Best Restaurants Open for Newyears Eve this year in Minnedosa – 2024

Loved this place! They have some of the freshest and most delicious sandwiches in the province. Easily! I had the turkey sandwich with caesar salad and it was faultless. The bread was the right kind of crispy with lovely turkey and fresh lettuce and sauce. The salad was perfect. I wasn’t expecting it to be this good. The staff are friendly and service is fast. The place has an old school classical decor and it’s quite nice. But be ready to pay good money for the whole experience. I felt the price was quite high though the quality is top notch. Definitely try this if you’re looking for quality food and willing to spend the big bucks.

Great place. Definitely has the farmhouse vibe. The bacon blueberry panini and Caesar salad side was excellent. Caramelized onion, smoky Gouda, blueberry chutney…fabulous combination on grilled and tender focaccia. The servers were very nice.

We are living in Winnipeg. Anytime you are heading to Riding Mountain National Park or diving back home we stop by Farmhouse 50 in Minnesosa, MB. We have something from breakfast to early dinner. Fantastic. Try it, you will go back.

Very great small town Chinese food place!! The buffet was awesome and the staff were really nice and prompt to come to the table!! Will be back again!!

First time visit. Tasty, huge portions, will definitely visit again. Not very many small town Chinese food restaurants that serve this good. We enjoyed the food & had enough to eat for a couple days following.

Sun sun is a family favourite restaurant, from past present to future 10/10 best restaurant in town. The only down side, MSG in food :( so many combinations of sides, drinks, mains and dishes you can possibly get. The service is friendly, local owners so they know your name when you walk in the door, so homey feel… not only do they sell Chinese food they sell average food you can find at any other local restaurant! If youre passing through this town, visiting or just wanting to try something new, come on down to sun sun Chinese!

A diamond in the rough. A friend of mine and I visited Minnedosa Manitoba for the first time the other day. We were looking for a venue to watch the inaugural game of the NFL season and have some food and beverages. Not to knock Minnedosa, but there wasn’t a lot on offer until we wandered into the Corner Stone Grill. The other venues we tried were very dated and not well kept. So with our hearts in our hands and our hope waning, we decided to try this little grill with its neon sign harolding its existence. As mentioned it is small but very cozy. A modern offering compared to the aforementioned bars. The staff was welcoming and accommodating. We sat at one end of the room with a TV all to ourselves. We asked if they could put the NFL game on “ our” TV and turn up the volume so we could hear it( rest of the place was listening to some lovely ambient music). They were very willing to do so with an “ ear” towards not disturbing the other patrons. Our server was bubbly and a delight to banter with. She recommended some beer and food that , after talking with us, She felt we would like. She was right ! Unfortunately they have no beer on tap but the canned IPA she suggested made for a tasty alternative. The potato skins were cooked perfectly and the veggie pizza was very good also. The only thing that I had hopped for was a thin crust which was not on offer. All in all we were sooo pleased to have found this haven in what looked like a bleak outlook. These folks know how to do things right. We will definitely be returning to Minnedosa, if for no other reason than to visit the Corner Stone Grill. Maybe it’s because there was very little competition, but we truly enjoyed our evening there and I highly recommend checking it out. Two hours from Winnipeg. Maybe one hour from Brandon . But with a nice ride through beautiful landscape to get there, you can’t go wrong .

Every bite was so tasty. Perfectly prepared. Will be coming back for more. Such a variety to the menu. Steaks, seafood, sushi and so much more. We had a sushi roll, fantastic, Lemon butter seafood, to die for! Tasty beef dip and it was all so good! Highly recommend this restaurant!!

Small restaurant in Minnedosa. Stars were super friendly and attentive. Drink was on special and was very yummy. Might’ve been the best spinach dip we’ve ever had - and it came with both chips and naan. The burger was insanely delicious. Highly recommend. Is just the right amount of yummy. Fish, fries, and onion rings were all perfect.

The Borsht was delicious! As was the chicken wrap. Fried chicken tastes like it was prepared in house, not from frozen.

Driving through town and it looked super interesting! We were more than presently surprised! Home made food and awesome portions. The Indian food looked tremendous , and all our dishes were perfect. The server was really friendly and helpful too! This is worth the drive off the highway if you’re nearby!

Our recent dining experience here was disappointing and upsetting. As members of a visible minority, we’ve never felt as unwelcome in a restaurant as we did during this visit. Upon arriving, my friend, toddler, and I chose a table. Shortly after, a staff member approached and asked us to move, explaining that a larger party might need it. We didn’t mind and agreed to relocate. However, we felt disheartened when a few minutes later, two local patrons were seated at the table we had just left. During our meal, one of our waters spilled. Since there were no napkins available, I politely asked a nearby staff member for help, only to be met with an irritated response: “What?!” Her tone was so sharp and dismissive that others nearby noticed, making me feel embarrassed and uncomfortable. While the food itself was decent, the overall experience left us feeling deeply disappointed and disrespected. It’s not somewhere I’d recommend based on the service alone.

Had an awesome time. Staff was friendly and helpful. The hall was clean and in excellent condition.

Had the pleasure of having dinner here and meeting Rosie and Tom! Tom was very wholesome, kind, and full of stories! Strongly recommend having the pierogi, cabbage roll, and garlic sausage (kielbasa) dinner! The small town atmosphere and warm welcome will have us coming back next time we’re in town!

Delicious, well-priced baked goods with the highlight being their amazing jam busters! Totally regretted not just getting the entire tray at once, even if it meant eating three in one day. Good home made pies and breads. We bought a cake that Rosie specifically made for us herself! Like the home kitchen like interior setting. Cozy, homey.

So I've recently started coming here and I'm so glad about it. I highly recommend the bicks and bacon which is a pickle and bacon toasted like grill cheese I'm in love with it! Today i came during the breakfast menu and tried the breakfast quesadilla and it was so good I'd never had a breakfast version. Really enjoying my visits there. Thanks so much!

First visit and will be back. A quaint comfy Cafe. Lots of memorabilia to look at. The food was amazing and fresh. The service was top notch Worth the stop!

Fantastic Home cooked meals! A breakfast and lunch only establishment, but everything from Homecut fries, the gravy, potato and pasta salads are homemade, although only available during specials.. Definitely worth the drive. The Cafe is owned by the cook herself and when she pops out of the kitchen, her wicked sense of humor gets the customers going, lol, so takes yours with you and give her a run for your money. Such a cozy atmosphere.
