Best Restaurants Open for Newyears Eve this year in Midlothian – 2024

We were so happy to have stumbled upon this restaurant on our out of town trip. Lunch was amazing. Hope to go back some time.

I was surprised that my gyro platter didn’t actually have a gyro on it but a bunch of chopped up lamb with pita triangles. Honestly, I wasn’t sure how I was supposed to eat it. Owners may want to examine that. All the signs posted about an up charge if a credit card is used was very off putting. I considered not coming because it was so stuck in my head from a past visit. My elderly mother was so appalled, she suggested not leaving a tip. Of course I tipped but I mentioned this so owners will see what is going through guests minds when they read those signs. Please get rid of them. Guests know that restaurants are charged for credit card services but we don’t like to be reminded. Our waitress never checked back on us and our drinks went dry. Consider employee training. I will return because generally the food is terrific and Bellgreek is close to my home. Hope my comments are helpful to management.

Tried spaghetti, Lamb and Chicken gyo all has has been very flavorful. Truly enjoy their eggplant platter. Fries were seasoned as well and I not with just salt. I definitely will return.

I went for a birthday dinner. There was 19 of us and 1 waitress and the service was FLAWLESS. We didn't have any issues. The food came out on time and the orders were correct. The food and drinks were on point.

Was a nice atmosphere for a surprise birthday party! We had two servers, but they seem to be gone for extended periods of time. Took a really long time for the salads to come out, then the food came out much much later than that. I took a poll I have to say that most people did not thoroughly enjoy their meal. My salmon was good, but my potatoes were hard. In a nutshell service was not good and the food was not great. Hard Shell dropped the ball with us. Smh However the drinks were very good!

To set the stage, we went to the restaurant during Restaurant Week. So the menu was limited, but their were a lot of choices. My date and I went to dinner around 630pm 7pm, though we had set a reservation ahead of time. When we arrived, the place was busy, and there did not seem to be a wait. When we told the hostess about our reservation, she immediately told us they were missing staff and to be patient. We decided to sit at the bar while we waited for our table. Immediately, we noticed that to talk in this restaurant required a significant increase in volume. Also, the bartender introduced herself and shared that they were short-handed. We proceed to wait for a chance to get a drink... but that never comes until we are sitting at our table. Waitress was pleasant but almost had a robotic pleasantness that was off-putting. The drinks we ordered were great. While we were talking, my date and I noticed that there were fruit flies buzzing around, indicating that perhaps we were closer to the kitchen. Looking above our table, the wall decorations were covered in dust. Watching the staff work, they seemed fatigued and highly stressed. The food was good, but not wow material. All in all, we are glad we at least knew that part of the money goes to charity. Sadly, I will not be going back to try it again, however. Also, my date made the reservation and mentioned in it that it was our anniversary, but nothing was done or even said to congratulate us. If you are not going to do anything, then why ask on the reservation? Still, perhaps if you visit on a non restaurant week, the experience could be better.

The atmosphere is like a 10 ! Amazing sunset views over the water. Massive outdoor seating area, with an outdoor bar as well. We came for my niece's graduation party. We made our reservation and got sat pretty quickly, but all your parties must be there. We had 2 servers, and both were great! Food was a hit or miss. Things that were good were excellent. Things not so good were pretty bad. After our meal, I went and spoke to the GM about our issues. She was great, listened, and seemed generally concerned and took care of everything to my sincere gratitude. We would come back just for the view and see if the next time is better, and this past was just a fluke, which the gm told me it was. The service is worth another try as well.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at The Boathouse Sunday Park while celebrating our anniversary this weekend. It proved to be an impeccable choice for such a special occasion. Our server, Allie, significantly enhanced our evening with her attentive and thoughtful service. She ensured the comfort and satisfaction of everyone in our party, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the menu and skillfully assisting us in selecting our meals. Allie's dedication to ensuring a memorable dining experience exemplified the restaurant's commitment to excellence in hospitality. P.S. We loved the hush puppies.

The food snd service was amazing! Hayden was exceptional. He brought us complimentary champagne and and dessert with a candle! It was really awesome. Thank you again for an amazing experience!

Food was bland, and my special of the day lobster dish had a couple small pieces of lobster, not much flavor, and the red sauce tasted like jar sauce. There was nothing special about it. The server was very sweet, however, she did not list bacon as an ingredient. I detest bacon. I should have returned it, but I felt badly, so I picked at it. So a lot of money later for a table of 4 (I took my brother for his birthday) I left disappointed and hungry. Loved the space, very cozy.

The food was delicious, fresh and absolutely amazing. Took my daughters to brunch and we had a wonderful experience. Food was top tier. Shrimp and grits was perfectly done, chicken and waffle was scrumptious- dessert were heavenly.

SOO amazing! We reserved a baby shower brunch for 18 ladies and it went without a glitch! They are so responsive to emails and questions. The staff is kind, professional, accommodating and considerate. And of course, the food and drinks were delicious. Thank you Oceano! Can’t wait to come back!

The food presentation was beautiful, and the staff was pleasant and accommodating. Lucy was our server. My party ordered the extra ordinary roll, lamb chops, sunshine shrimp, bacon wrapped scallops & calamari. The lamb chops and sunshine shrimp were a favorite. We give the atmosphere a 4 because of the proximity of tables.

Unfortunately the worst Asian food in this area. I just ordered on DoorDash with expedited delivery fees and it was 14 minutes late. The food was delivered cold. And it is NOT the dasher’s fault. The hawker chicken was awfully sweet like maple syrup, dry overcooked and with only 4 thin strands of chewy dry asparagus. Gyoza was horribly under-seasoned. Sushi was tasteless. Definitely not something I would expect from where I paid over $80. I do not recommend this place.

No tables were available when we stopped by without a reservation.We managed to get 2 seats at the bar together when someone offered to move over a seat. Most everyone at the bar was drinking wine which I later found out was a great price on happy hour. In fact a lot of people had ordered a second glass to sit in front of them while finishing the glass in hand. The happy hour price was ending in a few minutes so they ordered early to save money. It took a while for us to get the bartenders attention to order a drink and we ordered appetizers right away when he came over. The food was good but a bit pricy. Atmosphere was modern and classy.

If you are looking for a mellow, quiet place to have a great dinner with excellent service make sure that you visit here. The decor in here is very warm and welcoming. I decided to sit up at the bar and Sara made sure to give me exceptional service. I placed an order for their Thai Chili glazed chicken wings. Which these are a game changer, if you like wings order these. Truffle Fries was the other item that I was very impressed with. For a dark beer lover order the KBS barrel stout. End result this place is great for date night.

We had a party of 9 for ladies night and the food came out quick and the service was great. Most of the time when a 20% gratuity is added the servers tend to slack off but this was not the case. I do think the bar was a little slow to make drinks but definitely not our servers fault. They have a great Happy Hour here!

I’m writing this review late ash but the food is always great when I go and ever since I been craving those aïoli truffles fries everyday….(I’m big back)

Good selection of craft beer here. Enjoyed the wings and food as well. Met here for a dinner meeting with our staff and we were pleased with the attentive friendly staff. Casual vibe.

I been coming here for a couple years now. Meeting friends for drinks or just having family date nights and I always have an amazing time. The food and atmosphere are just perfect for any kind of night. I highly recommend.

I was in the town on business and ate there several times but tonight definitely left a sour taste in my mouth. Ordered a small pizza with extra cheese. Please see the photos and let me know if you think I received extra cheese. I questioned the server who said she would let “them know “. End of the conversation there as no other response. When I received my check I asked to speak to a Manager. She came down and I questioned the extra cheese. I literally pulled the cheese off of the uneaten pieces and showed/questioned her if this was extra cheese. She stated it was. $2.00 up charge for less cheese than the previous pizzas I’ve ordered there previously while in town. They didn’t even provide shakers for garlic, Parmesan cheese, and crushed red peppers. Had to use my fingers to sprinkle on the condiments.

Great service and food was fresh, hot, and big portions. Went at lunch and ordered off the lunch menu and still had to take some home. Server was awesome. Highly recommend. Jazz music got one star off for atmosphere lol

I recently dined at The Four Seasons Restaurant, and I have to say, it was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time, thanks to our amazing server, Christina. From the moment we were seated, she went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome and well taken care of. Christina’s attention to detail was impeccable! She had excellent recommendations for both food and dessert. Her warm and friendly demeanor made the entire dining experience enjoyable. She took the time to explain the menu, ensured our glasses were never empty, and checked in regularly without being intrusive. Her professionalism and genuine passion for providing exceptional service were evident throughout our time dining. It’s rare to come across someone so dedicated to ensuring guests have a flawless experience. Christina truly made our visit unforgettable, and I can’t wait to return to The Four Seasons Restaurant. She’s a true gem and an asset to the team! We ordered the Cheese Burger Supreme and the Lamb Gyro with a bowl of French Onion Soup that was super delicious. I highly recommend this place and be sure to ask for Christina if you can. You won’t regret it!

I got the chicken Parmesan with a house salad and a slice of Black Forest cake. The chicken parm was delicious with a very generous portion size. The bread is also very good. I also liked the house salad with the Italian dressing. Service was great. The chocolate cake was dry but the whipped frosting and cherry filling was good. The cake would’ve been excellent if the cake wasn’t so dry.

Had a quick lunch. They had a nice crowd due to football. Service was great. The onion rings were awesome. This was our first time trying this restaurant. The egg rolls were not a favorite for me the meat had a little too much gristle.

Quick to go be seated and to order however this food is horrible. Husband hated the wings that were so hairy. Not crispy at all and cold. Hush puppies were crunchy in the outside but somewhat raw in the inside. Very soft and fluffy to the point that it falls apart. Pineapple coleslaw has canned a couple of pineapples in it but not fresh. Chicken sandwich wasn’t bad but def small and bread was thick and falling apart as well. Overall not a place a will return. The only things I enjoyed was the celery and carrots sticks. Pain killer and rum runner are weak and not really worth the time.

Heard a lot of mixed things about this place. Decided to come and check it out myself. I got tacos, fries, and wings. All recommended to me by my waitress. Think her name was Kali. She gave the best recommendations ever. Food was pretty good for a sports bar. Her Service was impeccable , she was very much helpful and answered all of my questions. Will definitely come again. Keep up the good work, Kali. We need more people like you out there.

Out of all of the Irish pubs i have been to i would rate this one 6 out of 10.The reason being because their menu has way too many different delicacies on it. You are an Irish Pub focus more of your food items to be of Irish delicacy. The Reubens here are outstanding along with the French fries.

This is my favorite place to eat, however, today I tried the chicken quesadilla. Horrible. Huge chunks of everything making it hard to eat as everything would fall out when you pick up a slice of the quesadilla. And no taste. You get a small cup of salsa on the side. I asked for shredded lettuce on top , the cook put it inside the quesadilla. Ridiculous! The server brought me something else which was very nice.

Had the lasagna. Probably a questionable choice for an Irish place, but it needed more sauce. Chicken wings were delicious and beer options were good. Good atmosphere and servers were quick and friendly.

Sundays are the best days to come in here and visit this amazing establishment. Make sure to try their happy hour menu because they have so many good items on here. I recommend the salt and pepper calamari, the lettuce wraps, and the oysters Rockefeller. The drinks here are exceptional and they have 32 beers on draft here.

"I had a great first time experience. The wait time was reasonable. The atmosphere was inviting, with great service from the friendly staff. Although l did witness this one, a young waitress (blonde hair braided in ponytail) came out of the bathroom stall and walked right out the restroom and didn't wash her hands. I was highly disgusted. They need to reiterate how important for staff to wash their hands. On another note, the menu offered a great selection, and the crab ragoon I ordered was incredibly delicious! The dessert ordered was delicious. l believe it was called Brule or something like that. Portion sizes were generous, and prices were reasonable, but some were a little pricey. Other than that, l do plan on returning again.

Dined on Saturday night with my boyfriend and his parents and we had a great experience. The service was accommodating as soon as we walked in! We asked to be seated so my boyfriend and his dad could watch the game and were given a few options. Our server Sean was great; he checked on us often, kept our water flowing, and was very personable. From what I could tell all of the servers seemed to be working efficiently as there were a few larger groups dining in. Our food was amazing as expected. It had been a while since my last visit so I knew what I wanted. The salmon dip is my favorite appetizer hands down but I always have to ask for extra chips. Everything came out fresh and was cooked perfectly. I love the fried shrimp entree as it’s so filling and you can’t go wrong with the sidewinder fries and Brussels. My boyfriend’s crab cake sandwich was the only thing I’d never tried and it was huge. Sean told us it was over 5 oz of crab meat and it didn’t disappoint. We all left full with leftovers so expect great food and great value !

First impressions based on the exterior made us want to try this place and I'm glad we did! We came in craving good tacos and margaritas and we're not disappointed. I love tacos and Asian food so this was the perfect fusion for me! We ordered the pork belly tacos, shrimp tempura, and asada tacos I believe. Also the tuna nachos for an appetizer. Everything was amazing. I ordered the desert pear margarita and was very tipsy and barely drank any (I'm postpartum and a light weight lol) but it was so good! I loved the atmosphere. Very beautifully decorated and even though it was packed and there were TVs on, it wasn't a loud atmosphere. I really enjoyed myself and will definitely be back!

Trying to find something new, we end up in Wong’s Tacos, we love the exterior that is what catch our attention and make us got in an try it out. Best decision ever, amazing tacos, a mixture of Mexican and Asian food, good option for kids too, healthier and super yummy as my daughter said. Monday Margaritas day! Really good! And Shawnei our bartender and server was so sweet and great with our girls! She made our experience one of the best! I’ll definitely come back!

Definitely an unusual and interesting menu. I wasn't sure what to expect but it was delicious. The server was helpful with selections. The cocktails were good as well. I will be returning, lots of things I want to try
