the food. Bonus was how quiet and relaxing the place felt. Our server Lucy was so very sweet and you will be very lucky to have her serve you! She let us know of the Monday Wine Down special so we treated ourselves to an amazing Moscato drink. The steaks we bought were made perfect with the best flavor. The sweet tea is definitely the kind who loves the southern sweet style and mashed potatoes and baked potato were made perfectly. She then surprised us with a special desert to celebrate our birthdays. It was all so amazing I didn’t even think to take pictures before. The personally signed birthday cards were the best and capped off our date. I look forward to going back again really soon!

Everything about Vintage Year is absolutely stunning! The decor is classy and not over done, the service is attentive, professional and very knowledgeable and the food is perfectly divine! We started with the Yellowfin Tuna which just melts in your mouth then shared the Passion Fruit Salad which was the daily special salad. It was definitely special, those passion pearls were fun and delicious! Our entrees were just as spectacular as the appetizers! Perfectly cooked filet and sweet buttery crab cakes made the entire meal unforgettable. Definitely worth the visit and will return when we're traveling through again!

One of the most expensive dining options in Montgomery, I have put off the trying Vintage Year for a while because I was worried it might not live up to the hype or be worth the money. On a spontaneous date night we went full send with a four course meal and cocktails. Everything was spectacular and the service was top notch. We didn't need a reservation on a Wednesday night. The salad and the filet were both amazing. I hate how much I enjoyed it because I will be back soon, everything was great. Isaac was our server and he's great at his job.

Vintage Year was ok. It was not the fine dining experience that my husband and I expected it to be. Our service and server were extremely slow. I felt our server was on the side of unprofessional with how he handled his approach with us, sarcastic and unnecessarily comedic at times. We had to ask for bread and a refill. The cocktail, crab cakes, and burger were good, but the halibut fell short with no flavor and terrible presentation. I am not sure that we will return to Vintage Year, but it was nice to try it.

My first visit at The House was pleasant. I was immediately seated, and attended to. The service was pleasant and fun. The food was delicious. I ordered The House burger and fries which was delicious. The meat was so tasty on that burger . I also tried the Cherry Pie drink which was delicious. The ambience was very nice in which my friend and I will be returning sooner than later.

Ate here with a group of friends from work. Everything was absolutely amazing! The atmosphere, the weight staff and the food were all top-notch! We had the scallops and risotto, the salmon dish, a side salad, the tomahawk fried pork chop, the fried chicken plate with mac & cheese and collard greens. To drink we had the Tajin Dream and the moscato. Seriously, there was nothing that touched our plate that we did not like. The collard greens had an amazing flavor, the mac & cheese was absolutely delicious! Both the fried pork chops and fried chicken had some good seasoning! The salmon and scallops were cooked to perfection and the risotto was so creamy and flavorful! The weight staff was absolutely amazing as well, they would check on us frequently, and bring out everything that we had asked for.

I feel like this is a hidden gem! The breakfast is amazing! Somethings I noticed, that could be areas of improvement: Many people did not know that there are two options for food: menu items or you can dine off the buffet (drink is included). The wait on waffles are extremely too long for the buffet! I feel like they would benefit from having two self service waffle grillers. There were flies of some sort around the danish. The dishes (glasses) were not cleaned properly and the hot water kettle had debris in it. They had a great variety of teas; but due to the water...i wasn't able to try them out. Bragging areas: buffet options covers every type of eater! Cereals, fresh fruit, cheese grits, biscuits, bagels, eggs, yogurt, omelets, waffles, oatmeal & toppings, breakfast meats, hash browns, etc! Very reasonable in price. I definitely would recommend this as a go-to breakfast spot! Note the prices online (website) is not accurate

Great atmosphere and service. Food was a bit underwhelming for the price. Loved the fried oyster sliders. The asparagus was a bit gray and overcooked. Scallops were good but the risotto base was bland. Valerie was an excellent server.

Wow!!! Amazing!!! We made reservations for 6 p.m arrival we were greeted then seated. Josh was our waiter and his service was phenomenal. We asked for suggestions he was very patient and gave details. I ordered the New strip and asparagus and they both were amazing!!! The steak was cooked to perfection and once you tasted it!!! It gave the wow effect. I never had a better steak. My husband ordered the short ribs with grits and we both ate all the food!!! We top it off with dessert Jake mile high lemon meringue pie and it was mile high delicious I will definitely return when I visit Montgomery!!!

Incredibly delectable food with very fresh ingredients. I ordered the special salad with plums and it was one of the best salads I’ve ever had. We enjoyed their non-alcoholic beverage list, and our server was respectful and professional. They were very accommodating of our food allergies.

We are new to the area and have been hearing so much about City Grill. So we made reservations and we were very pleased with the experience. The atmosphere is very classy, but relaxed. The service was very attentive, knowledgeable about their specials. and made great suggestions. The food was exceptionally good! You have to try the fig pastry, it’s a must. We had a party of 7 and we were seated right on time. I would highly recommend City Grill and we will definitely be returning soon.

Ate here for dinner recently for my wedding anniversary. It’s a very nice, relaxed space. Dress code is casual. The service was very attentive and efficient, if a bit rushed - entrees came almost immediately once we were done eating our appetizers. Before we were done eating our entrees we were asked about dessert. Would have liked a bit of time between courses. The food was nice. Best course was appetizers - that’s where they have the most options. Especially liked the fig and cheese appetizer and the smoked salmon was delicious with wonderful small pieces of bread. Overall it was nice but given the prices definitely a special occasion place.

Waitress was amazing! Food was delicious! Make a reservation! You can choose outside dining, which we prefer! Brie with honey and almonds, classic, crab cake were the apps we delighted in. The main courses of our choices were the filet, perfected by the Chef! The scallops, and pasta with mushrooms and spinach was a bit more spicy than I prefer, but don't let it discourage you from the meal. Scallops were perfect! Salmon with shredded and seared Brussel sprouts and fingerling potatoes, just the whole time everyone was smiling and enjoying! This place is pricey but worth every penny1
