Yum Yums is hands down one of the best spots! The food is absolutely delicious! Everything is made with care and tastes amazing.The people here are so down-to-earth and genuinely kind—it’s clear they care about their customers because I unfortunately left my purse behind and one of the ladies picked it up and held on to it for me until the next morning. I’m so thankful for her!! There are still kind people in this world

After reading the reviews this place did not disappoint. The food was excellent and the portions were very generous. Yum Yum lives up to its name, YUMMMMM

Went to go out with my friend, was greeted seated and got my got my drinks the “owner” or manager took our order dropped off our food and that was it didn’t ask if we needed anything else. Never got beverage refills and were ignored the entire time with tables being seated around us even when trying to ask for our check. Not one single check up. Food was VERY overpriced. HORRIBLE SERVICE!

You will like and also love it. So very clean.. Use your own phone QR scanner to see menu. Check your temperature just makes you feel safe as if you are at home without all the work.

I would have given this place 5 stars but they could not prepare a medium temp steak for some reason and the orange juice is from concentrate and has a terrible taste. Other than that the place is beautiful the presentation on the plates is really nice and the flavors are amazing. I will definitely be going back. So if you're looking for a nice place to take your loved ones for brunch I recommend that you bring them here. Enjoy...

We visited for brunch on a Sunday to celebrate a birthday. The restaurant was very nice and clean. We opted to sit outside, expecting the usual live two-man band, but they weren’t there. It was a hot afternoon, and not all the fans outside were on, so we turned one on, but it kept turning off. Needless to say, we were sweating. The waiter took a while to assist us and didn’t refill our water cups as often as we would have liked. We ordered a carafe of pineapple mimosas, which was delicious. Our food was very hot and delicious, and all the dishes were on point.

It was a long wait to be called, but we waited at outdoor table area and wait staff took our order before the hostess could even call us. Amazing service and delicious food. Had the chilaquiles with chicken and also the eggs Benedict with carnitas and it just melts in your mouth.

First time here and the service was really great. The mango mimosas were very good, however, I wish they had a pitcher but it’s all good. I got the Steak and Eggs and everything on the plate was cooked very well. Potatoes were seasoned well. It will be on my “Going back” list of restaurants I’ve been to while in RGV.

Visited here for the first time and loved it! Food was amazing. Great ambiance and service! Staff were very professional! And with prices going up everywhere, I thought their prices for a delicious entree was very reasonable. I give them an A+. We plan to be regulars and can’t wait to visit The Griffin Grill again! * I added an image of my meal. I was so excited I took a bite before the picture!

An excellent breakfast! I got the fried chicken and waffles, and not only was the food scrumptious, but the presentation was the nicest I'd seen locally! I also had an opportunity to try the chilaquiles. Great flavor, but the chips needed more crunch. Our service was great, the owner even answered our questions about a plant inside. Great place with good food and prices, will be returning.

My wife and I ordered a brisket burger with the tater tot casserole it was delicious. The brisket was tender and moist. My wife loved the casserole, she said it took to a warm comfort place. This place absolutely fills your graving for BBQ. The atmosphere is relaxing as if eating in a blue grass rock joint. Very welcoming and friendly place. Let’s not forget to praise that sweet tea and lemonade very refreshing. Will definitely be coming back more often!

Maybe I caught them on a bad evening? Seen this place on a few other foodie reviews. They had all high praises for The Drunk Chicken. That is why I made it a priority to try. I cannot remember the name of the tacos I ordered, but they are basically a chicken birria taco. They originally told me they were out of chicken, so I ordered brisket instead. When they brought it out, they said they “found” more chicken. Wanted rice and beans as my sides, but they were out of beans. So I got potato casserole instead. They have five gallon jugs with teas, lemonade, and kool-aid. There also is a salsa bar you can use. Honestly, everything was bland. Except the potato casserole was awesome. Everything else though was completely flavorless. Not sure why this place is popular. All the tables were dirty.

This was my first time, and the food was amazing!!! Staff was very friendly and helpful. The chicken was cooked to perfection and had great balanced smoke flavor. The sides were very good to and loved the flavor of the bbq sauce. Will definitely come back to try other meats

Finally got to visit after hearing so many good things about this restaurant. Food was delicious! Only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because the MAIN reason I went was because I was told they have the BEST fried mushrooms so when I was told they were sold out for the night I was soooo disappointed ☹️ I will go again though but next time I’m going to call and make sure they have those mushrooms ‍ . Our server was very polite and the live music was great. Prices are awesome and they have specials everyday.

Short wait time to be seated but it was well worth the wait, our server Rachel was on point, polite and very attentive. Food was fresh, coffee was excellent. Had a Texas sunrise burger it was great! Recommend this restaurant 100%

Usually very pleasant service and decent wait times. The only criticism I'd say is the super greens were bordering raw and I'm not sure if they're supposed to come with a white sauce, but my super greens were completely plain. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong but those veggies could have used just another minute to cook. I definitely don't mind a wait at all if it's done correctly.

2nd time my chicken is undercooked. I am pregnant and can’t consume undercooked food. Please cook your food properly. This is disgusting.

Mission Olive Garden We had lunch with our guest and our witnesses Veronica was amazing.. I didn’t have any idea what I want to eat. she suggested a delicious soup and lunch meal for me and my guest knew what they wanted .. She never let our drinks go empty and ensured us she was there to serve us .. She did that with a beautiful smile and lot of friendly manner.. She got a very nice tip from me for she deserved it. I was so mother I even picked up the phone and spoke to her mgr.. Thank you Veronica for making or lunch a very pleasant one. Photo was not taken there, but that all of us that had lunch together.. Staff were very unprofessional and rude, specially the Manager. We went on 12/4/24 at 6 P.M and the manager refused to sit us down because our party of 10 was “too big for a single waiter”… meanwhile he passed 4 separate families that arrived after us and had us waiting for an hour outside. The Manager did not care about our complaints and ended up telling us to leave if we didn’t want to wait (restaurant was not full, Manager was just lazy), he also refused to acknowledge my family members who were speaking Spanish even though he we heard him speaking Spanish to the other staff. The Staff in the Mcallen location are way better and much more courteous, safe to say I will not return to this terrible place.

Love everything here, but the service is slow! I've been here twice during the week and on a Saturday and be prepared to be waiting for a good 40 minutes to an hour before being served. They take forever to bring you the salad and brewadsticks. By the time the main dish comes out, you're stuffed! Lol! Since it's new I. Thinking they are not prepared as other places.

A really interesting restaurant, a lot of signs about seniors with friendly humor. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros here, and for $7.99 you get 2 eggs, refried beans and potatoes (the bacon was $2.99 extra). The eggs weren't cooked over medium, the salsa for the eggs was slightly spicy but tasty, the refried beans were good, the potatoes were hot but bland, the bacon was very flavorful. The menudo was okay but it wasn't served hot. Overall an okay Restaurant, the gentleman cook, cashier and server was very friendly and cheerful, our server was no where to be found at times making the service slow

This is a great option for home style meals, especially during lunch hour. I had seen their lunch bowls for quite a while and each looked hearty, filling, and tasty. I went and ordered their enchilada bowl for lunch. I was lucky...I didn't realize they close early and got there about 15 mins prior to close but they still took my order. The gent up front was very helpful and apologized for not being able to get seated... however he was apologetic about it. When I told him how I had heard about the place...he even gave me a card where I can get a bowl free on my next visit with the purchase of a drink. Already won me over! The bowl itself...each part complemented the other. How can you go wrong with rice, beans, ground beef, cheese...all you want to do is mix that all together and dig in! The bowl was piping hot. Other places sell bowls and each part is already made...so when they put it together it is lukewarm. I got home and it was still nice and hot. The food itself tasted just like my mother made it...loved it. If you are in the area...highly recommend you stop by and try one of their bowls...

To say this is one of the classiest places in the Area is an understatement. This restaurant is truly a great place to dine. The food is very delicious, the service and servers are very professional and treat the customers as they would their family. Jean Carlos was our server and he was very helpful with recommendations on the menu and he was great.

Great service, great food. The atmosphere is quiet, classy, white tablecloths with a live pianist occasionally. Great for a date and a chat.

Took my wife out for her birthday breakfast and it was delicious. The server and staff were very friendly and encouraging to her for her birthday. The sauteed steak tips were very tender with incredible marinated flavor. And the birthday ice cream treat with vanilla coffee poured over the ice cream was amazing. The only complaint is the very old a/c ceiling leaking water onto tables.

First time here. The chicken sandwich was delicious. Asked for grilled chicken instead, very tasty. The server, Letty, was very friendly and stayed on top of our drinks. We got our food quickly. Waffles were very good, too.

Wow! It's been years I step inside a Chilli's restaurant. I enjoyed dining with my kids. The kids played games in the tablet displayed on the table. I enjoyed a veggie burger and my kids enjoyed a bacon hamburger. The purpose of going was to eat a chocolate ice cream malt. It was delicious. Our waiter was great and quick service. Thank you, for making our day.

We enjoyed our dinner and drinks. Just the wild children running around was a bit annoying but after asking their parents to settle them down, it was a pleasant evening over all

Update: the nachos were completely different than normal nachos, but tasty. The Big Mouth Bites were delicious and juicy with the guacamole addition. The Alex Santa Fe burger was cooked perfect, spicy and full of flavor.

I usually always get amazing customer service at chick-fil-a. It’s one of the reasons I come and the food is so so good. This location however always is rude terrible customer service I don’t know if it’s a management issue but seriously? I got the wrong order; I had ordered 8 nuggets and I received the chicken tenders. I assume it’s their policy to take the food item that they messed up but the way the man who took it off my tray was so rude he snatched it and was ugly about it. What do they even do to the tenders?? I had already touched. It do they sell it to other customers I don’t know. Either way terrible service terrible experience waste of money and time. I live closer to this location and I’d rather drive to another location than deal with these people.

Make sure you check your bags before you leave when ordering through drive thru. We purchased two chicken sandwich combos and both fries that come w combo were not in the bag. we were sooo disappointed cuz that’s like the best part

In town for a few days , picked up breakfast there. It was so yummy, when taking my order the employee was really nice and read back my order . When given my food that employee was nice and re read me my order! Both did amazing and the food was given to me under 1min I believe .

Our waitress was very kind and helpful as their menus aren't in English, but they have pictures and you can tell what you're ordering. The food and service were excellent, and I would definitely go back! They even made a special birthday message on my plate!

Waitress was very nice. Took our order and food came out in 10 minutes. Strawberry lemonade was so good. Really nice place. I enjoyed it. Food was delicious.

Never fails to amaze me! I love coming here! The food is amazingly creative and the presentation is so pretty. Our server is very friendly and accommodating. The place is cozy and small, but everyone dining there seems to be enjoying their time. It's a good place to dine for breakfast and lunch, even dinner, and I definitely recommend it for friends and family.

Food is always good. Best mexican/BBQ place in this area. Food served quickly and always leaves me satisfied. I would have to say the best peach cobbler I've ever tasted.

Had the fish tacos yesterday. They were delicious. My husband had the catfish platter and was very happy with it as well. We had our leftovers today, still raving how good it was. Even after reheating.

Really good experience here. Support local. They did an incredible job renovating the space so nice inside. And really good authentic Indian food. The garlic Naan is so delicious. The butter chicken though I will say was a watery, but taste wise, was great. A nice dessert would have been good to add to the buffet but I was too full to eat anything today anyways.

We tried takeout from Maharaja this evening, and enjoyed it. The naan was great, the rice was perfect, and the butter chicken was quite good. We definitely liked it better than the other local place we have tried, because Maharaja doesn't make the butter chicken as sweet as the other place (where we find the sweetness over the top). Maharaja was also much more generous with the amount of chicken in each order. My husband picked up the order and said the location is quite nice. We will have try eating in sometime as well!

GET THE WINGS. Sticky, sweet, with a little bit of heat. This place is phenomenal and we will make another stop when we visit mission again! They were also courteous enough to help us near closing time. Great family owned business that makes top quality food to eat in or to go!

This the first time we have been to the restaurant since it moved. And this is NOT the same Embers it used to be. It may be the same name, but the food is completely different. The burgers were pre made patties with some sort of filler, perhaps they were Costco patties? They are no longer on homemade buns or home made wraps like still advertised in the menu. The staff was super friendly when we came to pick up tho, they are are not lacking there. Unfortunately we will not be returning here again as I would say the food is equal to a cafeteria style serving now.

We love going to Embers! The service and food is always exceptional and they have a nice little patio as well. If you are looking for the tastiest BBQ food in mission you have to try this place

I came to this restaurant before when it was called Rockwells and I did not like the food or the service back then. Now known as Five Forks, I came for dinner and had an excellent experience eating there. The waitress was very nice and showed great gaiety in serving me. I order the Lobster Mac & Cheese, which was their chef's special and their Blue Hawaiian cocktail. The Blue Hawaiian was very good and can taste the Malibu Rum and Blue Curacao in it. The mac and cheese exceeded my taste buds in how good it was. The entree has a nice gooey consistence from the cheese was baked, while the alfredo sauce was so flavoursome, and they make the sauce from scratch too. Despite the name, you are given one lobster tail for the mac and cheese, however the lobster was still great, especially when it is paired with the macaroni and cheese. It came with garlic toast too that I enjoyed. When I came there again, I ordered from their Brunch menu. I ordered their Forks Breakfast Bowl with coffee. Then entree tasted great overall; the rice tasted excellent, especially when paired with the hollandaise and salsa sauces. The coffee was good, not the best though. The interior design of the restaurant looks very high-class and clean as well. Because this is a large restaurant, there are different sections for you to dine at and the waiter would ask where you like to sit at. But I still recommend anyone to come and eat there during anytime of the day.

Nice restaurant with decent food and great customer service. Casey and her fellow waitress efficiently and effectively handled a large party of over 40 hungry athletes and parents for dinner. Ordered the chicken and waffles and food arrived in a reasonable time frame. Everything went very smoothly. Great job!

We did take out supper for the family tonight, what a mistake. Our butter chicken came without the bread so basically we paid $26.00 for a cup rice and 6 pieces of chicken in a mediocre sauce. I had the spaghetti which tasted like it was from a tin, my meal was also missing the garlic bread. The kids had the chicken strips which were tiny but had a ton of fries. I wouldn’t return or recommend this place.

Eleni’s is a great Greek restaurant. The establishment is sophisticated and has low lighting, something I like in any restaurant. The workers are professional and courteous. The food is magnificent and comes in great portions. I would recommend the Kalamari Caesar Salad, the Hunter Schnitzel and the Oscar-style Steak. My only issue with this restaurant is that they are no longer open for lunch. Besides that, I highly recommend anyone who loves Greek food.

Great food, our server was friendly, informative and professional. It was my sister and niece's birthday and the staff brought out a delicious Greek dessert. It was a pudding made from a secret recipe. It was delicious. We will definitely be going back. I highly recommend this restaurant

We arrived at about 5:30 pm on a Saturday. Lots of street parking out front. Was busy-ish, no reservation, seated promptly. Server was courteous and consistently popped by to see to our needs. The restaurant hasn’t changed much over the years but still looks good and is a comfortable place to eat. We ordered the seafood linguini with a Greek salad to start. The salad was fresh, crunchy and so delicious, as well as a really good portion. The linguini came with two pieces of fresh but crispy garlic toast and a mountain of shrimp, prawn and scallops. Lovely creamy sauce and the pasta was just right. Neither one of us finished it as it was a large portion, so leftovers for lunch tomorrow, yum. The only thing I will say, is the prices seem to have really crept up. While I didn’t feel taken advantage of, I didn’t feel like “what a great deal”. Having said that, we did take both entree leftovers home. It’s delicious food, it’s good service and a decent value. The Greek side of the menu is small, and they do serve everything from burgers to bbq. They have a kids and seniors section too. A great family restaurant that still won’t break the bank.

We had a family dinner here, and we really enjoyed ourselves. From the quality of food, and the exceptional service we were given by Jenna and Danika. We will want to be back more often.

***Edit*** in order to respond to management reply. NO, u are incorrect. Piper, if that is who's taking responsibility, did not have a note pad when she took our orders. In fact, I even mentioned, "Are u sure u can remember everyone's orders, & another waitress was also assisting. Neither wrote anything down at our table, otherwise why would she need to come back to our table 3X to say "I'm sorry, but what did u order, or your meal comes with, sry forget to ask u, here are your choices" There were several other things, I did not mention in review, because telling potential customers our waitress had to be asked 2x for our granddaughters chocolate milk, & forgotten strawberries & whip cream, toast ...I felt could be left out, but since excues are being made by u, I will include this in my edit. Also, admitting that your staff overcharged us gratuity & not doing the right thing to rectify that is great for business, I bet, in addition to staff not being properly trained on that end of things. Not to mention, staff telling potential customers wanting the buffet, who were wanting to make Mother's day reservations that YES your restaurant WAS doing Mother's day buffet & it was never the plan....terrible! We chatted with several others waiting in line who were also told the same thing, only to arrive to no buffet, some even leaving when they found out...so your staff clearly dropped the ball. We spent well over $200 at your establishment that day & all u do is defend staff mistakes, lie about what really happened, not offer any form of rectification for the overcharge which could technically be classifiedas theft & fraud! Then u say u look forward to serving us again? We will not ever come back to this restaurant. Unethical behavior by management 100% that should be reported, which my husband will likely be addressing! I hope those who read this review make sure if they do go to your restaurant, that they carefully look over their bill BEFORE paying, so they too don't get their hard earned $ taken, so it can go into your employees pockets. I can't even imagine how many other tables Piper has done this too...terrible Honest mistake? Then management should offer the customer nothing less than :let us make it right:...end of story. That is ethical & professional customer service, not how u handled things. I am now changing my * to 1 VERY DISAPPOINTED today. We called last week & asked if they would be doing Mother's Day buffet & were told "Yes," so we reserved a table for 8. 6 adults, 2 children. Only to discover once arriving, they did NOT have a buffet at all. We should have left right then, but obviously at that point with everyone being hungry & most other places likely booked, we stayed. Waitress was ok, & she chose not to write our orders down, so she had to come back several times to ask what we ordered again, forgetting several items as well. A few people at the table had issues with their meals. (not enough to complain) I asked for no powdered sugar on my bread, but it was on it. At the end of our meals, waitress brought our 5 separate bills. At that time, we were slammed with the reality that there was an automatic 15% gratuity added to each of our individual bills. That angered several people at our table. #1. Tipping should not be forced upon anyone. A tip is earned by hard work. A tip is a customer's way of expressing appreciation for the effort the staff made to please you. An expectation, absolutely, but certainly not mandatory. So, to force that upon a customer is rude. Also, some of our guests were single & still forced to pay the 15% gratuity without feeling they received a proper meal or service, not to mention, unaware of other guests also coming, so that upset them. 2. Our table should have been told this BEFORE ordering, not once she brought our bills to the table. That is what upset me. I'm always a generous tipper, but I would agree, I don't like feeling as though I'm being forced to tip. It's not right, especially if the staff did not earn it.

We arrived and were seated relatively quickly and served coffee. The waitress took a long time to take our order, and we waited for 45 min for our dinners. The waitress or hostess didn’t come back in all that time to top up coffee or water. The food tasted really good, but within my first few bites, I bit on a plastic bread tag! They gave me a choice of a new dinner, which I declined, and the waitress said they would take my meal off the bill. I had grab my own water during our meal. It was also very cold in the restaurant. Ricky’s please train your staff better!
