Hands down THE BEST breakfast I've had in all of the Quad Cities! Our server recommended the Mexican Skillet and it absolutely lived up to the hype! The eggs were cooked just right, home fries were crispy, and the whole dish packed so much flavor! The pancakes were good but definitely not the star of the show IMO. Great place! The restaurant is clean and super cute! Staff is wonderful! Highly recommend!
We stopped by for a late breakfast and had the Queen’s Benedict which was great. Could have had cooked poached egg a little less but was great anyway. Cinnamon French Toast was good. Kids menu pancakes (not pictured) were just alright. With outside temperatures being so hot Meli’s place felt nice a cool. However, my young grandson thought the restaurant was way too cold and was uncomfortable to finishing eating. We also thought it was on cooler side but to some that may be refreshing coming out from these high 90’s temp. Our server was tentative and great. They have lunch items on their menu as well. Would recommend.
We all liked the food but it took them quite while (40ish minutes) to get our food out, but the place was pretty full. I was very happy with the Midwestern skillet and pancakes. The other two with me had the Southwestern skillet, biscuits and gravy and pancakes. They enjoyed their choices as well.

A burger cooked in a flame with crinkle cut french fries cooked perfectly. Toasted bun and quality condiments. A very reasonable price in a clean bar with a nice staff. I would recommend them for a classic burger and fries dinning experience at reasonable prices.
It's a small bar. Has some slots and a pool table. Locals drunks could be the only down side. But again... Its a bar. Food was amazing tho. Had the steak and baked potato. Great with a cold beer.
Was expecting more of a restaurant type environment that's on me, but it's a pretty good size bar. They have the weirdest deep fryer that's entirely enclosed and spits the cooked food out the side into a tray. The bartender was great and friendly, and despite burning my mouth a bit on the jalapeños poppers i could still tell the food was great, definitely on my list of places to go again.

Our server was friendly and attentive. The food came out hot and tasted delicious! The seating area is in another room from the long bar. The tables and chairs seemed like they could be updated but were comfortable. The food tasted like it was all freshly prepared and not frozen (I.e. the chicken tenders tasted and felt like real strips of chicken breast that were cut, buttered and then fried). The salad was an awesome size! Overall prices seemed appropriate for the quality and quantity. Would recommend and will be back.
I’ve been a semi-regular customer of Bent River since I first discovered it back in 2020 when I first moved here to the QC (Moline) from Kansas. They’ve got a very unique craft beer menu which is always changing but my favorite choice of craft beer whenever I stop by - is always the Jalapeño Ale It’s a cold December day and just PERFECT for such a combination of Spicy beer and Hot Chili! Staff are always friendly, service is always fast! You’re ever in the QC, can’t leave without trying Bent River!
Unfortunately, has to lose one star right off the bat, because we went in on a Saturday at 3:30 and they were out of brisket, which is what we went for and removes a substantial portion of their menu. Great beer. Since they were out of brisket, we had the breaded Pork Tendy sandwich and the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich, both of which were good. Nice crisp French fries. It is scary though that a brewpub with great beer can top that with it's brisket (WHEN AVAILABLE), the best juicy brisket I have had. The Mikey sandwich is INCREDIBLE.

Wonderful restaurant with a very old-school type of charm. The food is very good, with lots of options from burgers of the economic side to the "beef and reef" for those who want to spend a little more. I ordered the pork loin chops with garlic mashed potatoes and French onion soup. Got an order of crab cakes as an appetizer, which were very tasty! My date and I took a seat at the bar as we waited for our table. A modest selection of beers, wines, and spirits were available. I had the "Bikini Bottom" ale, which was perfect. I'm definitely returning to try the meatloaf!
Great service. All the food was good, with a good presentation. They make their own breaded Pork Tenderloins, not out of a frozen box. Good portion sizes of everything. They have really improved from the last time I stopped there.
Still one of my absolute favorite places to go ever since I was a kid and I’m now 30! I’ve tried so many French onion soups around the US and nothing is better than Miss Mamies. I miss the old decor though. It used to look more upscale but the new revamp makes it look business casual. I miss that old school fine dining look. I wish they wouldn’t have changed it.

Stayed up the street from this place and went 2 days in a row. Our server was everything!! He helped us and it seemed like he was our friend. Loved his energy and that's what bought us back with 5 more people the next day. The food was good and the service was fast.
The service was good and the food was excellent! I was craving a burger so I decided to try the PB&J burger with garlic Parm fries. It was a perfect mix of sweet and savory with bacon and a pretzel bun. My husband was going to get nachos but the taco salad listed Spanish rice as an ingredient. We don't see rice often on taco salads and it did not disappoint! We'll definitely be going back!
Portion is definitely worth the price. It's a great spot in Downtown Moline and had the "Cheers" atmosphere. Service is usually great and attentive and friendly. One of our favorite places for Fish and Chips.

Really great spot for high-end food! I met a co-worker here who flew in for the night and we were extremely impressed. Doesn't look like much from the outside but don't let that fool you! Fly into this joint and don't hesitate!!
Passing though the area and stopped here on a whim because it was close to our hotel. So glad we did! This place is amazing! Large portions, homemade, flavorful, and a salad bar! The pork chops are downright gourmet eats! The young man who waited on us was great! Hope to come back again!
Our first visit to Aircraft Grill was super, with great food and service for our party of 7 on a Friday evening for dinner. My wife and I tried the sampler that included pulled pork, brisket, and ribs, and I honestly can’t say which I liked the most because they were all mouth-watering good! We got two sides of mashed potatoes and corn bread, which were also very yummy. The waitress was very attentive and pleasant, and the owner even stopped by to see how we were doing. We will definitely be coming back! EDIT DEC 2024: we’ve been back many times since my initial review and have always had great food and service! We REALLY like the salad bar and soups. YUM!

Exceeded our expectations. The Caesar salad was wonderful. I’m going to recommend the cauliflower au gratin. It was truly one of a kind. The bread and butter delicious our steaks were perfect. I would recommend the dry aged steak. Our server Larry was out of this world and the wine was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is perfect. I highly recommend it for any occasion.
My Saturday night dinner was wonderful. The food was among the best I've ever had - the filet mignon. My waiter, Larry, a lovely gentleman was a delight and his work was exceptional!
My partner made reservations to go to a nice dinner. The atmosphere was great but we didn’t get served for a good 10 minutes. Didn’t get our drinks until about 15 minutes later, after a table of 4 got there’s (they were seated after us). The wait staff was nice and pleasant. Spent $44 for a medium dry aged steak in which I’ve had better at on my grill. I ask for medium, and there was no pink seen. The bread, app, and soup was great. The salad had too much dressing and was over powering. Save your wallet some time and check out some other spots in the quad cities.

We came in last minute and after a very big rush it looks like. we order the memorial burger and steak and frites which were both delicious. Great new menu and amazing old fashions. Our server Lauren was very informational for the new menu and the Manager Jake talked to us about the wine and our night. Wish the bar had foot rest other than that. AMAZING!
This restaurant sits right next to the lobby of the axis hotel in downtown Moline Illinois. Came here with Modern Woodmen for a company dinner so there was a lot of us often a separate room. The service was very attentive by Anna Lisa. The food was quickly made came out fast very tasty a lot of good Options in terms of proteins and vegetables beverage price point is probably somewhere to $25-$40 per entry so definitely not cheap eating experience however I felt the portions and the quality of food match the cost despite being in a hotel had a very classy vibe to it I’m not an alcohol drinker, but a lot of people in my group did have some drinks and seem like they found them satisfactory I’d recommend this place and definitely when I’m back in town. Would be there again.
I went there for an anniversary dinner with my wife. The waitstaff was great but the atmosphere was something to be desired. Definitely not a place you’d want to go for a relaxing evening. It was very loud. The piano player was banging on the piano and the radio was still on despite the fact I told the waitress several times it was still on. The food was good but maybe not worth what we paid for it. I was definitely not stuffed after a $150 bill. We probably won’t make this a return spot.

Definitely one of the best places for wings! Great atmosphere and amazing drinks. The servers and bartenders are all amazing! Love the two volleyball Fields! And great bands!! I wouldn't recommend a burger( personal choice). They are small dry patties.
We love this place! They have the best homemade ranch! Our server was very kind and accommodating. We never had a dry drink. They have pitchers of draft beers. They have Pepsi products. They have two diet options. Diet Pepsi and diet mt.dew. It is a large bar. In the back they have a private room. Great for big gatherings. I had the grilled tenderloin. OMG it was delicious! The french fries are hand cut fresh. They have tons of TV's to watch all the sports. They also have clean restrooms.
I was looking for somewhere to relax after work - it's been a bit of a long week so far. I needed a drink and a nice sandwich, plus some time to decompress before returning home. Parkside seemed a good place to do both for where I was at the moment. Not but a few blocks from the I-74 bridge, it was right off of my route at the time to return home. The interior is pretty much what I needed on this sleepy Tuesday night. The place is pretty dark - not much more than a few suspended light fixtures over the dining area and bar, some neon beer signs, and the light from the numerous flat screen TVs. A long, worn, wooden bar stretches the length of the interior, with beer taps and bottles of liquor behind. The floor is covered by dark-patterned 2-foot square carpet tiles, while the overhead is uncovered, leaving the unpainted or otherwise unfinished HVAC ductwork on prominent display for anyone glancing upward. A hallway past the kitchen and the bathrooms leads out to a currently unused patio and set of sand volleyball courts. I can imagine it would be really nice to sit out here in the warmer months with a beer, watching the sun set and feeling the temperature drop into the evening. Perhaps a return visit is in order in a few months? Actually, I'm pretty sure a return visit is in order - I really liked the sandwich I got! I opted for the Italian - between the sausage, italian beef, cheese, and marinara, it was just what I needed tonight. The bread was soft, but had clearly spent a little bit of time on the grill with some butter, adding both additional flavor and texture. The sausage and beef were both tender, and the marinara had some sweetness to it, but was well balanced by its slight acidity. Definitely a sandwich I want to come back for again! I look forward to returning to Parkside in the warmer months to sit on the patio for a bit with another sandwich and drink. I really liked the quiet, laid-back vibe on this visit - this is something I could definitely use more of in my life. Thanks, Parkside!

If you like Italian food at very decent prices this is the place to go. The bread is awesome and their sauce is top notch. Love the family feast for a group. Don't forget the garlic and cinnamon bread that's made in house fresh! Been going there for years. Went today and had the pastrami. So yum....
The food is SO good, family atmosphere with very nice staff, and so affordable! At lunch we’re able to feed our family of 3 for $21 which is pretty impressive these days. All three of their types of bread taste amazing and their sauce is so sweet and delicious. Can’t recommend it enough for a family meal!
Grinders isn't a fancy place. But, neither are their prices. The food is great. Their sauce is very tasty. The cinnamon bread is amazing.

Went there for breakfast. Haven't been there in years. Danna was our server. Let me just tell you she was amazing! It was a Sunday after church and very busy. I never saw the bottom of my coffe cup! I drink a lot of coffee. She checked on us about 2 minutes after receiving our food. She was always smiling. I just can't say enough about her. Haven't had a server like her in a LONG time! On top of that the food was amazing!!! I will definitely be back. Danna better be there because I'm requesting her even if I have to wait for her section.
Great value for the price of the food. The fried zucchini was delicious and the ranch dressing was good. Most of the meals came with a side and choice of soup or salad with it so there was a ton of food. The restaurant itself may have all the original tables and chairs, which makes it nostalgic for my family as my mother went there with her grandparents when she was growing up. The portions were large, and they do have bakery items at the front that looked amazing.
Great food, Clean restaurant, friendly staff, the place feels so comfortable and kind of homey.

I've been here twice now. 100% no complaints about the staff or the actual location or the booths or tables or atmosphere. However, the food is all over the place. Last time I went my burger was good but my partners was not. And our sides were extra and expensive. This recent time my burger was great but I wasn't very hungry. And I'm glad. My partner ate their entire anytime burger. Their fries medley was old & overcooked. My Cesar salad was wilty with old lettuce. My partner then ended up being sickly thru the night and I'm very glad I only had a few bites because I had some issues but way less. and no I wasn't going to say anything at the restaurant. We didn't realize the food was gonna make us sick. We won't be back.
The atmosphere was welcoming. The staff was very accommodating and warm. I would call the food good, but it was still a letdown. Ordered the truffle burger. The flavor was strikingly close to a Hardee's Mushroom and Swiss. It was good, but for the price, it was lacking. The deviled eggs were just that. Pretty bland and nothing special about them. The cilantro lime coleslaw was the biggest disappointment though. The color was unappealing, and the taste was just off. Couldn't pin down what bothered me about it, be we didn't care for it. Huge props on their shakes though. The pics speak for themselves there. Massive ice cream dishes served very beautifully.
Great burgers and shakes. We had no wait to sit down on a Monday night. They big booths inside as well as a fully stocked bar. They also have a covered patio out back. I had a salmon BLT which was very good. Their fries were also yummy. They have these crazy shakes here too, it's enough to feed 4-5 people, so it was too much for just two of us to finish. The shakes are $16.70, they don't list that on the shake menu. Definitely pricy... Our server was very nice.

What a great find! We were in Illinois for the morning and before we left, we found LemonGrass Cafe for lunch. We all love Thai food and decided to try it out. The food was delicious! We ate the chicken potstickers too quickly, so no picture, but highly recommend. We shared the Pad Thai with Tofu and my friends shared the Pad Woon Sen with chicken. All super amazing and I wish this place was closer so I could go again. The Vietnamese coffee was also the best cup of coffee I had today (roadtrip)
The service was simply amazing. The food was better than average. The atmosphere was quaint and the restaurant was clean. Visited on a random Wednesday evening and everything was perfect.
From the greeting by the staff to the farewell, "Thank you so much," the place was very friendly and welcoming. We visited at the end of the lunch service, as the busy weekday working people headed back to work. We were impressed with the servers efficiency and incredible attention to cleanliness after every customer left. The food was very tasty. The green curry was advertised as spicy, and it definitely was. My wife had the Pad Thai which was good for someone who didn't want intensely spiced food. They serve many local craft beers. For those that are in a hurry this is a great stop, and if you have time to savor the flavors and the brews you will not be disappointed.

We had a wonderful time. We had a reservation for one of their private rooms. We had children with us. So we like to get a private room. Our server was great! He was very attentive. We never had to ask for a refill he was on it. We got two salads . One ranch and the other a vinaigrette. The bread service was fresh. I got a glass of Moscato, it was delicious. They do have a full bar and a nice selection of draft beer. They have Pepsi products. We asked for an espresso martini and they said they didn't have the ingredients to make one. I got the Italian combination. It had sirloin, chicken parmesan and noodles. I loved the mix of food. Also the food was cooked the way I asked. We were really impressed with the children's menu. The kids got ice cream sundaes for dessert. They loved it. It's a great place for a special occasion, or a great meal. I also enjoyed that they have A1 sauce.
This small group of friends from Rocky Class of '71 met for dinner on Friday the evening after Thanksgiving. It's always nice to get together and catch up during special occasions since several of us don't currently live in the QCA. What better place to gather than Johnny's Italian Steakhouse? I selected the prime rib, medium rare, from the menu. Each savory bite was ultimate perfection!
Food was excellent. Beef wellington was superb! Our waiter was amazing!

My colleagues and I were in town for a work thing and our our last night there we decided to have our dinner here. Best decision we made! Our server Betsy was amazing and did well with all 9 of us. Nothing was wrong everything was made perfect. It was like having a home cooked meal away from home. If I am ever back in town i will definitely be going back.

The food was phenomenal! The service was mediocre. The waitress was very friendly and I took that they were busy into account as well but I do feel like we didn’t get our food as quick as we should have nor our check or dessert. Her name was Nina. If she would have checked in a little more. I would’ve tipped more. But I still left $20 for her. Because I get it, & have served for 12 years. Sometimes the night just doesn’t flow as well as usual. As the pictures show, you could def tell my food was sitting for awhile before it was served to me. That’s the only thing I didn’t like. Crème brûlée tho…to die for 8/10 def recommend!
If your looking for a nice, supper club feel. Don't come here. To start tables are too big, blond wood gives off a cafeteria vibe. We ordered and all our food arrived like McDonald's. The waiter kept apologizing for the long wait. Drinks arrived after the salad, well after the appetizers. Drinks were warm. We asked to slow the order down, but that just meant the steaks and garlic mashed potatoes came cold. Upgraded to a Cescear salad. Way overdressed. No ambience, service very poor and steaks needed so much stuff on them to hide the fact they were poor cuts. Save your money and go elsewhere.

It was Memorial Day. It was super nice out. Half the city was closed for the holiday. I was in town for the day and wanted to grab some beers at a local brewery to celebrate the holiday and my birthday. We popped in to a fairly busy brewery and decided to sit out back in the patio area after deciding sitting inside was just too silly to do on such a beautiful day. Our waitress informed us after we sat down that there was an hour wait for food. Cassey and I decided to stay and wait. We picked out a few beers to get and were told that those kegs were tapped out. So we had to pick our 2nd or 3rd best option. Cassey got an Uncommon stout (I think) and I got the Mississippi Blonde. Before I got that, I did inquire about the Jalapeno Pepper ale and the waitress brought me a sample. I love me some Jalapeno and this was just like drinking jalapeno peppers. It was good but not something I wanted 16 ounces of. The Mississippi Blonde was good, if a bit light on flavor and weight. After a few beers and tons of conversations, we asked the waitress about food and were finally able to order an appetizer. We got some chips and dip to start with and then grabbed burgers once our waitress gave us the thumbs up that a meal was good to order. The chips and dip were pretty tasty. Normally I prefer salsa to queso for tortilla but once I tried the queso... I was in love. I don't know what they put in it but it was amazingly tasting. I grabbed just a basic plain burger with pepperjack cheese and french fries. Cassey got the patty melt with sweet potato fries, I think. After the long wait, the food was much needed and much welcomed. The french fries were extra crispy and how I typically like them. The burger itself was good if not a bit weird with the pretzel bun and I only cheese as a topping. Without lettuce or tomato to add some juice to the meat and bun, it was a bit dry but that's my own doing as that's how I... for some reason... ordered the burger. All that said, it was a very random day of dealing with small hiccups but with only chilling and hanging out on our schedule, it didn't derail how much we got to catch up and just shoot the breeze.
