Best Restaurants Open for Newyears Eve this year in Marystown – 2024

Went there with my grandson. Ordered a combo for myself at almost 20 dollars you think there would be enough food 4 chicken balls a little bit of rice. A small piece of chicken with gravy and 5 pcs of little ribs. I left starving my grandson had a kids meal basically almost the same food for 7 dollars or so. Food was good but when I said it to the waiter about the portion size he just shrugged his shoulders I guess he heard it before. Having grown up in the restaurant business myself and going to many Chinese restaurants in many countries this was the smallest portion size I seen for the price for average taste. I was as told by locals I should have went to the restaurant in Burin to get a better feed also took a takeout for my friend and was no different than the kids meal.

Had the Hawaii 5-0. Chicken, Pork, Beef, Shrimp, Scallops were good but it was a little bland tasting considering the wide variety of proteins in the dish. For $20, I'd expect more than two small scallops and three shrimp. More onion would likely have helped with taste. A large portio of broccoli made up the majority of the dish.

We're locals, so we've eaten here multiple times throughout the last couple years. The food is consistently good, as is the wait staff, who are kind and attentive. The Moo Goo Guy Pan (sp?) is VERY good, as is Platter #5 which is my favourite. Bring your appetite with you; the portions are very adequate. Well priced too...

Food is good. Ive ate here multiple times. I really like the classy old school victorian vibe. They keep it clean and it is well preserved inside. They dont make restaurants like this anymore with the big wooden doors, vintage lights and fancy trim with gold accents. The upper part of the restaurant was closed off when ive been there but its so cozy looking with the dim lights and booths. Very cool spot to just look around.

The food is very, very deep fried. All seafood was wrapped with a thick layer of batter. It's a fine place if you are really hungry or looking for beer or snacks. I don't recommend shrimp because inside the batter is just a tiny piece of something. There is no espresso mashie. Just regular coffee from the pot.

We had a visit here for brunch. It wasn't very busy at all, so we were seated right away. The menu was a little different than what was pictured online (smaller at the restaurant), but otherwise we had no issues at all. Very fast and friendly service. Food was yummy, but needed salt.

Went to Mary’s town for the day with my family mainly because we wanted some crispy chicken.we got to kfc the staff were all very friendly the food came out hot and fresh and was very delicious the chicken was so golden and crispy one of the kids had a four piece crispy and he ate every bit and asked to bring some home way to go kfc Mary’s town for making this vist worth while we will be back

I just had the best KFC experience ever at the marystown location. Stachia was very friendly and professional. I have never been treated so well at a restaurant before. I can not wait to come here again

Tea was hot and made correct. Otherwise it's Tim Hortons, what do you expect

The last 2 nights I got ice capps they have been super runny and dark/bitter. Fully melted in 5 minutes. Either the machine is off, broken or needs to be cleaned. Lady at the window couldn't understand me when I told her there was something wrong.

Love the wings here. 10/10 Must visit

Food and service is good. Little pricey. But love that I can watch a game with a beer and good food.

Terrible experience. The nachos were good, that's why it's not one star, however, the burgers were disgusting, the menu lack luster, the service was passable but nothing extra.

The food here was EXCEPTIONALLY DELICIOUS!! It was also a great value as a party of 6 ate for less than $140 and that's $10 tip included. Thanks to the place for helping me treat my brother Joe to a nice birthday :)

Solid food if you like a fish and chips type spot. Expensive, family of four cost over $80. The staff are fantastic. The place has VERY limited seating and a bar next door that just attracts people to the lotto machines. If they could expand the seating and brighten it up a bit, it has potential to really be big.

I normally don't post bad experiences but this mcdonald's and surrounding area was filthy and disgusting

Ordered through app, took 15 minutes to get it brought to my car. Went straight home, two minutes. Fries were like ice, bit into my quarter pounder, felt soft. Took anothwr bite no taste, not right.opened burger. Raw. So what took 15 minutes. Wifes order same thing.

probably one of the best mcdonald's's out there. good fries and other food like the berger and chickens. they must raise some good burger cows and chickens nuggets and potastesoes

While the service was fast, the portion sizes were incredibly disappointing for the price. I felt like I received a kid’s meal at the cost of an adult’s meal. For what I paid, I expected much more. I left still hungry and had to stop by another restaurant just to feel satisfied. Definitely not worth the price, and I won’t be returning unless they significantly improve the portion sizes.

My family goes to this place atleast once a week. We noticed a new person working ( which is fine) She accidentally rang us in for the wrong pizza.. which again was fine. She's new. However, the supervisor that was working today.. crazy.. She nicely told me I have to wait another 30 minutes for my pizza. Not only that... but gave the new employee a hard time because " she messed up" When I asked if the manager could call me the supervisor said " we aren't allowed to tell you this information " and was extremely rude and disrespectful Absolutely crazy.. If the manager could please reach out to me regarding this. That would be great.

Just had supper here and my server was Liam, he is an asset to your business as he was a wonderful server who seemed to interact with customers ( other tables I observed and myself) very naturally and he was very friendly. He placed my order right away and I waited a very short time for my hot and fresh food which was delicious, checked on me a few times during the meal, a good experience all around.

It's were Most of our grocery shopping is done. Also enjoy Jasmine's jewellery with their fine growing Nutrients. Game store is Nice too.

Its coming around. No Frills is a must for groceries, ville marie to get your hair done, and dont leave without a visit to the model ship gallery

I went to jamsine's Jewelry and No frills. Both places had friendly service. But Jansine's made u feel like family and I will definitely go back there again. No frills was packed and a little slow but the cashiers kept the lines flowing, even though they were friendly it seemed more practice and less genuine. Over all a good experience.

Marystown Mary Browns has to be one of the best. Staff are always willing to go the extra mile and with a smile. It's always spotless and well maintained. The food is always cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. Mary Browns has the best legs in town.

Mary Brown’s is my go to for fried chicken, and this location is one of the best I’ve been to. The restaurant is always spotlessly clean, the staff are very friendly and on the ball, and the chicken and sides are always fresh and tasty. I’ve never had a bad experience here, so check it out!!

Moving into our house was late didn't eat all day only thing open was subway so we thought it was 8:50..guy was mopping floor and door was locked. Hours said till 10 unless I am wrong. Guy didn't even look at us. *** Decided to give them a try! 24$ for 2 drinks and a rice chicken teriyaki bowl....can anyone find the rice or quinoa in this pic like finding Waldo! The bowl was half full with 2 peices of pepper and 1/4 cup lettuce and a few spinach leaves...took us awhile to try the place but won't be going again!

Subway is always wonderful to have. You have the freedom to put whatever you want on your sandwich. You can try something different every single time you go. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. The prices are usually around $20 per person, though it depends on what you get.

Food great however the staff took extra time preparing subs over 30 mins at drivethrough even putting a rack of potato chips to block my view of employee that was not even stared to make sub rather he was chatting with another employee purposely ignoring me because I made him do his job at order window and he found it tiresome I guess to list what sauces were available. Not cool .
