I got the Big Burrito and it was delicious. It was my first time eating there ...delivered by door dasher Liz.. who was very quick and friendly . Hope you enjoy the photos!

Never once had a problem here. Ever. Food has always been top notch and the staff have always been very friendly and easy to get along with.

My favourite restaurant in Miramichi. Service is excellent and very personable. The best nachos and tacos in New Brunswick found here!

A couple colleagues and I went for lunch as we passed through town this afternoon. This was a mistake. I will preface this by saying I’m easy to please, and have never taken the time to write a Google review in my life. What I experienced here was exceptionally terrible service, ambience and food. When we arrived, I immediately noticed the atmosphere to be a little grimy. The fish tank was poorly kept, in need of a clean and water top up (or change). There were two other tables seated at this time. Once we were seated, our server took 10 minutes to come to our table. At this point we ordered both our food and drinks. Our fountain drinks arrived 10 minutes later and my appetizer shortly after. The appetizer was mediocre but acceptable. We then proceeded to wait 40+ minutes for our mains. When this was brought to the attention of another server (ours disappeared after the drinks arrived) she was profusely apologetic and went to check on it. We waited another 15 minutes before being notified by our original server “our food was ready and just going in the oven” -whatever that meant; along with an odd series of excuses. We waited another 10 minutes before getting up to stand at the bar to pay our bills and leave. Our original server came out to insist that we waited for the food that at this point had taken almost an hour to be served. She promised it would be coming right out. We obliged and paid our 15% discounted bills. Then we waited 10 more minutes. The other server was again very apologetic. Our food eventually came out in takeout boxes. One order only came with half a side of fries. Both sandwiches involved what I can only describe as mess of soggy bread, and a borderline inedible, charcoal flavoured chopped steak. My sympathies to the nice young woman cursed to work at this train wreck of a “restaurant” 0/10.

I love the jungle, great owners, clean, well decorated. Cost atmosphere. Service is always great and prices are average. Update: went for supper, had a number of items, the maple wings are the best i have ever tried. All the food was fresh, tasty and great quality. It keeps getting better and better.

Passing through Miramichi on our way back to Halifax for the weekend after a week's worth of projects throughout NB, honestly was thinking of going to Harvey's across the street but figured we would spend abit of time sitting down relaxing before the drive, this was anything but that I will preface this with this restaurant not being exceptionally busy in the least, when we arrived we were the third table, 4-6 people at each and we are a party of 3. Our waitress didn't come to take drink orders for 10 minutes the drinks (all sodas) took another 5 to come out one person ordered and appetizer that came 20 minutes later, altogether we went to walk out around the 50 minute mark, our waitress told us our food was ready and would be out shortly, it was not and had we known that we would not have paid and continued to walk out but instead it was insisted we paid and waited again for our food, as we were reasonably agitated another server came and was profusely apologizing and was very kind but the food did not come for another 20 minutes. We were not going to dine and dash as that would mean we would have needed to dine, we were looking to cancel our orders, all in all a very unpleasant experience.

Service was quick, and there was lots of seating. We had sushi platters. A platter includes a miso soup and three pieces of tempura. I think we will try from the Korean menu on the next visit.

Awesome, service from both Misty and Lesleigh. Thank you Misty for the suggestions. And dang, good taste in earrings lead to common roots in my home community. Try the Volcano. Omg. The Sushi here is awesome. I will be stopping again.

My girfriend and I did see on Google Maps that the Pub offers Sushi. My first tought was: "Sushi in a pub? That can't possibly be good." But the reviews were all pretty good, we decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. The sushi was actually really good. The service was friendly and the prices are reasonable. Especially as the price for a sushi roll includes a Miso-soup with a fried shrimp, fried sweet-potato and a veggie dumpling. Also all the other plates served at the tables around us looked pretty good.

Been there several times now for breakfast, food is always exactly as it should be. Fast and friendly service, with multiple stops to fill up for coffee. Fresh bread is awesome! Will be back again!

I, regretfully, must change my review after the painfully bad experience we had on our 3rd visit where we decided to try lunch. Both my soup (small bowl of chowder) and lobster sandwich were no good... Not only did I get charged $9 for a $4.95 soup (price according to the menu), but the $15 sandwich for some reason ended up at $17 and was pathetic in portion size on run of the mill grocery store bread... It was tiny and I left feeling ripped off big time. The soup flavour was great, but the price and portion were severely lacking. I could shrug that off but then my fiance ordered a cheeseburger with fries and the fries were limp and not tasty, passable as best but even fast food would have been better... The server asked if she wanted the works and my fiance said yes but no pickle or relish... So her CHEESEburger came with literally ONLY relish, no cheese even! The flavour, size and overall presentation of her meal was not good across the board. Normally we would have spoken up about the multiple issues but we didn't have time due to an impending appointment, but especially since the service was going at about half speed despite it not being very busy at all. 1st visit: Very good breakfast, can't wait to come back and try out their lunch stuff. Phenomenal service too! 2nd visit: We came back for breakfast again, after we have tried almost all other restaurants serving full breakfasts in town, and concluded that Goodie shop does the best coffee and sunny side up eggs. Service was great again, and super fast since it wasn't as busy this time around. Noticed the part of the menu for breakfast buffet on weekends so going to have to try that out soon too

We used to love this place for breakfast. I have recently found a older bookstore like smell in the place, which takes away from the overall feel. We will still go there though!

Kind of a different type of review as we ordered from there on new years eve. Called ahead to see the wait time and was told 25 minutes for take out, ended up being 55 minutes or so. They place is very small and cramped and like most Chinese food restaurants needs some updating for sure. The staff is very friendly here and very patient. Food is subpar Chinese food at best. Food was lukewarm and not a whole bunch of flavor. Definitely better choices in miramichi.

I ordered here about 2 years ago; ordered chow mein & got chop suey. It was good but I didn't go back out of fear. Today, we ordered a dinner for 3, wontons & extra egg rolls. Wow, it was so good! The ribs fell off the bone, chop suey was so tasty and the wontons had an amazing crunch. Overall, such good food for a great price. My husband's picky and he said 2nd best Chinese food in Miramichi.

VERY overpriced, small portions. My "spicy" Szechuan was sweet and mild. Two sandwich-sized plates of Szechuan (one beef, one shrimp) plus a small bowl of $4.50 steamed rice (see pic) and one can of pop cost almost $50 before tip and we left still hungry.

A solid dinner choice and worked well for us staying in the hotel. We sat on the patio on a beautiful evening so the view couldn’t be better. The food was solid - not spectacular. Service is hard to rate - our servers and everyone we interacted with were lovely but it did take a loooong time to get our meals. That seems to be an ongoing challenge here so it was not unexpected and we weren’t in a rush but it wouldn’t be somewhere to eat if you were.

Great place with a beautiful view. Perfect for having some nice and relaxing time with your loved ones. The attention is fantastic and the food is very good too. Totally recommend.

You come to a restaurant, and they kick you out because everything is booked. The waiters don't even pay attention to you, they are waiting for you to go around all the tables yourself and leave here. But the eyes see only 3-4 occupied tables. Others have "reserved" signs. Very unpleasant feeling. The photo is very illustrative. See full house? I don't either...

I stopped there on my way home this afternoon and it smelled amazing in the shop the minute I came in, super friendly, big smiles and lots of laughter!!! I ordered one the Filipino meals with noodles spring rolls and dumplings, super flavourful and very fresh. If you want fresh authentic food please check these guys out.... 100% worth it!!!! It smelled so good when I got in the car I couldn't leave the parking lot until I had a bite of everything!!!

Great donairs, even better Filipino cuisine! Highly recommend the pork adobo and lechon kawaii! The lechon kawaii is so good when dipped in the adobo sauce! Pancit also excellent. The interior is pretty basic, but it's made warm and cozy by Julieta's smile and friendly service! By all means, order their donairs, but don't sleep on their phenomenal Filipino cuisine!!!

The service and food are always great at this family business gem. It is an excellent addition to the Miramichi cuisine. We have been trying different things from their menu and so far we have enjoyed each of them! Their recent addition to the menu, the fried pork pieces, are delicious and like nothing you can find in the area.

The food was delicious. They had a wonderful menu . We are always looking for seafood when we travel . The clams were light and crispy . The fish and chips were good .l liked the fact they offered 2/3/4 pieces of fish . My order was a small fish and chips( homemade chips ) everything was hot. The gravy was the only thing that wasn't a 5 .

Really enjoyed our meals here! Clean and cozy atmosphere, excellent food, big portions and fair prices. Highly recommend the lobster club sandwich! Right off the highway and worth the stop!

We spent a couple weeks touring the east coast and voted them best seafood chowder. We tried many but nothing compares to what they had. I want to come back so bad.

Lunch Order today … I got the Darcy’s Deadly and a Ceasar Salad . Ordered at 2:08 pm and was ready at 2:25 pm. ( they wernt very busy at this time ). Very quick !!! Also food was cooked fresh. Fresh bun , veggies and chicken . Salad is always awesome . Very consistent. Happy staff . And the Owner was even there to greet me with a smile and laugh also. Very pleased. Will go again .

Had breakfast here with a large group. Breakfast came out very fast and had a great selection. Everyone was happy with their selections. I had the Eggs Benedict. They were good. Not the best I've ever had but overall no complaints! Our server was great and prompt and checked in often.

Always a fun place where you will find the locals hanging out! Go Timberwolves! Great food, friendly top-notch service, great food and lively atmosphere! Often have live music too!

I recently tried breakfast here for the first time and ordered the steak and eggs. The eggs were perfectly cooked—some of the best I’ve ever had at a restaurant—and the steak was thick, juicy, and fresh with a fantastic spice blend. Everyone in my group enjoyed their meals as well. The atmosphere isn’t the flashiest compared to other spots, but it has a great classic diner vibe, and the quality of the food makes it worthwhile. I’d definitely recommend it for breakfast.

Great price for great portions, not THE best breakfast in town but pretty high up there. Looking forward to trying lunch and supper too

1.5 hours for breakfast, waitress cluless serving people who came in after and not even thinking to check on our food. Waited a while before speaking up(dropped hints with the coffee refills) When I finally got fed up and asked her where the food was, she blatantly lied and said the kitchen was really busy and had new employees......she forgot to put in the order or they lost it ....own up to it don't lie, we watched people leave that came in 30 mins after we did !!! Breakfast was good when finally arrived.

Great breakfast. Only 4 stars on food due to coffee being OK, it was drinkable but would like a bit better quality. Everything else was great.

We went there last week for family dinner. We were seated right away, waitress was friendly. We ordered 1 Lobster roll, 1 Lobster wrap, and 1 hot turkey dinner and 3 milkshakes. 1st off the inside had a nice painting of local attire. The seats were worned out in need of new ones. The Lobster roll was average came with onion rings, the Lobster wrap seemed to be the better deal, portions was more, more filling. The Hot Turkey dinner was a disappointment, mash potatoes was tasteless no seasoning at all, no gravy on potatoes. Vegetables were from a can, not fresh and tasted horrible did not eat the potatoes or Vegetables. The Milkshakes were the best thing we had. This restaurant is a average family owned restaurant and we will not be returning due to the canned vegetables. A big no no in the restaurant business.

The reservation was useless. We made a 2 day prior booking to celebrate the graduation of our friends, gave our orders too during the reservation. We were told that we can come to the resto at 1pm but the food will be served at 1:30pm. 2:21pm as of writing, and no food has been served yet. We only got tap water as a complimentary service. We already bought some food from the outside to cover our hunger. Worst lunch celebration we have had. + My wife gave to me the remaining of the Angus beef burger that she ordered and to my surprise, there was only the cheese, patty, and the bacon in the bun. There was no mayo, lettuce, tomato on all the burgers that we ordered. After we informed the staff, we were just given plates of the missing ingredients.

We arrived at the pub and were immediately seated. The ambiance was wonderful and the restaurant was mostly filled but not loud at all. Our server was fantastic and so helpful! We really enjoyed being served by her. The fish and chips was the best we've had outside Northern England and the servings were more than adequate. We would definitely return the next time we're in Miramichi. Excellent experience!

Our lunch was superb, fresh made soup & sandwich was delicious. Service is friendly & helpful, we definitely recommend.

This Dixie Lee restaurant is the best in the area but the restaurant is really run down and old but it looks like our Dixie Lee’s in my area back in the day! Poutine was perfect, the sauce is hot and tastes good! Ambiance is the worst I ever seen in my life looks like a 90s or early 2000s sit down restaurant but people like the style of old fashioned restaurants including me but this one is really run down. I still recommend this restaurant because it has the best poutine in the Miramichi area! Only thing is when I was there they only speak English which is no problem for me! I’m a native French speaker but I can read, speak and write English like a native English! I will go again

First time to eat here. I find their fries delicious than McDonald's and burgerking, fish dinner is also my favorite here. Good ambience to eat. I hope they could improve their menu signages.

The chicken was great and food was hot. But they need to put some condiments and utensils out in the dining room. Unless maybe they have a problem with people taking them. And a little music playing in the dining room wouldn't hurt. There were 4 or five families in there and it was quiet enough to hear a pin drop. Awkward. But ya just suggestions,they got the food part down so just spruce the place up a bit. That's my two cents worth. But I will definitely come back next time I'm in town

Went there Today , Not Bad , But The prices are way to High for a small portion, The Somusa were to hard to eat. Stuffs were amazing though. Next time ?? I would say 50/50.

One of the best spots for Indian food I've had in a long time. The food is great but only dine in. Do not get take out. You're pressured to pay and tip before you get your food. They more often then not miss items you've ordered and paid for. It's frustrating to get home and one of your meals is missing. There's a male staff who likes to interrupt conversations about the issues and he plays tough guy and escalates things instead of helping the situation. He lacks the proper customer service skills and doesn't seem to care. I'll never order from this restaurant again.

Ate here for the first time today and was blown away! We ordered the chicken tikka masala, and the chicken curry with butter naan. The food was incredible, hardly any wait at all and our server was wonderful. We were pleasantly shocked to see our total for everything including a pop and a draught beer was less than $60. Will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone.
