Best Restaurants Open for Newyears Eve this year in Manheim – 2024

We passed by this place heading to our hotel and this captured my husband’s attention as he always loved like this kind of mom and pop restaurant. But this place is full packed of customers, you need to wait. Although waiting is worth as they really have good foods no wonder people from the neighborhood don’t like to cook snd just come here and relax.

This place was wonderful! We were seated immediately ( we went early) and our food came out quickly. I was impressed they had iced coffee! The cinnabun pancakes were amazing! They we're HUGE so I had to take my 2nd one home! Our waitress was great! She made sure we had everything we needed. The prices are super reasonable. Definitely worth visiting!

We went here for the first time and had a really good experience! Food was very good, service was friendly, and overall atmosphere is nice. I highly recommend the cinnamon roll pancakes - they were delicious and the highlight of the experience!! And they have a big menu and a decent amount of unique things on there. I enjoy their paninis, and my husband thought the omelette was very good.

We've come to this restaurant many times o er the last few years and it NEVER disappoints! Also great food, great staff and great atmosphere. Such a neat building and roaring 20's decor! We will be back! 10/10 recommend! Food we got: Ceasar Salad (came with grilled chicken), Meatball appetizer, Chicken Fingers and Braided Pretzel.

An amazing place to visit and dine in! It’s a combination of a friendly family restaurant and a 1920s bourgeoisie speakeasy. The drinks are crafted in a 1920s style and taste like nothing you’ve ever tried before. I personally recommend the gin cocktail. The food is authentic, reminiscent of what people would have eaten in the 1920s—simple and original, without any of the fancy additives developed in recent times to manipulate taste buds. It’s genuinely good. I would definitely come back to try more unique drinks and dishes. The staff is attentive and always goes above and beyond to make your experience special. And there's more: Karaoke Saturdays start at 9 p.m.!

We left under-impressed with food and service. Food was just ok. Not a single item stood out except for very large portions. Unnecessarily large for the type of dining this restaurant seems to offer. Overall, we were fed but not impressed. Interior looked beautiful and classy. Only seating in the outside yard-like area was available without a reservation which we didn’t mind, but it’s really nice in there and you would pay the same price for seating in that beautiful speakeasy vs seating on cheap benches outside Hostess was courteous and tried to help. Service was a hit or miss. Our waitress was not handling the stress of her job too well making her appear rushed and not present. Dropped things and disappeared for a while periodically. Never checked or cared if we had any issues with our meals. Another girl was very welcoming and friendly but didn’t happen to be assigned to our table. Prices are reasonable. Fairly priced given they define themselves in the fine dining industry. Value for money for our experience was not great though considering the quality of food and service we were given. Thank you for having us. May return on a slower day for a second try.

Take your kids here for ice cream and maybe food. Food was decent. Better than McDonald’s and Burger King’s but nothing spectacular. Ice cream was delicious and servings were generous. Service was also polite and pleasant. It works out great for families with young children considering the food options and prices, and that’s probably why it’s usually packed with families with kids.

We are so happy this place is here! We've missed the food and ice cream since the Elizabethtown one went out of business. I just wish the young man on the register was a bit more attentive. He messed up our food order and our ice cream order. Not a major deal, but still . . .

I've eaten Twin Kiss all my life at the Palmyra and Elizabethtown locations. Even when we moved out of state in 2007, when coming back for visits, we would still eat there. I was devastated they closed and still pray a location will open again one day in that area. But there's one last location in Manheim and its been well over 6yrs since I've had Twin Kiss. made the hike and finally went, while visiting Hummelstown area. Wow! It was pretty good. It definitely isn't the same. But close enough. 1st. The fries are horrible even my kids said so. We are used to the delicious crinkle fries. But the skinny. It's ok. But. Ours were over cooked and not very hot or good. 2nd. Onion rings. The best ever!! I havent had that good of rings in too many years!! Still not hot hot. 3rd. The cheesesteak. I am so glad I got extra cheese and sauce cause I have no idea how dry it be w out it. It was GOOD. But slightly different. But satisfying. Still not hot hot. The ice cream was so darn good it was crazy. The service was AWESOME. The kids working entertained this ol lady on the stories I've said above and entertained my enthusiasm over a cheese steak and being there!!! Wish the cashier guy wouldn't have had his hat so low that I couldn't see his face. But he tolerated me as I'm sure I was annoying and he was great. The ice cream kid was so polite and it was excellent service there. As I was leaving I said thank you to the kids on the grill, one young guy was very professional, likely a mgr or child of one, loved him. Most excellent experience and food. A lifetime of memories and tastes of memories that I sure hope never ever close thank you. I hope they consider another location in palmyra or elizabethtown area and bringing back crinkle fries!! Thanks guys!!!!

Nothing like a classic diner to enjoy breakfast with your family! We’re from out of town and wanted a good breakfast spot the City Star Diner did not disappoint! Delicious breakfast with lots of options to choose from. Our coffee cups were always full and the service was great!

Always a good place and affordable to have breakfast that has a homestyle cooking. Service is good.

Didn't particularly care for the food. Not very flavorful and brought me the wrong entree. Waitress was nice, but not very knowledgeable about the menu. On my way to the restroom things just looked dirty. A sign in the bathroom said to flush 3 times. Five didn't even do it properly.

I didn't have very high expectations given the experience I have had away from local restaurants, but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the cheessteak I ordered. The cheesesteak was well prepared. delicious, meaty, and flavorful. The bread was top quality with the right level of crustiness. The meat was well sautéed with good caramelized onions and just the right amount of cheese. I would highly recommend trying the steak sandwiches. The place is conveniently located occupying the corner store in a strip mall with ample parking right across Manheim auto auction. Being owner operated, customers would be well looked after. It is always a good sign to hear the owner take pride in what she puts out for the customers. Apart from food, the place has a nice ambiance and is very neatly kept.

First time coming here the food and service were both good well worth a try.

Bacio's grandma pizza is my new favorite pizza. I'm almost 40 and have always held a place near Columbia, PA as my favorite... Bacio's has converted me with their grandma pizza... I'm still in shock that this happened! My favorites don't really change much anymore, but I could eat this every day without getting tired of it. The crust is somehow a star of the show... It's done so well and has a great flavor. It's thin but has enough umph to hold together well. The sauce is delicious. Nothing but good things to say about this 'za!

As nearby residents of Manheim, we dine there a few times a month and highly recommend Hearth & Harrow restaurant for its variety of fresh and reasonably priced dinners. Their expertise and attention to detail really shone last month when I made plans for my husband's milestone surprise birthday celebration for 50+ friends and family. Their catering manager, Ginger, is amazing! She listened to my ideas and apprehensions about the evening and set my mind at ease with her expert guidance. She provided great input, was open to trying new things, and provided a nice selection of food and drink options to consider. Ginger and her staff were a pleasure to work with and were attentive to us and our guest's needs throughout this memorable evening. Our celebration was a great success (and was a real surprise for him!) Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer... P.S. Many guests were unaware of H&H before that night, and praised the welcoming atmosphere, the great food, and friendly service, and planned to go back again soon to check out more of their menu offerings!

Stopped in after seeing a TV commercial. This restaurant is located inside a retirement community. You order and pay as you arrive. They assign you a number and you find a table to sit. Jason was the person that took our order and waited on our table. I got the Beef on Weck per Jason’s recommendation. Glad I did. It was excellent. My wife got the Barbecue Chicken Panini. She loved it. I also got a lager beer from Funk Brewery. It was tasty. It’s not a very close drive but we would definitely go back. There’s plenty of parking. The dining room isn’t enormous but they also have outdoor seating. I almost forgot. The French fries were also delicious.

A really good place for brunch. They have plenty of seating both indoor and outdoor. We were greeted by a very nice lady and showed to our table. They have a nice menu and we loved everything we ordered. Definitely going again if we ever visit Mt. Gretna again
